    Called on a Monday night past 7 not even expecting an answer. I was able to connect with Chase and explained that my current water tank was leaking. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind over the phone and I cancelled my appointment with Top Notch first thing in the morning. Cooper came out the next day and was able to replace my tank! He did a phenomenal job and addressed the pressure issue that our old tank was having. Also bonus points for navigating our crawl space! I’ll definitely recommend this company to everyone I know!

    Anthony heating and plumbing came to do a plumbing inspection. I advised their technician that our hot water heater was over twenty years old, I knew it was way past time for a new unit. But our older hot water heater was still working and not leaking, I was trying to buy time to plan the replacement as money is tight due to other repairs. Well despite telling the technician he tried to flush our old tank, which caused it to leak from the drain spout essentially making the replacement necessary now rather than later. I didn’t appreciate how they forced me to do a replacement. So I contacted KC water heaters. Chase got back to me right away, even despite being out of town with his family. He got me a quote and scheduled very quickly. Chase and Cooper called the day of appointment and showed up on time. They were very knowledgeable, fast and affordable. They were patient with all my questions and explaining everything they were doing during the installation. I can honestly say that they care about their customers which is rare. I can’t recommend them enough. I agree with others that they are an A+++ company that should be modeled after.

    Cooper came to our home and installed a new water heater for us. I cant say enough good things about the whole process! They were fast (called Thursday and they were here on Friday), super affordable (saved me at least $1,500 from other companies quotes), and did an excellent job. Cooper was knowledgeable, kind, professional, and all-around a perfect contractor. On the day of our install, he found out I was paying another company to do a new main shut-off replacement, and he told me he could easily add that on for $400 LESS than the other company was going to charge. He even took 5 minutes to help my husband with another unrelated project, just out of his own kindness. We are very happy customers and so glad we had KC Water Heaters out!

    So glad to have Yelp and Google for business reviews. Found KC Water Heaters on Yelp with 5-star ratings. Contacted the owner (Chase) on Christmas Eve(Sunday) after discovering no hot water and unable to light the pilot. Chase stated he would be here 9:00am Tuesday morning.After performing reviews on our current Whirlpool water heater, could not find a positive review for the unit, so decided no matter what the problem, would have a new one installed. Contacted Chase again to let him know to bring a new unit.Chase arrived on time and right off could tell he was very personable, professional and respectful of property. After going over the Whirlpool unit, he agreed it was time to install a new one. What gave me full confidence is his knowledge of the water heater unit operations, venting, chimney importance(flue through chimney) and root cause of the rust(and how to prevent it in the future) which had accumulated on top of the unit. Another factor was the expansion unit which was totally rusted, preventing water from entering. The goal of Chases satisfaction was to make sure we were totally satisfied with the install, all questions answered and stepped us through the new unit controls, etc. He uses Bradford White water heaters which are highly rated. Chase is a perfectionist, making sure the unit is level, good drainage and secured a couple copper lines which had broken away from the rafter. I will recommend KC Water Heaters to anyone knowing Chase is the template by which all business owners should follow in outstanding customer service.

    After seeing a small trickle of water in the basement at our hot water heater location, I contacted my usual contact for HVAC issues and they responded quickly. They confirmed that I had a problem. And provided a proposal for a replacement heater. We have a two tank system. Their price was high, I thought, so I called KC Water Heaters and spoke with the owner, Chase,who wanted to see some phone pictures of my system. The reviews on NextDoor app was quite good.After a lot of questions and discussion, a proposal for a solution was in my email box.     Absolutely outstanding. This is an owner/operator. He is running a small business and does great work. The guy you speak with on the phone is the guy putting in your water heater. I researched pricing and other services provided in the area and KC Water Heaters was the best option. He charged me hundreds less for parts than others and worked on the job until it was done right. The install of my water heater ended up being a longer job due to the age of the home, the vents and the piping. KC Water Heaters ensured everything was squared away. He even checked his work - noticed a small leak in a fitting. He took extra time and effort to make sure it was PERFECT. This is clearly an individual who cares about his business and customers.     Transparent, Honest, and Reliable.Those are the words I use to describe my experience with Chase. He took the time to provide me unique and in-depth consultation about my specific situation, informed me about all potential options, and was transparent about the pros and cons of each. Chase and his colleague removed my 9 year old gas tank water heater and replaced it with a new gas tank water heater for $1645 (just as the pricing indicates on his website). My only complaint is that he was unable to identify the exact problem with my existing unit, which is why we had to replace the entire thing (still, the unit was already almost 9 years old). Regardless, he took time to install a new regulator and expansion tank with the new unit. I definitely recommend this company!

