We had Andrew and Daniel come to two different properties for evaluations, service and repairs. They were prompt, courteous and very professional. They were personable and easy to talk to, as well. Andrew found the source of a leak quickly and reduced his charge to just a service charge for that. He gave us a recommendation for another business for repair, flushed our tankless water heater, and answered all my questions. Daniel addressed what we had discovered was wrong and even found another issue we had overlooked and fixed that for no charge! Even our conversations with the office staff were pleasant. Had to do the mandatory backflow testing, easy to book the appointment meant, tech was great. Fast and polite. Gotta shoutout Kim, our water company “misplaced” or were backlogged or something. Was greeted today with a letter saying they were going to turn off the water. Contacted them and Blitch, then Kim called me to say it was all taken care of, little while later the water company said it was resolved. Great customer service :)

We were supposed to have a new washer installed in our house. But the delivery guys refused to set it up saying that we need to fix the rusted shut-off valves. Apparently, we have fragile PVC pipes in our old house and it requires a true professional to replace the valves without damaging the brittle water lines. Jay and his crew did a great job replacing the valves. They are very polite and knowledgeable. The Blitch company is the best.

I have had this company out to my house multiple times, from water heater replacement to a simple tub spout repair, these guy knew their stuff! Very knowledgeable and ready to explain what exactly the issue was and what caused it. They gave me advise on how to prevent the damage in the future and discussed pricing before any changes were made. The technicians were also very courteous about not leaving a mess and very easy to talk to. They will be my plumbing company for as long as I live in the Charleston area! And I will be recommending them to anyone.

I have nothing but praises to sing about Blitch Plumbing 😊 I needed a new gas hot water heater after 17 years. I definitely didn’t want to use the last company so I started asking neighbors. They all used “friends” who were plumbers. I’m glad one of my friends mentioned Blitch, so I called. I talked to the most friendly, professional lady named Brande who helped arrange everything start to finish. I love Brande! It was a stress free, wonderful experience. She sent Jay out for an estimate and he was so nice and personable and right away - showed me everything that would be done to get to code, etc. I received a very fair, reasonable quote - saying I would be getting work done from a reputable Charleston company. Clint installed my unit and it is beautiful. Clint is a master at hot water install and it’s done right with no worries about gas. I don’t think I’ve ever looked at a hot water heater in my life with such admiration. This is a top notch company and locally owned. I will call on Blitch for all Plumbing / gas / hot water needs. That old saying - you get what you pay for rings true when I see the work they did, compared to my neighbors. And you don’t want to mess around with someone who does plumbing on the side when it comes to gas, etc. Thank you Brande, Jay and Clint!!

So happy we called Blitch. This was our second plumber in a week to come in and going forward they will be our first call next time. They diagnosed and resolved our backed up plumbing issues and saved us over $10,000 from what the other company tried to charge us to re-plumb the entire house. All pricing was up front and our tech, Daniel was very thorough and such a pleasure to work with. We will unquestionably call them with all future plumbing needs.

Over the years, we’ve called Blitch to make plumbing repairs to our older home, and we’re very pleased with everything they’ve done. Sometimes, we even got same day service. Megan, Jackie, and Brandy have always done their best to accommodate us when they scheduled our appointments, and Rob, Bob, Peter, and Clint, who are all very friendly and know what they’re doing, called ahead, showed up on time, and got the jobs done. Recently, we had a garbage disposal that needed to be replaced, and we had a blocked drain line, which needed to be routed and cleared. Part of that problem was traced to drain lines in our crawl space which were the wrong diameter and had been improperly installed. We’ve already scheduled Blitch to replace these drain lines for us. We are very pleased with Blitch Plumbing and would recommend them to anyone. Good people, good service, reasonable prices, and very dependable.

I highly recommend Blitch Plumbing.We recently had an issue with our old hot water heater, and we called Blitch Plumbing. Blitch had a service representative out very quickly to diagnose the issue. Our service representative was punctual, kind, and knowledgeable. We decided it was most cost-effective for us to replace the older hot-water heater with a newer model rather than fix it.The next day, Blitch Plumbing was able to come back to our house again with a new replacement hot water heater and install it. Again, I was impressed with the punctuality, kindness, and knowledge of our plumber.Their work is high-quality, and I wouldn’t go with anyone else.

