    We noticed a gas smell in our house so we called Bannister. Brandon and Clayton showed up when they said they would and went to work. They found the leak inside the wall and took care to cut the wall out in a way that would make it easier to repair. Brandon realized the danger of the situation and stayed late to get it fixed. These guys are so professional and personable. They went out of their way to take care of us and we appreciate it so much. Brandon is a great person.     I couldn’t have asked more a more pleasant and wonderful experience!! Branden was amazing and I explained everything in detail and communicated everything before he did it!! Showed me live digital feeds inside the pipes!! If you’re into your faith, and I am, he even prayed with me when they were done. He had an excellent apprentice in Michael, and he was amazing, too!! I truly believe God brought me together with these two!! Bottom line is He does exceptional work and does it right the first time!!

    We have used Bannister on a complete down to the stud remodel on our home, as well as for several other projects. In our opinion, this is one of the most capable, professional, and caring companies in the East Texas area. Their service and expertise are impeccable and if you need the best, I recommend them above any other plumbing and air company around. We were taken care of today by Zachary as lead, and assisted by Clayton. Zachary is the consummate professional and extremely concerned about customer satisfaction. Clayton is lucky to have Zachary as his mentor. Their expertise, and professionalism is what we have come to expect from Bannister Plumbing.

    Awesome experience from the first call. Ladies at the office pulled my name up from previous time and had all my info right in front of them. Same day service as well fixed the same day. They also went out of there way to get the parts delivered from Tyler since they did not have it on the truck and my issue was fixed. Another thing that I highly respected, I love the fact that they had Christian music on while I was on hold while they were checking my warranty and all. It says something huge about who they are. You dont see a lot of companies doing that now days. Not many businesses have the guts to do that anymore due to having to worry about what some people would say or think.

    I called in a panic. Both sides of my kitchen sink and dishwasher were not draining, causing flooding in my kitchen. They got to me the same day and sooner than the time window they gave me when i called. Both guys were very professional and explained everything clearly. They offered me a 1 year no clog warranty that I signed up for, for peace of mind. Im probably going to sign up for the star club they offer when they come back Thursday to fix a pipe in my wall. I live in an old house and I had to call them out again after they fixed other plumbing issues in this old house. I trust them I love that they honor the first quoted price and they dont go up in price. The men who have come have always been very nice and courteous. I called them with an emergency my whole entire house was backed up two days ago they came out yesterday and now I can wash clothes dishes and take showers.

    Bannister installed all of our plumbing for our new building, so we gave them a call when we started experiencing some issues with our restrooms. I was very impressed from the start with Barbaras courteous & professional demeanor on the phone. They scheduled us for between 8 and 11, but called at 7:55 to let us know the tech, Branden, was on his way. He arrived promptly & introduced himself immediately. He was very knowledgeable & explained everything in detail, even showing me 1st hand what the issue was. We will not call anyone else for our plumbing issues! You guys have an amazing team!

    Scott B. came out and did a plumbing inspection for me, flushed out my water lines, and flushed out my water heater. He did find some problem areas and gave me several different pricing scenarios which was extremely helpful in making a decision on what to tackle first. As always, Bannister’s tech had fantastic customer service and he heard me out on my objections without treating me like I didn’t know what I was talking about (had pre-spoken to some friends in the business in different states). The ONLY reason I didn’t give the full 5 stars was because I do feel that Bannister is a little higher priced, but they do have great customer service and that means a lot.

