    Just as the summer heat topped out, our A/C failed. Fitch was able to send someone out right away to diagnose a leaking coil. Jason, the lead technician, was pleasant, efficient and very understanding of the urgency of the situation. He was able to come back within two days to install the new coil. Expensive, but worth it!

    We are very long term customers of Fitch Services. When we renovated our home in the mid 1990s we used Fitch Services for HVAC and electrical improvements. In the early 2000s Fitch replaced all of our plumbing. We are thoroughly satisfied customers, who strongly recommend this quality company to meet your heating, cooling, power, and plumbing needs. Yesterday evening our boiler pump was leaking water. I called. Early this morning the Fitch team arrived and analyzed the situation. We had repaired boiler a few hours later. Fitch services is reliable and dependable. Thank you for consistently meeting our home’s needs.

    Using a referral from a friend, we had an initial estimate to replace a range hood in our kitchen and decided to hire Fitch Services. Jason and Bradley completed the work in a timely and efficient manner using a part of the garage as a staging area. They were very pleasant and professional and after the installation cleaned and vacuumed the kitchen work area well; they also disposed of the old range hood. Later that day we found a nail in the staging area in the garage which thankfully didn’t affect my car tires. We informed the incident to Nola, where she apologized on behalf of her team with the aim of improving in the future. Nola is terrific to coordinate all aspects of a job: appointments, cost estimates, and relay questions/product recommendations to her team. I will use them again without hesitation.

    If you lose heat during the coldest days of the winter or air on the hottest days of summer the last thing you want to do wait or pay for an emergency service call. Fitch has always pleasantly surprised me by showing up on the same day that I call for their regular service call price. The technicians are friendly but most importantly knowledgeable.

    Fitch is the best. We began using them on the recommendation of a longtime local coffee shop owner. They’ve done electrical work for us, fixed plumbing, and recently installed three mini-splits. The company’s owner himself came out to do the consultation on the mini split system. The techs are always professional, helpful, patient, respectful, knowledgeable, and friendly, and they never upsell or overcharge. The dispatching/scheduling staff is also friendly and helpful and has been there ever since we started using them, and they’ll make an extra effort to help out longtime customers. Really cannot say enough good stuff. Use Fitch, you won’t be sorry.

    Superb service. Found hot water heater leak on Sat.afternoon. Within l/2 hr.of phone call, Fitch technician was on the job. He found suitable replacement and next morning, Sunday, at 8:15, crew arrived with new unit and installed it. Competent, prompt, courteous. Have used Fitch some 20 years for HVAC, plumbing, electric and cannot recommend them highly enough. I like supporting locally-owned businesses that are totally trustworthy.

    New review 10/14/2022 - Thomas was just here to do our Fall system service. He was on time, prepared, very courteous and extremely helpful. He didnt mind me asking questions. He was efficient as well. This is one reason I have continued to use Fitch for years. Side note - I didnt realize they also did plumbing but will keep that in mind for future needs!Just had our heat pump replaced ($ ouch!), but these folks made it a little less painful. Jason and his partner were terrific - very professional, clean, and efficient - and it was 90+ degrees (probably over 100 in the attic!). Fitch has been doing our regular bi-annual service for years. Highly recommended.

    We had three ceiling fans installed in our house. Fitch was on time, friendly, and professional. They cleaned up any mess that was created and finished the job rather promptly. Besides the small holes above the light switches, which I believe was necessary to run the electrical wiring, we are very happy with the result, and would recommend them to anyone looking for their services.

    Fitch has been our go-to for home repairs for the past year. We have a mid-century ranch that is suddenly needing all kinds of maintenance repairs. The competent, professional, friendly teams at Fitch have installed new light fixtures and a ceiling fan. repaired corroded pipes in a downstairs bathroom, replaced an old water heater. Nola in the office schedules accurately, stays in communication throughout the process, and the service folks who come to do the work couldnt be nicer. Dont think twice about calling Fitch!

    Outstanding service! Fitch has been my service provider for plumbing and HVAC over the last couple of years. Interactions with the owner, front office staff and technicians have always been positive. Two examples stand out: 1) When my sewage pump went out in my recently renovated basement, the technician recommended I go back to the contractor since the pump was less than a year old and should have been covered under warranty (which it was). The technician could have easily sold me another pump, but ended up saving me money. 2) Most recently, my ancient heat pump broke down. I told Mr. Fitch that I would only be staying in my house a couple of more years. Rather than upselling a more expensive model, he recommended one that was both energy efficient, and more affordable than the premiummodels. While good service can still be found, it is extremely hard to find a company with integrity, quality, work and customer service together. FITCH will continue to be my company of choice for my electrical and plumbing needs!

    Our 25 year old air conditioning unit finally died as soon as the weather started heating up. Fitch was able to schedule a technician to come out within a few days to get the whole thing replaced and up and running. Nola in the office was incredibly responsive. She answered all my emails and all my questions quickly and with a great attitude. All of the guys who came out to give us an estimate and then actually install the new unit were professional, courteous, and on-time. When we had a concern about the thermostat, they came right out the next day and sorted that out for no charge. The cost was very reasonable and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

    During mid-July heat, our HVAC wasn’t working. I called a number of repair services and Fitch was the first to respond, getting a tech to us the same day. For that, they have to get at least a good review. But Nola on the phone and Thomas, our tech, were very professional and friendly. Thomas diagnosed the problem and, in less than 24 hours, they determined the motor needed to be under warranty had it delivered and installed in less than 24 hours. That deserves five stars.

