We have had multiple experiences with Preferred Home Services and each one has been great. The first time we had to have a toilet replaced. The technician was quick and efficient. We signed up for their Preferred Partner Plan that same night because it’s a good deal. Our next experience was with an issue with our heat. It went out 2 days after Christmas. We scheduled an appointment, they came out the same day (they have always come out the same day that we contacted them). Our technician, Austin quickly found the problem and gave us our options on fixing it. We knew our whole HVAC was over 20 years old so we opted to replace the whole system. The same day their sales rep, Justin came out and squared us away with an appointment for the new system. On Monday, our installer, Benjamin and his team showed up, right on time and got to work. We had a brand new unit set up by 3 PM. Ben went over the system with me and did a full inspection to make sure everything was working properly. Preferred Home Services prices are fair - they have all fallen within national market prices on every service and all equipment we’ve purchased through them. Also, each person we’ve dealt with has been very clear as to what the expected price for services and equipment will be. We’ve been very impressed with Preferred Home Services and look forward to working with them in the future.

I got the service from Preferred Home Services for my not working heater. They sent Scott as scheduled to come over. Scott is a very experienced technician who quickly inspected the system, found out the cause and fixed the issue. Furthermore, he explained all the problems of my heating system and provided different options with details to get the problems fixed. He is very knowledgeable and kind to help me to understand the problems for me to make an educated decision. I have decided to get my very old furnace changed to get all known and potential problems fixed permanently. He also share all the information of getting the consultation for the new furnace. I am very satisfied with the service overall. Highly recommended.

Alec and Logan were highlights of the experience! Such kind and helpful guys. Johnny as well. Answered every question, were fully transparent about everything we were questioning, and provided a great service. They brought our old home up-to-date with all new pipes, water line, and hot water heater. It’s frustrating to have to spend thousands of dollars on a new system, but they made us comfortable and reassured us every step of the way.

What a wonderful experience arising from a bad situation. Called with a plumbing issue and had a plumber out within an hour or so. That plumber was Logan Sankuer. Listened to my issue, jumped straight in, found the problem and then fixed the problem. Suggested other issues and gave quotes. Nothing but professional. So impressed and now have a company and individual that I will always turn to. Thank you!

What a great experience! Their team is excellent! I get instant anxiety about big purchases like this even when I know it’s a good investment, I just panic when I have to spend large amounts of money. Justin came out and evaluated my home and current setup and asked about my wants and needs. He answered all my questions with reassuring and common sense answers, and didn’t try to sell me unnecessary products or features. I was given several quotes/options by them and then by a few other companies. Ultimately I chose Preferred Home Services. They weren’t the cheapest quote, or the most expensive, but I believed it was the best value so I chose them. They gave me a great deal on a top of the line system and then went out of their way to fit me in next day and sent multiple teams so they could finish in one day! Nick and his crews were knowledgeable, professional, kind, and respectful of my property. I went from a 20+ year old system on its last l leg, begging to be put out of its misery, to a new, efficient system, an icy cool house, and a happy family, all in about 6 hours! Anxiety free! They really helped me feel great about my purchase and so far, the product speaks for itself! I don’t know enough about HVAC to know if I got a great deal, but I absolutely feel like I got great service and VALUE! Definitely recommend them!

Very good communication on scheduling dates, with times and pictures of the technicians. Payton was very accommodating and pleasant to work with on the project scheduling. Our project objectives were to improve system performance, correct any safety issues, correct any code violations and correct any prior contractor install failures. Overall project planning and management could have been better coordinated. Preferred Home Services meet all of our objectives.\Special thanks goes to Austin Gooly for being such a high tech professional and for being such a high customer service advocate. He was instrumental in finishing our project.Also thanks goes to Roger for his help.

He was Also very accommodating in helping me look for the unit that would match my home and be the best option. Also, the installers that came out impress me with their expertise.. collectively, the company in the gave me the best deal possible they were able to be out other organizations to accommodate me. We have had a great experience. We had a major plumbing project done and the quality of work was superior and the care and the quality of work was superior also. Chri’s Satterfield, Neeko Coley, and Austin Henderson were awesome and great to work with and extremely knowledgeable. Chris by far has been the best person that has came out and did an inspection and showed us what needed to be done and the importance of what needed to be done. He wasn’t trying to push unnecessary things. He explained what absolutely necessary and what could wait and explained the benefits of completing things that were going to be needed within the next year and 2. With his straight forward approach and not being pushy we agreed to have a large project completed. Needing and Austin are some best installers that I have worked with the quality of work is superior and their pride they take in their work is superior also. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs and these 3 people listed.

