It’s my second year using Happy Home Services for their annual HVAC maintenance checks + plumbing. Everyone who has come to our home has been super professional and nice, as well as knowledgeable. For the issues we have had come up, they always offer multiple solutions at different price points, which have all been very fair. We have never felt pressured into an expensive fix and have been very happy with their work! I would recommend this company to anyone looking to stay on top of home maintenance.

We were having issues with our HVAC system and a HVAC technician named Miguel came out the same day we called. He was fantastic. He had been here before and remembered our previous problem. He was through and had spoke to his supervisor about how to handle this ongoing issue.He explained it well and put in a call for his supervisor to call me with a quote for the part that would be needed. Miguel was very kind and did a very good job to get things back on track until we are ready to put the new part in. Simon Lee is an invaluable technician. He is pleasant and very personable. Simon checked our warranty and ordered a new exhaust motor. He addressed my wifes concern about mold (none present). He reminded me to shut down the HVAC when I was performing sanding operations. I changed out a recently installed filter because of his recommendation. Simon entered the crawlspace and observed the ductwork. We talked about adding a sump pump in a specific place. He answered questions about the lifespan of our HVAC, more specifically, when to replace parts and when to purchase a new unit. It was a pleasant experience.

Got a whole new heating and air system today! Supposed to be a better unit that the one i had. But only one half of my house has any air blowing from the vents. Im not happy at all! Waiting to hear from a supervisor! Unit has been running for three hours and it has only dropped the temp in my house by 3 degrees. At least my old unit cooled my house.Edit: 7:45am next day. They are sending someone to check the unit will update soonEdit: 18:30 unit is a lot better! Air on both sides of the house so our bedrooms should have air! David spent two really hot days at my house and he did what he could! Cory came and helped out and got the air flow running better. Thanks to everyone that helped in the process! I had an excellent experience working with Happy Homes. I am a first time home-buyer and have not had much experience working with home improvement services in North Carolina and I could not have been happier finding this company. My new house needed a new HVAC system and Damon was the person who assessed my system and talked me through my options. He simplified the options for me and set us up with a great choice. The installation took place the next day with no issues. Later they sent out another team to inspect the system and added extra precautions for the system without me having to ask for it. Next, with the system I bought I was able to take advantage of their plumbing inspection for free and was helped out by Raymon and he performed a professional inspection while helping me learn about how to take care of my first property. I will be happily recommending this companys services to my friends and family in the area.

Happy Home was recommended by a friend. I signed up for the twice yearly HVAC servicing. It was easy to sign up and to make the appointment. I received several reminders for the appointment, and the technician called me 30 minutes prior to arrival. Also, I received a communication with a picture of the technician, Ray, prior to his arrival.Ray did a great job--very thorough, and we discussed everything he was doing.I received a free plumbing check when I signed up for the HVAC service, and that technician came within the same 3-hour window, again with a phone call 30 minutes prior. So I didnt have to wait around all day.I was really pleased (and pleasantly surprised), that they came when they said they would, the communication was great, and the technicians were helpful and seemed honest.

