Jake was a good worker , but couldn’t finish job 1st day (we had to get septic tank emptied for him to finish) but he told us he’d be back the following day (septic tank emptied next morning). Well the following day an emergency happened but the lack of communication between Jake, or the office was a little to be desired. We called the office multiple times with a promise they would get back to us. No calls received from anyone. Then finally a text came in on Monday that Jake would be out. He finally finished Monday afternoon after leaving for a hour to pick up something he didn’t have but needed. So far system is working fine. But for communication between office, worker to the customer would get a 1 star and Jake a 4 star for his work.

Trust worthy company. Technicians Lamar and Tate were professional and respectful. Installed new toilet in about one hour. Beautifully done. Great sense of humor. So refreshing to see young men enjoying their jobs and respecting each other. Cleaned up area and removed old toilet. Iwould defitney use them again. Have told them will call them again to install a hot water tank for me. Also I called my neighbor and told him how smart and efficient they were. He has their number and will be contacting them. Lamar from True Blue installed a new toilet in our master bath this afternoon, showed up on time despite the terrible weather conditions, was respectful of our home, efficient and communicative. He swapped the new toilet for the old, hauled the old one away and replaced a floor flange to be sure we didnt have problems later. We scheduled the service at the same time we purchased the toilet from Home Depot and were very happy with the entire experience.

Chris with True Blue was amazing! Having a backup/drain issues are never fun and can be costly. Chris went to every effort to inform me of what was going on along the way and to provide the best service possible without an astronomical price tag. True Blue was by far the best price for mainline drain cleaning that I found and I called probably 3 other big name companies. I was impressed overall with the cost, timeliness, and overall service provided! Im now a dedicated True Blue customer for sure!

We had Chris help us out. Exceptional serviceman, took care of our issue. Replaced our main stack, ran new kitchen line & rerouted it to make it optimal, removed the old kitchen main. Also had him install a new water heater & he knocked it out.Spent a solid chunk of change, but we have no worries about his work or that hed be here asap to repair if needed. If needed, theyll be our first call. Easily can recommend Chris at True Blue!!! 👍👍👍

I will never use another plumbing company again. This company knows what they are doing, the bid came in hundreds of dollars lower than comparable local plumbers. Extremely professional, on time, and incredibly professional customer service both by the professionals that did the work, but also fantastic and personal customer service over the phone. I had a water heater replaced and was told by other bidders that the job was “not possible” because of the limited space to work in. My home was built in the 40s and there are always surprises when making repairs. Not with these guys- they got it done faster than expected and cleaned up after themselves like they were never there. “Not possible” was easy for them. They are just what I expect from a professional standpoint… and my expectations are high. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a QUALITY plumber and great service. Thanks guys!

Thanks to your customer service department for answering the phone with an actual person and scheduling me so quickly with Jackson. He was quite knowledgeable about what needed done and did an awesome job from start to finish. It started off as a simple drain cleaning job, but when he tried he told me right away that it was going to be a more complicated repair and described what we would see when the pipe was uncovered. It was worse than we both thought, but easily repaired after he got started and it was underway. I’m sure glad that the first place I called ignored my request for service.

Had a great experience with True Blue! Alex Manrique was our plumber and he was super friendly and knowledgeable. I showed him the issue we were experiencing and he immediately knew what the problem was. He still went to check to confirm his assessment and also went so far as the check the water pressure to the house as a whole. He didnt try to upsell us on anything other than what he believed to be the issue. I felt confident in his assessment, so we moved forward with the repair while he was there and he completed the repair in just over an hour. Ever since, we have had no sign of the previous issue and the water pressure has been SO much better! Will definitely be using True Blue again and requesting Alex in the future.

Extremely happy with the service I received from True Blue. Had water leaking through my ceiling in kitchen on a Saturday. Gave them a call and they were out later that afternoon. They diagnosed the problem and got it fixed that same day. The technician, Chris, was outstanding. He was very good about explaining and showing me the problems and what we could do to fix everything. I was so happy with service I had them come back out a few days later to do some other work that had been building up. They give you an estimate before work is done but don’t charge until after it is completed. Highly recommend True Blue for any of your plumbing needs.

