Mike and Miles were the two gentlemen who serviced our home this week.We had a sewage pump that quit working, and after doing some minimal self-troubleshooting decided to leave this one to the professionals.I’m glad I did. They did the job quickly and methodically. I prefer to DIY most issues, but plumbing is one I don’t usually take a risk on.I don’t regret the decision to use them and highly recommend for your plumbing issues.Price on the overall job seemed just right to what the industry charges.A++ service and A++ professionals :)

I am a Maintenance Manger to 3 Chattanooga area restaurants. I have used SETS for over 10years and have always been pleased with there services. From water heaters, general plumbing repairs, grease trap pumping and service they have always been prompt, professional and most importantly stand by their work. Oh and if you have ageing sewer lines ask them about their blue light technology it is an amazing process that allowed us to remain open when our old pipes failed and also saved us from costly demo work. If you have plumbing issues, save yourself time and aggravation by calling SETS first.

I called when our water heater went out and they were there the same day within the hour to put in a new heating element. I have already purchased a tankless water heater but did not have the time to put in so they are coming back to give me an estimate. This was important to me due to the fact my mother was just released to come home from the hospital with hospice and an aide was scheduled to give her a bath. I had called 2 other places and they could not come the same day, I will continue to use your service from now on. The technician was professional and thorough and he did a fantastic job!!! We bought the toilet ourselves and when we got home it was less than 30 minutes when they called to make an appointment on the same day. They made the appointment for three hours later but in about an hour they called saying that they had finished their other job early and was it OK if they came earlier. I was thrilled to say yes. They actually had the toilet installed before the original appointment. The installer was personable, efficient and he left everything clean and neat before he left. We were thrilled with the service we received.

Rocky and his team came out and fixed our immediate leak and checked out all of our plumbing in our cottage built in 1945. They were very thorough and gave us an estimate to replace all of our old galvanized steel pipes to updated pipes. They did an excellent job! They also replaced a toilet, got our water heater up to date, and made sure none of our sinks were clogged. Our water pressure increased and everything is working perfectly!! I am a plumbers daughter so I can appreciate their hard work, fair price, and professionalism. They had a great attitude and I was confident in their knowledge. We will be using them again to replace the rest of the pipe from the house to the city hook up!!

My husband is a very large man. He stands 6 6 tall. He had a stroke about a year ago and we had been searching for answers for his toileting issues. Well, we found the tallest toilet ever (well maybe not ever but taller than we had). So I heard about South East Total Service on talk radio just after the toilet was delivered. I called and spoke with Heather who was so very kind and helpful. She was informative and we scheduled the appointment to uninstall my husbands current toilet and move it downstairs which required removal of an older less aesthetic toilet. Then they were to install the taller toilet upstairs.The day before the appointment Heather called to confirm that the day and time were still good (who does that). The next day Mike showed up when he said he would and got to work immediately. It was a rainy day but youd never know that from his demeanor. He was professional and courteous. His work was neat and of high quality. I did not have to cleanup after him. No water or loose parts to pick up. It was really a wonderful experience. As I told him, when we moved in a couple of years ago we had both upstairs toilets replaced and it took those guys (yes there were two technicians) around three hours to accomplish what he did by himself in right around an hour.I highly recommend South East Total Service for your plumbing needs. Not only was the service really good, but the pricing was not painful either! Thank you. We are really SATISFIED customers.

I had the unfortunate experience of a broken water main at my house for a second time... This time Dalton (the tech) walked me through and showed me what happened the last time. He did not in anyway directly blame the last plumber or say anything disparaging, however he chose to show me how he would have done it (and did do it) differently and why i shouldn’t have a problem again. He also went the extra mile to mark the spot slightly underground to make it easier to find next time. He was VERY knowledgeable, efficient and personable. Grace, the dispatcher was very sweet to fit me in with such short notice and had great communication as to when they’d be here. I am a chef and have a tough schedule and she was SO accommodating. After my great experience and i got the bill, it was less than a 1/3 of what i paid last time!!!. South East total service came Highly recommended to me and I’ll make sure to do the same. There are few times that i can remember having such a miserable situation handled in such a way that i walked out feeling so positive.

