I began having Midwest Heating and Cooling take care of my service in 2022 and have only have great experiences with their employees. Robert goes the extra mile to be sure things are done right completing the annual maintenance. Terry and Hayden just installed a new humidifier on my furnace and I am very happy with their work, very knowledgeable and kind. Clean up after every job is better than when they arrived. I am scheduled for a new hot water heater this month so I will have the opportunity to work with another side of the company, looking forward to it as much as I regret needing to replace my hot water heater. Their prices are better than average and lower then most.

Craig and Sam completed the install in a timely manner, making sure all of our questions were answered. Everyone at Midwest was super friendly and helpful, especially considering this was my first large HVAC purchase. Its a family owned business that cares about the customer!

Josh, the technician, was very cordial and seemed very knowledgeable of his trade. Explained the situation in great detail. He told me I was in need of a new compressor and that it would cost me close to $1600 to install and another $2000 for Freon. I shared that information with my nephew who owns an HVAC business in another state. He was alarmed at what they had intended to charge for Freon. Existing Freon from the old unit could be captured and reused in the new compressor because it has not left the property. Josh mentioned that it would take approximately 10 pounds of Freon to charge the new system. My nephew informed me that they probably buy a 30 pound pig of Freon for approximately $130. He would have never charged nearly that much to one of his clients.

Weve been customers over 30 years and Midwest Heating Cooling & Plumbing has provided excellent maintenance and repair of our original heating and cooling systems during that time, as well as replacement of two entire system when we decided to switch to the newer variable output models. They respond promptly to urgent needs, like furnace failure during a cold snap. Routine service calls are on time. I highly recommend them.

I made a change in my heating & cooling company that Ive used for years. I generally go with a yearly service contract to take advantage of its perks and benefits. Based on reviews that I researched online, I selected Midwest Heating & Cooling...and glad I did!My first fall/winter service was a very positive experience; Tom Hunter arrived on time just as promised and performed the fall service. I was very happy with his technician talents and knowledge. No upsell techniques from Tom; he had a good idea about summer cooling settings for us as it came up in a discussion. We have two systems in our home due to our total square footage. He serviced both units and checked our whole house humidifier. Part of the service was replacing the evaporator pad.I would recommend this company for sure after my positive first experience with them!

We had to call after hours as our AC wasn’t blowing out cold air. This of course happened right before we were hosting a party of 30 people in our house… on a 90 degree day! The tech on that day called us back in a timely manner and then talked us through a few things. He then came to our house within an hour and had the system up and running in 10 minutes. He was a super nice guy. Our party was a success and part of the reason is because the ac was on! I was super impressed with the timeliness and friendliness of the service. Would definitely recommend !

As a single mother caring for a disabled son, I found myself in panic mode when my air conditioning went out. My son cant regulate his own body temperature, so having AC is necessary when it is so hot outside. I called several companies, but Midwest Heating and Cooling went above and beyond for me. They got to my house fast, got a great price for a new system, and had top-notch customer service. I highly recommend them. I really cried when they said how they could help me after a week of bids from other companies, stress worried about my son and his health concerns. I havent even mentioned the sales rep. He was so kind and honest. The technicians are amazing. They definitely went above and beyond! These are the kind of people I will always want my business with. Thank you!!(Also, I got a new system and increased from 3 ton to 3.5. My bill on electricity is down more than $100 a month now. Good quality system)

I asked for a supervisor. We got a good one. Our problem is with the ducting. It gets too cold down stairs. Your representative recommended some new duct controls, and we agreed. Your company will probably schedule us for Monday.I then asked the supervisor to look at our thermostat, which was installed when we got all new HVAC from your company. The thermostat quit connecting to our Wi-Fi network after a storm. None of your regular technicians has an answer. The supervisor communicated with his colleague and was advised to check the time and date on the thermostat. He updated it to the correct time and date. It now works. Way to go!

