Scheduling the appointment with Comfort Advisor was easy. Kevin did a great job of explaining features of different HVAC systems and listened well. Dante and Roberto arrived early for the installation and explained how the thermostat worked. The carbon monoxide detectors are a good safety feature. I would definitely recommend this company. Six days after installation we received a thank you card from the company with an insulated lunch bag with cookies inside. Nice touch. Warranty registration was filed by the company and confirmation was received within two weeks.

A good friend recommended JD Service Now a few years ago. Finally came time to call a plumber (hot water woes). It took a few days to get on the schedule around the holidays, which was expected. And they really did try to expedite things as much as possible. Every person I’ve been in contact with from this company has been very pleasant. I didn’t feel like I was getting manipulated or pressured into the service. John W was my technician and he did an excellent job of explaining things and updating me throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this company to others. Seems like the type of company that takes good care of its employees with how kind they all seem to be. Keep up the great work!

I switched to JD Service Now for my property in North Carolina after having multiple scheduling issues with another company. One of the things I love is the fast and attentive service to concerns. Im always able to get an appointment if needed either same day or the next day. When my tenant calls me with a concern, Im no longer worried that they wont be taken care of. JD Service Now has been amazing to work with especially as an out of town property owner. A special thanks to our most recent service providers William Shoe Jr. and Elijah Greer for keeping us in the loop and providing top tier quality service.

Andrew McDuffie was First Class from start to finish. I would say it was very impressive considering the installation was a lot more expensive than I expected. However, this was due to my misunderstanding of the task at hand. Andrew was calm and professional in explaining the installation. Gave me the quote which ended up being a great deal. He installed an EV Charger and it looks awesome. He put in several hours. Cleaned everything up. Even took the boxes with him which was above and beyond my expectations. Very knowledgeable expert, master class electrician in my opinion. JD Service Now was organized and I strongly recommend Andrew McDuffie. Plus if I run into any issues? They guarantee parts and labor for a year. This is the kind of service you wish every place had.

Both technicians, Richard & John (it was a 2-day process getting my well switch replaced & hot water heater replaced) were personable, efficient, effective and went above and beyond to help me get a bad post-holiday plumbing problem fixed.Ive had negative experiences with other plumbing companies in the past, ones who have turned in shoddy work, refused to clean up messes theyve made, even spoke rudely to my wife! But I was beyond pleased with the way Richard & John helped me out and conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism.Ive found my go-to plumbers from now on, and have no doubts that if I have another plumbing need, theyll be the first ones I call. William demonstrated his vast experience in well repair and replaced the 27 year old well pump and upgraded the well casing and wiring. I sincerely appreciate the expeditious and excellent service provided.

Andrew and Nick with JD Service Now did a great job evaluating and fixing issues at my home. Both men were very professional and I had a great experience dealing with them. Andrew handled the electrical work. Two contractors from two separate companies ghosted me previously, but Andrew is very knowledgeable and resolved the issues in one day.Nick installed a hot water pump and sump for my washing machine. He was very helpful and efficient. Both gentlemen were very patient answering my questions and didnt try to sell me things I didnt need. I can honestly recommend their services.

Great work, fair prices, I have a new plumber.6/3/24 Bradley did an awesome job replacing our tankless hot water heater. Not only did he replace it, he resolved existing issues from the original builder around gas & water lines leading to the hot water heater. Much appreciated!8/7/24 Richard Blanke came to look at an issue we had where water from an upstairs bathroom leaked down to the drywall in rooms below. We talked thru what happened & why and I feel confident we now understand the original issue and he got it fixed! He also provided suggestions on using a dehumidifier to ensure the drywall is completely dry going forward. Really thankful for his help & thoughtful expertise!

For the installation of the two new HVAC units for our home, Dante, Roberto, Basil, Josh and Mr P worked tirelessly from 0810 am until 2117 pm when they left our home. They were all very cordial and friendly. They answered all of my questions and gave my husband and I updates throughout the day of progress. Even though they encountered some setbacks and issues with the previous equipment and setup and had Mr P run back and forth to deliver extra equipment and supplies, they still maintained their professionalism. Hats off to these men!! Excellent job!! ☺️

Richard did an excellent job diagnosing the problem and location of the clog. He was very thorough and told me all along what he was doing and why. He checked pipes in the crawlspace. He is an animal lover and was very friendly and observant with my dog and cats.He gave me advice on how to keep drains clean by using BioOne. I will ask for him again should I need a plumber. I liked that JD Service Now calls to update on arrival time and sends photo text of service member coming ahead of time. Great job!