Everyone worked as a team. Grace who handles scheduling must be a logistical genius. And she definitely has the cooperation of the installer. Have you ever had a service company show up for an appointment ON TIME? They came once for the estimate and then again for the installation -- both times -- ON TIME!Rocky did a superb job installing the new water heater. He definitely knew what he was doing and went over what I needed to know. Al;so, he moved several items in the basement to have access to the water heater and did not complain once. GREAT ATTITUDE!Call these folks if you dont want to be guessing if your project will be done correctly.Call these folks if you want a company who actually shows up and keeps their word!

South East Total Service was wonderful to work with! I got a quote from one company that was going to charge me almost 3-4 times what it ended up costing to get my water main replaced. Its always scary for me when I call someone to fix something I know nothing about, but South East Total Service explained the situation, found the easiest solution, and they charge a fair price.They dug a neat ditch, cleaned everything up, and were very professional/respectful. While they were here, they even brought up my garbage can for me and took a quick look at a clogged sink. When I found I needed a new water main in my new house, i really didnt know what to do or where to start, but they turned something stressful into something painless. I cant say enough about what a positive experience this was , and I cant recommend them enough!

I would recommend South East Total Service to all. I had a last minute problem with a tankless water heater. This occurred on a Friday around 12:30PM. SETS bent over backwards to help me. Kevin got Mike Hardin to call me. Mike spent a lot of time with me over the phone, helping me troubleshoot. When we couldn’t figure out the problem, he rearranged his Friday afternoon and came to my house. He spent a couple of hours and allowed me to work with him to figure out the problem. He got on the phone with the manufacturer of my water heater. Once Mike figured out the problem, he implemented a temporary solution and scheduled another visit to install a part we needed and ordered!There is a saying that the company is only as good as the people who works for them! Mike is awesome and so is Southeast Total Service! So much so, that I wrote this review. The only one I that I ever remember writing!

We called South East Total Service to clear the drain pipe servicing out kitchen and laundry room, aware that it was buried under the slab foundation of our 1956 rancher. Attempts to open the drain were unsuccessful, and with camera detection, it was determined that the galvanized pipe had deteriorated and failed. Getting the camera to the point of the failure was no easy task, given the length of the house and the underground labyrinth of pipes, but the SETS team was tenacious and would not give up! We feared that the floors of our house would have to be dug up in order to replace the failed pipe, but thanks to the expertise of the SETS team, and the new technology enabling the lining repair of 2 pipes, they were able to line the pipe with a super hard, smooth material (see photo!) with minimal invasion. And all this with only two 2 x 2 holes in the concrete sub-floor: one under the washing machine and the other under a kitchen cabinet. Both holes were filled with concrete upon completion of the job, so the extensive damage that wed feared never happened. Our drains are now flowing freely!!! The many SETS plumbers and technicians who worked on our problem drain during this process were ALL so knowledgeable, skilled, polite, and respectful of our home. What a team - were grateful to have found South East Total Service!

Our 26 year old water heater began leaking and a friend recommended Southeast. I called, and they came out the same day ready to replace the unit. After they saw it was only leaking from the overflow, they gave me the option to repair the existing unit. After replacing two valves, the total bill was less than $300 instead of over $1000 to install new. They were friendly, professional, and I appreciated their honesty when giving me the option to repair or replace. When the heater finally does go, I will be calling Southeast again.

