We had leak at our residence from an unknown source and instead of using the more expensive leak detection way, they really tried to find it first on their own to avoid the extra cost. I had a water leak that caused damage above our kitchen the Friday evening before an important trip. Tommy was more than willing to come over immediately or wait until my return. I secured our whole house shutoff and he came over at the arranged time upon my return. He efficiently located the leak and because of his expertise, I incurred the least amount of drywall damage. Josh Fox always does a great job for us. When we moved into our new place, we consulted with him about our water system, we went and bought the items. He and his team did a great job on the install. After a few weeks we noticed a problem, looked at the manuals and found a slight inconsistency in the setup we had vs what was recommended.We showed him the problem and he immediately scheduled us, came over that week and fixed the problem for no additional charge.Thank you guys for being awesome!

It was 9:00 at night and I had a pipe burst on the exterior of my home. After calling several of the large corporate 24 hour plumbers and being told I wouldnt be able to get service to the next day I reached out to Richard Fox plumbing. The plumber Joey was courteous and arrived at My house within 30 minutes. He took care of my problem in a timely fashion and was knowledgeable and efficient. And given the late hour of the incident the price was it too bad either 😁. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

Being new to Florida, we were unaware of how terrible the water quality is in Florida. Richard and his team made an overwhelming process, extremely easy and straightforward. As far as prices, fairness, and services, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED RICHARD FOX. Unfortunately, the buying and installation process for a whole house water filtration system is filled with dishonest and “used car salesman” plumbers who just want to take advantage of you. I paid the weekend rate for stopped up toilet. Very expensive. Tech took about 3 minutes with plunger to unstop it. It lasted 4 days, then stopped up again. They wanted to charge me again!Wish they had just stopped by, used the plunger again with no charge. That would have been good customer service. The man on the phone did say, Well, it lasted a few days. as if that was good enough.They came back and took care of it for no charge.

Found our plumber for life!We searched local Facebook groups for a plumber and came up with 3 that were repeatedly recommended. Of the 3, the conversation just felt right from the moment I chatted with Josh. When we have to bring a service provider into our home, comfort & communication are really important to us and Josh nailed it for us. His team installed a sink in the laundry room, a toilet, and a recirculating pump to cycle the hot water to the furthest parts of the house. The pump was his suggestion instead of costly & unnecessary repairs. Truly grateful for a plumber who will help to educate us and make recommendations. He had to come back a couple times to get everything just right and never once did I feel a bother.Bonus, Josh is easygoing and has a great sense of humor. If youd prefer not to have a chuckle from your plumber, find someone else. I love that he finds humor in what cant possibly always be an enjoyable job especially because most of us call him when things get icky.Thanks soooooooo much Josh! Youre stuck with us for infinity 🤣.

Fox Plumbing is the absolute best. My fiance and I had the pleasure of working with both the owner and his son. We called when our shower backed up and they were out just a few hours later. What we thought would be a small repair turned out to be much bigger project, but they explained everything while they were doing it .They even cleaned up the dirt tracked through the house. We are very impressed with their quality of service and would recommend to family and friends!

The owner and his son are very engaged in their business and have a great reputation for standing behind their work. We moved our kitchen sink 20+ feet away and these guys did a great job getting all of the plumbing moved without charging us an arm and a leg. Not only was the job done correctly, the owner and his son followed up to make sure everything went well. Great service! I recently contacted the owners son, Josh about a leaky faucet and through the troubleshooting, he gave me step by step instructions on how to replace the cartridge... All at 7:30pm! This is a stand up company and I would highly recommend them.

This week, after buying a new refrigerator, I discovered - last minute - that I needed some work on the water supply line / valve for the ice maker & water dispenser. They came out and found I had a broken pipe running towards my septic and that’s what caused the stoppage I thought I had. They said they were going to get it done ASAP and they did. UPDATED 03-22-2022Needed our external LP instant hot water heater replaced after the 16yr old original unit started having issues again. Josh had previously repaired the unit with a new motherboard which was great and didnt cost too much. It lasted for almost 2 years which was fantastic. But the unit started acting up again and it was time to replace it. Called Fox, Josh called back, and suggested, for us to save a few hundred dollars, to go and purchase a new unit on my own and he will install it. He told me exactly what i needed to look for, make, etc. After researching make and models, i picked a top 9.4gpm model. Sent Josh the info, he said it was a good pick... and to call him when the unit arrived and wed set an install date/time. Unit came, called Josh, and today it was installed quickly and at a fair cost. My getting the unit instead of the plumbing company getting it saved us roughly 300plus! Always great professional work by the Fox plumbing people... always our company of choice! Thank you Josh & Tom!After SEARCHING, yes, i search this stuff to DEATH, until i find the right contractor, with the right combination of price, professionalism, honesty and integrity as well as taking pride in their work.... DONT call Tru-whatever, DONT cal Benjamin-whatever...first off, they want YOU, the customer to PAY for them to give you an ESTIMATE of anywhere between 29.95 and 55.00!! With the caveat that if you use them, they deduct the fee....so, if they come and give you some outrageous price as one of them did, and you of course tell them NO, you owe them for the estimate! NOT ME!!! I will NOT pay for any estimate unless ive called someone from 2hrs away!Richard Fox, in ONE quick call, gave me the estimate BASED ON what I wanted them to do, right over the phone; nice, quick and easy. And when the work was done, the bill was even less!Dont call anyone else; better yet, go for it if you think Im kidding, research contractors to death like I did; even use HomeAdvisor which I do too, but I would strongly advise you to call Mr Fox somewhere in the mix. I mean this sincerely, for ANY and ALL your plumbing needs, and all our plumbing needs, its Richard C Fox Plumbing in Lakeland fl. Its a wonderful multi generational, family owned and operated business of the highest caliber. Over my forty something years of working, I had worked in this field for a spell, as well as other trades, I know if I or we, are getting screwed...lol. But instead of doing this work on my own, we can now afford to let others do the hard work leaving me to do what I want to do better.The job they did for us was to remove the 2 existing toilets, both in a one level home, both sitting on pre-tiled floors, and then install 2 new toilets the new ones that I purchased. They put them in at an awesomely fair, and they did NOT damage any of the existing floor tile. I had a sudden bad leak under my sink. I called Richard Fox Plumbing after reading some of their reviews. It so happened, one of their trucks was on his way back from a job and was only an exit away from where I am. This very nice young man looked at the leak said it was loose he tightened the screw and wa la. No more leak. He didnt charge me a dime said he was in the area and here 10 minutes. I realize this still could have been considered a service call. Mr. Fox,That service man was your son, Josh.I believe the fruit doesnt fall far from the tree. So thank you both.
