    Very knowledgeable and responsive when I needed them. Also very friendly and courteous. My AC had died and I made an appointment for them to come look at it but it looked like it would be later in the evening. Well, Bo was able to wrap up his earlier appointments and made it out sooner than expected. After diagnosing the issue it was determined that my system was toast. Island Aire gave me a quote for a new system, which I accepted, and they were out first thing the next morning to install it. Really appreciate everything!

    We’re very pleased with Island Air and the quality, knowledge and reliability of the techs that have serviced us. However, today Alan recommended a compressor saver based on the age of our unit. After he explained its function, it made perfect sense. Your charge was $400. Looking on line, the units ranged from $25 to $50. It took him all of 20 minutes to install. Basing my opinion on a $200 per hr labor rate, it would seem to me the job would have been more fairly priced at $150 to $200. I realize I’m old and live in the past where a set of spark plugs cost $12 not $100 but $200 an hour for labor in todays world would seem more than fair.

    My first experience with Island Aire, and it was more than I expected. Dalton is a true professional and an expert at his trade. His helper, Christen, learning the trade is very personal. I was impressed by the detail and explanation of work being done. Great company and highly recommend.

    Contacted Island Aire last night because our AC unit stopped running. I wasnt expecting anyone would be available since it was around 7 in the evening. The emerg rep said they had someone who could come over to check the unit out. Shortly after I received a call from Bo. He came over, quickly diagnosed the problem and in less than an hour, AC was repaired. Great service and highly recommend. We are getting them set up on an annual Maintenance Plan as well. You wont go wrong with Island Aire.

    They always perform maintenance on my HVAC that they installed to include duct work back in 2020. They always have been thorough; however, today they failed to put the maintenance plate back on the outside unit leaving wiring exposed to weather should it rain or critters. My husband had to put the plate back on.

    Highly recommend Island Aire because of their professionalism and honesty. I called them to get a quote for a service that I was told by another company said I needed and that qoted me a lot of money for, when Josh came to see what I was told I needed, he was honest and told me what I really need and the company quoted me a great price. I feel respected and as a female doing these things I feel Josh was not taking advantage of my lack of knowledge about electric needs. Thank you so much for your honest and fair quote and great work.     Just had one of the best experiences with an air conditioning service supplier. Justin Ballard of Island Aire of SW Florida not only showed up during the designated time, performed the requested service on both our AC systems but was extremely informative on the condition and operation of our systems. This is the AC service provider we were looking for and will count on them to provide all our AC work in the future.Called Island Aire again to have them improve my AC plumbing, ducting and float switches installation following a water flooding problem. Douglas and his partner Luis came out today replaced the wet insulation inside my air handler and made a very poor original installation (not installed by Island Aire) much, much improved as shown in the attached photos. Not only is the installation much cleaner but the improved switches should hopefully prevent another water disaster in my attic.

    Dalton called ahead to let us know that he was on his way & arrived within his scheduled time. He got right to work & diagnosed the problem quickly (a bad thermostat). He replaced the thermostat, checked to make sure everything was working properly & was on to his next appointment.We are new to the Ft. Myers area & appear to have found a reliable HVAC contractor for our future maintenance needs.

    I highly recommend this company. With the really hot weather coming, our house had a well used 16 year old a/c system that we felt was time to replace before it went inoperable all together. After a few other quotes, it was obvious to me this was the company to choose. Ron came to our home to assess what we needed. He was the only technician to climb into our attic space and look and measure the supply/return ducts/hoses and routing. Then suggest us what changes were needed to correct the balance of cool air needed at weak flow spots in my home. Ron was the only estimator to do this. That was notable to me and made a big difference with my choice.Quite frankly, after getting the equipment and work estimates from Island Aire, I felt the other estimates from other HVAC companies were rip offs. They all basically offered to change the equipment at the same cost or more, none addressed or even looked at the attic hoses and duct work for air flow efficiency. While you are going to spend thousands for new equipment, what is the sense of it if your air ducts are choked or poorly routed? Youll spend extra in electric bills over the life of the equipment if this isnt right. Ron looked at this. A true HVAC professional.I also want to commend the three technicians, Shane, Justin, and Wesley that removed replaced my a/c system. The equipment install performed included the air handler unit, some improvements to flow/ ducting and hoses in attic, 6 wire install for newer generation thermostat and the outside condenser unit. I recognize this is hard work. They worked constantly on a hot day, having to perform and climb around my attic space/ jungle gym. Its a hot, dusty, and very confined environment. Attic temps probably at 115F or more. They worked with concern for us, to get the system up and running quickly to lessen temperature hardship on us. Their install was professional skilled and has excellent quality. The job was completed in about 7 to 8 hours. They left my house and areas they worked very clean. Thanks again guys.Choose Island Aire of Southwest FL for your a/c needs. My experience has been like when you find a good doctor, barber or car mechanic. Island Aire of Southwest FL is who will be my go to for air conditioning service.