Their responsiveness was remarkable, as they arrived on the same day I contacted them.Their team displayed impressive expertise, identifying critical issues with my two units that had been overlooked by my home inspector. For safety reasons, they had to temporarily shut down my systems, but their efficiency in installing two new systems was commendable. I really appreciated how he looks out for the home owner!There is a sense of security having my heating and air system checked out twice each year.August 1, 2024Corey returned today to install the parts ordered for my HVAC system still under warranty. He and Josh worked in the 90 degree plus temperature and basically rebuilt my system at no cost to me since the warranty is still current.I can’t recommend a better company or a more professional, conscientious technician than Corey. No details are too small and your experiences are essential. I came home Friday after work to a very strong metallic smell in my home. I immediately noticed that my house was warm and my AC was not working. I reset the unit several times. My AC unit would engage yet the blower would not. I contacted Happy Home Services Saturday. I shared this same metallic smell experience with Ms. Dianne. I felt sort of strange and was actually a bit hesitant to share this experience. Ms. Dianne assured me that me that a technician would be out today (Saturday). I was so impressed with the safeguards in place. I received an image of an AMAZING technician before his arrival (Mr. Miguel Lagunas). Mr. Miguel Lagunas was very personal and professional. I thanked him for coming not fully understanding his competing demands. Mr. Miguel treated me like I was his only client although he shared he had eight more clients after me- WOW. It was already after 8 PM and he had eight more clients after me- now thats dedication and commitment. I asked Mr. Miguel what time will you get home ?He said whenever and that he would be back at work 7 am. Mr. Miguel did not rush. He listened to me. Here again, I was reluctant to share that I experience a strong metallic smell in my home. Mr. Miguel did all his pre-checks and shared that he did not find anything yet. He also confirmed that both AC unit and furnace blower unit were not engaging. I finally shared with Mr. Miguel about this very strong metallic smell in my home. He went back in the attic, opened the furnace unit, came back down, and said that same metallic smell hit me when I opened the furnace. He tested the capacitor and it was reading below manufacturers specifications (his words). He also shared that he could see that the furnace motor was rusty and leaking oil. He told me he might have a capacitor on the van. He showed me the old and new capacitor. He explained what was causing the metallic smell in my home (the motor in my furnace probably was overheating -SCARY). Mr. Miguel installed a new capacitor and got my AC back up and running . He also shared cautions about the state of my furnace and the likelihood that my 22 year old furnace may need replacement before winter. I asked Mr. Miguel how much does a new furnace cost. He said let me get my tablet. He even took time to search to see if there were any remaining warranties on my 22 year old furnace. So here was this amazing human being who shared he had been at work since seven AM with eight more clients to see after 8 30 PM. He did not rush. He did not rush me. I asked Mr. Miguel to share the images of my furnace with me. I received my paid invoice and all images of my furnace the same night. These images will support me in making informed future decisions about replacing my furnace. Mr. Miguel, I thank you. Mr. Miguel also shared his lifes journey and journey through apprenticeship. Mr. Miguel, I salute you and I thank you for being the AMAZING human being you ARE!!! Please stay true to you. My take-a-way lesson of this VERY LONG post is- no details are insignificant. If you notice something different in your home-the way it smells- the way it feels or be- please share it. Sharing my metallic experience was absolutely essential to diagnosing and resolving my AC challenges and analyzing the current and future state of my furnace. Gratefully, Rhodus Riggins, Jr.

My heat broke on the Friday before Christmas. I called Happy Home Services in the afternoon to request emergency service. The very pleasant customer service rep said they would do their best to get someone out ASAP. I was hoping at least someone could come in the next couple of days. A technician, Mike, called me within 20 minutes to say he was on his way. He worked well into Friday evening troubleshooting my heating system. By 8:00 pm my heat was fixed and I also had an estimate for some other needed repairs that I knew were needed. I was so pleased with how thorough Mike was and he was extremely pleasant. I understood every step of the way what was needed and how much it would cost me. Was pleasantly surprised that my estimate was below my expectations! I definitely recommend Happy Home Services!!!!

Raymond from Happy Home did an excellent job! When he arrived I explained that we just had our dryer pipes cleaned 13 months ago (for the first time in 15 years), and our new dryer was still running wet clothes. The last tech we hired said the heating element must be going bad if the clothes are still running wet, so we bought a new dryer - but this one was computerized and was telling me the pipes were 90% blocked with a D-90 code. The last tech. used a hose with a lint brush attachment and cleaned the pipe from the opening in the house. Raymond did the hard work, taking apart the pipe underneath the house and doing a proper, thorough job. He spent over an hour cleaning the pipe. Raymond was also on time, courteous, and shared before/after photos of the pipe and said there was 10 years worth of lint still in the pipes. I wish I found Happy Home first because we wouldnt have gotten rid of a working dryer. But I know who to call next time. Thank you Raymond & Happy Home Services!

They were able to find and repair a leak on my HVAC line going through my attic. Installed a new pipe on the outside of my townhouse ( the one by the window) that match the other one already. Damon and Eric were very helpful and easy to work with through the process as well the the other 2 guys :) that did the labor. They did the job in just a few hours and left everything back in place and clean. I will definitely be using for any future needs.

We have all of our HVAC systems on their VIP Program. We are totally happy with the service and their servicemen. They are here twice a year servicing our units. The office staff is very helpful. Our home was damaged during the August storm and the gas had been cut off awaiting repair. Called Happy Home and wanted them to come out before the drop in temperature but no appointments for 2 weeks but she put us on the waiting list and low and behold the next day they had a cancellation and we took it.

After the poor communication with 3 other companies (they will remain nameless). I just want to say, they have the most accurate best service that you can ask for. I never expected such great professionalism. Ray is absolutely great. I had an appointment with a 4 hr window but asked if they would come after a specific time. They were able to come when i asked, and were in communication the entire time. When he arrived he diagnosed and corrected the problem quickly. My only suggestion is Happy Home , because of them I have a very happy home. They have an offer to come to your home twice a year foe a check up. Please, Please pay it and ask for Ray.