Southeast Total Service is incredible. If you just need a plumber, call anyone. But if you have a difficult or expensive issue and don’t know where to turn, call Southeast. They have some abilities that nobody else in town has; you’ll have to ask J T Alier to explain. We had old cast iron drain lines collapsed under a slab floor in a home with mountain stone walls. The thought of trenches throughout the house was awful --- for many reasons. J.T. was able to complete the repair with new PVC just by cutting out one piece of ceramic tile in the house and 8 inches of concrete slab below it. And they dug a small hole outside near the septic tank. The entire crew was courteous and did neat work with a wonderful clean-up afterward. I totally recommend them!!!Tom Patrick

We had our Rinnai tankless water heater installed almost one month ago. We could not be more happy with the entire experience and the functionality of the heater. With six house members and three bathrooms, we use quite a bit of hot water, and its endless...Most importantly, it is how we came to choose South East Total Services...Upgrading to the tankless water heater is something we had contemplated for a year. We had a functioning tank water heater, but realized the service time of that tank might be coming to an end and wasnt as efficient as it was brand new.We had three estimates conducted, and what struck me was the varying scopes of work among the estimates. Red flags were present. I decided to reach out to Rinnai customer service and asked if they could help me understand the codes and installation expectations I should expect. In my conversation with the customer service rep from Rinnai, I asked if I could email him the three estimates I received so we discuss. After the representative reviewed the estimates, he clearly pointed out the estimate written by South East Total Services and said it was a text book version of what the manufacturer expects in an estimate. Without giving you the specifics of the few issues, I would at least ask you to do the same and call them.One code violation in other estimates is they did not want to create a dedicated exhaust, and instead they wanted to tie the exhaust into my gas furnace within the attic. I even called one of the other two companies and talked with a customer service manager and asked him what their procedure was. He confirmed a dedicated exhaust was code despite the installer saying it was not necessary. Glad I didnt go with that company for a $150 savings. Every carbon monoxide detector in our house would have eventually gone crazy. OMG!I have a gas unit. As mentioned, I used Rinnai which I was planning to use before learning South East Total Services also recommended the unit (as did all three estimates).Lastly, customer service was the best I could expect. From the professional and informative sales estimate to the folks performing the installation and to the customer service following. As you can tell, I am a happy customer.It is not very common for me to write a review, but as a normally do-it-yourself homeowner, I have not contracted out too much so I was a little reluctant. I am certain I was very lucky in finding an exceptional company this time.

A bit frantic, we began calling around, but every other local plumber service was either closed, unresponsive, or quoted an astronomical, unaffordable price. Pete with South East Total Service answered our call and came to our aid within the hour. He was efficient, polite, knowledgeable, honest, professional yet personable, and very affordable given he came on a holiday! He not only discovered the root of our issue (after years of other plumbers in the past not discovering) and offered us a solution at an affordable rate. We have found our plumber for life. Mike came and did our estimate. Zach and Brice came and installed our water heater. After they left my daughter came by and asked why we had water running. I called Mike he came over and called Zach and Brice to come back. It turns out we had a pipe burst under ground outside the garage. These three guys worked in the rain and cold to fix our problem and had us back with running water in our house and able to sleep again. Unfortunately. its just a temporary fix and they will be coming to repair the line leading from the street to the house, its a galvanized pipe that is deteriorating with time. I feel fortunate that the problem was caught in time and fixed before we had an astronomical water bill. We are blessed and thankful to have three very helpful, professional men doing the repairs we need. It lets us sleep better at night.Thank you Mike, Zach, Brice and South East Total Service.

