Today we had a complimentary inspection service that was included with our purchase from Albemarle Heating and Air done by Ivan Gonzalez. Ivan is hands down the definition of customer service. He was right on time and answered all of our questions about our unit. He ensure the unit is performing correctly and at optimal performance. I can’t thank Ivan enough for his knowledge and friendly attitude. If we need service again I would hope Ivan is the tech for the job! Amazing work and please ensure Ivan gets the recognition he deserves. I can’t imagine any other customer that would disagree with how great it is to have a valuable employee like Ivan. The technician, Gus from Albermarle Heating & Air was amazing. He was dispatched the same day I called and was there by the afternoon. Within 20 minutes of arriving he had diagnosed the problem and consulted me about the needed repair. After giving him the go ahead to do the repair, he installed the part in just a few minutes and then took me on a walk through inspection of the system all the while explaining in detail what he was doing and giving me tips on what to look put for in the future. I contacted AHA due to a AC issue. They came out within 2 days of my request. Other companies were more than 7 days out. Scott called just prior to showing up at the house. He was very professional and knowledgeable. The fix was easy and he offered options on how to go forward. He also showed me what I could do if the problem reoccurs before the new part arrives. When temperatures are well over 90 degrees you dont want your system down. Very impressed with Scott and AHA. I signed up for their maintenance program.

Exceptional Customer Service! The Albemarle Heating and Air Sales Representative, Technician and the Installers were all wonderful! When my central ac/ heat pump system broke down that was 18 years old and it was a standard system, the Technician from Albemarle Heating and Air checked it out and explained in detail the issue with it which I knew the system had been struggling to keep working for some time. Their Sales Representative met with me on a replacement system, and he was very informative and did not pressure me and answered all my questions. The Installers worked hard all day at puting the new system in, which was a Trane system. They were all extremely helpful and dedicated. I am very happy with them and my new system! Our air conditioning went out on a Saturday evening with company coming, and Albemarle Heating had William Foster at our house to check the unit first thing on Sunday. The indoor unit needed a new motor, and they had the part by close of business on Monday. Because of our schedules, the repair couldnt be set up for a couple of days, but William returned today and the system is all fixed now, including the six-month inspection and more refrigerant. Great service, as always! Thank you so much for doing this so quickly. I highly recommend them!

The service person arrived at the early end of the time frame arranged, conducted a thorough maintenance check of the components of the heat pump system, was careful in using booties going from outside to inside, and personally was courteous and agreeable. The charge was also entirely reasonable. I certainly would use Albemarle Heating & Air again and I am happy to recommend them.

Less than a month after moving into our new home, both of our heat pumps quit. Despite it being the hot busy season, someone (Marty) was able to come assess what needed to be done (both needed to be fully replaced). He thoroughly explained all of our options, including pricing. After we made a decision on what systems we wanted, we were scheduled for replacement in approximately one week. To help us stay cool. In the meantime, we were provided with two window air conditioning units. They were lifesavers!The day before installation, we got a call to confirm that appointment. I was told that the team would arrive between 8:30 and 9, and that it would take approximately four days. Fermin arrived every day between 8:30 and 8:45. He was kind, professional, and answered all of my questions. Every day before he left, he told me what has been accomplished, and what to expect for the next day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

From the beginning when i called Albemarle Heating to see if a service tech could make a visit to check out my heating system that had not been working over the cold weekend I was amazed at the efficiency and ease i was able to make a same day appointment with Kenzie(?). Then Chris the service tech called midmorning to see if it was convenient if he arrived earlier to assess the furnace since his first stop that morning was completed earlier than expected. He got to work and after some preliminary checks he deduced the problem,showed and explained to me what needed to be repaired. Chris cleaned up after promptly repairing the part .My furnace was up and running again. He was friendly , knowledgeable and efficient .Topnotch service from both of them

Scott excelled! I learned something about my current set-up and things I should be thinking about for next-steps, all to help me plan, budget and do some additional research. He thoughtfully donned the booties over his shoes, went to the already-warm attic, and began the HVAC maintenance process. Ivan went above and beyond by rinsing the coils in the outside container, which apparently had not been done for a while. Albemarle Heating & Air was with us all the way when we had the unfortunate experience of having our air conditioner quit when temperatures were in the 90s heading even higher. They responded quickly and found that the motor for the air handler had shorted out. While we waited three weeks for the part to come from China, they provided us, at no charge to us, three portable air conditioner units. It would have been an extended unbearable situation if we didnt have those units to cool off the house. We are so grateful that we picked them and will call them for all future maintenance and repairs on our HVAC system,. We needed our heat fixed and didn’t know who to go to and be able to trust. I found them quite by accident as I was delivering to them and thought ok, I’ll just talk to them real quick. A man came up quickly and talked with me and within 2 days I had an appointment for technician to come to my home. Katie was great! Knew exactly what she was doing and quickly diagnosed the problem. She was very professional and explained the options of multiple ways to repair our heat unit. But in the meantime, got our emergency heat working so we have some heat!! We’ve decided that when we need our heat/ac serviced we will use Albemarle Heating and Air and request Katie Stanonik to be our technician!

I have been a customer of AHA for over 20 years. Everyone they have ever sent to my home knew what they were doing and balanced that tension between engaging me with my questions but not telling me more than I can understand. It is really impressive that AHA can maintain such a solid team in the midst of the labor shortage. They are more expensive than their competitors but you get what you pay for and who I let into my home matters.

Josh was excellent, very responsive. This was for a rental property, and we had missed the renewal form for the annual maintenance. When he told me we needed a couple of parts for the ac compressor, he told me what our savings would be if we renewed the maintenance contract, and it was a no-briner to complete the transaction right then. We recently used Albemarle Heating and Air to replace our upstairs HVAC unit, install a section of replacement duct work, and do maintenance on our downstairs HVAC unit. Dan was incredibly professional and responsive throughout the process- from thoughtful quoting to job completion. We had some issues come up during the process which were handled professionally and quickly to our satisfaction. Alan and Chris were very knowledgeable techs who worked on our installation. It is clear that this company stands by their work, values customer satisfaction, and has a great reputation for a reason. We will definitely hire them again for future needs.

A few months ago I replaced a failing thermostat with the cheapest thermostat I could find at Lowes. I messed up the wiring unwittingly, then went several months without heat or cooling as I lost my job about the same time. After getting a new job I finally contacted Albemarle Heating and Air, who sent out Scott the next time I was available. When Scott from Albemarle Heating and Air arrived and heard that I was an avid DIY-er, he spent the time educating me on proper maintenance of the system while he systematically troubleshot the issue. He was professional, friendly, efficient, educational, and also found issues with the system that had been there when I purchased the house three years ago and recommended next steps. I couldnt be happier with the service I received or with Scott himself.

Mr. Sanchez showed up on time. Found the problem with the unit caused by a prolonged outage from the storm damage. Once the problem was corrected, he explained the features that were never explained by original installation; ie location of breaker/panel switch and what to do if this problem occurs again. Overall, he was very professional & patient with customers with us regarding the technical issues. We were more than satisfied with his time, manner, effort & patience with us. Very good work.
