We called due to a complete drain blockage in our kitchen sink. Within the hour, Calin was here. He asked a few questions, got his gear, and immediately set about fixing the issue. We have a challenging under-sink setup and had a solid clog, and he was still able to snake everything with ease. He then demonstrated how fast the sink drained with the newly cleaned lines several times & cleaned up the whole area when he was done. great work, 10/10, wed definitely recommend!

We finally realized the drain may be clogged so called Roto Rooter. Calin showed up within an hour and had the line cleared shortly thereafter. Great experience! I had a great experience working with David P. We have a complicated and annoying outdoor French drain system and he was honest and transparent the whole time about how difficult it could be to target the problem that is beyond unclogging the drain. I felt like my best interest was in mind and I even had follow up questions and concerns and he was able to come back out to take another look at what was wrong. All in all we have more answers and now know to reach out to roto rooter for other (hopefully more straight forward) plumbing troubles in the future.

1. My appointment window, 7/10/19, 11am-3pm, was missed. I did not receive a phone call from anyone to explain why no one had called me during this period. Shortly after 4pm, I contacted the dispatch/scheduling center in the Chicago area (I believe), discussed my need with the dispatch representative, and suggested a process improvement for consideration: If dispatch/scheduling knows that area plumbers are busy, someone should contact the owner to discuss the availability problem in the area. I also told dispatch that I was expecting relatives on 7/11 and I was willing to wait for anyone available in my area.2. At around 7:45 pm, Mr. Chris Boughal showed up. He looked tired but he was ready to begin my service appointment. We reviewed what the problem was, i.e., replace the leaking line valves and replace the faucet.3. The existing line valves were situated smack behind the garbage disposal. I agreed that it should be removed to allow him access to the water lines.4. The new faucet install was impaired by the configuration of the existing sink drain air lines that looped exactly where the new faucet lines appeared below the sink. I observed Mr. Boughal make several attempts to secure the faucet to the sink without success. He explained the problem he was having; I agreed that he can re-configure the drain air lines to accommodate the new faucet lines install.5. Our home was constructed in 1990. I explained to Mr.Boughal that we have plans to remodel the entire kitchen in about 2-3 years. However, for now he would have to work around or suggest changes to the existing plumbing configuration below the sink.6. Throughout the entire repair process, Mr. Boughal was positive, cheerful and respectful. My job was not a walk-in-the-park. Mr. Boughal had sweat beads on his forehead through most of repair process. My wife was very pleased with the cleanup he did when the project was finished.7. We are totally satisfied.8. I want to also add that the dispatcher I spoke with at the Roto-Rooter center was very respectful when I called to explain my problem. After I told him that I was willing to wait until a plumber was available in my area, he told me he would monitor my area and someone would call me about 30 minutes out from my location. I did receive a call from the dispatch center to inform me a plumber should arrive in 30-40 minutes.

Great service!!! He was very professional. My only problem is that I am in the wrong business. He was there 15- minute and most of the time he was dealing with his paper work. It took less than 2- minute to unclog the toilet. The cost for this was $390.00 after taxes. Like I said, I should have been a plumber.

I cannot say enough good things about Roto-Rooter. My experience with them was extremely positive. They were able to come out the day my problem started and resolved it so that I could at least use my toilet by the end of the day. They did the necessary follow up work and even came out three weeks later when the problem occurred again. My house is old, so is the Plumbing and they have explained to me why the problem occurred and what needed to be done to fix. They were very patient explaining exactly what was wrong and what it would take to repair it. They arrived on time, quickly assessed the problem, and provided clear explanations for what went wrong and how to avoid the problem in the future. The price to unclogging the drain was a bit higher than I anticipated but about average national cost, and unfortunately the issue was a blocked septic inlet baffle which increased the cost compared to the initial estimate because they needed to dig up access to the septic system. After they applied a $75 coupon to discount the visit the initial estimate to unclog was ~$250, which increased to ~$400 due to the additional work, plus tax. Overall, Im happy with the speed and quality of work they did and information they provided so I know how to avoid the problem in the future and/or mitigate it myself if the same issue occurs again.

