    Our dealings with Bos Electric was top notch from start to finish!Our sales person, Mike was great. He showed up early and went over everything he was going to look at and get us a quote. We had a quote before he left. He explained how the generator would function and how the process would be from purchase to install.Roger and Coco were awesome!! They were both very friendly and professional. They kept us informed of their progress while installing our new Generac whole home generator. They answered our questions and, even though we knew they would be shutting power off at least a couple of times, they took the time to make sure they let us know each time so we could make sure we were prepared. (computer documents saved, coffee made, etc.)Neptali handled burying our propane tank and he was just as good! He didnt destroy our yard and cleaned up afterwards so that the ground was level again and ready to regrow grass. He also let us know when he was ready to test so that we knew the power was going out briefly. No Surprise!, youre power is going to go out again for testing!! He was professional and always smiling while telling us what was going on!I highly recommend Bos Electric for your generator needs!! Whole home Generators are not cheap, they are an investment. We shopped our original quote, and we got quotes that were substantially less...until we actually gave them all the details of what we wanted so that it was apples to apples, which started the add on process. Guess what, the price gap disappeared faster than Houdini!! Bos Electric is also a one stop shop for Generators...I did not have to shop around for a different company to handle the propane install. With Bos, we also own our tank, so there are no tank lease payments and the tank will convey to the new owner should we ever sell our home or it passes down to our kid.It is a pretty good size investment for peace of mind during a power outage caused by someone hitting a transformer or the worst, having to ride out a hurricane...make sure you use someone you can trust to do the job right! I will recommend Bos every time!!

    My experience with Bo’s Electric to install a standby generator has been excellent from the beginning. Salesman Mike Holmes went over the selection and process, confirming the selection of a Briggs and Stratton generator. Dario was great in providing me all the documentation for my HOA and scheduling a timely appointment. The electricians, Roger and Coco came a day early which worked for me. They were efficient and helpful. Tom came out the next day to connect the generator to my natural gas line. He too was efficient and helpful. He showed me what would happen when I lose power. Bo’s has ensured this new Floridian will have peace of mind during hurricane season and beyond.

    One day installation went extremely well! Roger and Coco completed electrical installation with a minimum of downtime. Roger has every tool imaginable to make the installation go smooth and efficiently and would still take time to answer all my questions meanwhile, Neptali and crew installed the 500 gallon LP tank and gas lines. Both crews completed the work about the same time. Test run went well. Entire job went quick and easy and they cleaned up the area before leaving. All good!!

At my annual inspection they noticed some settling on my unit and Roger came out and leveled it up. Great service and friendly, professional associates.     I had Bo’s Electric and generators install a whole home generator couple yrs ago and it’s been fantastic always there when I need it. My electricians were Roger and coco an amazing team they know exactly what there doing! Bo’s should be proud to have a duo like these 2 men! Also had my gas technician Brandon who’s was just as great as Roger and coco,he did an outstanding job install my 500 gallon propane tank and all this was performed in 1 day! I highly recommend this install team if you’re having a whole home generator installed! Bo’s is the BEST in the BIZ! Thank you so much!!

    The team from Bo’s was outstanding. Roger called yesterday and explained the plan. They arrived at 6:30 just like they said they would. Roger kept me informed as he said he would. Everything came out better than expected. Roger and Coco were the electricians and Nepali was the gas technician. I could not of asked for a better team. I would recommend Bo’s because of these 3 guys.

    The salesperson was very knowledgable and on time. The installation was excellent. They cleaned up and the work looks neat. The office is a different story.....and that is why I took a star off. Its hard to get a hold of anyone in the office. Whether you are calling regarding install, service related questions, or even billing..... it just seems they have either poor management in that area or just not enough people. I love the generator. It worked during Helene and Milton so for that I am extremely grateful and happy.