We had a leaking Disposal under the sink this morning. Called at 9 AM and Brandy said they could come out after 1 PM today! Received a call from Brandy in the office at 10: 30 to tell me they could come by sooner. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t be at home. Brandy called at 12:30 to advise Clint, our tech was on his way.Clint showed up on time and determined the problem, then gave me a price to replace the Disposal. He had the part on the van and replaced it in a short amount of time. Great same-day service is offered by Blitch Plumbing, Clint, and Brandy. Will always be our local go-to company in plumbing!

I just had my bathtub/shower combination replaced with a walk-in shower. Blitch Plumbing came out and had to totally reconfigure the water connection for the new shower. In addition, the toilet had to be moved entailing the toilet drain needing to be moved also. Ramsey from Blitch came on time, knew exactly how everything had to be done; had all of his materials with him and properly configured the pipes in the wall making sure they were secure. Three important things; Ramsey came when he said he would, completed the job in a timely manner, and meticulously cleaned up after each job. I could not be happier with a job well done. I would highly recommend Blitch Plumbing for any plumbing needs.

Had a problem with a shut off valve, Roger that works at Lowe’s showed me how to do it myself at Lowe’s and what tools I’d need to get it done and how much that would cost for unique tools and parts. I decided it wasn’t worth my money to buy all the one-time-use tools that the job requires and I’m very glad I did.They sent out Bob the next day, quickly explained the problem just as Roger did, got it fixed and charged me $15 more than I would have paid to do it myself with parts TOOLS and labor. I can guarantee it would have taken me way more than 15$ worth of my own labor and YouTube searching to do the same job with new tools I’d only use once every 10 years. Prices are high but so is the cost of tools.

Replaced 1 valve and added a extension pipe. He installed new fixture. He was finished in an hour. The only negative was the price, but I was informed up front what it would be an I accepted. He gave me a discount because the job was easier than expected. I am happy!

My aunt called me at 1AM to tell me shed broken her kitchen fixture and water was spewing everywhere. I called Blitch and got their after hours answering service. The lady I spoke with was very kind and understanding as I was in a panic and worried amount of damage this was causing. She contacted the tech on call (Ed), who called me back in less than 5 minutes. Long story short, because there were no shut off valves installed under the sink, I repair could not be made immediately but Ed assured me he could get a crew out first thing in the morning to fix. I already had Mt. Pleasant Waterworks on their way to turn off at street (aunt did not have the tool to shut off water at meter, ugh!).The next morning, Ed called my cell before his office even opened. He said he could reroute a crew and get to my aunts house first thing to get it fixed as he knew she had been without water service to the house. The crew is probably at the house as I am writing this so I cant speak to the quality of work or pricing but if the service we received last night is any indication, Im sure we will be pleased. Note that I called several other companies and Blitch is the only one that had a live person answering the phone.I run a service business myself and I can guarantee that my staff and I will continue to recommend Blitch Plumbing to all our clients as well as friends and family.

Blitch recently installed a tankless water heater to replace my 14 year old 80 gallon water heater. Everything went as promised by Jay who came to my house to provide an estimate. Ed who handles scheduling, the team that actually did the installation, and Brandi who answers the phone and helps chase down any questions one may have about the job were all very professional. I shopped around a few plumbers for this work and called Blitch based on a recommendation from a neighbor on the Nextdoor webpage. Turned out that recommendation was spot on as Blitch offered competitive pricing for this job, answered all my questions, and were generally very helpful in explaining the whole process of required city inspections as I also had SCE&G running a new gas service as well. Also, you can tell that the people who work for Blitch take the needed time to do a quality job and that they take pride in their work.

I had the best experience with Blitch replacing my old water heater with a tankless system. I couldn’t have asked for a better technician! His name was Paul and his assistant was Cameron. It was a top notch installation that involved changing gas lines, electricity, moving washers and dryers cutting through brick to the outside, etc. it had been a very stressful week with the water heater busting and filling my garage with water so I was thankful to have people as nice as Paul and Cameron helping me. I will be calling Blitch every time I need plumbing services.