TLDR; Above and beyond work for a great price, with friendly and timely service. 6/5 Stars.I had a 17 year old water heater, that while still working, was giving off the sulfur smell from time to time. I hit up Chase, who did his due diligence before the job to make sure I actually needed a replacement, instead of immediately selling me a full replacement.During the replacement, he diagnosed and replaced all other parts of the gas and water lines that needed updates, as well as fixing the exhaust venting. He also spent the time to explain all this work to us so we could understand the system for future maintenance.

    As the owner/operator of KC Water Heaters, Chase’s level of professionalism, courteousness and quality of work cannot be beat. I reached out with exactly what my problem was and what I was looking for. I received a response 2 hours later on a Sunday night. His communication was very upfront and the price he gave me for the estimate was good for the quality of work and product I wanted. He called ahead and was on-time and got right to work. Even the smallest details were not overlooked. I probably slowed his work down quite a bit by chatting, but he still finished in under 3 hours. The job was perfect. Big box stores have their time and place, but if you want to support a local craftsman, professional and small business owner, Chase at KC Water Heater is the one to call.

    I emailed them pictures of my existing 1998 water heater for a quote on Friday. I received the quote the next day and it was FAR better than any other quote I got from the big local companies. Not to mention Chase did not try to convince me to buy a bunch more products/services like the big companies. They got me in the following Tuesday morning. Chase and his apprentice showed up right on time. Super nice guys, got everything (including water pressure regulator install) done in about 2 hours, cleaned up everything and were on their way. Very impressed with them and highly recommend them.

    A excellent, locally owned business that obviously takes pride in the service they provide. Called to schedule an appointment to replace 15 year old water heater and got a callback within 30 minutes; spent a good 10+ minutes talking with Chase. Installation is very clean with new hard piping replacing flex cable on the gas line, T branch installed for the humidifier water feed, PRV installed downstairs, and an expansion tank tucked neatly away. Was right on time and had us back up and running in no time.Very knowledgeable and answered all of the questions I had.

    Outstanding. Excellent reviews were found on next-door. Our 40 gallon hot water tank was starting to leak after 24 years! We upgraded to a 50 gallon tank and got a professional RUDD tank. The cost of installing a new hot water tank has blown up over the last 24 years in large part due to new codes regulations. However, we got a very good total price on this new 50 gallon tank and installation by Chase. Very efficient, friendly and honest. I can see why there are such rave views on Nextdoor.

    I dont often write reviews, but trust me, these guys are the real deal. Contractors must really EARN these remarks, and let me tell you -- Chase and Cooper are fantastic!! Their work, honesty, communication, knowledge and overall responsiveness were unlike anything I typically experience in the industry (as a realtor, I work with contractors every single day). They exceeded my expectations and did so in a timely fashion. They met their bid, answered all of our questions and quickly returned to make a small tweak to our system (it was a personal request, nothing they had done incorrectly). They were clean throughout the process (no debris left behind, no destruction to the home), left the work site in great shape, and worked quickly.     Chase did a great job, exactly what he promised, when he promised. He educated me on what caused my water heater to fail and by replacing a failed expansion tank and a failed pressure regulator he saved me replacing the 2nd water heater. He did all that for MUCH LESS MONEY than anybody else I contacted. In fact he replaced all the other parts for less money that other servicers wanted just for the water heater alone. A+ for service, knowledge, and integrity. Hard to find good help, but he is an example.

