Price was very good for a total change-out . If you have a good relation with Lowe’s you will appreciate the ease of financing, and of working with 5 Star. The initial estimate was done by young man who was very professional and courteous and respectful of our budget. The installers were professional and worked non-stop to complete the project neatly and entirely . I have had not so good results before with equipment and installers, so I highly recommend 5 Star. No I’m not related. I never met these folks before, and if I’d had a problem believe me I’d tell you about it. In detail.

Five Star Home Services were amazing. From our initial scheduling to the actual service and install, the communication and plan of action was very timely and detailed. I appreciated the service agent who called me to ask questions about what I needed and what it would entail. Him including me, made me feel valued and allowed me to trust the process and level of service. Our electrical issues have been resolved and if we have any other issues they reassured me that I can count on them anytime!

I was impressed by the quick reply after I first contacted them. Ben came the same day to assess our home to see what would work best in the space we were trying to heat and cool and provided several options. We had an appointment with the installers within an hour of saying yes to the purchase and they came the next day to install the equipment. Jesse and Brandon arrived and went right to work and within a few hours new electrical line had been run to the room and the unit was up and running. Jesse took the time to show me how the remote worked and asked if I had any questions or concerns before they left. Five Star is top notch and I’m very pleased that we called them.

Had a leak in my water line to extra outbuilding. They figured out a way to repair without digging a new trench. Very difficult procedure but they stuck with it 5 or 6 times to get new line run inside old line. Awesome job guys. They are my plumber for the future.Thanks again

Alex and his partner were very efficient and helpful with getting to us to install our water heater. It was 18 years old and needed replaced but I figured out the 30 amp double pole breaker was the reason it didn’t come on. One pole was not working. Alex came back and I confirmed that with him and I told him I would go get a new breaker and install it and let him know if that worked. He said if it didn’t to let him know so he could get an electrician out. I got the new breaker installed and everything worked like it was supposed to. Thanks again Alex and crew for your fast response.

We had a fantastic experience working with Ben F, the sales rep. He is very knowledgeable, easy to work with, and works to match the equipment package specifically to the customers needs. We previously had a horrible experience with a different company that tried to scam us into a sale so I very much appreciate a sales rep and company I can trust. We have had them do service work for us before and the technicians are excellent. This is definitely a company that operates with a profit on purpose mindset

Apologizing for the lengthy review but I need to make sure I cover my experience from beginning to end because it has been a JOURNEY. Started with me, a native Floridian buying a house in Ohio with an oil furnace. What the heck was I thinking?! It was everything nightmares are made of for me, you mean I have to stick a lighter across all this flammable stuff and HOPE I dont go off like a bomb?! Needless to say this ancient artifact that should be in a museum broke and NO ONE could work on it (No heat for weeks in the 30 degree weather weve been having). On a whim I completed a form on the Lowes website and by the grace of God it ended up in the hands of 5 Star Home Services. Form was completed at 1am Thursday, 5 Star called me at 8am Friday, and was at my house by 11:30 the same morning. Gage was a breath of fresh air so kind and polite truly someone you would expect in this role. At no time did I ever feel taken advantage of or like I was being taken for a ride. My husband and a friend did some work over the weekend to prep and Monday morning (9am) the service techs were here (I believe their names were Brandon, both of them) and these guys show up bright eyes, smiling, patient, and ready to role. By 5pm I had a brand new system installed and no more green monster bomb in the basement. From Jackie fielding all my calls, Charlie working with me and my crazy bank, to Gage, Brandon, and Brandon dealing with all our questions I can honestly say this company is the epitome of small town service with a smile. The owner and leadership team MUST treat their employees well because it shows in the way they ALL embrace their customers with the patience of family. I will tell you this, they have earned a lifetime customer here. Thank you 5 Star for getting us warm in under 2 business days!!!!

The gentleman came to our house for the estimate is very straightforward and helpful in identifying the right air conditioner system for us. The installation crew also did a very good job. The technician came to our house to address the noise level from the compressor was also thorough and patient. In all, I am very impressed with the services provided by Five Star.

