As a novice homeowner, this was my first time needing a plumber. Given the age of my house in Cincinnati, you can probably guess how worried I was about the time and cost needed to restore things to normal. But the team at Roberson Brothers Plumbing, Earl, Jamie, and Landon, worked rapidly and meticulously to locate and mend all six defective pipes on their first visit! What I appreciated most was their excellent communication and clarity about costs. They made sure to confirm at each stage that I was comfortable with their plan of action and how it would affect my bill. The plumbers were incredibly friendly and receptive to all my questions and concerns. When I received my final bill, there were no unexpected or false charges. They even fixed the last two leaks leading to my water heater without charging me extra. My neighbor also had some pipe and leak issues and managed to get the team to work on her house immediately after mine. I wholeheartedly endorse these guys, especially if you want to avoid any unexpected charges at the end. Their customer service is simply A+! I dont usually pen down reviews, but i thought to do it today. My technician was earl, who was remarkably proficient, adept, and quick. He, along with his teammate, nolan, arrived within the 2-hour time frame i was given, and alerted me roughly half an hour before they reached. earl accurately identified the plumbing problem within a few minutes and had it repaired and was on his way in less than half an hour. Though plumbing services arent generally inexpensive, the expense was within my expected limit. i felt the charges were fair. In case of any unfortunate plumbing issues in the future, i have saved their contact details. The van they came in had a different business name, but its Roberson Brothers Plumbing. They are highly recommended by me.

True to their reputation, they were highly responsive and scheduled me in for the first available slot right after the holiday. The plumber, Nolan, arrived promptly and thoroughly explained his plan of action for identifying the issue, both before and during the diagnosis process. Once he pinpointed the leaks origin, he provided a quote for the repair. As it was a holiday, plumbing supply stores were closed, but he arranged another appointment for me first thing the next morning. A different plumber, Earl, along with his assistant Landon, arrived and maintained the same level of professionalism. They kept me updated throughout the repair process, even when they had to go out and purchase a missing part from the plumbing kit. Upon finishing the repair, they tested everything to ensure there were no further leaks. They also advised me to let the additional caulking in the shower fully set for a few hours before using it. This plumbing service offers quality work at a reasonable price, and all the plumbers Ive interacted with over my three experiences have delivered exceptional customer service. I wont hesitate to call them for all my future plumbing needs in Cincinnati!

Over a short period, he efficiently completed three tasks for us: reworking the washing machine connection due to a burst hose, replacing all the piping under our sink, and installing our built-in dishwasher. Please pardon my simple language when describing the tasks! Earl was a true professional. On two occasions, Roberson Brothers Plumbing responded promptly to our emergencies. Unfortunately, I cant recall the name of the first plumber, but his service was equally impressive! Weve found over time that their prices are quite competitive when weve compared them to other quotes. Now, we dont even bother getting quotes from anyone else and go straight to Jamie for our plumbing needs. What we appreciate about Jamie is that he runs a local business that has stood the test of time. Our most recent project with them involved a water heater replacement which necessitated several code upgrades. Our old water heater had not been maintained recently, but we didnt want just any off-the-shelf product from a hardware store. When my parents had a plumbing problem, I didnt hesitate to call them. They were available to come out the same day! However, my folks decided to postpone their pipe replacement. We were quite taken aback by the meticulousness of Nolan, the sales representative, when he conducted a swift examination of our house and our issue (a slab leak). He not only addressed our queries but also shed light on aspects related to materials (PEX installation) and installation procedures that we hadnt even considered. The cost was pretty competitive. Jamie, Landon and the rest of the crew showed up on schedule, immediately got down to business and made a concerted effort to confine the dust generated from cutting into the walls (and the occasional ceiling). They managed to wrap up the job at our house in approximately seven hours and ensured that all work areas were tidied up before they left. The installation met the building inspectors approval except for the fact that we needed to hire an electrician to re-ground our main circuit box and water heater since we had left our copper pipe in the slab and beyond unattended, to which they were previously grounded (Nolan did mention that this could be a potential issue). The walls were subsequently patched up as planned and all the mess was thoroughly cleared away. The only task left is to paint the patched areas, if not the entire rooms (which required it anyway). We are extremely satisfied with our experience with these plumbing experts in Cincinnati.