    I explored several options for water heater installation, and KC Water Heaters gave me the most reasonable quote by far. Chase responded to my emails very quickly and was easily available for installation within a few days of my inquiry. Not only did Chase give me an honest evaluation of my best option, he went above and beyond by ensuring I knew how to use my water shutoff valve if necessary and offering to send me information for a necessary tool. He ended up installing an easily accessible valve for me since mine is apparently difficult to get to. He finished the hot water heater installation within two hours and it looks great! Instead of recommending more expensive repairs or replacements to the system, he patched up a few areas completely free of charge. He finally made sure that I understood the important details of the heater. Chase is an honest worker who does an outstanding job! He told me this is his only focus, so he definitely knows his stuff. I would highly recommend!

    Just had chase out to our house to replace a water heater. I called around and found that Chases price was competitive. I was really impressed with his knowledge regarding the repair. Before doing the job he looked at our setup and gave me a recommendation on what should be done.     Its been 8 months since I got them replaced my old water heater and it is working good since then. Chase was willing to giving estimate based on the pictures of my existing component, explaining whats needed for the new installation and what can still work. Their pricing was lower than other large company in the market. The installation was neat, everything cleaned out after completion. He also explained to me how the atmosphere draft type of heater suffer when there is negative air pressure in the basement, and how my old unit is suffering from top panel rusted out. Adequate new air for the combustion, suggested me to install air louver allow air from the finished basement to supply new air.About the Bradford brand heater he installed, I think it is good, we got 6 people showering same night(not concurrent) and hotter water did not run out.

I called multiple places on Sunday morning, and Chase was one of the few who would offer me a replacement estimate over the phone with several options.     Call Chase now - dont even waste looking at other options for water heaters.Our water heater went out, and I first tried a larger name company in town - that was a quick mistake after they quoted an outrageous amount. I called KC Water Heater at 9 am and after speaking with Chase on the phone and receiving an estimate much lower than the local competitors I hired Chase. While our house and the old water heater were only about 7 years old, the water heater was having some overheating issues and new thermostats didnt fix it, so we went with a new heater.     After 3 months of limping along with cold or semi-warm showers, we finally got our tank replaced for HALF of what other companies estimated. Chase not only installed the new 50 gal tank with expansion tank, but also new flues for both the water heater and furnace and a new PRV. There was no more waiting as all the work was also completed upon his initial visit. The work performed was exceptional and Chase was able to answer every question. KC WATER HEATERS has our full and unequivocal recommendation. By working with a smaller company, we saved paying overhead costs and we were able to work with a professional who takes a substantial personal investment in his work. With minimal maintenance, we know well have a washer heater to last us a very long time.

    Excellent job! Professional, courteous, and affordable. The other six companies I got quotes from were over priced and I was preparing to replace the water heater myself. KC Water Heaters was the last estimate. The quoted price was within my expectations for a water heater replacement so I hired KC Water Heaters. Chase ended up replacing a gas shut off, replaced the flexible gas pipe with hard pipe to new unit, and rotated my existing Y vent to meet distance from combustible material using my existing single walled vent saving me over a hundred dollars. Other companies wanted to charge me for double walled venting. Both solutions meet code but Chases solution reused existing vent and saved me over hundred dollars. I would refer KC Water Heater with confidence for any water heater replacement job.