Just got a replacement furnace and brand new central AC installed in my parents house in Franklin, Ohio. with Five Star Home Services. Gage was the sales agent who visited to give us some estimates and review options. We decided to get the combo install and worked with Lowes financing for a great deal. Going to greatly improve my familys comfort in both summer and winter.Really convenient and efficient installation. Gage also stopped by to see how we were doing after the team left and helped troubleshoot an electrical issue on the new unit.We are very satisfied with the job and that we supported a local company. We learned that their office contributes to Profit on Purpose to help struggling community members get back on their feet. Two ways to help local people with our business.

I have been dealing with a headache of HVAC issues and struggle with finding a reliable / transparent HVAC professional. Jeff over at Five Star Home Services is clearly someone who takes pride in his work and cares about customers. He is thorough, doesnt beat around the bush and a problem solver. I dont plan to use any other company for my HVAC, plumbing or electrical needs. They take the five star name seriously. I also learned its a family own business and now I am going to look for that as I search for future contractors.

I ordered a new water heater for an old apartment unit through another vendor but the process has been seamless and easy to get through. The team showed up first thing in the morning and quickly replaced my water heater and answered all the questions I had. The work was fairly priced too. Had our furnace, AC, and Water go out shortly after we bought our house. Five star installed all new units for all three and theyve been great so far. All are energy efficient and save us money on home heating/cooling costs, the tankless water heater has been really nice to have, and were able to run multiple hot water appliances and/or shower all at once with no issues. On top of that, the annual maintenance for all three have been easy to schedule and very affordable. Definitely recommend them if youre looking to update your major home appliances.

Had another plumber cone out to fix a leaking water heater and their quote was $5700. They were unable to breakdown or justify such a high amount and became visible irritated when I asked questions. I called Lowe’s and they were able to save me $2300. John came out (same day) and was very polite and professional. He took me through every step of his process and showed and explained all the hardware to me. Didn’t leave a mess, which is always nice. Would definitely recommend them and will call back should other plumbing needs arise.

Our water heater started leaking on a Saturday. Went to Lowes on Sunday to look at new ones and they connected us with Five Star Home Services. Sean came out on Sunday for a free estimate (other companies wanted to charge us for that). After several estimates, Five Star was the most reasonable, but provided 10-year warranty on new water heater, parts, and labor (no one else came close to that). Once we agreed, they had a team out first thing the following morning. We were told that 2 workers could take 3 hours of labor. They removed the old, updated connections, installed the new and were in and out in less than an hour. Professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with all through the process.

I had a faulty water heater that I wanted replaced ASAP and Lowe’s paired me up with Five Star. They found me a time the next day (a Saturday) despite me being far away from their Xenia base (I’m on the East side of Cincinnati). Azhur (sp?) was a fantastic communicator and couldn’t have been nicer. She laid out everything in detail and was very patient when I wanted to check on another plumber’s prices. She got me set up and Cody and his partner were on time and communicated well too. They came well within the window, were friendly, got the job done in a timely manner and left no mess whatsoever. They were very careful about covering my floors. I have zero complaints about my experience.

If I could give 10 stars to Cody and the team at 5 star service I would. I was two days post a major surgery and my ac went out leaving my house 84 degrees. I’m fairly new to the area and admittedly called a number of hvac repair numbers who all claim over night repair but absolutely none could get me in. Even from the first phone call with 5 star it felt like they cared. Cody came out, was thorough, polite and professional. He explained what he believed to be going on and offered options. I can tell he truly works under the repair vs replace mindset and I do trust him. Cody went out of his way to obtain what was needed to get ac in my house that night going above and beyond what I would expect. When they say 5 star service, this is what they mean. Payment options were available and that process was just as simple.

I had a my water heater break down a couple days ago and got bounced around in terms of scheduling by another company. I ended up contacting them and within a few minutes they had an appointment scheduled for me and worked even after the appointment was scheduled to get me an earlier fix for my water heater.They arrived on time/as scheduled, were very professional and made sure that I understood the work that they were going to do/kept me informed of if/when they had to cut water and things of the sort. They answered any and all questions I had clearly and respectfully. 10/10 would hire them again to fix/replace my water heater again (hopefully wont need to too soon XD).