    Hurricane Milton hit us hard! Generator failed! GeneraX who did the install LEFT the state, the whole company left! They did that during hurricane Irma too! When you need them they can’t be found!Did a Google search and found Bo’s Electric. I called, got their answering service and Tracy from Bo’s called me back within 5 minutes ON A SUNDAY night! She tirelessly worked with me and in less than 24 hours, an AMAZING tech (can’t spell his name) came out and fixed my generator within 10-15 minutes!!! I can’t say enough good things about these guys!! I love them so much I signed a 3 year contract for service! I know I can count on them in my time of need and you can too!Don’t be fooled or sweet talked by other companies who don’t give a damn about you!! Use a company that breaks their buns for you even if you’re not an established customer! You will not go wrong with Bo’s and their wonderful and helpful staff. God Bless you Tracy!

    We had an amazing experience with Bos Electric during Hurricane Milton. Our regular service had to be rescheduled due to emergencies and unfortunately our generator went out after less than 24 hours. Jasmine, not a technician, who was helping out during the storm, spent an hour on the phone with us trying to get our error code resolved. When we couldnt fix it, she made sure we had a service call that night. Deivid Marquez showed up at 8:15 pm, helpful and cheerful after working over a 12 hour day and got us up and running! Amazing! Thank you! We highly recommend Bos Electric.

    This was a very seamless process, from purchase to HOA documentation for approval to installation. Roger and Coco made quick work of the electrical with only a short power outage (but be prepared for them to have an early start).     We had Bo’s electric and generators come out and install a whole home generator Roger the electrician gave me a call the night before went over everything with me on what was going to take place on installing the generator. He showed up on time, bright and early ready to work. Roger and Coco, the electricians did a very nice job cleaning up their mess and installing our new Generac generator. We are so glad we had this crew to our install of our new whole home generator. Neptali the Gas tech did a very nice job installing the tank. This is a wonderful company so glad we chose them for our new install of our generator. We will recommend them to friends and family and anyone we talk to looking for a generator..     This past week just had the propane tank and generator installed by Bos. Everything went smoothly, the electricians, Roger and Coco did an excellent job, and the gas technician Neptali did a great job and even linked up my existing kitchen gas line to the 500-gallon tank. The whole team worked well together, there was a lot of hand trenching required but everything was back filled, and the landscaping rock put back. Everyone worked clean and left no mess. On completion I was shown what had been done and everything looks very neat. I am very pleased with the result. Happy to finally have the complete home system in place, just waiting for the truck to come and fill the tank now. I would recommend Bos, they seem to be very professional, and the standard of work is exceptional.

    Recently during Helene and Milton I noticed my whole house generator was not functioning properly. I contacted Bo’s and Austin the technician came out. It appeared to be a wire on the starter. Austin got it running and tested it then Milton hit and it was acting up. Austin had given me a direct line to him in case. Austin is professional and knowledgeable and I have to say he continued to take my calls and text. He also troubleshot the issues and provided the other technicians with information and parts that maybe needed. Austin is a true Asset to Bo’s team thank you Austin for your true dedication and commitment to solving the problems.

    I had bos electric and generator install my whole home generator and all I can say is WOW Roger the electrician is amazing,called night before and went over on detail and said they would arrive early and they showed up exactly like he said. The job came out just like he explained no hiccups or anything. Tom my neighbor recommended thise team and Im so glad I had them for my install. Roger and coco cleaned up their mess and left the job cleaner than when they showed up and you would never know they were even here except theres a generatorthere there now. Bos should be very PROUD of these 2 men!! Nepali did outstanding job also cleaned up and did nice clean work.     From start to finish my experience for my standby generator installation was a pleasure. Mike Holmes started it by switching my Generac mentality to a Briggs & Stratton with a 10 year bumper to bumper warranty. Then it was Roger and Coco for the Generator and electrical box installation that did clean, phenomenal work. Then Brandon & Tom finished everything by burying the propane tank and showing me the startup process. I am so RELIEVED to have backup power if we lose electric for 3 hours or 10 days!     Roger and Coco did an excellent job doing the electrical part of the installation of our Briggs and Stratton On demand generator. And Roger went above and beyond helping me with getting answers when I couldn’t get the office to call me back with a time line on installation of our gas tank. Tom also did an excellent job getting our gas tank buried and hooked up and making sure generator was operating correctly. We were a little disappointed with the time it took from the time we signed our contract and complete installation and the lack of communication from the office.

