I recently had the pleasure of partnering with Pure-Line Plumbing to help with renovations to my 1940s home that needed various plumbing updates. I say partner because that is the experience of working with the team at Pure-Line Plumbing. Pure-Line has enough staff to meet commitments if needed but they try to keep the one service professional in charge of your job doing the work. I worked with Dwayne S. throughout my project which took place over several months with numerous visits to help me at the different stages. They were able to meet my scheduling needs. Dwayne worked with me in securing special shower hardware to meet my specifications. He was very helpful in making recommendations, giving explanations, responding to communications via his cell phone, going the extra mile to make my life easier and was cheerful on top of all that.Dwayne had the help of a second service pro during site visits and both men that I met, Chris and Rob were excellent. While I was out of town, a line burst at my vacant home which was still under renovation and Dwayne came as soon as contacted to make the repair. Office staff Ashley and Jackie were easy to work with, always remembering who I was, and rounded out the excellent experience that I had with Pure-Line Plumbing.

Im very glad I used Pure-Line when my garbage disposal started leaking. Jackie is always so kind and helpful on the phone. She called me as soon as she knew the tech was running behind (which happens in this business). I really appreciated the call so I could plan the day better. Edwin was my tech and he replaced the disposal quickly. He took the time to explain a few things with the new disposal and its working beautifully. Their prices were more reasonable than some other plumbers. Ill definitely use them again.

I have nothing but praises for my experience. I was given a window of 8:00am to 11:00am. Edwin and (I forgot his associates name) showed on time. They were friendly, professional, warm and patient with me. They worked efficiently and were respectful of my home. This is completely contrary to the service I received from a competitor. He showed late, did not cover his work boots, tried to bully me into additional work and was extremely very unprofessional. The competitor, Happy Home, wanted to charge me $525.00. Pure-Lines cost was $236.00.

Pure-Line Plumbing was great with both their services and fair pricing. I had Dwayne install a stainless-steel residential hot water tank that has a lifetime tank warranty. He first came to the house and did a through assessment of my houses current plumbing situation and we discussed various options for the hot water tank replacement as well as a new pressure relief value and shut off valve. He was especially mindful of the high quality brass pipes that are in my house and the need to use brass to complete this new job. The Pure-Line office prepared and sent to me a detailed quote and gave me a generous discount for having registered on their website to receive a new customer discount. Dwayne and his co-worker spent a full day removing the old tank, installing the new tank and the pressure relief value and shut off valve. They did an excellent job. Very high quality work! If you value superior workmanship, then call Pure-Line Plumbing.

Pure-line sent Rob out quickly to investigate some rattling pipes. Within 10 minutes, he had identified the problem (a bad overflow tank due to high pressure) and checked on warranty for me. Under warranty, he got it swapped out fast, checked all the connections and confirmed the bath faucets were new with no leaks. He was knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with. We even talked future improvements. If I have any future issues, Ill call Pure-Line again, for sure.

I recently purchased a townhome and was new to the area. I knew of a few of the larger name companies in the area but took a chance on Pure-Line off a recommendationSo impressed by the customer service and timeliness of this company. I can’t say enough nice things about the tech Norman that was sent out. He explained everything about my toilet leak in a way so that I could understand. Once he explained everything made perfect sense. He definitely set my mind at ease and did an excellent repair job.All I can say is WOW !!! Dwayne came out to assess replacement of a pressure relief valve (PRV) and if an outside spigot needed to be replaced. Dwayne arrive on time, was very professional and went above and beyond to quickly and accurately determine how to resolve the issues. Dwayne also took videos while under the house to show me that my expansion tank needed to be replaced and discovered a water leak unrelated to the PRV assessment. He could not locate the source of the water leak so he gave me a contact reference who could help. Dwayne gave me an estimate of cost for repairs and returned as scheduled to fix all issues and did a great job. The spigot could be fixed, did not need to be replaced. Great job. I highly recommend Pure-Line Plumbing.

When I was changing my well water filter, I found a pex valve that was leaking and badly rusted -- basically, about to bust completely. I called Pure-Line, and they had someone out to my house the next day. The service pros were really nice, they worked around my schedule, and they charged me a reasonable price. Very Pleased. Had a sewer line backup and my regular plumber was unavailable. Called Pure-Line because of the good rating and couldnt have been more pleased. It may have been unusual but they were able to get out to the house within a hour and the plumber was able to snake out the line. All is good once again. The plumber was very professional and clearly stated the cost of what he was doing. Will keep them on file for future reference.

I had all the polybutylene pipes in my house replaced. The job, so far as I can tell, was expeditiously and thoroughly done. Dwayne S. explained everything, and he and his helper were on time, took as much time as they said they’d take (two days), and left everything clean and neat. The price was fair, too. I got three quotes; Pure-Line gave the middle one, but I found them altogether more helpful & solicitous than the other two. I recommend Dwayne & Pureline without reservation.

Eli Zayas of Pure-Line Plumbing did a great job installing a new faucet in the kitchen sink and a new shower head. He had all the tools and materials that he needed, and he took away all the residue and old faucet when the job was done.He wore shoe covers and spread a waterproof mat in front of the sink and was careful that no water spilled inside the cabinet or on the floor. And, most important the job was done carefully and well. He called me in to explain how everything worked and made sure that I could operate all the mechanisms. Great job!