I am very impressed with this company. My wife called to set up an estimate to get our heat pump replaced because it was old and on its last toe much less its leg. Justin Davis came out the next day to give us a quote for a new unit. He was very professional and on time. He asked about our concerns and listened. He gave his quote and didnt try to up-sale anything that we didnt need. He was very knowledgeable. When my wife called Justin to let him know we wanted to get the Heat Pump installed he had us scheduled for Friday which was the next day. So the install crew showed up Friday on time at 9 am. Chase, Mason, and Ben were very friendly and professional. Chase and Mason worked on the inside unit while Ben worked on the outside unit of the heat pump. Long story short they worked there butts off and explained the different steps to me. All the extra pain in the butt things that they had to deal with on removing the old unit they handled very professionally. Any way they got the job done. Thank you so much Chase, Mason, and Ben for your hard work. They made sure everything was in working order before they left. Which they tested the unit for almost an hour by the way. Not 5 minutes after they left had an issue with breaker tripping. I got in touch with Justin to let him know what was going on. He got a technician out here this morning( Saturday) and this Chase was very professional and on time as well. He asked what was happing. I told him and he listened. He tested and tested everything. He found the problem and explained everything. Thank you Chase. Great company with great employees.

Great experience! Tori answered my call on the second ring Friday morning. Super nice lady. Set my appointment for Saturday morning no problems. Justin was there right on time, checked out the issue, cool and polite and even let me vent a bit...I called him back Sunday to schedule the install no problems with that..scheduled for Monday morning..Monday morning, Chase an Mason showed up right on time...super courteous, handshakes all around and they got right to work. I had to leave for work, Chase called a few hours later to let me know everything was fine and let the unit run for 1 hour.My daughter called me right after crying she was so happy she had her new system...crazy.Ill be using these guys on all my properties from now on.And they did it $3000 less than Waldrup.Great jop!

We had our HVAC system serviced by this company the first day they came out around 7PM after waiting all day just for the guy to look at it for 10 minutes and say he didn’t know what was wrong with it and he would come back the next day at 3PM and try again he was then 45 minutes late making my husband late for work and he said he thought it needed freon so he put a pound and a half in it changed us $220 and it still isn’t working. On top of that when I call the number to figure out what his ETA was the second day she was rude and refused to help. I would not recommend.Update: Preferred Home services reached out to me after the above review and sent out a very knowledgeable technician We were very impressed with Mr. Austin Gooley, He quickly figured out what the problem was and gave us options for Solutions we ended up deciding to go with installing a new unit. After Austin left they sent over Justin another very impressive employee Justin was beyond helpful making sure we got a good price and helping us decide which unit would be best for us and figure out the best way to set up a payment plan he then scheduled an appointment to have it installed within a few days. The installation only took one workday and everything was up and running by the time they left. Thank you preferred home services we would recommend Second crew of employees they sent out

After hurricane Helene, they stuck with me through all of the appointment cancellations and waited for me to have power back at the house and saw us the morning after everything was restored. My tech was great. Loved the support of Toys for Tots! CSR seemed nice. Only issue I had was pricing. He came did some things told me what was wrong , did some more things. I asked a few questions, then he stated it was $100 for what he fixed , his fix was simple and quick , I was confused, he never told me the charge before he actually fixed it . I felt stuck. Then he even said normally it can be $250 for diagnosis and simple quick fixes. He offered to not charge me. I didnt feel right about that... I just explained CSRs said $59 or toy to tell me whats up. And techs and cars need to be on same page. I was happy to pay to have hot water on one hand on the other I actually think if I was told the issue my husband could have fixed it DIY and save us $100 . We would have just been out the $59 or toy for tot , which would have been fine. I know they work hard. Like I said my tech was nice handled it all well. I just payed , sense he did fix it.