    Roger my electrician, his assistant Coco and Brandon my gas technician arrived before the sun was up. I was greeted by my first name. They kept me informed along the installation process and gave me a heads up when my power would be shut off. They were done with their installation way before noon!     Bos electric continues to stand by their reputation. There was a delay in the ordering, and when Bos received this feedback, I was told they hired 2 people to help improve the responsiveness. The highest quality, in particular, was the installation process. The team provided a white-gloved service approach, represented by Roger, Coco, and Neptali. I had some questions after the fact and Roger face timed me to walk me through what I needed. Thank you team!

    We had we had Bose electric and generators come out and install a 24KW Generac generator for our standby power. Roger electrician And electrician did an outstanding job on our install and pulling 220 feet of wire to the generator. I would highly recommend this team if you’re looking to get a generator and I would highly recommend both electric and generators for your standby power needs. Neotali The gas tech did an outstanding job. He also assisted Roger and Coco on the 220 foot. Wire pull.     UPDATED:Today we had Roger and Coco come to install our Generator and complete the electrical part of the installation. I have worked with tradespeople for many years. These guys have got it together and set the gold bar as far as quality of service. They went right it, double-checked their work and left the area immaculate when they were done. In fact, if it werent for the generator now sitting next to the house, you would never know they were here. Great job guys and thanks to Bos Electric for ending out this team for our installation.7/23/24 Brandon let the crew to install our 500 gal LP underground. We had already planned to be away this day, but trusted them to do the job right. First thing we were amazed at is how little disturbance theres to the yard installing the tank. Then to top it off they followed a path with the gas line to that again created little disturbance. Not hoping for any neighborhood issues, but we know have peace of mind in the event of power loss. Thanks for the great installation and the continuing communications.

    The entire installation experience was fantastic! Three crews arrived, the electrical team (Roger and Coco), the gas team (Neptali) and the trenching team.Communications from all of the teams were great, the workmanship was all first class. The entire installation was completed without a single hitch! All necessary testing was done smoothly for both the county as well as for me.While excavating for the buried propane tank an unexpected sprinkler line was found to be in the way. The team rerouted the sprinkler line, and tested the system before leaving.As a licensed Professional Engineer, I have overseen the installation of hundreds of generators in my career, and this team met or exceeded all of my expectations.

    After suffering through Hurricane Ian, we made the decision to get a generator. As planned, it came on-line in the middle of Hurricane Milton, and has run issue free for almost 48 hours. We have AC, all refrigerators are operating, we have hot showers, its incredible.Certainly a great investment considering what we threw away during the last storm. We saved $100s in food alone.Thank you!

    Update I returned to my house the morning after Milton. My power was out and generator was running. After a hour it stopped said low flow. I just had it installed 4 months before hurricane. I called Bo Electric as I would restart it and it would stop after 20 minutes. Tries to get service and was told we have to get to people without power and there generator is not running. I said that is me and it is only 4 months old. Given appointment on 10/23A whopping 10 days after power out. Not what I was sold but we will see if they get it to work right in the future.

    Extremely happy with the installation of my new generator from Bos Electric. From the salesman to the final installation, everyone was professional and the the estimate was the final price. Having done plumbing and electrical when I was younger, I will tell you the installers (Roger, Coco, Nepatali, and Tom) were thorough in following state codes and best practices. Absolutely satisfied with the quality of their work!Often when you see a review like this, your assumption is that quality comes at a premium price. After getting four estimates from the other major generator companies in the area, Bos was also the best price. When you do as many installations in a year as they do, clearly you can optimize your work to reduce costs.Ted

    When shopping around for a NG tie in generator we got quotes from all the local companies but ended up going with Bo’s electric and we could not have been more happy.Our salesman Matthew Joaquim was excellent. He was on time for every appointment and was easy to keep in contact with throughout the entire process.Our install generator team Roger and Coco were quick and efficient and were super knowledgeable. Our natural gas installer Neptali was great and super hard working. Could not have anything better to say as they were on time and early which you rarely find in the trades. Make sure you request these installers.I will for sure use Bo’s electric for anything generator related in the future. This was the easiest project ive ever had done to my home and do not regret it one bit.