In Apr‘17, SE Tot. Service sent Red to pump 4 septic tanks at 4 locations; three belong to me; one was for my neighbor. I have a business and looking for high quality/knowledgeable/dependable people I can trust. It was my first encounter with SE Tot. Serv.Red was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He drove a full industrial sized pumping truck that hold ~3400 gallons; not the minuscule tank on a dually. The bigger tank/truck has better suction and a larger hose; better for the job.At 2512 Sharron Dr, in 10 minutes Red found the lid to a 47 year old tank that has never being pumped, serviced; original installation. He and I dug up the ground, create an opening, installed a removable port (for future easy access) and pump the tank. Upon opening, the content was mud, since it has been unoccupied for 6 months. Once completed, I can see the tank bottom.In May’22, I called Tot. Service asking for Red. I got the run around, was told that Red no longer working there; that Tot Serv no longer pump septic tank; got diverted to another outfit that they told me was reliable. Five days later I went back to Heather and told her what happen; she would called Red, since the outfit she diverted me to… failed me.I did NOT appreciate the run around, being diverted to a 2nd party; who I found unreliable, unprofessional.On 5/25/22, Red arrived at 9447 Thrasher and quickly pumped the septic tank, which he performed 5 years earlier. I found paper towel while roto-rooter with the K-400; the basement toilet has being oozing gallons of water at the wax seal 3 times in the last 3 days; it also had been raining 4” in the last 3 days. Upon opening the septic tank lid, I found lots of paper-product floaties that may have blocked the influence line, as the septic tank level rises. After 5 years, there were only ~1’ of sludge at the bottom. It was the floaties that cause the water to ooze out of the basement toilet wax seal. There was nothing wrong with the basement toilet.Afterward, I explained that I have another house close by at 2331 Pineway Trail with a septic tank that has not being pump for 33 years and I don’t have a problem and I don’t have a port to the tank. We would have to find the tank, create an opening. Red was willing and urged me to act. He quickly found the 8x8 plug into the tank effluence side in 15 minutes. I called it ‘luck’; Red was irate; I hurt his professional pride. He has been doing this for many decades. At the end of the job, Red saved me from a ~$8k leaching line replacement job. I made sure that he understood how I appreciated him. Later, he advised me to remove part of my deck over ¾ of the septic tank so he can pump the influence port to the tank. He advised me, because I listened. I told him I will and the next time he comes, there will be 2 pumps waiting for him. Once Red earns my trust, I gave Red all future business.We talked about 2512 Sharron Dr. and the problem I currently having there and the ~several months/weeks I have to be on the Tot. Service waiting list. He reminded me the lesson I learned at 2331 Pineway. Gave me good solid advices how to tackle a drain line to the septic tank issue while I’m waiting. With luck, I may be able to clear my problem on my own before Tot. Service can address my need.Red is my friend. Henry Lee

She was helpful and I needed a rush job. They were there within an hour. The technician that did the work was so professional and over the top with his job. When I received the estimate from another business in the Metro CHA area for $18k on a sewer repair, I reached out to JT and SETS for a second opinion. JT came out the next day and fixed the problem. The aforementioned company said we need a street cut and to replace the pipe. My pipes burst shortly after the recent Christmas Eve freeze. I did some repairs, but they werent enough as the breaks had proceeded into difficult-to-access areas in the walls. Tyler from South East was on-site and ready to perform repairs before I could even get a quote from other companies. There were approximately 15 breaks throughout multiple lines, including a compromised pressure valve. During Tylers repairs, breaks continued to expose themselves. While the situation was frustrating (at least four breaks within walls), Tyler kept his composure and professionalism, and explained everything while working as I was eager to learn. Additionally, South East charged significantly less than multiple companies I received quotes from. I cannot recommend this company enough. 10/10.

I highly recommend South East Total Service. They installed a line with a recirculating pump last year. Every other plumbing company had quoted grillions of dollars and doom and gloom! Not so with SE Total Service! Reasonable cost AND it was professionally done! The experience is professional from start to finish. Kayla takes your service request. Kevin promptly calls to book a convenient schedule, usually in less than a week or sometimes within two days! The technician will call before he arrives. This time I had a problem with my Delta touch faucets. Not all plumbers can work on this technology. Some will say they do but itll be painfully obvious when they try. Not so with SE Total Service. Dalton knew exactly what to do and solved the problems within an hour!!! Hiring trained professionals is obviously essential. However, it is a refreshing experience, in todays world, to find a company with reasonable prices, friendly knowledgeable employees and a philosophy that understands the importance of customer service.