He walked me through where the problem existed on my current water heater and explained why it needed to be replaced. He was able to compete the installation within a couple hours despite not knowing a full replacement would need to be done. After installation he explained how to properly maintain my water heater so it would last.

We are a skilled nursing facility with 94 residents that need 24 hour care. At 2am we had shower drains back flowing into the facility living area as well as the kitchen. Our maintanence team called Roto Rooter and the service tech Barak came to our rescue. He was very professional, skilled, and quick to get things done, but thorough as well. He cleared the main sewer line to the street with the high pressure water jet, and also ran our kitchen lines which have been an ongoing problem. Did you know Roto-Rooters has a FREE Pet Rescue Service? I didnt know that until today!Our cat, Loki, had the bright idea to JUMP off our 2nd story balcony and run off. My partner and I have been worried sick, went out looking for him day and night, put of fliers. Everything.THEN WE FOUND LOKI!However, that wasnt as easy as it sounds. It turned out he was hiding in a storm drain pipe about 50 ft from our porch. We had already check there several times, but this time when we shined the flash light down there, we saw the flash of eyes before he disappeared further down the pipe where we couldnt see him. A good lesson to keep checking places youve already checked!The pipe was too small for a human to fit, and we had no idea how to get him out. Everything we could think of (calling for him, food, treats, laser points, etc) had no effect.Turns out Roto-Rooters are the hero today! They sent Jason C. out to us in under an hour on a Saturday. Jason C didnt have a long enough camera, so they called in Farnood on his day off and he came out to help too! With his 200 ft long camera, we were able to find Loki in the drain, and herd him most of the way out. Unfortunately, right at the end, there was a hump the camera couldnt get over, and we couldnt get Loki out the last 5 ft. In the end, Roto-Rooters called in a third tech, Kenny, with a pressure hose, and with low pressure we were able to send water down the pipe to gently encourage Loki into the cat carrier we had at the end. By the time we got him in the crate, there were 7 of use (me, my partner, 3 guys from Roto-Rooters, and 2 Everett police officers) helping out. After being lost for 48 hrs, he is now safely home!I dont know that Ive ever been so impressed with a free service and the lengths they went to help us reunite with Loki. Today has been a happy day!

I was very concerned when I discovered that my shower had standing water. I called Roto Rooter and a technician was on site within three hours. He was professional courteous and got the drain cleared. At that time it was suspected that I might have a larger problem which was confirmed the next morning using the camera. The root infiltration of my sewer line was cleared with hydro jet and clean out installed on schedule within two days. Gio was courteous and very helpful. Unfortunately I also had a toilet that was not sitting flush and securely on the floor and also needed to be repaired. The service technician Sam Leonte was on time, knowledgeable and completed the repair in budget. I am very happy with Roto Rooter. Highly recommend them.

Wow, what a great experience! After a frustrating morning trying to fix some thing ourselves, we caved and called a few places that were all booked up. Roto -rooter was able to come within the hour, and when the initial drain specialist was not able to solve the problem, they did not charge us one penny. They offered to send a plumber later in the day and William was so extremely helpful! What we thought was one problem turned out to be something completely different and now our pipes (and sanity!) are in a much better place than just a few hours ago. We will definitely call again in the future!

I applaud Roto-rooter for being fast when we had a toilet back up into the house at 9pm. They were here next morning by 10am. Had the clog cleared in about 45 minutes. I thought almost $600 including tax was a little steep however he did have to haul all the equipment into the crawl space since thats were the clean out access was so maybe thats a typical price. That price also included them using their camera to check for pipe issues and sure enough our sewer line from the house to the street had split and only about an inch opening remained and was just catching all the debris. Roto-rooter did provide a free estimate for repairs and because the split was underneath our front concrete step their bid was $17,850 plus tax which I thought was into the stratosphere high but again Im not in the business. My father in law and I got it repaired for a couple hundred bucks in parts, tools and hard work.

Had a sewage clog. Roto-Rooter fixed. But two weeks later, it returned. Had a camera guy inspect it and discovered a clog he couldnt get past with his endoscope. He called in Austin (#035) who came in promptly. Austin spent nearly 5 hours working on the issue with both his 11/16 inch cable and Camera, both clearing the clog, and discovering a defect in our piping that we were unaware of and had not been previously found. Austin was polite, extremely competent, highly diligent, and a pleasure to work with. Overall, Roto-Rooter is a company that we would be glad to work with again.