    I say this without hope or agenda, and I am certainly not blowing smoke, but Liam and Alex are some of the most professional and kind people I have EVER had the good fortune to have met. My parents (for a long while now) have had an electrical issue in their garage. An issue that, up until today, couldnt be figured out by multiple technicians. Liam and Alex arrived and had it fixed within a couple hours. I will say it again, hand to heart, these two have gone above and beyond to make sure that my parents had everything they needed. They worked exceptionally hard, were generous with their time when my curiosity asked questions, they didnt stop until the job was done and the issue was fixed, and they showed great care for the property. In my, close to 40 years, I have seen a lot of workers come to locations and again, I have NEVER seen two more dedicated souls than these two.     I knew of Fitch Services and their technicians via my place of employment. The technicians honest and forthright approach to their work was very much appreciated. Weve lived in our 80+ year old for about 2.5 years. From my experience with Fitch at my place of employment, they were initially contacted to come to our residence to address a clogged kitchen sink drain line. It was suggested to us we replace the drain line instead of snaking it. When the old drain line was cut out and shown to me, it was amazing anything had gotten through that line! Glad we chose to replace it. At the time of that work, we also inquired about replacing/updating all the galvanized supply lines in our home. Among other things, the old, galvanized pipe hot water lines in our second floor bathroom had very restricted flow. The scope of the work needed and how it would be done was discussed to make sure we understood where holes in the wall and ceiling would need to be made to access the work, the potential wed be without water for possibly 2 to 3 days depending if this or that happens, and what wed be responsible for, such as fixing/re-plastering the holes. We appreciated the honest assessment of how the project might or would go. All that was discussed before the estimate was put together. Once the estimate was received, my wife and I discussed it and agreed to move forward with the project without getting other bids. Again, all based on the work theyd done at my place of employment. While the technicians were on our project, they kept us updated with daily conversations towards the end of their working day. The technicians treated us both with respect and made sure all our questions were answered thoroughly. The finished project has been great! We were excited to finally have full flow of the hot water! Fitch is now our go to plumber.

    I have used Fitch Services 4 different times. Three times for electrical work and one time for plumbing. With each service I have had a very positive experience with professional staff and excellent results. They are reliable and dependable and I will continue to use them in the future.

    We had Fitch fix both our AC and furnace. We spent about two years trying to fix our AC with another company and eventually basically gave up. In a last ditch effort we called Fitch and they fixed it in an hour.Last Saturday our furnace broke. Within a few hours after calling them they had somebody at our house. While they werent able to fix the problem on that visit they were back first thing Monday and were able to get it working in no time.All people I worked with from the woman that scheduled our service to the technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.All in all - it was a great experience!

    I wish I had found them sooner!!!! This company is amazing. Used them the first time six months ago when my well pump went out. They came out THAT DAY (three times, mind you), until they were able to figure out the problem, and then two of their technicians, who had the next day (Saturday) off, came back out at 7:00 a.m. to replace my well pump. Their service was excellent, and their prices were reasonable- much less than wed anticipated.Today (as of this writing), we had issues associated with our water (not due to their previous work- our house is more than a century old), and Jason, one of the techs who replaced my pump six months ago, was out here in less than an hour after I called, and we live half an our outside of town. He diagnosed and fixed my problem on the spot, and again, the price was half of what wed anticipated. I will NEVER call ANYONE other than FITCH for any of my plumbing, electrical, heating or cooling needs. I cannot recommend this company enough!

    The water main broke from our home to the street. We were insured for such an occurrence by Dominion Power. The power company contracted with Fitch Services to repair the main. Two young men (Chris and Preston) first defined the scope of work with us and submitted it to the power company. A few days later they arrived and completed the repair in one full day.The workers were very professional and were meticulous in returning our property to the way it appeared before all the digging and drilling. They carefully removed and replaced plants, and the gravel in our driveway, and the concrete on our porch.We are very pleased with the work that was done and will call this company again for services and will not hesitate to recommend it.

    Adding to my earlier review, this time for electrical and HVAC rough ins:Fitch installed rough ins for electrical (outlets, cans, typical stuff) and an in-ceiling mini split. During the process of selecting an HVAC options and electrical layouts Chris was extremely responsive in working with me to describe out options and prices. Being the project manager for my own job I had numerous questions for Chris during the planning stages, and the installers during the day of. Everybody was extremely helpful and always checked with me if they ran into an unanticipated issue that needed a decision. The work was completed as billed and I look forward to them coming back to trim out the space once the finished walls and ceiling are up.--------I hired Fitch for rough-ins (plumbing, electrical & HVAC). This review is for plumbing. Chris (president) came out to look at the space and provide the quote. Price was reasonable and he was very responsive. The plumbers (Brent & chris (dif chris)) took 2 days to do the work and did an absolutely awesome job. They walked the job with me first thing to make sure we were on the same page with where things were going to go and circled back with me throughout the day as they found a few things they needed to work around. The plumbers insulated the pipes in the ceiling and did a great job of hiding the waste lines in the garage ceiling before running them along the side of the ceiling which will enable a soffit to hide them. Both of these things were discussed as not necessary/possible during the original walk through with Chris so I was very pleased to see Brent take the initiative to do it right. Brent also knew his stuff when it came to the joists. He explained to me that he couldnt cut through the engineered joists and had to come up with a work around (Ive heard horror stories where contractors just cut through support structures against code...). The only miscommunication was about the tub (they put one in with plastic sidewalls instead of leaving it open for tile work). But that was more my fault for not clarifying and in the end itll save me some money and it looks good for what will be a little used shower. All in all Id recommend Fitch for future plumbing work in a heart beat.

    As I also commented on both Facebook and Angies List this was a good experience. The service was performed as scheduled and well. There was a glitch in the billing (which can happen in any business) but their own people detected it and contacted me about it and took care of it on their own initiative. Greatly appreciated!