I had a great experience with True Blue. I needed modifications to my kitchen water line so I could get a dishwasher installed. Time was important, True Blue was able to schedule me for the next day when others were looking at times a week out.Alex contacted me when he was on his way. He was professional, nice, etc etc. The important thing is that he came up with a really good solution for my problem. My waterline was all weird, the dishwasher was hooked up to a distinct line that was hidden behind the wall and hard to get to. He had the elegant idea to take the hot water line for the sink and put in a tee joint so it could service both the sink faucet and the dishwasher. Smart solution, the work was well done, and the price was reasonable.Im done with the radio darlings like Bob Hamilton, Service Experts, and AB May. Theres a reason they advertise so much on radio and tv...because their high prices give them enough income to invest in advertising. Does it make their services better? Nope! Just more expensive. True Blue was great, theyre my go-to from now on. I will ask for Alex each time I need work done.

True Blue Pros! Ive used True Blue Plumbing for twice now. (main entrance valve and water heater installation) The first time their technician was communicative, honest and very efficient. There was an issue with a minor leak a few days after the install but the tech immediately came out and sealed/fixed the problem and it never occurred again. This second time Alex was awesome with the installation of our new water heater. He was very communicative on all the issues and advised the pressure reducing valve was too small for our size of home. He never tried to sell me a new valve but the information he gave me led to the new PRV as well. After the install he explained all that had been performed, cleaned the area thoroughly and was very friendly. A few days later (at my request) he came back to check the water pressure and blew the lines to remove any and all sediment that had gathered.True Blue Plumber are paid by salary and no hourly. Theres no pressure from them to upsell any worthless products or services. I will recommend True Blue to anyone in need of a plumber and will continue to use their services in the future.

The tech Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable, and able to explain in detail what we needed to know. We made an appointment to have our main line looked at the following Monday. Although the news was difficult our tech Chris was clear and concise about our options and what to expect going forward. We made another appointment for the following day to have a repair made and Chris made sure to explain to us what was going on and what to expect going forward. True Blue Plumping is a company with friendly techs who are more than willing to help you in any way possible.

I had Ike as our tech and he was the best. Very personable and he knew what he was doing. He made sure to tell me what he was going to do and when he was done he told me what he had done and what was wrong with our drain. They are very reasonable company and they will warranty their work. I had others going to charge me double to triple what True Blue charged me and didn’t offer warranty like True Blue did. They are definitely someone I will use in the future and will refer them to family and friends!

Our family is expecting twins in about a month to add to our household which already has a toddler. Stress is high and money is tight. I had a sink drain issue (every worsening over the past few years which finally came to a head) as a result of my old metal pipe. I called True Blue by recommendation. I was so surprised they were able to send out a plumber later that day, even though it wasnt an emergency! Anthony called prior to arrival to give an estimated arrival. He was EXTREMELY courteous and friendly, taking precautions for both Covid and muddy conditions outside (THANK YOU!). We looked at resolution options that were within my budget. To be honest I was terrified of how much the bill would set me back, but the estimate was affordable! It took him no time to change out the pipe and even put the crazy Ikea sink drawer back in to make sure it fit with the new pipes. He finished under budget much to our familys relief and surprise. Anthony was fast, friendly, professional, and effective. He assured me if I had any problems I could call back, - but the work looks great. Everyone is afraid of getting taken advantage by home repairs; its so great to have service you know is honest and reliable. We will use True Blue again.

He would have been able to make the repair that day as well if it werent for a few factors which kept him from doing so. A few days later he came back and fished the job correctly and for a fair price. We will be happy to use TBP again for any future plumbing needs.

He was very friendly and considerate with me during the whole process. He got to work on our main system backup right away and was able to remedy it in 20 minutes! Alex M. was incredible! One of the most genuine, professional and kind men Ive met. Not only did we get sam!e day service but his work was impeccable. Our water heater was severely out of date, corroded, and had started to leak. Alex put in a new and more efficient hot water heater in less than 3 hours. That included updating our plumbing and adding an expansion tank. He took the time to show me the new additions, how the plumbing was improved, and how to operate our new tank. They quickly realized we had an issue that would affect the life of our new water heater. They worked with me to fix the additional issues and help me stay on budget. When we purchased our house ALL of the toilets were small and low to the ground. Joshua replaced some of those with adult size toilets and they look fantastic. We are pleased with his work. He arrived on time, gave us an estimate and stuck to the estimate even when he realized one of the toilets would need a little extra work. He was professional and took away all of his trash (boxes and packaging) and hauled away our old toilets. No complaints.