William came out to help hook up a laundry room sink that I had switched out the plastic tub originally in the space. I needed to have the drain installed in the sink and all of it connected to the drain in the wall. The new sink had a drain that was much further forward than the previous sink making the connection more work. William found a way to make it work and also paid close attention to having the drain installed so it would function properly and also take up the least amount of space under the sink for storage and ease of use. Arrived well within the four hour time window I was told and cleaned out the inside of the cabinet after finishing the install. Would recommend and would use again!

My problem was a clogged footing drain. A stain on a downstairs bedroom carpet led me to wonder if the drain-line running along the outer wall might be letting moisture seep under the concrete floor slab, which did have a crack in it. Roto Rooter tech Steve Kelly arrived and videoed the line, marking a possible defect area. He suggested digging down to determine condition of the drain, which I had done several days later. The line was fine and running water through it from the downspout access resulted in NO water leakage. I really appreciated Steves expertise finding and marking this area. He was professional and efficient yet friendly and informative. Also Roto Rooters charge was $500 LESS than another quote I had received for the same type of video evaluation, and I received same-day service rather than wait another 3 weeks. Water restoration tech Shannon Palmer arrived and determined there was NO moisture in any interior surface of the bedroom. There was no charge for her visit. I now have peace of mind and will be replacing carpet and pad after concrete floor crack is sealed. I strongly recommend Roto Rooter for serving any plumbing needs. Pricing is very fair and response time is outstanding. A great company in our community.

Our sewer line, near the clean out, caused our system to backup. We called Roto-Rooter on a Saturday afternoon and the plumber was here within 60 minutes. Scott was very professional and tried to clear the line but was unsuccessful. He did see that the sewer line at the clean out was cracked. He made arrangements for someone to come to the house at 11am on Sunday to assess any environmental damage under the house. The environmental assessment employee showed up Sunday and said that he would try and get a camera unit there ASAP. Carlos Martinez arrived with the camera and identified large holes in the clean out. He also identified years of built up sludge in the house sewer line and proceeded to clean it out. Carlos also got authorization to repair the broken pipe and began the dig on Sunday getting the area prepped for pipe replacement on Monday. He arrived on Monday after securing the building permit, and the balance of the repair took about 1 hour.Throughout this plumbing emergency (to my wife and me) the Roto-Rooter employees were caring, professional, arrived when they said they would and provided us a feeling of security. We cannot say enough about the efficiency of Carlos Martinez and his professionalism, knowledge and his continuous stressing of safety was outstanding. Thank You Roto-Rooter.

We had a pretty urgent situation when our basement toilet started backing up into our basement shower/tub. It was late and I didnt want to deal with someone coming out in the middle of the night, we had tried to snake the drain ourselves but the snake was too short. I set up a request with RotoRooter online and without realizing it I was making an appointment for them to come out, not just call with info. I got a message saying they would arrive between 8-12 the next day. That was slightly inconvenient because I needed to be somewhere at 11:15. When I called and talked to dispatch first thing in the morning they were able to give me a better estimate of arrival and when I mentioned that I didnt mean to make the appointment that I thought I was requesting a call back, they were able to rearrange the schedule and get a plumber out sooner so I could still make my appointment on time. Giovanni was the plumber that arrived and snaked my entire sewer drain for me. He originally offered to also give me a video scope of the line for a discounted price with any compromises marked in the yard. I said I just wanted it snaked for now and would do the video later. When he completed the snake he offered to give me the scope for free, without any guarantee and without any markings in the yard. I was ok with that and accepted the offer. It was good to see the state of my sewer line, and what appears to be original pipes to my 1926 house. The only negative thing I have is he got a little short with me when I failed to mention the backup valve that the city had installed. I didnt realize it was such a big deal as this was the first time I had ever called a plumber. He informed me that we are in dire need of new pipes, and maybe used a couple of scare tactics to try and book a $15,000 service. I understand our sewer line is old and needs replacing but telling me not to use toilet paper or my pipes might burst in a couple of days is a bit much.

