    I had a leak in my kitchen free standing ice maker, of course, on a Sunday night at 7:30pm. The leak was substantial and I was in a panic! I called Duckett Plumbing because their website said that they would respond to urgent situations. I called several places, and Duckett called me right back and service personnel were at my house within 45 minutes. (I live in Greenwood, SC and they were coming from Anderson SC.) William was the service provider and he was wonderful. He quickly got the water off and found the problem. He came even though no businesses were open to provide needed parts. He was able to turn off the water to the ice maker only, so that we still had water. Life saver!! He got the situation controlled last night and then came back this morning to replace the leaking hose in the ice maker and under the house. He was efficient and skilled and very kind. I could not ask for better service! The price was very reasonable considering the timing and how quickly he was able to address the issue. That leak could have ruined my entire kitchen flooring, not to mention that it was also leaking in the crawlspace under the house. I will rate them as many stars as possible!! Great response time!! Great service personnel!! I am so thankful!

    This company was amazing. From the time I called the office, a technician was at my house in 9 minutes. They started work on Saturday and by Monday they were done fixing a major leak and re-piped my house. The group of menthat worked on my house. Thank you thank you. I was so stressed out in tears but once you guys took over I could breathe.

    Keowee key resident- I just had to write up a great review for the Duckett Plumbing business out of Anderson team ! these guys got it done as promised!! If your looking for a skilled , professional, reasonable plumber that really cares about doing a top notch job to handle a underground pipe leaking mess in your yard then THIS would be Who I Advise you to call asap!!! Josh & Gabe came out the very same day after hearing about our emergency situation with no water bc we had to cut off at road - pipe burst underground & we explained we are here with our mom home with hospice care :(( & no way to fix this situation they truly cared enough to leave another job they just finished to come help us get our plumbing fixed took these guys 4- hours to dig a trench uphill by hand “from road to the house, pull pipe, dig more, run pipe, fill all trenches bk up with dirt perfectly & seamlessly & totally rerouted our water pipes for us today starting at 4pm & leaving job completed .. by hand. At 8pm!! . and everything working perfectly!!     Waking up to a major water leak mess is NO fun, especially on a weekend day! Your mind starts thinking, “I’ll never get anyone here on a Sunday!”. Wrong! Found Duckett Plumbing through an internet search. Called and spoke with someone about our problem. Received an immediate call back from our technician, Dante, giving us an estimated time of arrival. He was nice, professional, mannerly, and most of all knew what he was doing! He worked his butt off for hours and it was not easy work!! We appreciate this company and especially Dante and his professionalism!! A+++ to Dante!!

    Amazing in every way. Thought I was going to be without hot water for a week, but Duckett really came through. I got next day install and everything went smoother than I thought.     Had a great experience with Duckett and would use them again.John, who answered the call, was very responsive.     The technician sent out, Donte was an amazing worker and very professional. He deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond, he crawled into an area with only 13” clearance and restored my water in under an hour, and had the muddy wet clothes to prove it. I offered a tip but he politely declined and said he was happy to help. He explained everything to me in a very understandable manner and done high quality work. Will definitely be calling again for anymore plumbing issues. Thank you!

    Reposting this review after Duckett Plumbing made good on a previous 1 star review. Previous tech had poor (no) communication , but Ryan was sent out Friday to look at my issue. He gave me a fair quote, said he would be back this morning at 9 am. He reached out to me at 8:30 this morning to let me know he was on his way, arrived on time and did a great job installing my tub/shower surround. Would have been 5 stars had I not had issues with first tech not communicating.

    My son recently inherited a 1945 mill home from his grandparents. The home needs a complete rehab, but we were looking to make it livable until the spring. It’s in a very small town and plumbers willing to take the job are limited.From the very first phone call late on a Friday afternoon about a big water leak, to the completion of the job, Duckett Plumbing exceeded my expectations.These guys are so knowledgeable. They provided me with solid options based on our needs and budget.Wayne was the best! He completed all the work on our very necessary bathroom fixes. New toilet, new shower fixtures and new shower surround. He’s thoughtful of his work and provided the best customer experience. He went so far above and beyond what was requested.We had some scheduling issues because we were out of town for several days to move, but they stayed in contact to let me know how they’d accommodate the crazy schedule.Give Duckett plumbing a call. They are fantastic!

    Frank was friendly and polite. He was nice to my dog too which I liked. He did a good job installing a new sink trap. It was done quickly and I was happy they could come over so quick after scheduling within 24 hours. Fast service! And on a Saturday too! My only gripe was they charge a $70 fee to come out (which goes toward a balance or is the flat fee if you opt out) and so if the estimate is high for a smaller job, you’re kind of stuck. For a job that should have cost $250-300, it cost $400 but it’s fine. I wanted it done quickly and they probably knew that. They’re still good for if you want something done quickly and don’t mind paying a bit extra.

    I inquired about service when my water heater blew. Scott contacted me immediately and was at my house same day! He assessed the situation gave me honest feedback and recommendations. He was quick to find a heater and parts in no time.Before I moved forward, I shopped around looking for other contractors and felt over charged and other contractors were not following through. After several days, I messaged Scott and asked for help and he was at my house the next morning with a solid team ready to get it done. He gave me a good price and the work was done within an hour. They did such a quick and clean job! I highly recommend them! I fished around for handful of contractors and Scott and his team was just hands down the best service we have ever experienced! We were out of hot water for 9 days including Memorial weekend and Scott didnt waste time and treated my situation as an emergency! I felt like a priority!