    My experience started out positively with salesman Frank K. Frank told me about the process and that Bo’s has a streamlined permitting process, and that I could expect completion within 6-8 weeks of deposit. He also stated to me “ I’m your guy from start to finish, and even after installation. If you have issues call me, I’ll get on it”. It took 12 weeks for installation, and once my down payment was received, Frank became rather unresponsive. I had to reach out to others in the company for updates. Frank talks a good game, but then fades off.As far as the installation crew, they were fabulous.Roger, Coco, and Brandon were very efficient. Roger (electrician) is especially responsive, he has become my go to, since Frank turned out to be a let down. I give 4 stars due to my disappointment and unresponsiveness of Frank. The install team gets 5 stars.

    I had a great team for my install - Roger, Coco & Brandon. They were truly the A team and overcame some misinformation provided by the sales guy. Roger called the night before and explained the challenge but kept looking for a solution. Even though it wasnt exactly what was sold to me, I ended up with the best possible solution. The install team was great, took time to explain everything and did a nice clean job.

    Weve had a few issues with the communication through different departments to get our generator online and running. But after working with Roger Wierengo, I believe another employee Coco (I think that is his name), and Tom Loring we were able to get this issue repaired.As for the stand itself it is extremely ugly and being that the generator is in my front yard, I feel we should have been told what the stand would looked like. Roger did what he had to do so I have no problem with his work. I just wish Bos, who knew our generator was in the front of our house, would have let us know how unappealing it would be.Im glad we finally have the generator running but I wish I never would have agreed to having it put on that ugly stand.I would also like to mention David Marquez who had talked to my husband about getting the job finished ASAP.

    I would give them 5 stars instead of four, but as usual what the salesman says while enticing you to buy always falls short of what they deliver. In this case it wasn’t a huge deal, fortunately for me. I was told they could get it done faster than any other company in the area. Most companies told me it would be close to 16 weeks due to the permitting. The Bo’s salesman told me he could get not only the permitting done, but the installation done as well in 6-8 weeks. We also had some issues with the exhaust configuration, but again, it all worked out for the best.On the day of installation (which was 12 weeks from the time I sighed and gave them a deposit) Roger knocked on the door and went over the installation with me. Once I got past the empty promises made by the salesman, and the fact of the impossibility of reaching someone at the office for weeks, Roger performed and presented himself in the most professional and technologically sophisticated manner that any home owner could want for. He and his crew worked proficiently and expeditiously through the heat and the rain to complete the project by noon, and it looks, sounds, and operates amazingly. I can’t be happier. Roger and Coco handled the electrical and Neptali handled the gas. Amazing team that got the job done right. The only complaint I have relative to the install is that the gas line coming in at the tank covers up a portion of the fuel gage making it hard to read.Sales and Production have always been at odds in any company you deal with. Salesmen are commissioned and will say whatever they need to in order to make a sale. Fortunately, this company did make an effort in the end to clarify and address all of my concerns, giving me enough confidence to move forward with them, and I’m so glad I did. I would highly recommend Bo’s Electric and the intall team of Roger, Coco and Neptali. These installers were definitely 5 STARS.

    We purchased a whole-house generator from Bo’s Electric for our home in Bonita Springs. The purchase, permitting, and install were flawless and we left Bonita Springs in late May for our residence in Ohio. This summer electrical work at our neighbor’s house disrupted our power and FP&L removed our meter due to a safety concern. We were over 1,000 miles away, so Bo’s electrician, Roger, was our first call. Roger and his team coordinated communication between the other company, FP&L, and us. He made numerous trips to our home to check on the generator which ran non-stop for three days. He personally made sure the safety issue at our service box was addressed and met with FP&L’ personnel to get our power restored. Roger’s attention to detail and persistence was exceptional. His commitment to us as a customer was amazing. Thanks, Roger.