Jamie explained that too much pressure coming into our Cincinnati home was harmful to our water heater. They attempted to adjust it using the current knob at the meter, but when that failed, they put in a new one. Additionally, two broken knobs on our master tub required replacement. Roberson Brothers Plumbing were the ones who installed all the plumbing in our house when it was constructed. Jamie contacted the office and they looked up their records, pulled out model numbers, and instructed us to call Moen, as their fixtures come with a lifetime warranty. Weve already received and installed the new fixtures from Moen. I appreciate Jamie going above and beyond to assist us with this. I didnt compare prices with other plumbing services, but I dont mind paying a bit more for top-notch service. Thanks to the team!

We discovered that the problem was with a primary, old iron drain, which had a tightly rusted access screw. Nolan ingeniously figured out an alternative solution, by snaking a connected PVC pipe, and successfully managed to rectify the issue. Throughout the process, he delivered his assessment of the situation in a clear and persuasive manner, and transparently outlined the potential risks and additional costs associated with certain types of repairs. The entire process took about an hour and a half, and it cost roughly $250. Three days later, there was no evidence of blockage or backup and our system was back to normal. The old hot water heater in my garage finally gave up the ghost. I saw it coming, so I researched for a replacement and came across the concept of tankless water heaters. I was captivated by the idea and decided to go for it. A close family friend recommended a plumbing service, so I reached out to them. On the phone was Nolan, the owner. He came around and suggested that if we were considering a tankless water heater, the Navien 240A2 model would be ideal. The quote he provided was a bit higher than we anticipated. So, he encouraged us to compare with other quotes. We did just that, and received another quote from a different plumbing service for the same Navien 240A2 model, which was about $1,000 more. So, we went back to Nolans team. When they arrived in Cincinnati, they had all the necessary equipment to remove the old water heater and install the new tankless one. It took them a whole day, but they knew their stuff and took the time to explain everything to me. We even had a few laughs along the way. Before we knew it, the job was done. Nolan made it clear that with tankless water heaters, you wont get instant hot water. Theres still a wait time for the hot water to reach the point of use in the house. But the main advantage is that you get ENDLESS hot water - perfect for those indulgent 4-hour showers. However, you have to keep an eye on your water usage, or you might get a shock when a $500 water bill lands in your mailbox. Overall, Im thrilled with the service provided by Nolans team. The transition from my old faithful to endless hot water was seamless. Thanks to their excellent service, Ill definitely call on them for more plumbing work in the future. After all, good service breeds lifelong customers.

I had initially set up my appointment a fortnight in advance, but there seemed to be a mix-up on the scheduled day (I was expecting them at 7am and ended up having to call at 9am). When I got in touch, there was some confusion but they assured me they would send someone that very day. Jamie and Earl arrived in the early afternoon (around 2pm) and both were extremely affable. They had to locate our tank before they could begin, which took them about half an hour (it was in an odd location and the former owner had never attended to it). They got down to work and then received a call from their office roughly 45 minutes later, asking why it was taking so long and instructing them to finish up. This was acceptable until it was time to settle the bill. There was a slight miscommunication with the pricing when I had originally scheduled the appointment (I assume it was an honest mistake. These things happen). I was quoted $325 but there were additional charges if the job took longer than the estimated time, which was not initially communicated. So, the actual cost to properly complete the job from start to finish was closer to $700. However, Jamie and Earl were understanding and only charged the originally quoted $325 as we hadnt been fully informed. They even took the time to educate us about our system, providing photos and advice on how to manage the last couple feet of sludge. Now that all the costs are transparent, Im likely to use Roberson Brothers Plumbing again in the future. They treated us fairly and the service provided by Jamie and Earl in Cincinnati was commendable overall.
