My wife and I had been planning a new bathroom in our basement for a few years. As anyone that has taken on a project like this worries, how do I pick the right contractor? Will their work be worth the money and will we regret our decision to go with this contractor. Well, if you are smart and want a job done that is above and beyond you expectations. Then don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call Preferred Plumbing. Matt and his team are the consummate professionals! As with every big project, there are some curveballs. Matt took them all in stride and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done and done right. Even when things that were out of his control went sideways. He was right there to make it right. Everything they did for us was first rate. And every one of his crew that came into our home were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. We recently purchased a home in the area. I called Preferred to replace the hot water heater and trouble shoot the boiler system. I could not be happier. The ladies in the office are polite and the service techs do good work and do a good job cleaning up. Great communication all around.

We recently discovered that the exhaust vent pipe from our water heater had become disconnected. The installer put in a pipe that was too short. I called Preferred Plumbing and explained the problem. One of their plumbers, Jamie, arrived five minutes later. Jamie was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He fixed the problem in no time at all and was on his way to his next job. No more worries about exhaust fumes! A big thank you goes out to Preferred Plumbing for their quick response time and quality work!

I highly recommend Preferred Plumbing and Heating. I texted Matt a description of my problem. Within minutes he had accepted and scheduled the job for a few days in the future. A few minutes later he texted and asked if he could send someone immediately. A few minutes later Jamey walked in the door. Jamey is a first round draft choice. He was timely, efficient, skilled, polite, and professional. One hour later he was cheerfully on to his next job. I could not have asked for a better plumbing experience.

Several times they have given me an initial time they will come for service, then call back soon after to reschedule at an earlier time! Brett and Rick have been my guys on multiple calls for plumbing, water heater replacement and heating/AC service. Some small, some big, always good. I would recommend them to anyone.

Water heater died. Needed new one ASAP. Called Preferred Plumbing because I have used them before. It was during lunch time so call went to voice mail. Call returned by Christi. Told her the problem. Got scheduled for 2:00-4:00 that afternoon. Wife is a nurse at the hospital. Needs to take shower before shift. Preferred Plumbing showed up early and got the job done in a short time. Wife was happy the finally take a hot shower before shift. Very happy with the job done and professionalism of the crew. Highly recommend.

Very fast professional service. Highly recommend Preferred Plumbing & Heating. We had a water leak coming from our water softener and they helped us troubleshoot how to bypass to stop the leak from getting worse. They came out right away with a new water softener that took care of the issue.

You wont find a better plumber than Jamie. He put in kitchen faucet with water filter and a garbage disposal.He also ran the water line to a new fridge through ductwork in the basement because there was no other choice. Showed me everything he was doing. Very professional guy. I will use him again

We called Preferred after our furnace went out. They sent a tech. to us very quickly. He diagnosed our problem within minutes, took measurements, made a few notes, and scheduled an appointment to get our new furnace installed ASAP. The install went smoothly just as advertised. They made sure our new furnace is sized more appropriately for our house than the old one was, so we burn less fuel and our house is noticeably more comfortable than before. Our price was very fair. Thanks to everyone involved with our install. We will definitely recommend Preferred to anyone in need of HVAC work.
