Shortly before Christmas I scheduled an appointment with Helmus Plumbing for some work at my home. Thomas came out on 12-19-23 and replaced a cracked toilet along with the shut off and supply line. He also replaced the fill valve and shut off valve on my upstairs toilet. He was pleasant and knowledgeable, and finished much sooner than I expected. I was very pleased with both the work and prices from Helmus, and I will be calling them soon for some additional work that I need done.

I woke up to standing water in my basement. Rich came out the same day and replaced my water heater. He was in and out in less than two hours. He even fixed the low water pressure in my bathroom sink! He was so respectful of my toddler napping. And was all around so great. I will be calling Helmus next time I have a plumbing issue for sure.

Thomas called ahead of the scheduled time to see if he could arrive early. Asked several detailed questions while on thw phone so he could arrive with the correct supplies. He was super nice and professional. Came in listened to my concerns. And immediately found the leak and checked another area I was concerned about. He explained what needed to be done to fix the issue. Then gave me some suggestions to help prevent mold growth on the damaged areas of wood. He set work and had the leak fixed in a jiffy. Also was able to give an approximate cost of further work I inquired about. Overall highly satisfied and will be scheduling more work soon.

We hired Helmus Plumbing for replacement of our old hot water heater as well as replacing a leaky sprinkler shut off valve. These guys were excellent. Their price was reasonable, they showed up on time, were friendly and respectful, did the job like professionals, were efficient (finished the job in 1.5 hrs - faster than they had estimated), explained what we needed to know, and made sure to check everything out before they left. They told us to call them if we see any issues. They stand behind their work.

Had an emergency pipe leak from the water pump, wasnt sure about the previous company I had come out and was referred to these guys!!The service guy was sort of quiet, but the work done was great!! He took everything apart, and then even moved pipping to compact the area! It looks nice and oriented and now Im assured it will last!! I couldnt believe the end price also! Im so glad I went with my instinct and called somebody else, let alone a reliable company I was referred too!!

These guys are tradesman who seem to really care about people and quality (not just wrench-turners /clock punchers). Danny specifically is really awesome to work with: always responsive and helpful. Everyone who has ever come to the house for a project or repair has been easy to talk to, professional, and I never felt like they were ripping me off. I like to do business with good people who I feel like I trust. The people at Helmus fit that bill perfectly. They shoot you straight, hometown prices, friendly, they get you in quickly... I never hesitate to call them.

We tried to fix some simple issues with YouTube advice and quickly got over our heads with both our showers.Danny made time to come over and see what our issues were. He fixed one shower the day after we called, he didnt have time to fix the other. Danny did give us advice on how to prep for his guys and save money by saving them time.Randy and his helper were great as well!We will recommend and use Helmus plumbing for any future issues.

Helmus plumbing did an excellent job replacing my garbage disposal and sink faucet! They were quick and kind and very knowledgeable! my dog especially enjoyed the extra friendly attention! Also, they recommend we fix our piping underneath the sink because they are not currently up to code (we didn’t know that when we bought our house) but reassured us there was an easy fix to make it code worthy! When it’s time for that project we know who to call to help us!