    The only thing worse than losing power after a hurricane is getting it back then having your air freeze up and go out.     My old AC system had broken down 2x in a week, so I decided to replace it with a new one. I called Island Aire amongst others for proposals. Mike from Island Aire came to my home and said they could repair my current old unit but because of its age I still wanted new. Mike thoroughly explained what I would need and how the installation would help correct pointed out issues. We discussed the proposal and Mike left. NO HARD SELL. The following AM I signed the proposal and gave my downpayment. The next AM the installers were there on time.     This was my first time using Island Aire. Chris hands down!! did an awesome job at finding the problem with our a/c unit at almost midnight... this was an emergency call service, and he was the one on duty. We were very fortunate. He had to check every single part of the unit to rule out possible causes. He was patient. Finally, he found a tiny hidden colored wire that was placed incorrectly by someone else.     Its really convenient having to call them for emergency situations. When I got a problem on my AC twice. It always happens in a wrong time, whether its a weekend When theyre close or its a holiday, but they always have someone come to fix my AC for emergency situation. I know it will coast you more for them to come for emergency. But if youre able to afford it, it is better to take that, instead of waiting for 2-3 days for them to come & fix your AC just to save some money. Especially, with the heat right now and having a 2 babies in the house. Id rather to pay extra $$$ instead of waiting. So thank you.

    I have done business with Ron 4 years ago before in one of my houses. He recommended 4 years ago ductwork modifications when no one else did. I listened to him and followed his advice. After it was all done the difference in my ac and airflow was improvement on everything.Here I am now buying my second ac in my new house from Ron.I originally had a package unit outside. He recommendation here was to put a split system and change the ductwork.I trust him and let him made the decision that will benefit my home and my family.     It was a beautiful day in Naples, two days be the New Year, for Blake and Hector, expert installers from Island Aire of Southwest Florida, inc. to come and install a brand new Trane package unit. They were on time, friendly and personable and answered some questions about the unit before beginning the installation on the roof. They went about their work with efficiency and in a most professional manner giving me the confidence to know that this installation was done correctly.     I chose Island Aire in Fall 2010 to be for my air conditioning installer partly because they were an official provider for Costco or Lowe’s , while I was gathering bids to replace old system.At end of review process I chose Island-Aire because of the interactions from quote throughout installation process. Professional and competent, their reps were willing to answer questions and take the time to explain various aspects of the new system. I’m very happy with the Carrier unit I purchased, and the responsiveness from Island-Aire continues!Their excellence and responsiveness continues through June 2024!I pay $14.99 monthly for 2 maintenance visits per year-of course you can always pay in one lump sum.For those of you new to Florida , because we run our AC 24/7/365. it’s important to service your unit 2X a year rather than 1X like up north.

    We purchased our new system from Gordon March 2021, he was very personable and though he was a bit older than me, we both attended the same local highschool. He was very straight forward and honest and after speaking with him my wife and I decided not to go with any of the other companies we had scheduled for quotes and to go with Island Aire. The new a/c hasn’t been installed yet but once it is I’ll update the review to reflect. I just wanted to leave a review of how wonderful it was to speak with Gordon and we hope other potential customers will be able to speak with him too..Update:August 31,2021.The new system has run great and has kept our bills low. We’re very happy with our purchase and the value of the package for our new home. We had our 6 month courtesy maintenance today and it went great. He was knowledgeable and courteous and explained to us how things were going as well as some place we could get quality air filters for a reasonable price. All in all this was a great experience.Update: April 2024System still running great, still super efficient even with electric being more expensive now. We’ve had the system for 3 years and have had the maintenance contract with them the whole time. They’re awesome about the maintenance and contact me a month before hand to schedule and it’s only $200 a year. I’m happy to continue to work with Island Aire

    We’ve had Island Aire out before Ian for service and they were great. So when Ian took our outdoor condenser unit, I called Island Aire right away to get on their schedule. We had to wait for electrical power to be restored, which happed in January 2023. Island Aire had a crew there within three days. In September 2023, we had a compressor failure and again, Island Aire was there right away trouble shooting. While we had to wait for the replacement parts, Island Aire folks brought and installed a portable A/C unit for us. While maybe not the cheapest, these folks are great, k ow what they’re doing and are quick to respond. I highly recommend Island Aire if you’re looking for HVAC services on Fort Myers Beach!