Dom the service technician and his trainee did a wonderful job. Very professional and friendly. They made me very comfortable having them in my home. The only problem I had was with the scheduler Shelby. She doubled booked my original appointment so it had to be rescheduled. I had to call to see why there was a hold up before my appointment was rescheduled She did not provide correct information to Dom about picking up the toilet for installation. This added more time to Don’s day because he had to go back and pick up the toilet.

When I called True Blue Plumbing the receptionist was friendly and helpful. She Said they could send a plumber out that day. Unfortunately I was busy, so they set up an appointment for the following day. That was great because I thought I’d have to wait at least a week.Before the technician arrived I received a text letting me know he was on his way. The text included a picture of the technician so I would feel safer knowing who it was at the door. I really appreciated that. Once here, The technician introduced himself. He wore a mask, which I thought was very polite. When I showed him the problem with our plumbing he knew exactly what to do. He wrote up a plan with three different options for us and explained each one to me. He didn’t make me feel pressured in anyway.When I chose which plan I wanted to go with he explained to me what he was going to do and how long it would take. He was able to do everything we need it done in just a few hours. I had forgotten to move some things out of the way and he cheerful he did it himself. I really appreciate how comfortable he made me feel with him here, and that he had everything he needed to fix the problem on his truck so I didn’t have to wait for him to come back on another day. I highly recommend this company.

The technician, Alex came out and was kind, professional, and really educated us on the problem, how to fix, and how to maintain. Alex shared the companies business model and how they work which was good to hear, they dont work off commission or anything like that, and really value the customer and the relationships they build. Will for sure use them again for any plumbing needs.

On 10/6 I called them to unclog my kitchen sink. They had done some extensive work for me in 2021, and the work they did and the customer service was awesome. So, when the technician arrived on 10/6, he was very professional, he unclogged my drain, but then told me that I would need some more work done with a price tag of $3,500. I told him ok and scheduled it for the following week. I then got another company to come out because to me it only looked like a grease buildup. The other companys technician said that I was right. I gave True Blue 4 stars because I didnt write this post to demonize the company, but to show that all technicians are not as knowledgeable as others, and its ok to get a second opinion, even if you do trust a company.

Cody used it as a learning experience! :) ) We got our basic plumbing issues fixed and decided to install a water softener system - cause lets face it! We live in KCMO with HARD water... do not regret that decision at all! And True Blue (and Cody) is now MY company to go to for plumbing!!! an added plus? Apparently, one of my neighbors was having plumbing issues, saw his truck - & he was back in the neighborhood, helping my neighbor the next day! :) btw ... Im not an idiot .... We noticed a puddle under our hot water heater Friday evening of Memorial weekend. We called & were able to setup an appointment & installation for Memorial Day. The plumber Alex called before he arrived & arrived within the appointment time window. When he arrived he identified everything that should be done before preparing an initial bid which is based on the job rather than by the hour. He also noted the plumbers are not paid on a commission so the initial bid process was straight forward with him not trying to push us into getting a higher commission sale. We looked in every once in a while & he would provide explanations as to why he was doing what he was doing. At the end he walked us through the strongly encouraged maintenance to extend the life of the hot water heater along with the breakdown of the bill. We have now found our first call for any of our plumbing needs & would hope that Alex would be the one who gets our job assignment. If any of our friends ask for a reference we will be suggesting True Blue Plumbing.

