Ive been a customer of Delcor for over 20 years. I would like to express my appreciation to their customer service and to my technician, “Sam”, for the excellent and timely response to my call. Within an hour of my call to the service center, Sam had called me twice to discuss my current situation and to let me know he was on the way. He arrived, was very professional and polite. He immediately went to diagnosing the problem. Not only that, but he informed me every step of the way of his findings and progress. Within an hour he had diagnosed the problem, removed the defective part and installed the new part he had readily available in his service van. He had my heat pump back up and running again! Id like to thank Sam and the Service Dept. for their quick response and repair of my heat pump! I highly recommend Delcor, and thank them for todays service repair!

I was experiencing several toilet issues and called Delcor for an appointment. Curtis, my technician, came the next day and made all necessary repairs and adjustments. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. He explained the reasons for the issues and made recommendations that would solve future problems. Curtis was very professional and courteous. He arrived on time and was very efficient. I have used Delcor in the past and would not use any other company for my plumbing or HVAC needs.

Wonderful and skilled technicians! Justin and Nick have consistently been able to assist with getting my unit up and running smoothly. The company is also very accommodating with scheduling. As my work schedule sometimes requires I leave town with very little notice, I have never had an issue with rescheduling which is incredibly helpful.

Update: Had my 1st service plan call today. Grant was excellent, changed our filters, cleaned the unit outside and checked everything out. Plus he wore a mask and shoe covers. Excellent Service!Called at 3:35 pm for service and the technician was at my home at 3:45 pm. It was an issue that we have had before so signed up for the maintenance plan. Hopefully, that will prevent the issue in the future. Giving 5 stars for the speedy response and professionalism of the person that scheduled the visit and the technician that came to my home. I also appreciate that the technician put on booties before entering our home.

I came home to find my AC was not working, and my thermostat was broken. KC scheduled me quickly and Grant came to install a new thermostats. He went above and beyond, making sure the new smart thermostats were set up and showed me how to use them. He double checked my system to see if there were any other problems, changed my filters, and handed me my packages from the front porch! This young man was wonderful! So professional and knowledgeable. Thank you!

We contracted Delcor this summer to add a mini-split unit in our sunroom. We had gotten estimates from other companies but Delcor was not just the best price, they provided the most amazing customer service. From the start of it all, Kyle was a sales person who introduced us to Delcor and how professional they are. And how they truly put their customers first. He came to our home and never made us feel rushed or pressured. And just wanted to introduce us to the company and give us the estimate that we requested. When we called to schedule installation, Casey and the others in Customer Service were amazing. And then of course the day of installation Grant, install/service tech, was very professional and did an amazing job. He and his assistant that day make sure to not only complete the project in a timely manner, but most importantly wanted my wife and I to feel comfortable with everything. And when they left you would’ve never thought they were there. Because the cleanup was amazing. And now we have a cool room for the summer. And this winter will have some warmth.And then the next week we had a young man who came out from Delcor to walk us through how to use our new unit and make sure that we were comfortable with everything and was there for any questions that we may have.We are so fortunate to have gotten connected to Delcor. I’ve since contacted Stephen, the Delcor service manager. I told him how fortunate he was to have a great team of service techs working with him. It’s truly one of the best businesses that I’ve worked with in many years. From Customer Service, to sales, to installation/service Delcor is the company that you need to consider for your heating and air-conditioning needs.

We had heat go out overnight. We hired a local, reputable company to inspect and attempt to repair, but they called back to reschedule.In a panic, we called Delcor. The person I spoke with was professional and empathetic. She scheduled for a last-minute inspection to evaluate our heating system.To my surprise, Justin called within an hour of our contact with Delcor. He asked if he could come by earlier than expected, and I complied. Justin was fantastic! He inspected our system, restored heat to our home within minutes, quickly diagnosed our issue, and proposed an affordable solution. He kept in constant communication with us about what he was doing and why, and our interaction concluded with Justin setting an expectation for ordering our needed part and contacting us upon arrival of the part to schedule an installation date and time.I strongly recommend this provider based on our experience. Exceptional service when we needed it most.

During this heatwave, our A/C went out, not only did it affect us, but our pet also...called Delcor and spoke with Casey...even though it was almost closing time, she checked and found a technician that could be at our location later that evening. Later, and not that late, the technician, Justin arrived. Very pleasurable, courteous and professional...he checked the system and asked some questions. Once he checked outside and then the drain, it a very short period of time we were up and running. We have been a long time customer of Delcor and will remain. Few businesses can state that the customer service and the work done are equal to the ads you see for them...Delcor can!!!

My neighbor recommended Delcor Inc. out of Greenville,NC, when our HVAC system had a malfunction with condensation not draining from unit to the outside. We had water overflowing the pan under unit & coming through a smoke detector mounted on the ceiling under the unit. All alarms went off. We shut down AC & started calling companies for help. It was Friday night on Memorial weekend. Decor answered after hours immediately. The young man I spoke with couldn’t have been nicer. Even though we had never done business with them before he assured me that a service technician would come that evening. He was true to his word, which is very refreshing this day & time. The technician arrived about 11 PM & corrected the problem . Needless to say, we will continue being customers of theirs for routine maintenance & service. I highly recommend this company.

