Dean has come to our home a couple times now to fix various issues. He always gets the job done, and in a timely manner. When there was a mysterious odor coming from our toilet, we weren’t sure if it was the toilet seat (an easier, cheaper fix) or if there was an issue with the flooring around the base of the toilet (definitely a more expensive fix). He could have easily started with the “tougher” fix and charged more, but instead he told us he would start with the easier thing first and take it from there. We definitely feel we can trust him, which can be hard to find.

All of our drains/toilets all of the sudden backed up today. Called Rooter Man and they sent Robert over within an hour. Ended up being quite complicated to find access to our pipe due to a renovation we had done. Robert worked really hard, found the pipe in our yard, dug out a big hole, cleaned out the pipes, replaced the dirt and sod and we can hardly tell he was here. Fantastic service, great guy, professional and a very fair price. I would highly recommend these folks!!

When the time came to look a little deeper for a solution, he experimented to find a way to fix our problem that other plumbers we hired werent able to think of. Travis was incredibly helpful. We’d been without hot water for 3 days after another company told us that we needed either to order a new part or replace the entire water heater. So glad we got a second opinion! Within 5 minutes of Travis checking out the issue, he found the problem and resolved it without any replacements. He also took the time to show us how to address the issue on our own if happened again since it required just pressing a few buttons on the water heater. He even helped to sweep up the dust behind the appliance! Absolutely would use this company again. UPDATE: Our hot water went out again unexpectedly (right before the weekend), and Rooter Man was in thankfully able to squeeze us in last-minute. Travis helped us again, and as before, the service was awesome. He was patient and took the time to explain what the recurring issue is, show how we could try to address it on our own, and took time to identify alternative solutions. We really appreciate the awesome service!

We had a sewage backup and it was “fixed” Friday afternoon by unknown, and when presented with a reoccurring issue this morning at 8 am, I called around 10 am Saturday morning since we’re in the middle of getting stuff from storage a few towns over. Travis was able to set realistic expectations with setting up a time to reevaluate the issue that would work for both our schedules. Not only that, he allowed me to see what the issue was and suggested ways to prevent it from continuing to happen. I can not say enough good things about this company. Our kitchen sink clogged for no apparent reason the day before a house full of company was due to come in. we called a company we had previously used and they gave us an appointment for a week out. that was not going to work. I went on my trusty Facebook page and asked for referrals .Everyone said Rooterman and Nelson Huggins were great so my husband left a message at 9 pm on a Sunday night and they were there before 10 am the next day. I dont appreciate a bait and switch, where the advertised price is drastically different than the estimate provided once the contractor is in the door, especially considering you must pay a Service Call fee. However, when I called Rooter Man and explained my issue, they put me in touch with Alex, one of their technicians. Alex was extremely helpful and took the time to talk through my specific drain problem, the likely causes and solutions, and potential costs. Right away, I began to sense this company was going to be different than the first company I called. The next day, Alex and Milton arrived on time and went right to work. They were extremely professional, courteous and resolved the drain problem in about 30 minutes. There was no bait and switch on the costs and in fact, the pricing was very reasonable. I appreciate their service and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing or drain service.

A tenant at my houses toilet stopped working, and upon Alexs arrival, he found that the issue was very minor (associated with calcium buildup). Given the fact that I (the person paying) was not able to be there, I expected this to be where many companies/technicians find ways to tack on extra charges for their work. Instead, he charged no fee outside of the very reasonable base fee for them to come diagnose the issue, as it was a simple fix.In a perfect world, that should be the expectation, but given my history of paying through the nose for things that I dont typically know how to work on myself, I very much appreciate Alexs honesty.