    I’m tired of all this winning. I picked up the phone and called Island Air to see about getting a quote for a new A/C unit install in my home. Same day appointment just a few hours later. Nice. Not even 20 min later my kid comes up to me and asks me if I hear water dripping in the area of the AC unit…swore I could hear an orchestra strumming out the notes for the movie Halloween as I approached the door where the unit was located. Water, dripping, phone rings, Island Air tech says he would like to come an hour early. Red carpet unrolled for him immediately. 4 different AC quotes received. Went with unit he recommended, 3rd one down the list. Not the most expensive one. Expecting to wait a few days for install… next morning 0745hrs, phone rings, they would like to install right now. Luck would have it in their warehouse and completely installed in my home w/in 24hrs. I know this won’t happen for everybody but I will always use Island Air for all of my family’s air conditioning needs. Everyone I dealt with was a professional gladiator. Extremely knowledgeable and highly proficient in their positions.

We had a stubborn problem with the drain pipe clogging up, he came back with special tools to clean it thoroughly and keep us running smoothly..     Blake and Harley with Island Aire were great! They installed a new air handler and condenser in a condo we purchased. They were very professional in all our interactions. They explained things and took me through the process before they began. They took into account my input regarding the location of the air condenser which needed to comply with the condo association rules. Throughout the installation process they kept me informed of their progress and again, included me in decisions which I could have an interest in like the placement of the new thermostat. At they end they went over the installation and explained the workings of some of the sensors.All in all I would highly recommend Island Aire. From my dealing with the estimate process, contracting with them to the installation by Blake and Harley, it was a great experience all around!

    You supplied and installed our AC, We have a service contract with you. WE were having some water accumulation and the sensor stopped the AC Operation as it should. We drained the water and cleaned the sensor. Unit started to run again. We called to have Island Air check the AC to be sure that all was working. The unit was just previously serviced.A tech came. Looked around. Pulled some parts out and did whatever. He left and said all was good. After two hours we came back home and AC is not working. Called your 24 after service hour with NO RESPONSE at all.It is hot and we have a sick dog on our house. Answer your phones and honor your service contracts, please!UPDATE- A Tech Named Brian came at 11:00pm in response to our call. Brian was very knowledgable and was able to determine and fix the issue vs the last maintenance service and the tech that came earlier today. Brian knew what the problem was and resolved the issue.     I had used Island Aire several years ago to install a new AC system in a previous home. That homes current AC was on its last legs, and it was a week out to get the new unit. It was the middle of summer and Island Air came out almost daily to keep my old AC going until they could install my new system. So when the AC in my new condo shut off Sunday night I had no doubt who I was going to call. Their tech Danny was early, spent 2 hours working on a plugged drain, and got my system up and running again! The charge was very reasonable, and Danny was able to show me where my filter was and the size to order. I would 💯 percent recommend this company!

    We moved into our home in Bonita Springs in July of 2022 and it came time replace our AC Unit and Air Handler. After getting 3 different bids, we decided to go with Island Aire due to them offering a Carrier AC unit, and the vibe we got from Ron T, our consultant. Its been about a week since the installation of the new AC unit and its been such a relief when compared to our old unit. Previously, we would set our thermostat at 78 degrees and by 2:00 pm in the afternoon, the temperature in the house would be at 80 degrees and the unit would be constantly running. After Island Aire installed the new unit, replaced the duct work in the attic, added additional returns and vents in the house, and us hiring another company to install additional insulation in the attic we are able to maintain a constant 76 degrees in the house in this current heat wave in early August. The difference is amazing in how our home feels today than prior to replacing the AC unit. The install crew was excellent and my wife and I are very appreciative of their hard work! Working in a SW Florida attic in late July is gruelling, so huge KUDOS goes out to thhose guys who did the work!!

    Had Justin from Island Aire come out to help with our air conditioner. Another company told us what was wrong (the motor of the fan) and quickly gave a price and left us in the heat. Justin spent time diagnosing and then preceded to fix the issue. It was a band aid to hold us over and gave us time to get a new air conditioner. Being in Florida, those few days helped us big time!     Ron was wonderful. When diagnosing our a/c problem he explained in a way we would understand and provided us with a variety of repair/replacement options. They were able to come within a week to begin replacing our ductwork and were able to finish ahead of schedule. Everything was well planned, punctual and the crew made sure to explain everything again as they were replacing it so we could stay informed. They provided an excellent alternative to shutting off our a/c completely for a few days and we were incredibly thankful. The crew (James and Shane) was professional, friendly, and fun. Ron came back when they were finished to review the work and make sure everything was to our liking. When we wanted to make a few adjustments to the airflow they were back within just a few days and everything is working beautifully!

