Excellent service, I had a prior plumber set up the gas pipes to my hot water heater incorrectly. Dalton was prompt, very knowledgable, professional, and friendly. He listened to my concerns and I felt heard every step of the way. He figured out the problem (the other plumber had incorrectly installed a gas regulator) and saved me from major disaster! Not to mention all of this was over the holidays and he really worked to get my hot water back up and running! Will be using them from now on.

I worked with Bar D Plumbing to change our a hot water heater that was in my attic and failed. Dalton came out and priced changing out my two tanked hot water heaters to 2 tankless. He gave me a fair price and was able to get the work done as quickly as possible with Thanksgiving in between.We thought it would take a couple of days to get the tanks changed out but the work was complete in one day without anything being out of place. I wasnt at home when Dalton finished up but he called and walked me through the job.The workmanship is fantastic and the service was even better.As a real estate agent in the Triangle I know how hard it is to find great vendors and Dalton and Bar D are fantastic. I have already referred them to a team member and we will be sharing Daltons name with my clients.

Termite inspector Jason from Kil-Mor noticed a crack with water leaking in the cement wall under my house. The next day Dalton Bass from Bar-D plumbing inspected the area and told me I had a crack in the main line in the front yard. He explained what needed to be done and how they would proceed. He came back with another plumber 2 days later and within 3 hours dug up the old line, put in a new one and cleaned all the mess. No more leak - water meter at zero!Professional and pleasant and seems to really like what he does.

I would like to add an additional review on Bar D Plumbers.Not long ago I called Bar D Plumbing with a request to replace faucets and to do a multitude of other plumbing projects. This month I contacted the company again to hook up an ice maker in our refrigerator and to install a new electric water heater under the house. Dalton Bass completed both projects quickly and in a professional, friendly and a considerate manner. Both jobs were completed quickly and with no mess. Dalton also removed the old water heater.Each workman sent from Bar D Plumbing was professional, punctual and polite but above this, I believe each person was honest and trustworthy.

Dalton and Jimmy and the whole team are the most professional and nicest guys (and a small local business!) you could want to help you out of a jam. In my case, I needed urgent help as our sewer line kept backing up. They came out to unclog the line, then scheduled a follow-up to put a camera down the pipes. Even before they did that, they sensed the issue was roots had taken over our line. They were correct. They dug a massive ditch and replaced the entire line from the house to the street. I was expecting our yard to look mangled, but they managed to put it back together and straw and seed it. You cant even tell anyone was there. They did all of this is in as timely and thorough manner as they could. And the price was extremely fair. I do not need to call any other plumbers for a long time. This local company is solid.

That plumber was here for an hour and was unsuccessful releasing the clog and he used a tool Dalton mentioned would not work on this kind of job. Dalton assessed the problem and fixed the clog in 5 minutes.I can’t say enough good things about this company and their team. While he was here, I had him add a second separate job - replacing my reverse osmosis water filters from our under sink system. He looked at the filters and the complicated system of tubes and had our new filters installed in short order.Love this company!

After having my shower/tub refinished I needed to have a plumber out to re-install the fixtures that had been removed for this process. On a Tuesday they scheduled me for Thursday. Later, service tech Dalton called and said he had a full day on Thursday and wondered if he could come on Wednesday instead. I thought- Great, the sooner the better. He stated he would be here no later than 11am and showed up promptly at about 10:30 am. Once he arrived, he and his coworker were not only professional, but also patient and kind. They took their time to speak with me and get clarification on things I needed/wanted. They answered my questions and addressed my concerns. The fixtures that I had didnt match, making my bathroom a little more hobo than boho chic. Dalton stated that he could research the trim that would match my valve so that they wouldnt have to remove the wall. (I had been told by a previous plumber that removing the wall would be necessary if I wanted to change my fixtures to a newer model. But he had never suggested that there could be a set still available to match my existing valve system.) He stated as soon as he got to the office he would send me the information. No joke, within like 30 minutes of their leaving, he called me back indicating that he found a set to match, provided me with the price and expected date of arrival and potential date for installation. Just remarkable. Long story short (I know this was long)- They spoke with me to get a clear understanding of my needs, asked questions, and investigated their concerns. It was a great experience. I appreciated their help and expertise so much. And they will be returning to install a matching set that is compatible with my fixtures, saving me on money and time. I trust these guys, they gave me peace of mind!

I had a problem with the mainline drain clog due to a tree root. I called a well-known local business with most Google reviews. The company dispatched a service guy the next day to give me a quote with uncertainty stating that their initial attempt may fail, which would result in over $3000 job. Though I was desperate, I wanted to get a second opinion. I called a couple of other companies but was unsuccessful in getting a service scheduled. Then I finally found Bar D! The service team came to my home in two hours, unclogged the mainline in less than 15 minutes, inspected the pipes using the camera, cleaned out the roots in the system, and then clearly planned out the next steps. Dalton explained everything he was doing, entertained with a video display of the pipe system, and explained the problem in detail. It was a pleasure to work with Bar D. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing needs.
