    Benjamin Franklin company was very good with setting my appointment time and arriving when they said. Jose was excellent about letting me know what my issues were and quickly repairing a problem that that a rival company had not been able to repair in 3 days.     Guest bathroom was clogged. Jose was able to come out the same day we called and fix it in just a few minutes. He took the time too explain how to know the difference in the septic being backed up or just the toilet. He was professional and friendly.

    Their technician Mr. Gustavo was professional and very knowledgeable, utilizing forty plus years of experience to replace a well pump on a thirty year old well. He literally looked at the system and formulated how and where to cut to make the replacement quick and easy. He definitely cares about the customer. He is the reason they received five stars.The only issue I have is their call center cant give a ballpark figure on price, pretty much requiring you to have a tech come out. I understand the reason for this, as every job is different, but for someone who may be shopping around, this can turn folks away.Still, five stars. Yall need to give Mr. Gustavo a raise!

    Jose was very thorough checking my plumbing, and was able to diagnose an issue I am having with my septic system. Jose checked our incoming water supply to make sure our water treatment and water softener systems are working properly. Jose also changed our anode rod in our hot water tank, and verified that everything was operating as intended. Jose is very professional and is a nice guy also. Feel lucky if you get Jose assigned to one of your projects. I know if I have any new issues with my plumbing I will be requesting him to be assigned for the project!

    Jose called first to notify us of his ETA, I also appreciated that he entered our home with shoe covers on. The assessment and estimate was fair and Jose was friendly and professional. He cleaned up and left no mess for me-I really appreciated that he asked (prior to caulking) if I even wanted that done because others might just have assumed you want caulk around a Toilet, but I did not so it means a lot to me that he cared and took the time to ask me first and Im very happy with the job he did! I highly recommend Jose and will be calling on him again for any future issues.

    I want to add another 5 star review for Ben Franklin. When we bought our water heater, we automatically received an annual plumbing check up from Ben Franklin. I thought it would be only for the water heater but it was a WHOLE HOUSE plumbing check.Our technician, Gustavo, was more than a plumber; he was a plumbing scientist! When I complained about the tiny bugs crawling out of our garden tub drain, he explained that we because we dont use the tub, we should run water through the drain weekly to keep the pipes moist and the bugs at bay. Who knew? We do that now and no bugs!He noticed the kitchen faucet hose was hanging loose and wouldnt tract anymore. He asked me if it bothered me just hanging in the sink, and when I said it did, he crawled under my sink to fix it.Gustavo checked every piece of plumbing we had, explaining what he was doing and why the whole time. He flushed our toilets to see water flow and fill. He even checked our main water cut off. I now have useful education about our plumbing system that I needed but didnt know how to get. Ask for Gustavo. Hes more than a plumber - hes a magician!Andrew was phenomenal! Called before arrival to verify we still wanted service and have us estimate of arrival time. He arrived on schedule and kept us informed about what he was doing to diagnose our water heater problem. It was serious because the water heater was 15+ yrs old. He sold us a new one but didnt try to upsell, explaining choice costs with benefits of each. We deliberated made our decision and the Andrew set about removing the old heater. It was so badly corroded that he couldnt drain it from the bottom. He had to remove it and drain it from the top. There was so much sediment in the bottom that it imploded all over him. The poor guy was covered in sediment, hair & head to torso, even the back of his neck. If Andrew hadnt serviced us when he did, the pressure build up in the tank would have been catastrophic! He worked diligently for hours. Alone. Removing the old tank, purchasing the new one and installing it. It was a complicated ordeal and he missed lunch and dinner but we knew what he was doing the whole time he was here. I didnt feel blindsided by anything. And the cost was reasonable. I hope Andrew is rewarded for his efforts because he is the reason Ben Franklin has gained a new customer. I recommend BF and Andrew, in particular. Well always request him for a Tuesday through Saturday call. Wed even wait for him!!

    Brandon came in and after evaluation he explained the options and the prices. I opted to have him do the work today and he was done before I knew it. The best part was I was able to ask him about another problem I had and he gave options there also. With Benjamin Franklin there are many things that can be done. Brandon never acted like a salesman or pushed for anything. He just told me of options the company has and the price range for the different options. He left it to me to decide my price range and then gave me plenty of options for payment. I ended up getting three things at a low price and was never pushed or pressured at all. Just well informed. Today is Friday and Brandon will be back on Monday to install the new hot water heater and water treatment equipment. No money down, low payment. A down to earth guy who knows what hes doing. Glad to have him here. And will use Benjamin Franklin again.