    I was having humidity issues in my home and wanted to make sure my A/C unit was running properly. I contacted Island Aire and Ronald Toledo offered to come same day. Ronald was professional, polite and very knowledgable. He’s the definition of excellent customer service! When he arrived he checked our Unit inside and out. He even climbed in the attic to check our duct work. He thoroughly explained and showed us everything that was concerning, making sure we understood which made us feel comfortable. Ronald provided us with different options in regards to repairs and never once pressured us to pick one. I am very happy we chose Island Aire and highly recommend them and Ronald.     Ron came and spent a great deal of time evaluating our a/c and ducts . He explained everything in detail and took videos to show us the condition of our system. He was very knowledgeable and patient in answering all our concerns. We had multiple estimates to have the ducts replaced but in the end Ron was the person we trusted. He told us it would take 3 days but he sent 4 men and completed the job in 2 days! Then he came himself at 7pm on Friday to verify the job was done the way he promised us it would be done. That’s the commitment you hope for in a contractor! We 100% would recommend Ron to anyone!

    Our air conditioning unit broke down on Wednesday of a very hot week. Upon researching the internet for companies that service air conditioning we came upon Island Aire of Southwest Florida. The reviews provided by the BBB assured us that the company was reputable and service oriented. We called for an appointment for an assessment of our problem and met Ron Toledo. Ron provided us with a description of the issues plaguing the 30 year old unit and gave us three options for replacement at different price points. He took the time to go over each option and listened to us as we asked questions and expressed concern. After securing 2 additional quotes we found Island Aire to be fairly priced. Our a/c was replaced the next day.Marshall and his son Blake were here working at exactly the time that was quoted to us. Both men were professional and knowledgeable even with the advanced age of our a/c. They kept the work area clean and worked independently of one another. The final result was a very good experience.Thank you Ron, Marshall and Blake for a job well done. You are a credit to your company. And a special thank you to Ron who took the time to come back once the install was completed to teach us how to use Nest . We can now control our thermostat from our cell phone.

    So, I initially called because my AC couldnt get below 80. The pan was filling up with water... I called and (Jesse) came out same day and I explained the issue. He immediately knew the issue before he went into the attic. Then he went up and confirmed how dirty my system was.A couple days later, (Nick and Tom) came out to do a pull and clean on my coil. They went above and beyond.     So, this morning Ron Toledo with Island Aire came to my home for regular maintenance on my A/C unit. He did a great job! cleaned the unit thoroughly inside and out, unplugged the drain line and the whole time explained everything he was doing and why. My A/C doesnt know what hit it! Ron was very personable, professional, knowledgeable, and really seemed to enjoy his job! I would not hesitate to have him back again in 6 months to do the whole process over again! UPDATE: My A/C had its 6 month check by Scott today, he was very nice, professional, and did a very thorough job taking care of the maintenance on the A/C. Worked on the unit inside and out and showed me things that needed attention to keep my 9yr old Trane running strong for years to come.

    The service of the unit that Island Aire installed has been very good to excellent. It has been an overall good company to work with. The system that was sold to me unfortunately has had many problems related to the industry changing from copper to aluminum parts, which has caused some major problems with Freon leaks. I don’t think it was this company’s fault however. My belief is, like everything else today, cheap parts and very little quality control of China products.

    I purchased a 3 ton Comfortmaker unit on 6/19/17. From Ray the sales guy through the installation and final inspection, Island Aire have been true professionals. My home has never felt cooler due to their ductwork fix and I will gladly recommend them to friends and family. Kevin M.GREAT COMPANY!!! How do you tell a great company from a good one? What happens when a problem occurs. I had routine maint. on my AC unit and the service tech dislodged the drain line causing water damage to that outside wall. Matthew the owner, listened to my problem, didnt try to weasel out of responsibility, and had his techs repair the wall that was damaged. He negotiated with me a repair for my water damaged dresser and never once refused to deal with the problem. It is SO NICE to find an honest and reputable AC company and I have highly recommended them to family and friends. Island Aire is one of those companies you want to keep for a long time (see my reverse post for Gulf Shore Cooling and the 10 years of expense and aggravation they put me through. GSC response was SO SORRY, you trusted us, our bad!)A note of caution for new residents, DONT take the bait for a cheap (or free) AC maintenance visit. Island Aire does it thoroughly and professionally. The other guys make their money by finding stuff wrong or replacing expensive parts, whether they need it or not. Much smarter to pay a fair price to a reputable company to do it RIGHT! Just had my yearly professional clean and adjustments. Island Aire does a thorough job and DONT try to upsell a bunch of overpriced add ons! Do yourself a favor and try an honest HVAC company. You WONT regret giving them your business.
