They carefully explained the work that needed to be completed and why. I would highly recommend Eco, and if needed again, I will request the same crew.

TLDR: Eco Electric is fantastic and we could not recommend them enough. We hired them for HVAC, plumbing, and electric for our 99 yr old home. Every department was just as good as the last. The techs are always on time, finished each phase by their projected deadlines, and the communication is top notch. We were updated each day. They were always quick to answer if we had questions.Quote process: Nate spent hours at our house doing an evaluation for a rewire and heat pump. We are budget conscious people, and he was a great help working with us to balance scope and budget. The electric and HVAC work was straight forward, but our plumbing issues were nebulous so he pulled in a team member to assist.Aaron helped with plumbing, and just like our experience with Nate, he was very thorough and knowledgeable. Both took time to explain what was going on, how theyd repair it, what future maintenance would look like, and answer every question we had (and we had many).HVAC: Al and his team replaced our furnace and installed a heat pump. He was careful to plan placement with our future plans in mind.There were a few Old House Surprises that came up during install, but his team resolved them without issue. We were very happy with their work! This went so smoothly, dont think that because they didnt get as much of a write up as the other guys that we are any less happy with them.Electric: Eco has a team just for re-wires, and they are familiar with old homes. Connor and his team completely blew us away. THEY DRILLED LESS THAN 20 SMALL HOLES!!!! Anyone with lathe & plaster walls will understand how big a deal this is. Every hole is perfectly cut. If it was square, its level and measured. If theyre chasing a run every hole is perfectly in line. We have fantastic vintage wallpaper & these guys were able to completely work around it. In one room that needed everything done (four sconces and adding several outlets) you cant even tell they did work on the walls. It all looks like it was there before the wallpaper. They were very careful with our old fixtures. There were lots of small details we asked for & they nailed every one. If anything changed, they were great about reaching out for approval and feedback, we usually went with Connors suggestions. 100% Old Home ApprovedPlumbing: Our plumbing issues were weird & varied. Jameson & Clint tackled every item with cheerful enthusiasm. They were very knowledgeable & not daunted by the unique pipe situation the previous owner had concocted, or our houses quirky framing. When cutting holes they had the same attention to detail as Connors team. Jameson was great with all of our questions, keeping us informed of what he was finding & how they were fixing it. I want to mention specifically that we have a powder room with antique fixtures that needed love - these guys managed to find the right replacement pieces to rebuild our fixtures despite the company no longer existing. Any other plumber would have told us it cant be done. To say they went above and beyond at every point is an understatement.This next part might be weird to add to a good review but its my opinion that a company can do something right a hundred times, but the one time they make a mistake - how they recover speaks volumes more. There was one small accident during the project. Ecos managers reacted quickly to help guide us through what to do that night for immediate damage control (he offered to come out, but we had it covered), two managers came out the next day with the crew to determine cause and repair. They immediately took full accountability. Before we could even ask what next? had a plan to get back on track. Rest assured that in the unlikely event something goes awry, the Eco team will make it right.We were already happy with them, but how they handled this situation cemented what a great company they are to work with. We immediately asked to do more work with that department, so weve put our money where our mouth is when we say that we would hire them again, and would recommend you do too.

Edwin was wonderful!After having been treated dubiously by two different technicians - one who hadnt even come out to see our hot water heater and electrical set up, and another who did but actually LAUGHED in my face at the idea of what my land-liege wanted - Edwins professionalism was a breath of fresh air. He even put on little booties before coming into the unit!After one of his co-workers called out, Edwin traveled to see me on almost no notice. He looked at the water heater, the breaker box, and even my buildings electrical room and gave us his educated opinion of us switching to a tankless water heater and other options.We felt both listened to and respected, which was nice for a change. Also, he was just a nice young man.As unpleased as I was with setting an alarm for my day off and being told that I wouldnt be getting an early appointment after all, Edwins knowledge and graciousness made up for it.I strongly recommend Edwin.

Weve used Eco Electric and Plumbing to install a 240V heater in our garage and recently had them install a new sub-panel and electric car charger. Josh and Fred were an amazing team, they were both friendly and professional and made sure we were happy with the location of the charger before completing the installation. We thought the job would take all day but they finished it in 4 hours and it looks great and functions perfectly. And we were still able to work in our home offices because they never even had to kill the main power to the house, this was a pleasant surprise for my girlfriend and I. We will definitely continue to use Eco in the future, they are always great about communication and a pleasure to work with. Also, the communication from this company is amazing. When you call, they pick up the phone, and every time weve had work doen they confirm the day before by phone and text. The day of the appointment, the technician texts you to let you know they are on their way to your address. To me that is above and beyond and really makes a huge difference. Thanks Eco!!!

Great experience with Eco. We had a clogged pipe that we were concerned was caused by root intrusion or concrete section collapse. Turns out it was caused by something that shouldnt have been flushed down the toilet. Aaron was great to work with and took his time explaining the root cause and fixes. He also showed us photos of trouble areas in our 100 year old pipes and suggested a long term fix. We were back up and running within 24 hours and now we know what we need to do to preserve our plumbing!

Identified a faulty gasket, had the part on hand, repaired the sink and the whole thing took less than an hour.10/10 - timeliness (worked out in my favor for sure) - professionalism - cost effective. So far we have had a free home evaluation of our electrical system after contacting Eco Electric and Plumbing for what we thought was a relatively small problem with a few switches. Edwin came to the house exactly at the time anticipated and did a complete assessment of our home’s electrical circuitry. He was extremely thorough and carefully explained to us the reasons why our knob and tube wiring needs to be replaced and went over the details and rationale for all the other upgrades required. He was very friendly, and I felt I learned a lot from his very clear explanations. Because this turned out to be a much bigger and more expensive project than we had anticipated, we will seek multiple bids, but I was very impressed with Edwin’s thorough evaluation and explanation of his findings and description of what will be necessary to bring our electrical system up to code. Eco Electrical & Plumbing was very well represented by Edwin, and I hope we will find the cost estimate competitive with other bids so we can hire EE&P for this job.

Wow. Edwin spent a significant amount of time thoroughly inspecting and reviewing our electrical system for a on-demand water heater. Long and short of it our condo cant handle the new load on our electrical system and gas is not available. Damn Im thinking. But wait. Edwin to the rescue. He excused himself and went down to his car. He consulted with his office and offered three viable alternatives that would solve our problem. We went over each and the reasoning behind them. And I chose one. All this while our carpet is being professionally and noisily cleaned, feet away. Edwin was gracious in assisting in getting a couple things moved before hand. Genuine guy.