I cannot thank the team -- and Dwayne -- enough for the work they did at my new home. When I moved in on Saturday and and discovered a leak Sunday night, I called Pureline. Dwayne came in, identified the source as the shower drain and had it repaired quickly. Plus, he checked my original toilets and saw that they were leaky and inefficient, driving up the water bill. We replaced the toilets - no more worries about the tanks running all day. Dwayne was prompt, courteous and is good at what he does -- I found my go-to plumbing team.

It took several visits to get through all the mandated steps and inspections, but they got us through it all perfectly. I called Pure-Line Plumbing regarding the amount of sediment I was getting to the house. I would have to replace the house filter every 1.5 months and the water pressure was decreasing over time. Dwayne and Chris came out and confirmed I was getting more than usual sediment and recommended a spin-down filter with a new outdoor spigot to drain the collected sediment and pull up the well pump 10 - 20 ft. Upon more troubleshooting, they also noticed the pressure gauge to the pressure tank was also bad and replaced it along with replacing the 20 gallon pressure tank with a 27 gallon pressure tank. The old tank had sediment built up. Throughout the process, Dwayne explained everything to me and made sure I understood what was being done to remedy the issue. They were very professional and I highly recommend their services. I will not hesitate to call Pure-Line for any plumbing needs. Thank you Dwayne and Chris!

Pure-Line plumbing installed a whole house water filtration system (Aquasana that I had purchased on my own). They were extremely professional both in the initial estimate and the job itself. They installed the unit in the crawl space on a concrete slab with very clearly marked controls and the installer walked me through the use and maintenance of the system. Their quote was fair and in line with the other ones that I received and I cannot imagine anyone having done a better job with the install. A++.

Jonathan Whitfield saved me $1200. After another company did a great job clearing and cleaning up backup sewage in our master bath and bedroom, the they recommended spending $1200 to install a clean-out in the front yard. We talked to Lisa at Pure-Line and she sent Johnathan to do an assessment. He identified two existing clean-outs in our crawl space that would have done the job and recommended not installing a 3rd. But more training needs to be provided to their field people to avoid future situation like this.Original: We wish the price was communicated more clearly upfront. We found a water damage on Easter. Called the company because of the refer from a water damage company. Ended up paying almost $400, with $149 for holiday service fee just to come out. $225 to cut open and diagnose. Ended up found just a stuck toilet handle, no repair needed. If we understood better, we would wait till Monday and call other company. I should have read reviews and listened as other customers have reported similar experience. $400 for less than an hour job is hard to recommend for futurr. Thanks

Amazing service, Amazing attitude. Edwin and his crew of five men repaired a sewer pipe at my house. On the second day they worked from 8 am to 2 am ( 18 hours with only food and water breaks). they worked to finish before a large thunderstorm was forecasted to hit the next day. I called another local plumber on a Thursday to fix an issue with my plumbing where I had very low water pressure. That plumber came out, spent 4 hours diagnosing the problem and ended up thinking it was an issue with my pressure tank. They quoted me $500 to get it replaced and said the earliest they could fix it was the following Monday or Tuesday. I called Mike at Pure-Line Plumbing and he assured me he would get someone out to us the next day (Friday). As promised, Dwayne from Pure-Line came on time, diagnosed the issue within 20 minutes, gave me some pointers about my system, how to isolate failures in key points of the system, and saved me hundreds of dollars on the fix. Glad I found a real plumbing company. Pure-Line Plumbing earned a loyal customer.

UPDATE: Ive since spoken with one of the owners who apologized for the mistakes made and was quick to rectify the situation. Since we already had another plumber install a new water heater believing the previous one to be kaput, we will never know if it could actually have been repaired instead of replaced. I do, however, appreciate Pure-Lines quick and friendly response to an uncomfortable situation and would consider them for future plumbing needs.Original review: I first had Pure-Line come out to fix a leaking bath knob and only had great things to say about them - I had finally found a good plumber! The technician was on time, got straight to work, and had (what I believe) to be reasonable rates.The second experience also started off well enough - our tankless water heater died out of the blue and Pure-Line was quick to come out and take a look. Kevin spent time on the phone troubleshooting with the manufacturer but was unable to fix it. Upon leaving, he quoted me $350 for the visit, the parts they were to order, and the return visit to install them - I okayed it. Once all the parts arrived, they came back out to try again. Unfortunately, the parts did not work and as a last effort, Kevin said he was going to grab something to measure the gas pressure and would be right back.The next time I saw him was when Kevin came back up to say that none of the suggested fixes/parts worked and gave me a new tally of $700. Apparently, they had went out and purchased a gas pressure regulator and installed it to see if it helped. The issue is that they did not ask me about the part or the potential costs associated with it (again, the last thing I was told was that they were going to measure the pressure). At the time, I just went with it since it sounded like a much needed part, but Ive since had the gas company and TWO other plumbers say that the system does not need a regulator and that it should be taken off.Ive also had some trouble getting a quote for a conventional tank water heater. Pure-line had given me a quote for a new tankless water heater but I asked if I could also get a quote for a regular tank heater as well since this tankless model was only 6 yrs old when it died. Kevin said he would email it to me soon. Well ... I never got that email. I also didnt get it after speaking with him a second time and him telling me he would email the quote over.Personally, I feel like I got jipped there at the end and should not have to pay for a pressure regulator that I was not informed of and, based on 3 other observations, was never needed in the first place.

I have done several Commercial Water Heaters using Pure-Line Plumbing. I would easily say that TJ is among the most knowledgeable and professional installers in NC. He has worked on a variety of different products from tankless, Lochinvar, AO Smith, State, Bradford White, and even PVI. I have yet to find him or Pure-Line a challenge they are not prepared for. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. If youre in a crunch, they need to be your first call!