    Chose Bos because I wanted an authorized gernerator dealer electrical contractor and I trust the Briggs and Straton name. From estimate to deposit through dreaded permit process I was kept informed. Installation was within 90 days of contract and professional install was completed same day. I am pleased with my decision but time will tell.

    I just had an install to upgrade my existing 25 year old system. First off it was fast, easy, and well done they were prompt and courteous. I was away for the most of it and the communication was very professional they sent pics and video. The area was tidy, and I was happy with the smaller size of the new unit. The electrical team Roger and Coco made everything much more streamlined. and to make sure I was up and running Neptali the gas tech came out even though it had started rain heavily.     I am a current customer of service as well as a customer of installed products. I will begin by saying Bos work is Top Notch A+. My Electricians Roger & Coco, (sounds like a night club act), shouldnt be in the field. Their customer service skills should elevate them into running their department. As electricians, what matters is they rocked this place. They explained the whole process A-Z. They were here for a while, so kept me updated. Answered any questions, didnt make me feel ?, for asking, and followed up when they didnt know.Installation of all equipment was professional. Permitting obviously takes forever, but not something controlled by them or me. Site was always left clean between work hours, except the grass where the huge tank is buried, but an easy fix.I guess only thing missing was more communication. Ie: I wanted more work done, asked for quotes, and never received those. Thats OK, They did what I hoped them to do exceptionally well. I wouldnt install a generator without checking with Bos first and last.

The two electricians, Roger and Coco were very polite, professional and took the time to thoroughly explain everything and were very detail oriented.     We are writing this review to say thank you to an excellent company from the person handling the phone calls to their technician who serviced our generator. If we could give you 10 star review we would. We have a 20k whole house Briggs & Stratton generator that was installed by another company in 2019. It never worked and our permit was never closed because of this issue. Despite several phone calls and 2 major hurricanes it still didn’t work. To make a long story short, Bo’s electric came and our generator was never wired right and they rewired the unit, a new AVR and battery and our generator is working!!! Angel was very accommodating moving my husbands motorcycle that was in the way of our breaker box. There was no way that I would have been able to move that motorcycle, and my husband was not home.     We had our generator installed by another company, long story short our generator stopped working and it was a warranty issue. The company that installed our generator told us after a month of waiting for them to repair that they were no longer going to service generators and told us to call Bos Electric.     Our generator installation went smoothly. We were told to prepare for a 4 hour power interruption - Roger and Coco completed that phase in 20 minutes. They know their stuff, and thoroughly explain each and every part of the install. I contacted Steve and a crew came out the next day a fixed it. All in all it was a very positive experience for us.     Your team did a great job on the installation of our new generator. The personnel in the office is great as well. Very good to work with. The only down side was the setting up of the exercise time. I was originally told by the installer that it should run for 10 minutes every Tuesday at 2:00 PM. It took 3 weeks and a tech to come back twice to make it happen. And he said 5 minutes is good in lieu of 10 minutes. Maybe a little more training to get everyone on the same page.

    From initially speaking and meeting with Steve and then meeting and watching his crew install our whole house generator in August 2019 it was an exceptional experience. They have complete knowledge of what we needed with no “oversell”. The installation process was relatively problem free including the inspection. The system works flawlessly as proved on Easter Sunday 2020. The transformer in front of our home blew and within 10 seconds our generator fired up and the whole house was fully powered for the next 5 hours while FPL was called to replace the transformer. 10 homes in our community were without power. After that 2 of our neighbors contacted Bo’s Electric to purchase their generators. My wife and I are completely satisfied with Bo’s Electric and highly recommend them for your generator needs.