Midwest just replaced my 20-year old furnace and air conditioner with new Lennox equipment. The pricing was clear and competitive, with several options offered and professionally explained. The work was done promptly and neatly, and passed city code inspection the next day. My experience with Midwest maintenance services in the past has been very satisfactory, also, after I switched from a national company takeover of another local provider that mostly meant high pressure sales tactics. I recommend using locally owned HVAC providers, and Midwest is at the top of that list.

Technician arrived on time. Received call that he was on the way about 10 minutes prior. As part of my annual HVAC maintenance agreement he checked the blower, checked and replaced the air filter, checked humidifier and replaced the medium, checked the burner, controls, and exhaust fan and switches. Found an issue with the exhaust fan and fixed it, and reset the inside air discharge vents for winter. I have used Midwest for over 12 years now for water heater, heating and cooling services, and have been very pleased with the quality of their work and responsiveness.

Tech even called later to ensure the house was cooling/etc. Midwest has done all my A/C/heat work - they installed in our new home ten years ago - and I will not let anyone else work on my system. Always super happy with their work.Always on time. Repairmen are personable and professional. Built my house new and Midwest installed the system. Lowry, Midwest Htg. & Clg, arrived as scheduled and provided the seasonal maintenance on our HVAC system. He discussed with us what he was performing. After preforming maintenance on the humidifier, Lowry informed us that it needed a new solenoid valve for the water service to operate properly and the humidifier to start up. Lowry obtained a price quote from the office, and we scheduled a date/time to replace the valve. Lowry followed up two days later with a new solenoid valve. He replaced it, ran some tests on the system, and we were good to go. Lowry is knowledgeable and skilled in his work as well as considerate and cordial in his interaction with us. Thats the service we have learned to expect and continue to receive from Midwest since our original installation by them in 1990.

I invited six different companies to provide proposals for the replacement of our main furnace/air conditioning unit, which had served us well for more than 30 years.Greg Latshaw, one of Midwests Comfort Advisors, came to our home and carefully measured and inquired about our needs. He spent a fair amount of time working on three separate recommendations for a system, based on various levels of efficiency. He was one of the few whose proposal included details about rebates from Evergy and the equipment manufacturer, Lennox in this case.After carefully comparing the six proposals, Midwest came up to the top. None of the proposals were inexpensive, but Midwests proved to be the best value, in part because of the extra work Greg did to present rebates that helped mitigate the high cost somewhat.Our installers worked extremely well as a team. Each had his list of responsibilities, one working in the basement to remove the old furnace and coil, the other outside removing the old compressor, and then each working on installation of the new equipment. They then worked together to finish the details and test the system, and every aspect of their handiwork was done with pride...cables and drain hoses neatly installed and wire-tied for a very clean and professional final project.They had to return a few days later to install new thermostats that werent initally available, as well as new humidiers (including one for the existing smaller system that serves the upper level), and then return a third time when I requested a change, the installation of a wireless thermostat gateway. Each time they came they were right on time, which is something I value greatly and the primary installation was completely finished on the first day. They also made sure the floors and stairs down to the basement were covered when the old equipment was hauled out and the new brought in. And, they slipped on shoe covers every time they came in until those covers were laid down.So when its time to replace the smaller upstairs unit, I wont be calling six companies, but will call the best, Midwest! The Midwest tech recognized immediately that it only needed a repair and a temperature adjustment, saving us more than half the cost of the visit! Plus we still have an unused brand new water heater we can return/sell or whatever! They were TOP notch professionals from beginning to end and Id recommend them to everyone.

We purchased a new furnace/AC and water heater from Midwest. They hauled away all the old equipment, intalled the new equipment and left our basement cleaner than it was before. They were competent, knowledgeable and professional. We would recommend them to anyone. In fact, we recommended them to our next-door-neighbor and they had Midwest install a hot water heater the very next day. BTW: They had very competitive prices.

This is a great company. Have used the for 24 years and have been extremely happy with their work and advice. They have always been totally honest about what was the most cost affective solution that has the quality that we desire. Why go anywhere else?