    At the end of 2023 we purchased an older but remodeled home, however long story short, the cast iron pipes in the concrete foundation were leaking, causing 3/4 of our home to flood! We met with a leak detection plumber out of the Dallas area and he said the pipes needed to be replaced - ugh! Although we didn’t get a good feeling from that particular company so that began our very long journey to find a Specialty Plumber that we felt knew what they were doing! After several months, we finally found the best in East Texas - Bannister Plumbing out of Jacksonville, Texas. Bannister has a product that lines the existing cast iron pipes which prevented them from having to dig up our entire foundation!! THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING AND WE DEFINITELY FELT COMFORTABLE THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT!! We met with their top specialist Jonathan Garcia-Zavala and Ryan his Technician and these guys were so great!! We are so grateful to be in such great and knowledgeable hands!!8/29/24 UpdateOur plumbing issues are completed and working great!! Today Roy and his crew Carlos and Edwardo came back to complete the final phase of our repairs by replacing the sewer pipe that goes from our home 175 feet to the city line.     We recently replaced our ac and furnace. They were very professional. Spencer was a great salesman and helped us decide on our new unit. After the install we initially had an issue with the thermostat not working properly. They sent the install service Manager Brad to help us figure out the problem. He sent some techs to figure it out. They replaced the thermostat with a different one and so far the unit is working wonderful! We greatly appreciate the attentiveness that they displayed in helping us fix the issue. I would recommend them to anyone needing ac/heating or plumbing help. They are good people who do great work.     Bannister Plumbing & Air has been our go to company for all our plumbing and HVAC needs. Roxanne at the office has been very helpful with setting up the appointments and accommodating our requests for a specific time. Kirby has done various plumbing jobs for us and also installed our waterpurification system.Before the system was installed we had a free consultation with Kirby during which he explained the process to us and also answered all our questions.Our HVAC has been tended to by Christian. He gave us a very good advice on improving the air quality in our house and uponhis recommendation we had our ducts cleaned and an HVAC UVlight installed. The work was performed by Christian and JosePepe and they did a very thorough job.     *Ask about their Star Club Membership, now before its too late.First and foremost, plumbing technicians and plumbers in general are in short supply. Its hard to hear that it may take a few days before anyone can get to your issue. No company wants to tell you to wait several days.When I first called Bannister Plumbing it was a shot in the dark after finding that my service pipe going into my home had a leak. The normal company I had used prior was not available until the following Wednesday. Bannister was also not available for normal service until the following Wednesday. Bannister offered their emergency service which does have an additional fee over the normal diagnostic fee. Their Technicians ended up finishing a prior job early, and notified me they could be at my home in 30 minutes, and arrived on time. (Same Day that I called)They verified where the leak was coming from and quoted me a price for the entire Job, and not by the hour. They finished replacing the failed part fast, and it ended up taking more time for the glue to dry then for them to replace the part. Service was courteous and professional. For prompt same day service I found the pricing to be more than fair.Update: 06.30.2024It was Friday evening a little after 7:00 PM when I noticed that it was warmer than it should be, the thermostat concurred. I went outside an heard the outdoor condenser unit making a high pitched noise. I turned the unit off and called Banister Plumbing and air at 7:28 PM. Their after hours technician Jason returned my call and informed me what the up front costs would be, and that he was currently at another customers call, and I agreed to have him come and diagnose the issue. He informed me that he would not be able to get to me until around 9 PM.Jason arrived around 9:00 PM and verified that the condenser units fan had failed. I was quoted a price and agreed to the repair. Jason completed the repair and the AC started cooling the house immediately after he was finished. It took around an hour to replace the fan and verify that the unit was working again.Thanks again to Banister Plumbing and air for their quick (same day) response and professionalism, that we did not have to go a weekend of 90+ degree heat with a heat index of 106 that Sunday.I will be contacting Bannister Plumbing and Air on Monday to signup with their Star Club Membership.*Again I do remind readers that there is a fee for emergency after hours calls, and they will tell you this ahead of time.

    We have used Bannister Plumbing for a variety of home plumbing needs over the past several years. I’ll be quite frank, the quality of work rendered can be somewhat variable at times, as they employ plumbers with a range of skill levels, professionalism and experience within their stable (pretty much the case with all larger plumbing businesses these days). Regardless, as a business, they do stand behind their work and will correct any errors made or address any issues of customer dissatisfaction should there be an issue. I have worked several times with one of their senior plumbers, Zach (who I personally give 5 stars to) and will say that he is both an excellent plumber and is very easy and pleasant to work with. He’s honest and fair to boot. He truly seems to embody the customer service and work ethic that I believe Bannister tries hard to uphold. All in all, I would definitely recommend Bannister for your plumbing needs, but would say that if you do have any concerns with the quality of their work, do not hesitate to contact their manager Zach (different from their plumber Zach) and he will ensure that they meet your needs and complete the job to your satisfaction.

    If I could give Scott at Bannister Plumbing an 11, I would. He did a great job replacing our water heater in the attic; no mess, no spills, no dented walls. Also he replaced the leaky faucets in our master bath. Great service, skilled worker.

    Kurt was incredible! Kurt took the time to carefully listen to the problem weve been having with our heater that the installing HVAC company had never been able to figure out. Within minutes Kurt identified and seems to have corrected the problem. He took the time to explain to me the problem and how he fixed it. He tested everything, adjusted thermostat and didnt leave until he made sure we were completely satisfied. Outstanding!

    After fighting with my home warranty one getting my ac unit replaced I gave up on them and called Bannister. Best decision ever!! every single person I talked to was so amazing and kind! I had my whole unit and duct work replaced and everything went to smoothly and quick! The crew at my house was so great and cleaned up after themselves so well! you couldnt even tell i just had people in my house working. i would 100% recommend them for any of your AC needs!!
