The two guys who responded were super nice. They came out on New Year’s Eve & they were able to replace my water heater the same evening too (holiday and all). They could have told me they couldn’t get the replacement until after New Year’s Day and I wouldn’t have been the wiser, but they didn’t. They got the replacement, stopped the leak and took their time. The assistant who took the call was friendly too and had them in contact with me right away. I would definitely recommend them to others.

In fact, everyone we dealt with at Sustainable Plumbing of NC was very friendly and professional.Justin arrived early, quickly diagnosed the problem and then got right to work. Justin even made a small but critical adjustment to the angle of the line so that we could safely install the post that needed to go in that location. As a home inspector, I see a lot of water heaters, water supply lines, waste lines, and everything in between. That also means that I see and hear about a lot of plumbers and the variety of quality of work. I can say with the highest level of confidence that Sustainable Plumbing is the highest quality plumbing company that I have encountered. From the first moment contacting them when my water heater failed, and being received with compassion and understanding to having my water heater replaced in less than 24 hours. More important than the turn around time, I knew I could trust anyone they sent to my home with the safety of my wife and children. The two plumbing contractors present for my service call were very respectful and communicative with my wife explaining everything and what to do if there were any issues after they left. As of today, Sustainable Plumbing will be the only plumbing company used for my families plumbing needs.

They were attentive to all our questions to help educate us more on our purchase which solidified our confidence in choosing them and the appliance that we did.Because of all of this, we have already put in a few more requests for quotes on other projects throughout our home.They have our business for life.

We were very pleased with Sustainable Plumbing. The owner came out first to listen to us about our concerns and problems. Then he diagnosed the problems, and offered affordable solutions. He provided us with a fair price quote for the work that needed to be done. The crew that came out discovered that a couple of items werent as bad as we expected, and required only minor repairs. That saved us a lot of money. They could have just gone ahead with the original repairs and replacements and made a larger profit. But instead, they shared with us the truth of the situation and repaired it at a much lower cost than what the original estimate was. It isnt often you find that kind of honesty and companies these days. We would highly recommend sustainable plumbing.

Our water heater had quit working and the team from Sustainable Plumbing worked us in during a very busy time. They arrived exactly on time, quickly diagnosed that the issue was a bad circuit breaker and recommended and contacted an electrician who could fix the problem. Nate from Sustainable Plumbing was professional, friendly and obviously concerned that the problem be solved without unnecessary additional cost. The electrician (from Abide Electric) arrived soon after I confirmed that I wanted him to do the work and finished the repair quickly. He even went the extra mile to check the wiring at the water heater to ensure that it hadnt loosened over time. Both Sustainable Plumbing and Abide Electric get an A+, five star rating from me.

Our home was built in 1950. Over the years there must have been a few owners that made alterations and updates to the plumbing. It was beyond horrible. The wait for hot water in our downstairs bathroom was three minutes. The water pressure in the shower was just enough to get a shower. After Nate came to the rescue, my shower has great pressure and I’ve got hot water in 25 seconds. It’s one thing to correct plumbing issues in newer homes, but it’s quite another to come in and have to figure out 70 years of bad plumbing. We can’t thank Nate enough!!