We were in the process of selling & during the inspection the buyer found a issue with the sewer. On a Sunday at 7:30 we sent a request on Angies list for a plumber to return my call. True Blue answered me in less than an hour and we got scheduled within a day. I met with Anthony and he was able to diagnose the problem and get me a quote. We had other quotes and not one of them offered to clean up after the repairs. Anthony was absolutely the best to work with. We decided to get a partial sewer replacement and a waterline fixed. He was great at communicating everything to us and even sent numerous pictures of the progress. They did such a great job of cleaning up and even worked on the weekends to get the job done!! Accessed my problem and gave two estimates as to what my cost would be depending on if he was able to unplug my toilet with the toilet snake or if he would have to remove and reinstall the toilet. He was able to unplug my toilet with the toilet snake. My toilet now works perfectly. What I truly appreciated was knowing what my cost would be prior to having any work done. As well as knowing there was no cost to me for the plumber to come out for an estimate. Other plumbing companies wanted between $48.00 and $98.00 just to come out and give me an estimate. My technician was Don, he was on time, professional, knowledgeable for the job at hand. Installed my water heater with no problems. The reason theres not five stars is the extra $300 labor charge that was tacked on to an automatic $675 labor fee. Which I was told the labor fee is for picking up the new water tank and them taking the old one away. Just adding a $50 expansion tank was charged at $150 and cutting two copper pipes shorter and adding couplers was an additional $150. Your labor should be what is stated. I had a kitchen faucet that broke and was soldered in to copper pipes. I have never sweated a pipe before and didnt want to get it wrong so I called True Blue to replace the faucet and set it up with quick connects so I can change the faucet out myself in the future. I received fantastic service. Anthony was able to give me an estimate on the phone that was spot on. On the day of the repair he called me to ask me if he could show up early! I also love that the company sends a text with a picture of the serviceman so I know who to expect when they show up at the door. I couldnt have asked for anything more from a plumber.

Chris showed up earlier than expected and replaced my old water heater. He did the job efficiently and had everything he needed to get the job done the first time. He was polite and the cost was A LOT cheaper than a quote I got from Bob Hamilton plumbing. I would recommend checking these guys out first. Anthony came out to help me with a bath tub spout and pipe I messed up in a wall, he definitely put my needs before his and I am very impressed. he could of took the easier route for himself by knocking out tile which would of cost me a more money by having to call a tile guy to come replace the tile, but instead he put the customer first and found a way to do the repair by crawling into a small cabinet on the backside of the wall and was able to cut an access panel and fix it from behind the back wall instead of knocking out tile from the front. He saved me hundreds of not a thousand on getting a tile guy out. Anthony also was very pleasant to chat with during the process, he didn’t mind me lurking over his shoulder and was happy to educate me (as a new homeowner) on some plumbing for beginners. Anthony is the definition of a professional with OUTSTANDING customer service. True blue plumbing should definitely do whatever they can to keep Anthony on their team he definitely made their company look like the real deal!

I had a new power vented water heater installed through Home Depot and True Blue was their local contractor. I had received several quotes and selected this option due to the quality of the product, competitive price and the solutions offered by True Blue. This was not a run-of-the-mill install, as we had to add a power-venting method out of an old house. Many scenarios and possible solutions were reviewed along the way with a number of bidders, but Devin came up with the best possible way to achieve the best results with the least disruption to the house. Woke up this morning to a rusted floor of my water heater. Went through Home Depot because I have an account there. True Blue was the company they contracted for the install, and Im glad they did. They sent a courteous gentleman named Micheal. Micheal was the complete professional, explaining everything he was having to do step-by-step and why he was doing it. Gave me some tips on what to do to prolong the life of my house and my equipment. Wasnt a huge shocker to learn he was trained as a union plumber. I woke up without hot water on February 8th and realized my water heater wasnt working. I called 4 or 5 local plumbing businesses. Each one either didnt answer, didnt respond to my message until the next week, or wanted a ridiculous amount of money just to show up. A friend recommended True Blue. I called, left a message and 10 minutes later the owner, Devin York, called me back. I told him my problem and within a couple of hours, he had one of his guys at my place. The guy was professional, explained everything and was quick. I paid a very reasonable amount for labor. The new water heater (Rheem) was supplied and saved me more time and headache because I didnt have to run around town trying to find one. Anthony was very polite, patient and thorough. He gave me two options for the repair. One option was a less expensive short term fix. The far more expensive option was to completely replace the sump pump, back-up pump and battery. Anthony assured me that the current pump will continue to function for a while giving me time to discuss this with my husband. This says a lot about Anthony, not pressuring me to make a decision on the spot. I will call True Blue for future plumbing needs and I will request that Anthony does the work.

Chris diagnosed some wet subfloor, replaced toilet flange and was able to put in a new laundry box. Very professional and thoughtful about cutting dry wall to diagnose. Due to an issue with a leak in a laundry box valve, suggested a replacement. Was not pushy at all about it. Did his work quickly and cleaned up after himself. Would not hesitate to hire this company again! More reliable than my local plumber and about as expensive.

I called TrueBlue plumbing because I had heard of a great plumber named Anthony. My friend and I had just installed a bathtub and shower in our second floor bathroom. Right after we installed, I had no water coming out of my new shower/bath fixtures.