Nick came out and fixed the immediate problem, then came back to tackle the the bigger problem... in the pouring rain, waiting on a utility company (and waiting on them some more) who created the problem in the first place. Called JD Service to complete a plumbing job that another company left unfinished, saying it could not be fixed. JD arrived quickly and on time for the estimate and offered 2 options. Excavating a trench or lining the pipe- both were reasonably priced. They will return in a week to complete the job and I will add another review at that time.

We used another HVAC company initially a few weeks ago but they actually caused us more damage as they left a cap off a pipe causing significant water damage at our house. Mike quickly identified the issue and resolved it efficiently. He also provided us over 25 photos and videos so we could see exactly what caused the issue and the successful treatment. Niko was fantastic. He arrived exactly when I was told from dispatch. He had shoe covers on which was great since it was a rainy day…and was very gentle with my curious and energetic dogs. I had a shower head with a spraying leak and he had it fixed and working properly in under 10 mins. Asked if I had any other problem areas and got one of their electricians to come out same day to look at my hot water disposal that wasn’t functioning. Andrew, the electrician, was beyond nice, willing to look at multiple issues I wanted checked and knew most answers to questions I had. Prices are very fair and reasonable and the technicians were professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

Feels great when you find a company that you just know is going to be your go to. With water having gotten into my family room, I was having a pretty tough day in homeowner-land. I had been let down by two different companies that morning and was more than a little stressed with a lot of doom and gloom being hurled at me. Not only did JD service get me on the schedule the same day, I couldn’t believe it when Josh called barely an hour later to say he was on the way!While Josh was unable to diagnose a plumbing problem because my pipes were dry and happy, he stayed and talked through what was happening. He could have just headed out because his work was really done. Instead, he listened AND heard me. He investigated and took his time to help analyze my situation. That extra time saved me THOUSANDS of dollars because I was better able to have my insurance company see what I was seeing. It was the difference between covered and not covered.For 60 bucks.I am now a JD Service lifer.

Steve was on time and very knowledgeable in his craft. He explained things well and set our expectations as to what was taking place and the length of time. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, we hit a snag and he was unable to complete the task; however bc of his excellent communication skills we were able to relay the issue to the builder who previously worked on our home and they will come out and redo the fan install that was not initially completed properly. We are very happy with the work Steve completed and would definitely recommend him for electrical work.

My tech Robert was the absolute best. He took his time to diagnose the problem and explain to me what was wrong with my plumbing. He also suggested other improvements that had nothing to do with why I called. He answered all my questions and explained the pricing and best options for what I needed. The work was done in a professional and timely manner and explained and took pictures to show me as he was working. He was excellent!I will definitely be using them again if needed.

Sharif investigated different options--from under the sink and from the basement--to accessing a new source of water for the ice maker outlet box I requested; and explained two solutions. I was shocked at the price but he notes the difficulties in accessing these tight spots and running pipe from them. (That’s why I didn’t attempt it myself) He was very polite, honest, and thorough. He also offered the annual plan which I will keep in mind but I currently have a contract for my hvac system so it seems duplicitous now. I will definitely consider calling JD Services again.

I focus on the positive things that happen.Plumber not sent on time told would be at my home. The first time using JD Service Now. I called and let them know. This situation was resolved quickly. Then a plumber named Christopher came. He evaluated my situation under my sink, gave me two quotes. I asked questions and they were answered professionally and kindly. I chose the option I wanted done. Christopher went to work. I have piece of mind now because God sent me Christopher who had the solution to my situation the leak under my sink. He also replaced my faucet. I praise God for helping me to find JD Service Now, on the internet, to solve leaking under my kitchen sink and leaking factette. So Shane deserves a 5 star, JD Service Now deserves a 1 start on scheduling :-) But they can recover with future appointment, just be ready for the normal frustration of scheduling.

Jason King & JD Service Now did an excellent job of diagnosing & fixing my yard hydrant. Over a very few years it had gone from strong water pressure to only a trickle. Turned out that improper installation had caused its drain to fill up with dirt, so replacement was the only fix. Jason worked all day digging out the old one (as well as concrete they had put around it!), putting in the new one & surrounding its drain with 35 lb of pea gravel so the dirt couldnt reach the drain again. He was knowledgeable, pleasant & professional. My hydrant is better than it ever was!