I LOVE this group! So our home has two hvac units...Winter of 2022 both of our hvac units officially died on us. (Very disappointing and highly stressful.) We reached out to Happy Home and they (specifically Damon, thank you so much!) worked with us for over a month to figure out our options, sharing their knowledge on different units and educating us on what we could expect moving forward with each option.Let me just say, their compassion and commitment go above and beyond, they really are a fantastic group of people to work with. This group knows how to connect with people and treat them as such. I never felt pressure to choose a specific service either. They took great care of our home while working diligently through the wet and cold December days.Also, please ask them questions as they come up, they are incredibly patient and took the time to make sure I fully understood everything I had questions or concerns about.Oh and they were able to come out during the holiday season (thats a big deal for me) and get our install complete. He arrived on time, called me about 25 minutes before to let me know he was coming, was extremely courteous and pleasant to work with. He thoroughly checked my system and found a minor issue that he recommended for a second opinion from one of their technicians (no extra charge). He also gave advice and a quote on duct cleaning after I mentioned that we get a lot of dust in the house. He left me with a very good feeling about the quality of my equipment and its readiness for the upcoming summer season. The techs came in response to my request for a maint. tune up on my HVAC. I had received a coupon in the mail for a tune up for $59.00.They came in and showed me a lot of pics. and said that they had called in a supv. After the supv. checked on it he said that there were repairs needed to the tune of $9,000. plus. I told him that I did not want to put money into repairs if it needed to be replaced. He wouldnt answer my questions, would just say I will let you know when I get this to load. He didnt tell me how much the charge was or what he had done. Then when I received the invoice, it was for $566.30 after I had told him that I didnt want to put money into repairs. Then had the HVAC replaced less than a week later. So that was money just wasted which I cant afford since I am living on a fixed income.

On Friday our heat pump stopped working so I called and set up an appointment for Tuesday. The repairman came out and diagnosed the problem and called in his supervisor as the whole system needed major repair or replacing. I was given 3 options which was the first time any company has ever done that. Damon explained everything and we decided replacement was the best option. Because warmer weather was predicted, he left us with a portable air conditioner so we could be comfortable. On Saturday, our new heat pump was delivered and installed. It couldnt have been easier or less stressful. Leighton, Joel, and Eric were wonderful. I would give them 4 1/2 stars if I could. After they were finished they asked if I had any questions, showed me the new programable thermostat and then left. I would have liked them to show me more and explain more about the outside unit and the inside unit. I am amazed at how quickly the house now heats up or cools down. Great experience.

Happy Home Services (HH) installed a new mini-split system in our bonus room 2-3 years ago, and we’ve been extremely satisfied with both this unit and HH’s customer service. The mini-split has worked much more effectively than our previous unit and has been especially impressive in removing high humidity during the summers while cooling the room. As a result, our room above the garage has become a comfortable guest-room space for family visits.Whenever we’ve had a question or concern in relation to our mini-split, HH’s service technicians have been responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Most recently, when our unit suddenly stopped de-icing during freezing temperatures, we were worked into a busy holiday schedule just a few days before Christmas. The service technician, Corey Woodward, arrived with an upbeat, friendly demeanor - evidencing from the beginning a determination to get our mini-split operative again before our family arrived for the holiday. Although he worked on it for over an hour and tried many ways to fix the problem, the most likely conclusion was that a replacement part would need to be ordered, which wouldn’t arrive until after Christmas. Corey persisted in looking for a quicker solution, though, by making one more detailed inspection of the outside unit before leaving. As a result, he essentially rescued our holiday. Through that final inspection, he found a loose wire that had been hidden from view – which he then connected, restoring full function to the mini-split and heat to our guest room. We’re writing this summary to thank Corey for making sure that our unit functioned smoothly through (and after) the holidays. We’d also like to express our continued appreciation to Josh Barber, Operations Manager, whose technical expertise and strong work ethic represent the best of Happy Home Services.

We tried Happy Home at the suggestion of a friend. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. The office staff was courteous on the phone, and scheduled our AC repair for the following day. She called later to offer us an even earlier time slot, which was much appreciated. Mike Pernell arrived promptly (even a little early), and was quick to assess the problem and get to work fixing it. Our AC was working within the hour, praise God. We signed up for their yearly maintenance (a little cheaper than the other company we tried), and that saved us an additional 10%. We are happy customers!

Happy Home experience a delay in receiving their parts from the manufacturer. This causes me some discomfort due to a sudden change in the weather. The summer fall to freezing sub winter temps. I manage to stay warm using by using two inferred heaters. In situations like mine, I suggest that Happy Home use Express Shippinp. Updated Review: After having my initial appointment canceled and leaving the review below, Happy Home Services reached out and had a technician come to my home on the day of the original appointment to ensure they could provide the services I needed and had Anthony come back the next day to clean my dryer vent. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable and took care of my issue quickly while also providing advice on caring for my AC system. I’m still not a fan of them canceling appointments to cater to other clients, but the service I received after the initial headache was great. You can read my original review below.Original Review: I made an appointment with Happy Home Services three weeks before they were to come to my home to do some work. The day before the appointment they said that they had VIP customers who called so they would need to reschedule my appointment and the soonest they could come would be a month later. They didn’t mention this VIP program when I made my initial appointment and basically tried to make me pay a subscription fee in order to get their services. It felt very much like a tactic to get a monthly payment instead of payment for a one time service. I don’t recommend using them and if you do, be prepared for them to cancel if you don’t purchase a VIP customer package. They won’t tell you that up front.