    I had to make a service call after 5. Robert worked me into his schedule that same night and arrived to my house at 10:30 and stayed until 1 am to make sure my repair was made and I had water again before he left .     My hot water suddenly stopped one evening. I thought that I might be out of hot water for the next several days. I began searching for help. The next morning, I got in touch with Duckett Plumbing. Then Andrew from Duckett Plumbing arrived early and analyzed my problem and said that he could install a new hot water heater that day.     Called on a Saturday afternoon and spoke to Mr. Duckett. He said he would get to us as soon as he could. It seemed to be a minor leak so we didnt have to cut our water off. Due to several calls with homes with no water I was told I would be first on list Sunday morning. Sunday I got a call from technician Robert Threatt that he was on his way. He said he was 45 min. away. Promptly at 10:15 he arrived. He had to cut several holes to find our problem. This wasnt a concern though as all the areas had water damage. He found the problem and it was fixed in 20 minutes. Robert was courteous and cleaned up. The price was unbelievable for coming out on a Sunday. I have shared Duckett Plumbing on our community facebook page. They will be our go to plumbers from now on. Fantastic job! Thank you Robert and Duckett Plumbing 👍👍

    My husband and I had the pleasure of allowing the Duckette plumbing team come out to help us in replacing a 25 year old water heater! May I add it was The worst they had ever seen! The bottom was rotted out and on the verge of collapsing! Donte was super friendly and worked well to get us a proposal that would fit our needs. Frank was beyond knowledgeable, professional, easy going and filled with so much knowledge about our situation which made us feel at ease and confident with the chaos of our water heater problem, especially since we are first time homebuyers that bought this unforeseen problem.     Let’s be real, nobody like to have to call for a plumber, kind of like going to the dentist.We bought an older house just over a year ago and have been working with Scott at Duckett Plumbing to get things back to where they should be on multiple occasions. He may not tell you what you necessarily want to hear but he is 100% trustworthy and fair.For example, we had an exterior hose Bibb that wouldn’t stop leaking. I called and asked him how much it would cost to fix? His response was without looking at it it could be nothing or it may cost a visit. His people came and said they could replace a washer which is not a big deal and I’d be calling them back in a few months time because the faucet was 65 years old.Cheap me took the easy fast way out and the following month I had them back to replace.These folks are honest, professional and I would absolutely recommend them.Mitch - Greenville

    I wanted to remove a dishwasher from our house that always had a foul odor lingering in it. I called Duckett Plumbing as I had used them for other issues. Michael Mitford arrived and after an inspection that lasted 2 minutes he informed me that the dishwasher drain was improperly routed and drain water was seeping back in the dishwasher tub. Michael had to endure some of the foulest smelling water that was trapped inside of the dishwasher but faced the situation with a smile and a positive attitude. His knowledge and professionalism helped make a tough job complete with a full clean up after finishing. I was offered the absolute best price for the work as Michael was done in less than 30 minutes. If I have any follow up issues, I was told that a simple phone call would solve everything.     Hotwater heater burst in middle of the night. Called Duckett in am and they came and looked at it that morning . Gave me a quote and I accepted it and they replaced in a few hours. The guys did a good job. It was a little pricey, but end of the day we have hot water and thats what we needed.

    I came to use this company through my business where I definitely learned thatquality plumbers and plumbing companies are few and far between! My uncle-in-law, Rabbit (Harold) Dyar, handled all of the work within his ability at home and our two businesses until he passed away in 2018. He would tell us when it was outside his experience. Unfortunately, it seemed to be the luck of the draw then through meeting Mr. Dale Duckett. He is retired yet helped all he could at the diner. When he had surgery I came to know his son, Scott, who owns Duckett Plumbing. Recently they have done minor and major repairs at my home and former business. I cant say enough about the quality work and the character of the owner. A particular worker named Chris was excellent at the diner and another who I forget at my home. I highly recommend this company as a lifesaver to me and will use them for my needs from now on!

    The week before Christmas, we noticed our 20-year old water heater was leaking! We called Duckett Plumbing on Monday - Dontae came out a few hours later and evaluated the situation and gave us an estimate. On Tuesday we had a new water heater installed, new outlet lines, new fittings, new expansion tank, new shutoff valve and new drain pan! Everything was cleaned up and all the old parts and water heater hauled off. Dontae was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Did not try to sell us more than we needed and gave us honest recommendations. Would highly recommend Duckett Pluming.

    This was an approximately 50 year old 3 valve tub-shower faucet that was leaking. This was a Delta brand with an unusual seat and cartridge setup that they no longer manufacture. The plumbers had to go to a special plumbing supply store to get a replacement cartridge and seat kit. Even with this kit the repair of the faucet was tedious and time consuming. The plumbers were courteous and careful in their work.

He made sure to call on his way to the house, and kept me updated through the whole process.     The Duckett plumbing team was amazingly responsive. They responded to an emergency after hours call on a weekend where no other plumbers in the area would call back. The crawl space at my house was flooding and we were in danger of electrical issues. They professional identified the issues and stopped the leak. Next day they came back and replaced the water heater.Their technician was a great communicator and made us feel we weee in good hands. I don’t know what we would have done without Duckett.