Moved to Chapel Hill 3 years ago from Texas into a condo downtown. We lived here 50 years ago when my husband was a student at UNC. (I graduated from Duke - just saying since you’re in Durham :)It’s been a real struggle finding service - whether it’s dentist or doctor, plumber or electrician, HVAC or other. I’ve tried Yelp, Google - (saw a dentist with 50 5.0 ratings - what a disaster he was). The condo we live in has a group chat and I asked my neighbors for recommendations receiving mixed results.) I have been told numerous times it is hard to find good help around here :(Then the exhaust fan in our guest bathroom broke. It made an awful noise but not consistently. We have a maintenance guy - I think he’s the third in 3 years. He came up and checked it out and said it was fine. Should note, it wasn’t making the noise at the time. I taped the switch so no one would use it until I could figure out how to handle it.I was very frustrated. I didn’t know who fixes or replaces exhaust fans. I know nothing about these things. I did read about it on internet and noted words like electricity, fire, etc. So, I figured I needed an electrician.I returned to Google and came across your website which is very informative and very thorough. Wonderful lady took my info. This morning a gentleman called and he too was awesome. He took time to diagnose the problem and walk us through the issue in language that was easy to understand. He even showed us how the parts function together and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the job. He was more than willing to work with our busy schedule and help us at a time that worked for everyone. Overall, incredible work and customer service. We are members and asked for our semi-annual maintenance check. Shane came out and gave our system a thorough inspection, including pictures and videos of the system to know what we needed to fix. We are very happy with the work Shane did for us and will be happy to invite him back again to work on our system in the future when we need it.Follow up: John came out today to fix a leak in our sink. He quickly diagnosed multiple issues and had solutions for all of them. He fixed everything and did a fantastic job.

JD and Steve Webb provided outstanding service. To start they provide you with a real window of arrival, and a call just before they arrived. Upon arrival Steve listened to my attempt to describe the issue. After a few minutes he came back knowing exactly what to do, and even mentioned a few other issues. There was no pressure selling. Steve provided 3 options for us to choose based on our financial abilities. JD also offers 12 months no interest for payment if over a certain amount.Steve worked quickly but everything was professionally fixed and installed. I was so happy with them I purchased a year maintenence program.I can with great confidence recommend JD and Steve Webb for any repair services you need.Thank you!

Just ahead of Hurricane Betty, our sump pump decided to have problems. We called JD Service Now on Monday and technician, Matt, was out on Tuesday. He diagnosed the problem (rock in the shut off valve) and had it fixed and working in 30 minutes. All the team members are friendly, customer focused and knowledgeable. JD Services is our go to company for plumbing, H/AC and electrical.

Our water heater quit working on Friday evening. I checked the breakers, looked at the heater, it was wet around the heater.I called JD Service Now. They sent Aris.He arrived in the afternoon, was able to get the water heater working, he presented us 4 options for the scope of work. (We had two drain issues also) we chose our option.Ari’s arranged to come back Sunday morning.He arrived on time, got right to work.By mid-afternoon, all the work was complete.He did a very neat and professional job.I even showed him where a hole was drilled through our foundation that he could use if needed for a drain. He drilled one in a better place, but he actually sealed the preexisting one for us! What a great asset to your company! Excellent work!

I had been searching for a company to run a gas line to my fireplace. Many appointments were months out or no call back at all. I called JD service and they had me scheduled for an estimate the following day. I got two update calls to let me know I was on the schedule and another to let me know they’d arrive in 30 minutes. They were on time, Josh and Sheriff were polite, professional respectful of my home. They gave me an estimate and I told them to schedule me. They were able to do the work same day. I cannot say enough about how good they were I would recommend them to anyone. Top rate service. They even have a service plan that is affordable with lots of great perks.Casey came to do our A/C repair. He was friendly, professional and explained everything he found. Great customer service and prompt repair. A real asset to JD Service now!

We recently had two different companies out a total of 4 times and no one could diagnose the issue or shoot straight. No cost under the plan, he gave me a lot of mental comfort that my system is not going to konk out in the midst of bad weather.2 Jan. 2025 - Richard Blanke came out and did a full plumbing inspection. He was prompt, friendly, and through. He explained everything that was going on in each area and whether it needed service, monitoring, or was fine. I’m going to be selling the house soon, so he is preparing a quote that I can have ready for when the new buyer’s inspection shows what needs to be replaced.I was happy to be told that the full repair history and warranties are fully transferable to the new owner, which is a plus for me to offer as a seller!!

William not only did an incredible job fixing out ingrown root plumbing problem, but he was kind, efficient, professional, and extremely understanding about our dogs barking incessantly at him while he worked! He made more than one trip to our home to remedy the problem, continued to provide us with timely updates and made us feel at ease that he knew what he was doing. Additional review: Sharif came out and replaced a leaky shutoff valve on a toilet. Turned out to be a harder job than it looked like and required some problem solving that Sharif handled perfectly. He might be a perfectionist. He was very polite and professional and finished the job efficiently and cleaned up afterward. Another five star experience.We had Matt come out to diagnose and repair a strange whistling noise coming from our water pipe. Matt went above and beyond and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was on time, has a great attitude, and explained everything in detail. He replaced a water valve and cleaned up after himself and made sure I was completely satisfied with the repair. I hope everyone at JD Service Now is as awesome as Matt. I should also mention that the dispatcher, Greg I think, was extremely professional and kept me informed.