Received a call from the office Wednesday morning to let me know that Nick would be coming out shortly. Nick was professional and personal. Took time to check everything out and make some adjustments. . Bottom line - professional all the way. Signed up for their annual maintenance. As we are new to the area always looking for quality service providers.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting another of Delcors technicians, Grant. And not only did he identify the cause of the issue Ive been having with my older gas furnace, but he fixed it on the spot. Like every other HVAC and plumbing tech from Delcor that has done work at my home over the years, he was knowledgeable and professional, but also respectful, polite, willing to answer questions and to explain whats going on, all of which I value.At a previous home we had a top of the line Trane package unit installed by Delcor and though the installation was top notch, there was one failure with a major part, but it was covered under warranty. I still love Trane equipment though, for the quality of the build, the advanced features, and the extreme energy savings we experienced. Really, as equipment gets more technical I have seen other reputable new equipment have issues that I wouldnt have expected, like with various Kenmore Elite appliances weve purchased. What has proven valuable has been working with companies with warranties you can trust, purchasing protection plans, and sticking with companies who have a track record, whose office and tech staff treat you with respect and professionalism, and who likely will still be in business when you need warranty service, like Delcor.

We just moved in our house a week ago and our heat just stopped working! We called Delcor and they got us scheduled in the same day. Justin Vick was the tech that came out and worked on our thermostat, he was very polite, very informative on what the issue was also how it could be resolved. The solution was simple and he got right to it! In less than 30 mins he was finished and my heat was up and running. He also wore a mask and shoe covers while in the house (which I wished more people did when they come to repair something in your home). But all around Im very satisfied with my service thanks Justin!

Our new (to us) house came with a number of heating, cooling and especially chaotic behavior from the hot/cold water controls (showers intermittently spiking from scalding hot to bitter cold... very distressing). This is a large house integrated with both new and old HVAC and plumbing technology... a real spider web. The Delcor team took on this challenge with professionalism, courtesy... insert your favorite term that describes a never give up attitude. Kudos to all of the great folks at Delcor and thanks for a job well done!

Used for gas hot water heater replacement - went from traditional to tankless unit. Was an urgent need and I did not get estimates from others, so I do not know how they compare from a price standpoint. However, I absolutely cannot complain about the quality of the work or the service. Joseph was the plumber who did my install and he took time to ensure that the extensions to the water line and gas line that he had to run were well secured and visually appealing (in other words - the install was very thoughtfully done and he didnt just take the easiest route like many would do). I did not make any requests in regards to how the unit was installed, so that really attests to the quality of the work that Joe does. Again, I cannot speak to the cost of the job. If it was not an urgent need I might have shopped around a little bit first, but after this experience the savings would need to be substantial for me to go with someone else.

UPDATED: 2/7 - The service manager called Monday morning to discuss my concerns. Steve was very professional and genuinely interested in my the issues raised in my review.Based on the timely response by Steve, I will definitely consider Delcor in the future with any HVAC needs.Posted 2/6 - I called Delcor for HVAC service based On a neighbors recommendation. My heat pump was adequately heating, but not cutting off as expected once it reached the desired temperature of 65° (night time temperature above 40°).Justin was the first tech that came to check the unit. Per his notes he found the system operating normally and only made a modification to the upstairs zone damper to allow proper airflow downstairs. The system had been operating with the dampers set as they were before Justin arrived for over 6 years. The charges were $100 standard labor and $25 truck charge. Needless to say, the problem persisted with the unit not cutting off after reaching the set temperature.Nick was the second tech who came back to inspect the unit. He found a short in the auxiliary heat panel. There was no charge for this visit because Justin had failed to realize the problem part on the initial service call. Nick ordered the part and informed me Delcor would call when it arrived.Casey from Delcor left a message Thurs the part was in and someone could either come that afternoon or Friday morning. When calling back to Delcor, Casey was at lunch so a message was given to another person at Delcor for a tech to come Friday morning. At approximately 9 AM Friday Casey was called to inquire when to expect the service tech. Unfortunately, Casey had not been given a message on Thursday to send a tech Friday morning To install the auxiliary heat kit.After the phone call to Casey, Grant came Friday and successfully install the new part. Charges for services this day again included the $100 standard labor, $25 truck charge, and part fee. Thankfully, the heat pump is back to running normally, even with the much much colder dip in temperatures.Note, between Justin and Nicks service calls, I reached out to Delcor management and received a timely call from Casey regarding my concern. Casey was very responsive, understanding, and professional each time I spoke with her. The 3 star rating is due to the initial techs inability to diagnose the problem and the lack of communication when a message was left for Casey. Also, the standard $125 fee for each service call appears slightly higher than other HVAC companies I subsequently reached out to.