We had an emergency HVAC situation which included excessive water flooding our first floor at 6 PM in the evening. Corey Woodward, the Service Technician, arrived about 8 PM and stayed until 10PM, preventing thousands of dollars in damages. Corey had already put in a 12 hour day prior to arriving at our home. When he left he was heading to another call. Thats dedication!I have been in this type of business for over forty years and have never seen an employee as professional, knowledgeable, thorough and kind. Corey has incredible inter-personal skills, provided all of the service options, without pressuring us. Most importantly, Corey solved the problem quickly and affordably. I would strongly recommend Happy Home Services and would suggest you request Corey.

My 20+ year HVAC unit finally stopped working. Happy Home was quick to come run a diagnostic and then present all the options for a new HVAC unit. Alex was super professional and presented various options and I did not feel pressured to pick an option on the spot. After deciding to go with one of the units, they were quick to come install the new HVAC unit. They said they would start at 9AM and estimated to finish by 5pm, and they did! Was super impressed with Nick and his team that they were able to put in a new unit within a day. Overall, a great experience working with Happy Home, especially Alex and Nick!

In October of 2019, we had Happy Home come out to service our heating system. We knew when we bought our townhome that the heating system was old and that we were probably looking at replacing it. When Happy Home came out that was indeed the case, as well as our air conditioner. Happy Home was very professional, took pictures of the problems and discussed with my husband by phone and email the problems and our options with detailed estimates. Happy Homes installation was extremely thorough and extremely clean since our unit was located in the upstairs attic. The Cook family is extremely pleased with the prompt efficient service by Happy Home! We very highly recommend them and would give them a 10 star rating if we could! I was really pleased with the overall experience. They were very responsive and able to fit us in the same day when our water heater went out. They called to give a heads up before the technician arrived and sent a picture too. The technician identified that the problem was actually electrical and so we had to call an electrician, but his diagnosis was correct and we were able to get it fixed the following day.

They have a Great system where they email you a picture of the technician 30 minutes before their arrival and they bring out a supervisor to help if you need a new system quote. They were able to fix our system very quickly and even allowed me to do the repair myself because it was a just a bad power switch that was unrelated to the HVAC system. This saved me $135. They seem to be honest and a good company and I learned that I probably need to replace my second-floor AC system, but there was no pressure from them to do so. They showed me the rust in the system and demonstrated the problems with it so I’m getting bids now, but you know they are my top runner right now. Great job Happy Home Services... Customer for life here!

Our heater went out, and Corey was able to come out and get us back on our feet quickly, same day. He addressed the immediate problems, gave us honest assessments on our older unit (we just bought the home), and left us far safer from fire hazards to boot. Highly recommend, will definitely work with them for our future needs.Update: when our aging unit finally needed replacing this summer, we trusted Happy Home again to guide us through the process and get us back to comfort and efficiency quickly with a brand new unit. Since then, weve had follow up inspections and peace of mind, with friendly trustworthy people consistently every visit. Now in November when we needed an older duct replaced, they again took care of us quickly even during the busy season, and I highly recommend Alexander Vazquez for his greatly work, knowledge, and experience, and his patience in explaining things to me. Call them, theyre worth every penny.

I called Happy Home on Sunday morning because our heat stopped working yesterday. My husband had called another company but we got no response. I called Monica at Happy Homes and told me she would have Peter call. Peter was very busy but called me back within 10 minutes. He said he already had 5 others ahead of us. He was not sure if he would be able to get us today but either way he would call back. At about 3:40pm, Peter called and said he would be here in about 21 minutes. He was here within the time frame he quoted. Peter was very friendly, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He got our heat working within 10 minutes and thoroughly explained the problem to my husband. I could not believe how efficiently the problem had been resolved. I am so grateful the other company did not call my husband back. This business will definitely make you have a Happy Home because they will not disappoint you. Trevor is the service professional who assisted with our toilet issues. Our toilet was leaking and we had had another company “fix” it only a few months before. He was able to locate the heart of the problem that the other company had worked around (probably to save me money, but long-term, the previous job hadn’t been sustainable). Not only did he offer various options for me, but he was honest about the pros and cons of each. Trevor took the time to answer all my questions and was very knowledgeable and patient.