If I could give preferred home service a 10 star I would!!! My evaporator coils were causing a refrigerant leak smell after just having them in my brand new house for a year. The brand was Lennox (don’t buy their product). I called preferred home service to come out and diagnose the smell I was getting from the vents and sure enough it was either a refrigerant leak in the coils or what’s called dirty sock syndrome. The smell was mild compared to other houses but I didn’t want to just rig it, I wanted it fixed. Preferred home service is VERY VERY veteran friendly and waived the diagnostic fee and came out and diagnosed it. That day they were able to get their hands on some new evaporator coils from Lennox to replace the fairly new ones. Since I had a warranty on parts I was only charged for labor. Preferred home service ( Ricky, who diagnosed it) and (Cody and Wesley) who changed out the evaporator coils did an amazing job. They also went above and beyond not only to work with me on the price but also while they were changing the evaporator coils out in the attic for the upstairs one, they let me see and smell the evaporator coils for the downstairs one without charging anything extra. I highly highly recommend them and I wouldn’t choose another HVAC company in the future. All my business is going to them!!! Thank you!!!!

Preferred Home Services went above and beyond yesterday when my AC went out on a Sunday. They came out as an emergency, didn’t charge any extra fees for it being a weekend, and had the problem diagnosed and resolved within 30 minutes or less. The prices are extremely competitive as I called a dozen other businesses before coming across this one. Chris was my technician and he had an excellent attitude. He was very positive and friendly and I am so appreciative of everything. Will absolutely use you guys again, and recommend to others.

Johnny was very thorough and did his best to help the same day. Unfortunately, my problem was more than he could do alone. Johnny brought me options to get everything I needed fixed in a way that I would not have to worry about problems later. I chose the best option for me available and became a member. Johnny got me scheduled for the next morning and Bradley Justice with his partner came out and fixed me right up. Bradley also was very thorough in showing me everything they did, gave me tips on maintaining a good flow in my home, and was just very respectful. Probably, the best contractor experience Ive ever had. My technican, Scott Loutner, was absolutely awesome. 10 stars, if I could give it to him. Bottom line: they made it easy, Ricky is a pro, and pricing is very reasonable.Details: A/C was struggling and its never been looked at since I got it. Easily booking over the phone, was able to get in same day. Ricky is outstanding - listened to my concerns, told me what he was going to do and what it would cost, assessed the system thoroughly, gave a detailed summary of what he found, explained options, finished the work, and now A/C is working again. So impressed that I went ahead and signed up for the twice-yearly checks.

I explained my dilemma and an hour later Service Technician Eric Dytman was pulling in my driveway.Words cannot express how grateful I am for the quality of service received. Of course, it’s the hottest part of the year and our ancient HVAC died. One call to Preferred and they had someone at our house the next morning first thing. It was a very professionally conducted phone call, very productive. The lady on the other end of the phone call was very helpful. Scott was our technician. He was very thorough, timely, respectful of our home, and patiently explained everything to us. He did get our ancient system up and running, but we already knew we were on borrowed time. He put us in touch with Mike as we knew a new HVAC was an imminent need. We told Mike what we where looking for, and the timeframe we had as far as financing is concerned and he gave us the knowledge we needed to pick out the right system that worked for our needs, and our budget. Preferred then had a technician named Nick (along with his crew) out the next day. They had us up and running on our new system the same day, with some time left over to pet the dog before they left. They left our home and yard neater than they found it. They too were very thorough, timely, respectful of our home, and explained everything to us. I had a great experience with Preferred Home Services. I submitted a request for service on Sunday evening and was immediately contacted by the office to schedule something for the week that worked with my availability. They sent someone out the very next day. Their alert system is great as I was notified that a technician was on the way, how far away they were and the time to expect them. I was also called by the office to ensure I was home and prepared for the technician at the expected time of arrival.Brandon Gibbs was our technician. He arrived on time and was friendly. I gave him a rundown of the concerns and he checked it out for himself. Before doing any work, he told me exactly how much the job would cost and I needed to confirm or deny the pricing prior to moving forward. Once I confirmed, he got to work. He took his time and made sure it was done right. I had no concerns or worries with Brandons execution of the job. He happily explained things to me as I asked questions about the problems and spoke very highly of his employer.

The professionalism was phenomenal! I work two jobs and have a strict schedule, and they were able to send a technician IMMEDIATELY. In addition, they dont charge to have someone come out and diagnose the issue! Andy was amazing. Two independent techs couldnt find the problem and he did in under 20 minutes. He explained everything in detail, providing pictures of the damaged area. The price to actually fix the unit was much steeper than expected, but I guess you get what you pay for.