    Recently had a KC HVAC company that drives the pink trucks around town (which I had a service contract with for annual inspections) give me a hard sell on my hot water heater being near end of life and recommending that I replace it ASAP.     I cant say enough good things about KC Water heater. Our home was built in 2009 and an AO Smith water heater was installed. 2 days ago, the old water heater developed a leak on the top of the unit and was spraying water all over our utility room. The old heater was under warranty but we were told that the labor portion of the replacement was our responsibility. We were quoted a $600 service fee and the new heater would only have the balance of the old warranty. Additionally, it would take 5-7 to get the new heater in.I then contacted KC Water Heater. We discussed possible options. Chase was extremely knowledgable and educated us about water pressure, expansion tanks and hybrid savings. We decide on the hybrid and he installed it that day!In addition to his knowledge and expertise, Chase is a true professional. He contacted me later to let me know that his truck may have leaked some oil on my driveway and wanted to make it right. My husband and I have considerable work done on our house this year and lots of unrelated damage. KC Water Heater is the only contractor to acknowledge the damage and offer to fix it.     Chase Thompson, owner of KC Water Heaters, is a master plumber with a fuel gas certification. Chase replaced our two 15-year old gas water heaters with two new Bradford White tanks. The fuel gas certification is important to us since we know that a lot of houses do not have proper venting. Sure enough our old tanks had the melted plastic evidence of prior backdrafts. We spent time with him discussing various tank options as well as different configurations for plumbing setup. We decided on a reverse return plumbing setup as recommended by the tank manufacturer (Bradford White). We had other quotes from more well-known plumbing companies but they recommended the more well-known parallel or in series setups even with Bradford White units. Im not sure they know reverse return setups. Chase installed the manufacturer-recommended plumbing setup and increased the size of the vents to properly handle the exhaust and be compliant with code. He gets city permits on his jobs. He also replaced the PRV valve which was old and not providing adequate water pressure. He was at the house for 6-7 hours and worked hard the entire time with no breaks. He is very knowledgeable and easy to speak with, and all he does is water heaters, so youre working with an expert. I highly recommend him.

    I will be honest, I saw these reviews and thought there was no way they could be real. To good to believe. But I emailed him asking about water heaters and he was so helpful and actually has a full database of water heaters he has replaced and their quality. He responded to many Emails and I finally scheduled an appointment.He was on time and also so polite and professional. He fixed a bad connection to my humidifier because he noticed it was on the wrong pipe. He did not need to do it but still did. And he quotes his price upfront with tax included.I have lived in this house 24 years and have never had a better experience.

    Whoa! These guys did an amazing job replacing my water heater. Very knowledgeable, honest, and personable. Not only was their pricing better than what I got from Home Depot and Lowes, but their evaluation and service was TOP-NOTCH! They really put extra effort into their service - such as putting on shoe covers before walking on your carpet, carefully maneuvering the water heaters to prevent damage onto your property, and providing small details / feedback on any other concerns that they see.     If you have read the other reviews like I did you should be calling Chase right now! Hands down, the best service I have ever received. Not only did he do an amazing job at a reasonable price, he found an issue with my existing hvac system and even called them to notify them of the problem after they told me there was nothing wrong.     Chase just came out to my home after I found an issue early this morning. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his area of expertise. I would say around 10% higher than some other estimates, but honestly, the quality was great and he walked me through the entire process. You can also tell he takes a lot of pride in doing things the right way. Let me tell you what I loved, absolutely loved about this guy. He is very detail oriented and courteous with making any mess. As hes cleaning up, he opens our front door and it sticks a little bit. After 4 encounters with the door, I hear a power drill and 3 mins later my door is fixed and I think he was more happy than we were. Ill call him everytime

    This company is great. Chase and his son were very professional and really helped me out.     I recently decided to replace our 15 year old water heater once I heard the new regulations were going into effect. I called Chase and he provided me all the information I needed to determine what size water heater would be right for the house.     Chase is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Honestly the best experience Ive had with hiring a home service contractor. Not only did he do exactly as he said, and charged the exact price quoted over the phone, he also educated me throughout the process on ways that I can prolong the life of my new water heater. I had no idea about water main pressure and the reason for adding a pressure reducing valve and expansion tank. He also went above and beyond and fixed some duct work that had nothing to do with his installation! Theres no reason for me to look anywhere else moving forward.     Our water heater went out finally after 27 years. I called Chase on a Sunday and he spoke with me over the phone and thoroughly went over all of the options/prices I would have to either bandaid fix the problem on our own or replace the unit. We chose to replace the unit and he came out the next day after 5 and worked until after 8 PM which I consider extreme dedication to the job. He was very thorough in explaining some issues we were having and also gave us a few referrals for furnace and electric work we also needed. He was CONSIDERABLY cheaper than anyone else around town and he was honestly one of the nicest people Ive had come to my house for work and really took the time to explain what was going on in the house. Oddly enough, my parents water heater went out at their house the next day and I immediately referred them to Chase.