I am very THANKFUL for AMAN ARMIN and LISA STEEVER! I called Roto Rooter because of a living room waterfall created by an upstairs leaking toilet. The flooding came thru the drywall and caused it to collapse.Within an hour, LISA, a water clean up project coordinator, had arrived at my house. I didnt know Roto Rooter did water damage restoration! She completed a damage inspection and coordinated with my home insurance company to begin repairs. She showed me on an infrared camera the extent of structural/property damage.Another 30 minutes later, AMAN arrived and not only showed me where my toilet had failed, but he quickly fixed it. In addition, he inspected the other bathrooms and showed me how my master bedroom toilet was ready to fail in the exact same way (cracked water fill valve)! He saved me from $1,000s of more in property damage.Both LISA and AMAN were friendly, professional, and empathetic. They made a bad situation tolerable by answering all of my questions and addressing my concerns. Additionally, they worked directly with my insurance company and contractors to coordinate the restoration.I wouldnt wish this situation on anyone, but I would highly recommend Roto Rooter. I worked extensively with Gio Gardner as Roto-Rooter’s lead. He was professional and knowledgeable and always available to talk through and answer any questions (I had many!). He went out of his way to meet me for convenient early appointments and helped locate all our sewer lines which were inaccurate on the city maps.This was originally an emergency call and Gio and the crew (including Leo) were responsive and did extensive pipe replacement (pipe bursting with lots of connections) fast and working in an extremely tight area. They all provided options for the work and we came up with the best plan for the project. I would call Gio again for future work!Thanks guys:)

We had a leak in our plumbing inside of the kitchen sink wall. I was working out of state in Alaska and my wife had to deal with the situation. She contacted Roto-Rooter based on their high ratings for service. The Service Technician arrived to repair the leak and corrected several issues I had with the plumbing. According to my wife, the technician was very polite, knowledgeable, efficient, and neat with his work. Upon my arrival back home, I had a chance to look things over and am very pleased with all of the repairs. Its comforting to know that I can trust Roto-Rooter to be there on short notice and efficiently correct and repair any plumbing situation encountered, even if I cant be home at the time. Had to have an outdoor faucet replaced which involved cutting thru the inside of the house. The job was done well and quickly. The overall charge seemed a little high but when a faucet is leaking, you dont have time to shop around and they were able to come out same day so that was a plus.

I had a blocked kitchen sink drain. I tried for hours to clear it myself with no success. I called in our regular plumber. He tried, but had no success as the clog was too far down the drain line (more than 25 feet) and suggested we call Roto-Rooter. Sam Deirdar was the service technician from Roto-Rooter. He did a great job in a quick time and cleared the obstruction.

My clog was so bad the first guy couldnt break it. So today I got to meet the Jetter. This diesel powered water jet monster had my drain line fixed in about 10 minutes.My Plumber was Steve Kelly. He was very professional and left me a thorough understanding of the condition of my drain line and what i need to do to keep it flushing like it should.I hope you dont have to call a plumber today. But if you do these guys are awesome.

Not only this company not charge for a service call, he also quote me much cheaper than another.For the job, I want to give him an extra star for cleaning up the site for me. Ryan was a consummate professional. He explained what needed to be done at each step, and the associated costs. He worked to solve our problems as quickly and inexpensively as possible. The work was high quality.I was a little hesitant to call Roto-Rooter because I thought of them as dealing with only clogged drains. They are hands-down the most professional plumbing organization with which we have dealt: scheduling, quality of work, ethics. I will call them again, and ask for Ryan, if I need plumbing help in the future.

Roto-Rooter Technician Mike Oliver serviced our Rinnai tankless water heater and showed me each step of the process. Mike obviously knew his equipment and impressed me with the depth of his knowledge of this complex piece of equipment. I saw the flakes of chemical buildup as he was removing and cleaning each of the components. I am convinced he saved us from premature replacement of our water heater by performing this service. He had asked when he came for another job about when we had last had the unit serviced and we realized it had been several years. I know he was getting another job for Roto-Rooter, but he also made me aware of how important this regular service can be to the life of your water heater. The company who installed it did not make this point, since they were only interested in selling me the unit. Mike probably saved me from having to replace this expensive unit years before its time. Good job Mike!
