Have never really settled on a plumber we love since wed bought this home - so many seem much more interested in selling programs than servicing issues - but I feel really good about Hofmeyer after this first call. They were recommended by a friend and Im pleased with the service weve received. They responded relatively quickly, provided preliminary guidance via email, and Chris was professional and courteous. He reinstalled a garbage disposal and installed a new toilet. Id happily call Hofmeyer again.

Anthony and Rudy put a new toilet in for us today and checked our outside drain. My adult daughter was at home while they worked. She said Anthony and Rudy were so sweet, kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. They made her feel comfortable right away. They did an amazing job. We both were so pleased with their work.My parents always used Hofmeyer for any plumbing issues. We would see Mr Hofmeyer at St Lawrence bakery early in the morning getting donuts. They have always been the best and continue with that same integrity and care.

Hofmeyers level of service far exceeds the other three plumbing companies Ive worked with in Cincinnati. Scheduling can be a bit rough if youre not on the Westside, but if you can get an appointment or find a time that works, this is the best plumbing company to work with. These guys are honest & hardworking.Hank went above and beyond helping us to try to identify an inconsistent sewer smell we were having in our house. The other plumbing company we had out just assumed it was a cracked ventilation pipe, didnt take any action to verify if it was the issue, and left us thinking we had a very expensive fix without any next steps. I plugged a drain pipe that reduced the smell, but it was still somewhat there. Hank (Hofmeyer) checked everything out. He put in a new clean-out on our main stack, ran a camera through our ventilation and our sewer line, used a smoke machine, and double checked some other things all within an hour or so. He saved us a bunch of money, confirming that the ventilation pipe is in good order still. He had no problem giving me some rough ballparks and inputs on other plumbing jobs & questions I had throughout the job, and did not try to upsell me on anything.

We were having some issues with our bathroom sink draining. I called Hofmeyer and they had someone here to look at the issue within 2 hours. The plumber they sent was professional and answered all of our questions. This is my second time using Hofmeyer and will continue to do so in the future due to their professionalism, service, and cost.

This is a craftsman. If you have a problem that requires thought and experience to resolve this is the place to go. A complex problem was resolved that three other local top recommended companies decided to pass on attempting resolution. We appreciated the time taken to explain the problem, the alternatives, and the proposed solution. I think money well spent and if we have a need in the future this is where the call will go. The price was highish reasonable but then again you pay for the experience, not the part. Prompt, friendly, cleaned up perfectly, and instructed us on how to use the equipment installed (twice). Never rushed. Cost was accurate being slightly under the estimated cost agreed upon.

I hated having to call for help but I am glad I did. They replaced an old faucet in my basement bar that was dripping hundreds if not thousands of gallons per year. There was a slight issue with it leaking but they came back and fixed it. So far it has remained fixed. I am overall happy and glad they showed ownership of the issue that arose. Only slight comment is the water did damage some electronics, nothing too expensive but they have dodged that aspect.I’m grateful that when my mini fridge went out there was enough ice in it to not spoil. Anyway. Good people just wish they’d get back to me on the power strip, Alexa spot and box fan that aren’t working.

I had them install a new toilet and fix a drip in a bathroom sink. Kyle answered my questions when I called for information. After setting up a time I called back with a question. He was very nice and patient. The two men that came kept everything clean and removed all boxes and the old toilet. They were very nice and efficient.The cost was very reasonable. This is the third time I’ve used Hofmeyer and highly recommend them.

One of the good guys. Long story short, this company just saved us almost $26,000. They are honest, effective, and the kind of company that brings in their tools first and the iPad last. Too many companies are way too fast to sell you some big solution without understanding the problem or thinking through a solution. We had what we thought was an emergency over Labor Day weekend and initiated a fix with another company that spun out of control very quickly. After a call to Kyle at Hoffmeyer, who took the time to listen to what was going on and fit us into the schedule, Doug and Kendall were sent out and were able to FIX the problem and give long term recommendations so this doesnt happen again for less than $500. I recommend this company without reservations. Thank you for saving our familys emergency fund. We will all sleep better because of you guys, especially since our kids dont have to use our bathroom in the middle of the night anymore.

I recently used Hoffmeyer Plumbing to install a new sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. They were very courteous and professional from start to finish. Max worked with me to schedule a time to take measurements and inspect the kitchen. I made an appointment for the install and had to change it on short notice and they made it easy to reschedule. The installer was on time and professional. He left the work area clean and made sure I understood how everything worked.Quality products installed right, ill definitely use again for any plumbing needs.

I had a clogged kitchen drain. My pipe configuration is not ideal, just due to the location of the sink relative to the main drain in the house. The plumber that came was kind and helped me understand options to adjust the plumbing (there arent really any good ones). He did the job quickly and efficiently. And he provided some tips to help reduce the chances of future clogs.

I first met the good folks at Hoffmeyer Plumbing when I was just a kid. They have been in business for a very long time, my Dad has been involved in his rental properties for even longer so we have used them quite a bit over the years. Me and my Dad dont agree on many things but Hoffmeyer Plumbing services are one thing that we can agree on. Anyone with rental units know that they can be a pain if you have the wrong tenant. When they clogged the toilet or another drain, Hoffmeyer Plumbing showed right up and quickly solved the problem, and for a very fair price also. They also do great with larger and more in depth jobs too. Recently, one of my Dads vacant apt. units was hit by copper thieves, it was an absolute mess. Hoffmeyer Plumbing first did a great job dealing with the insurance company. Even the insurance agent told me how nice they were to work with. They came right in on short notice and redid all of the damaged plumbing in record time. Occupied apt. units need water after all. The insurance company even remarked on how reasonable the quote was when they sent out their adjuster. They left the work area clean which is something a lot of contractors dont do. My Dad and I have worked with them many times for many years and we have never had a disappointment. Peace of mind when you hire someone to fix hidden things like plumbing is a great thing. They have never let us down. Ive strayed from them before with some fly by night plumbing services, and it ended up to no be a very good idea. HofMeyer plumbing really know what they are doing, they are top notch professionals. They recently replaced a toilet in my Moms main bathroom. The floor boards were rotten so the job wasnt very straight forward. They did the carpentry and support work which is something all plumbers dont do, they fished up the job in hours. So no more water is leaking through the floor. And a main sewer line clogged and damaged at my Moms house. I was freaked out because they had to jackhammer the basement floor, but they went right to work, finished up quickly, and did a great patch job on the basement floor. They installed the verticleft stack properly with an access point for auger cleanout, as well as the proper pressurized vent for function and safety. This was 2 years ago and the repair still is perfect. Wow! Im sorry this review is so long. I guess I just feel fortunate to have a plumbing contractor I can trust. Theyve never let me down. I know anyone who reads this review and employs them will enjoy the same peace of mind and great service that me and my father always have. Cheers!

Long story short, in January 2018 damange had been done to a water supply pipe to the laundry room during an appliance repair. The details of the damage are not relevant. This happened on a Friday. Hofmeyer was booked and could not get here to fix the damaged pipe until Monday. However, while it was thought that we were left with water service, due to another unknown pipe defect, we did not. We called Hofmeyer and they did what they needed to do to get a plumber here first thing on Saturday. The plumber was extremely pleasant, and efficient. (They are ALWAYS extremely pleasant and efficient.) I have had reports that they are expensive. However, weve now used them twice and I find their prices to be reasonable.
