    We thought we had an AC issue, and Great Lakes Plumbing confirmed on 7/8 that the AC was working fine but the blower on our 23 year old furnace was toast and was causing the isssues. We appreciated the honesty in the options they proposed. We decided it was time to replace the furnace vs replacing a 23 year old blower, and we received our quote that afternoon. We did our due diligence and did get two more estimates to compare. We determined the Great Lakes Plumbing quote was the best for us and it didnt feel like it was padded with extras (compared to others). We informed them on 7/15 we would like to get scheduled. To our delight (after 10 days of very high temperatures and no AC), they scheduled us for the replacement first thing on 7/16. Within a few hours, we had a new furnace installed and the AC was up and running. Everyone we worked with was very professional and thorough in their explanations and communications. We are very happy with the service.

    We have used Great Lakes several times for projects and have been satisfied. This weekend Alex came over on Saturday to save us from ourselves and the mess we made of trying to “just” switch out a faucet on our circa 1930’s sink. He was so friendly, professional, clear about pricing, and efficient. The last time we called off hours to a different plumber the cost was twice as much for the same problem. (I know- why didn’t we learn our lesson then? One of these days….) I highly recommend this team for your little and big plumbing needs!

Although seemingly more rare these days, as a business owner and as a consumer, I truly appreciate it.So a new water heater... Ugh. My usual plumber was out of town. Because I manage projects, contract for and refer business all the time to my clients, I have a fair number of plumbers (and other contractors) in my phone. Im also interested in expanding my referral network for just such an occasion when one contractor is unavailable, so I contacted two other plumbers. By one I felt completely dismissed, the other came down to logistics. So I called one more in my list; retiring and unable to perform the work, he referred me to a company I hadnt worked with before: Great Lakes Plumbing.Overall, I couldnt be happier with the service provided by Great Lakes Plumbing.     Im pretty handy and do a lot of the work on the house myself, but I hit a snag with the water heater and had to call someone and Great Lakes Plumbing took care of me--on a weekend, too. Fast, courteous service and we have hot water again. The next time we need a plumber, Ill call them first.

    Woke up on a Sunday with our basement full of water. Great Lakes Plumbing showed up quickly and fixed our sump pump and referred a restoration company to help with the clean up! Would highly recommend the team at Great Lakes Plumbing!!

    Always great service. First fixed our leaking tub. Informed us to call the maker to get the part for free rather than them charging us! Saved us a bunch! Weve had them replace our kitchen faucet and our water heater since. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Will chat with you about your issue even if you arent ready to proceed with repair. Highly recommend!!

    I called a plumber Wednesday about my toilet running. No problem, lady, we can put you on the schedule for next Wednesday. It was the best they could do. (Dan Wood Plumbing) OK...with a sigh. Wake up today to discover its running so much you cant get enough water in the tank to flush. Oh boy...let the good times roll. I called Dan Woods to see if they could come out today. Well..nope. How about Tuesday. Ah, no. So I started calling around asking for help. Everyone, but one, said nope... too busy. Great Lakes Plumbing said sure...and had the plumber call me when he was available (late afternoon/early evening). And he did!!! He came out and took care of the problem. I am so grateful to Great Lakes Plumbing and will be using them again as needed.

    We had our hot water heater unexpectedly fail today of course early in the morning, with water leaking from a crack in the tank and all. We called several other places and were told it would be weeks before anyone could come out. Thankfully, Great Lakes was able to fit us in same-day and they were out within six hours of calling. The two guys that came out were friendly, really efficient, and were just overall just really great. Even though the old water heater made a mess, they left our basement cleaner than when they arrived which is always appreciated and definitely does NOT always happen when having service completed. The brand of hot water heater also is good that they used being Lochinvar. We are really grateful they were able to fit us in considering we had no hot water, and had to shut off our water due to the sudden tank leak. We will definitely recommend them and keep them in mind for future needs!

    Excellent work. Not only did Ken do the necessary repairs, but he also replaced the burst hot water pressure line from the dishwasher with alot better line.     I called about a leak in our hot water pipe, and while they were very busy, since this was right after the COVID stay at home rule was modified to allow non-essential work, they got someone right over. Within 4 hours the plumber was here, repaired two leaks and was gone within 1 hour. The pipes work perfectly, the cost was reasonable and now I have hot water again! Hurray! Thank you Great Lakes Plumbing for your expedient and expert work. We are truly thankful.

    Truly impressed with the knowledge and professionalism they provided. Replaced our water heater and updated the ventilation for it. Tyler was very respectful on the phone and gave me an accurate quote. Our technician Eldon was very kind, experienced and understanding to our needs as a family that is high risk for serious complications if from COVID-19. He clearly knew what he was doing and cleaned up after himself. He also kept his mask on whenever possible. Very happy with the service and quality of this company.

    We had Great Lakes out to repair our 23 year old furnace. Mike the repairman was prompt, efficient and friendly. He answered all of our questions and we were very happy with the service provided. This was our second time using Great Lakes.

    Dave T called 20 minutes ahead to let me know he was coming. I later learned that is company policy and appreciated the call as I was still at work and had a chance to run home to meet him at the house. Dave quickly discovered we had a faulty solenoid, stopping water to reach the humidifier. He had necessary parts with him at also made sure that the humidifier worked correctly and with a new pad before he left. I would not call any other company for my HVAC repair or replacement needs.Great Lakes Plumbing - Heating and Cooling installed a new Trane furnace along with an air-to-air heat pump/ AC unit a couple of years ago and we have been very happy both during cooling and heating seasons. The air exchanger was not that much more than a regular AC unit and has saved us on our heating bills. Anytime the air temperature is above 36 degrees F the heat pump is our primary heating source and works even during sunny days on cool winter days.

    The guys who came out for a furnace maintenance were so incredibly kind and helpful!! I don’t know anything about this stuff and they answered my questions, took me to the furnace to show me some things, and were understanding and thoughtful. I used a Groupon, never using this company before. But I will again for all my heating, AC, and plumbing needs. Outstanding customer service!

    Excellent & Outstanding service! I knew I had the right place once I made the call and they came out the same day! The technician diagnosed the problem right away and completed the job in a very timely manner. The receptionist who took the call was very knowledgeable about the cost and even offered to allow me to speak to a plumber for questions prior to the visit- NOW that is great service! I would HIGHLY recommend this company. I will ALWAYS have this company as my go to for any issues.

    If I could give them a 10 I would. Amy in the office was so friendly and informative, got me in when I needed and answered all my questions. The day of the job, what ever could go wrong did. Ken and Cord were AMAIZNG, they took care of it all. They were friendly, professional and even interacted with my Pets and child. I cant say enough good things about the two men who came to work at my house! Thank you for turning a bad situation around and making it work!!!!

    They stand by there work! 2 months after having Great lakes do some plumbing work in our bathroom we found a leak. They came out right away and fixed the issue.

    I called to have anchor bolts (toilet to floor) replaced and fix a leaky toilet shut-off value. It turned out that more work was needed than expected. As it happened a flange was needed to replace what had been present under the toilet (probably from 50 years ago). Ernie took care of the job and left the bathroom as clean as it was before he came.
