Plumbing is very hard. People seem to think they are capable of asking for guidance that will provide a successful repair every time. That’s like expecting to be able to perform brain surgery after a 5 minute conversation. Teeters is unique. I always am in a hurry and they deliver without fail. Polite and efficient AND accurate. They move the line quickly. This ain’t self service like the big box approach. Thank heavens- their approach actually works- every time.

UPDATE Nov 2024: For someone not in plumbing trade I bought enough shower cartridges from them 2016-2024. Original purchase made to save me being charged by independent plumber driving to Dallas to get part. So I went. In Apr 2024 I bought two cartridges to save a future trip just in case. Used one. But there was a flaw in brand so opted to replace entire shower manifold and associated parts with leak in Oct 2024. Should have done that way back when. Now that I had a different brand I returned the unused shower cartridge bought in Apr 2024. Got my money back no hassle. So if you need a unique part this is place to go. UPDATE May 2023: return visit to get same replacement shower faucet cartridge I bought in 2016. Plus a toilet handle for one that just broke. I called day before with part nr. from prior invoice and they confirmed they had item in stock. I bought two just in case but will probably leave one behind when sell house for next owner since part hard to get. See photos I posted. Plenty of parking on side of building see sign. 1st Review 2016: If they dont have your plumbing gadget you dont need it. Great service for first time customer. Recommended by my plumber who said they are the go-to place to find hard to get and standard fixtures. I sent them an email photo of shower cartridge I needed, called a few minutes later they had it in stock. Sweet!!!

THANK YOU TETER’SI literally got chills when the young man brought the CORRECT parts up to the front desk and set them down in front of me!None of the big names had what I needed, a H&C stem for a shower for a home that was built in the 50’s. And still had the original parts installed. It was a nightmare, until some one told me to try this little place that’s been around for a long while. Thank God I did.And really great service too! Very helpful Team they have at TETER’S.

Went to 3 different places prior to Teter’s. Time I will never get back, after a good 2hrs talking to the Big Box stores, one of THE BIG BOX store employees finally told me to just go to Teter’s!Teter’s had my part in literally 30 seconds! You spend more time than that just walking to your aisle at the Big Box stores.Do yourself a favor, save time and money and and just go to the best, Teter’s.

Went today to fit my 1950s home with new tub and shower hardware -- stems, handles, etc.the Big Box stores didnt carry the stems I needed.The guys at this place were friendly and knew right away what parts I needed to get my shower up and running.HD and Ls is very limited.Anyway, I got acrylic shower handles that have a mid-century custom look. They are going to look wonderful !! This place is great!

As a lifelong resident of DFW, I can say that this is THE PLACE to go for your plumbing parts needs. Ive been doing my own work (when I feel qualified) for over 40 years and, from the first time I was told by a friend to come here, to every return visit, they have had the EXACT parts that I needed.You might get lucky and find the same part at the big box stores, but when you go to Teters, you can rest assured that they WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE PART IN STOCK. The prices are also right in line with the big box stores.If I had to find a fault, I guess its the fact that they arent open on Saturdays, but hey, I like my weekends off work as well.

I was in need of a unique part on a very short timeline. I visited the big box stores with no luck, but one recommended I try Teters. I was in and out of the store in minutes with the perfect part at a really reasonable price. The guys were really knowledgeable and very helpful. It was like taking a step out of the Dallas scene and back to the days when customer service was worth more than the bottom line.

Love these guys. Got a fixture that didnt come from the HDs of the world? This store knows all and has got or can get replacement parts. However, todays visit was a little disappointing. The guy who helped me wasnt very helpful. He wasnt sure if the splash guard for the disposal would fit and didnt even try looking up the part even though I had a pic showing the model of my unit. I may or may not have the right part. Will be a real pain once I get the disposal disassembled if it doesnt fit. This was my first so-so experience in the many years Ive been doing business with them. Will definitely keep going back.

Lived in Dallas my whole life and first time learning about Testers. Theres something to be said about a business thats been around since the 30s. Skip home Depot or Lowes and visit an store where they actually care and can help you. They had the part I needed, at a lower price than the big box stores. Will be coming back and recommending.

This is the place to go it you are looking for older plumbing parts! We called to see if they had what we needed, they assured us that they did and would hold one for us. The customer service was great, -1/2 star for the facility though. The building is super old and a little disorganized, the women’s bathroom could use some tlc.

These guys are the best. I tried for half an hour at Lowes and couldnt get anyone that even understood my faucet need. I was in and out of Teeters in three minutes with the right part and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. This is where all the plumbing trades go to source items and for whatever specialty items that Home Depot and Lowe’s don’t carry. Every person that works here is helpful and an expert. We had an issue with our shower and, since we’re undergoing snowpocalypse 2021, the earliest we could get a plumber to come out to look at it was about 6 days out. In hopes that we might be some to take care of it ourselves, we explained the problem to the gentleman at the counter (after going to three different hardware stores who had no clue) and he not only immediately knew what we needed, but took the time to explain to us how to change out the parts.

The best in DWF. This is not a place to browse or putz around. This is a busy place, with busy tradesmen coming and going. As tradesmen, we are taking care of business, our business, so we can take care of our customers. The staff at Teters are top notch folks with a level of knowledge I count on. Yes, sometimes they may appear to be less than helpful...to someone not in the business. But to me, that is just not the case. These guys and gals get it done, so I can get it done for my customers.

The place to go for plumbing parts that are hard to find. First you must understand that this place is a wholesale plumbing warehouse. They cater to plumbers and plumbing companies so dont expect the royal treatment as a DiYer. Make sure you know what you need before buying something, they hate doing returns and will absolutely let you know about it. It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode in which George is buying soup from Yev Kassem and asks for bread.

I would get VE them 10 stars if I could. I have a home built in 1958. I had a leaky hose bib. That Ali Al plumber wanted $1800 to tear into the wall and install an entire new hose bibb. I showed Teters the issue and it cost me $32 in parts and I fixed it in 30 minutes.. these guys are the best

These people have some bizarre psychic abilities and some have photographic memories. This comes in handy when there are 5000 different makes of faucet parts nowadays. They’ve also began stocking more materials for the modern plumbing repair(I.e. ProPress fittings). I’m a plumber by trade but this place caters to the pubic also. Just make sure to bring the actual part or a really good picture with a tape measurement next to it. They are very through like that.

Teters is the go to place for faucet repair. Everyone at the sales counter is professional and has tremendous knowledge on many brands. I love that you can send a pic in via txt from your phone and they will get back to you fast on if they have it or can get you something that will work for you. They also have other plumbing related items other than just faucet repair, such as tools, misc fittings, and you can even get a cold glass bottle of soda water on your way out! Great place, plumbing professionals would be lost without them. Thanks Teters for all you do!