I’ve been a Delcor customer for more than 20 years and have never had a bad experience with either routine or emergency service. I’m a widow over 70 years old and the isolation caused by the pandemic has made for some long lonely days, so it was especially nice today to meet Frankie and Keith. It was just a routine maintenance call and I was pleased that these young men showed up with masks and footwear as they began their work. Keith worked mostly outside, but Frankie was inside and had to put up with my endless chatter. I think I was just happy to have a human being to talk to. The fact that Frankie was so engaging and personable, in addition to be clearly competent, was an added bonus. It would almost (almost!) be worth it to have an AC problem just to enjoy these guys again. 😊

We set the appointment up for the crew to to come out and do the replacement. Jerry and Ayden came for the install. They were great guys. Did a fantastic job. They were also very helpful, kind and professional. I am glad I called these guys. They made my experience with getting a new HVAC unit a very pleasant one. I have used Delcor for HVAC service several times, most recently today. My service technician was John Howard. He could not have been nicer or more professional. He fully explained all of the HVAC problems and their solution and worked quickly to solve them. My only complaint with Delcor is that they are not cheap. Technicians charge $100/hr and freon is billed at $100/lb plus labor, which is a very expensive price.ADDENDUM 9/27/2018: I had to have Delcor come back because the problem with the upstairs AC unit recurred. I asked for John Howard again and he came this AM at 8 as he said he would. It took him and hour to find and fix the problem and explain why last weeks fix hadnt worked. He was just as friendly, helpful and professional as he had been next week. Although the new fix involved replacing parts, I was not charged for them or for anything else! The repeat visit and repeat repair were all totally free. Rest assured, as future problems arise, I will call Delcor and John Howard

I had a problem with some equipment that I purchased from Delcor several years previous. One of their repairmen came by and did what he thought would correct the problem, but it unfortunately didnt. A few days later, water came through the ceiling and ruined the popcorn ceiling below the unit. When I called them, they sent someone out pretty quickly, but that quickly turned into 3 repairmen within 30 minutes after the first one got here. They replaced a few parts and made everything right. Three repairmen for 3 hours at NO COST to me because they felt responsible for the issue. I never had to call them and request anything; they did it all on their own. Whats even one step better, one of the repairmen told my girlfriend to call the main office and request to have the popcorn ceiling repaired, which we had not done when I received a phone call from a local drywall company asking me what a good day would be for them to come by and fix the ceiling. These things were ALL done without me ever having to ask. Now THAT is a great way of doing business! Even though the star scale goes only to 5, I give Delcor a 10!

The attic air handler in the house we were set to close on today was rumbling and vibrating the upstairs for the previous week. After having another company attempt to repair it several times and finally being told that the sound was just normal, I called these folks at 7:30 A.M. They dispatched Grant, who arrived at 11:00 A.M (which was an hour earlier than promised). All I wanted to know was whether a full replacement of the air handler and/or heat pump could fix the problem so that I could either close on the house or back out of the sale.After about half an hour of work, Grant not only identified the problem but he also fixed it. The HVAC system now sounds just like a did when we contracted to purchase the house and were about to go close as I type this review. I attempted to replace it myself but couldnt get the front panel to fully open, so I figured Id better call someone rather than screw anything up. I called around 9 am, David showed up around 11:30 and handled it in about 20 minutes. 130 bucks with the part. David was friendly and explained several things to me, I learned alot. Would have been nice given I did pay $150 for a Saturday call, however, one needed hot water to the house. I will use them again as they have always been responsive and took care of issue promptly, thus only a 4 as it would have been nice to have not had to worry in future to now drip hot water (in addition to cold) to prevent pipe freeze all night.

I had repeated mechanical failed parts. For example, igniter was replaced five times in one year, and gas valve - three times. The reason for their short life was low manifold pressure: 1.6 w.c. instead of the recommended 3.5 w.c.Delcor took apart the gas line and blew nitrogen. The pipe was full of pipe dope. It was removed, and the pressure returned to its normal value.Finally after a year of struggle the correct diagnostic was done, and the problem fixed.

I had a most extraordinary situation involving a broken water pipe for any plumber to face! It turns out that a massive root from a huge tree wrapped itself around the water pipe lengthwise...with the pipe actually growing inside the walls of the root...like a hotdog in a hotdog bun! Kevin arrived on the scene, eyeing the water spilling out from under the plant bed right next to the wall of the house. With the skill of a master plumber Kevin began excavating only to find the pipe buried within the tree root. Working into the dark, Kevin realized he needed to return with chisels and hammer...and early the next day, he chiseled away the root, fixed the break with what was left of the existing pipe, and the repair was masterfully completed. When residual sediment blocked some inside plumbing, Kevin and then Joe B. came back to fix the flow and replace parts. I was so impressed with Kevin and Joe B. that I called Delcor immediately to let them know how professional, courteous, and competent both gentleman were. I will always use Delcor for plumbing and other services in the future. Outstanding professional service!!! Thank you Kevin and Joe B!!!