    Well, there are professionals and then there are PROFESSIONALS!!! We were looking to purchase a standby generator, shopped around and talked to neighbors. Many homes in our area had already installed one but we had noticed that in almost all cases it took forever to get their job completed. Then one day I saw an army of work trucks pull up by a house down our street and wondered what was happening. Come to find out they were installing a standby generator. I was accustomed to seeing a truck and a couple of guys but here, we had an army! By the next day, the entire job was done and I have to say, I was impressed. This was exactly what I was looking for. Long story short, I contacted Bos Electric and at the same time, I advised my neighbor whom I knew also wanted one and in a cinch, both of us purchased an install. Three weeks later, both of our houses were installed. Took one and a half day at each house and by the time the army left, if it wasnt for the generator box on the side of the house, no one could say anything had happened. CHARLES, ANGEL, JARRETT AND AARON were simply awesome, worked fast and efficiently, aimed to go above and beyond and left the place immaculate. I also have to say that the Backhoe operator, sorry I did not get his name, was really skilled at his trade! All in all, a fantastic experience. These guys know their business!!

    Since we are now year round residents of Pine Island, we wanted an in-home generator system installed for periods of bad weather. BOs electric came highly recommended to us from local residents. They came out and did a survey and provided an complete estimate of the project. They took care of all permits and inspections. We had a 20 KW generator installed along with a 500 gallon in-ground propane tank. The job was done quickly and as professionally as I could have possibly asked for. BOs took care of everything including having the propane tank filled as part of the installation. The job looked great when they were done...even down to re-landscaping the hole where the propane tank was buried. Workers were fast, efficient and very friendly. BOs made sure we were well schooled in the operation of our system and has been out twice to tweak it when it does its weekly 5-8 minute run up. We couldnt have asked for a better or more professional job. Would recommend them in a heartbeat.

    If the current active storm season has you rethinking a whole house generator – as it did us – I highly recommend Steve Hayden and Bos electric. After receiving a number of estimates, we chose Bo’s Electric. Largely because the owner, Steve Hayden, came out personally to survey and quote the job. Steve was pleasant, patient, knowledgeable and helpful; and his quote was reasonable. We live in Gateway and because there is no gas or propane utility, we also purchased a 500 gallon propane tank in addition to the 20kw, Briggs and Stratton generator. This was a major project: digging up the yard and burying the propane tank, installing the generator, and all the ancillary electrical work. In addition, they took care of the permits and provided the paperwork necessary for HOA approval. Bo’s was very neat and precise in their work. Everyone was professional, respectful and accommodating from beginning to end. Could not have been happier nor more impressed; not to mention the peace of mind! If you’re getting serious about a whole house generator, I highly recommend Steve Hayden and Bo’s Electric.

    Our experience with Bo’s Electric was one of the best we have had with any company ever. From our initial meeting with Steve and his estimate to final completion of our whole house emergency generator system, the experience was outstanding. We first understood it would be appx. 4-5 weeks after our initial deposit, so what a surprise to get a call 2 days later on a Thursday to tell us they would be at our residence the following Monday (5days) later! As reported, in previous reviews, they came with their Army…Matt and Angel for the electric, David and Derek for the propane tank and install and I believe Bob with the excavator. These guys were all very pleasant to talk to and extremely professional. The job was complete in under two days including permit sign off. This was unbelievable and something I wasn’t use to seeing. They also put a new propane line stubbed off to our kitchen for the new “pro gas cooktop” that my wife really had been hoping for within this timeframe.     Great company to work with, buying and having a generator installed for the first time, is a confusing project.You all took the time to explain what was entailed and the advantages of this purchase.The team installing the generator kept me advised of each step. When I noticed that 2 curbing pieces had not been replaced after installation, I told the young man who’s only job was installing a gas hose about this, he replaced them by digging in the soil so the would match the others. At the height of the hurricane I called Bos E;ectric and the owner Steve answered the phone. He PATIENTYLY walk me through the process of resetting my generator. He told me that, if possible, someone would be out the next day to check up with me. Even though half of the street lights were still out, Bos showed up the next day.     Honestly dealing with Head Office was painful with unanswered calls (something to do with their phone system directing calls to an Atlanta Head Office and not being forwarded). I even had to go in person to the Fort Myers office to try to figure out what was happening. If it was based only on that it would have been 2 stars.
