I am very happy about the work that Rapid Repairs did for me. Several projects were quite complicated and Will knew exactly what to do. For a project he wasn’t an expert on, he knew another expert who could do it. He fixed wood rot behind a gutter, in a complicated area of the house where there are three angles. He also weatherized my French doors perfectly—rehanging the doors so everything fit exactly right. He also fixed a VERY heavy gate opening that was sagging. It had been fixed twice before, but his proposal will be a permanent fix. He repaired front stair masonry and loose railings He took the time to get longer bolts for the rail so that the repair will last longer. He explained each project in laymans terms. He was on time and worked late to complete the projects. And he was very friendly.I sent an email request via their website describing the projects and I was called the next business morning. Will was scheduled quickly to provide estimates (received same day) and scheduled quickly to start them. Everyone from start to finish was friendly and professional. I’m picky about work done for my home and Rapid Repairs met my high standards. I definitely recommend them.I just had additional work done by Dennis at Rapid Repairs. He expertly fixed complicated plaster work in my older home; caulked gaps in the kitchen counter and wall; and repainted. This is the third contractor I’ve had to do this work and Dennis did a beautiful job. He also re-caulked around my bathtub, which will protect water from dripping through the previous old decaying caulk. Another great job. Dennis was friendly, VERY knowledgeable about his work; arrived on time; explained everything in terms I could understand; answered all my questions; was polite… Another great job done by Rapid Repairs! I usually don’t post many reviews, but my service was excellent.

I can’t say enough good things about Dennis! He’s friendly, knowledgeable, polite, accommodating to being bombarded with questions, willing to go down the rabbit hole of home improvement ideas… and he has a good sense of humor! Rapid Repairs was very prompt and communicative. The tech was very nice and did a good job. The only issue was with cleanup. I had to request the cleanup and still a few nails and screws were left in my driveway as well as some paint splattered on the driveway.

There were several pieces of wood siding on the 2nd floor of my house that needed to be replaced. Charles arrived Fri morning to check it out & give me an estimate for repairs. After I signed the agreement he was able to start work that afternoon. It was too big a job to be done in one day, so he came back Mon & spent the whole day working on it. He finished it on Mon & it looks great. Charles was always polite & always kept me informed on what he was doing. I definitely recommend Rapid Repairs.

Ive used Rapid Repairs several times for things I needed to get done quickly and correctly. It is difficult to get contractors on Johns Island, most want work on Kiawah, Seabrook, Mt P, or Downtown where the money is.Rapid Repairs is often not the cheapest alternative, but they are extremely upfront about pricing and they are very fast to respond. I think I first used them in 2004, and each job they have completed as been done correctly without a need to call them back out for any subsequent fixes.The employees always give accurate notice on when they will arrive and do a good job of cleaning up after themselves when the job is complete. I will continue to use them when I have something that needs to be fixed quickly with as little fuss as possible.

Craig at Rapid Repairs did an amazing job fixing several issues at my house including numerous windows and porch wood boards / columns which had wood rot due to rain / water damage. He was extremely professional throughout the inspection, quote and job completion process, with great communication and punctuality. He adeptly identified the root causes of issues to address to help ensure that the same problems wouldnt happen again, and also helped me identify other items to consider for inspection to help mitigate / prevent future repair needs. Extremely pleased with his work and would highly recommend to others. Wish I had called sooner.Just an update to my original review, but given the great work done on the first project I had Craig and Rapid Repairs complete a 2nd set of projects for me, once again focused on fixing issues caused by rain / water damage / weather to my 2nd floor porch and the fascia trim around my roof. Craig once again did an amazing job, was very thorough and completed the project in a timely / efficient manner. He also went above and beyond and completed the work while I was away from the house for a few days which required a bit more communication / coordination which was greatly appreciated as I didnt want to delay the work to prevent further issues / damages. I look forward to continuing to engage Craig and Rapid Repairs with helping me address repairs inside and outside my home. He and the team are very knowledgeable and direct in terms of their inspections and recommendations while not trying to sell you on unnecessary issues.

Work completed on time and in excellent condition. Additional problem uncovered, but technician was able to address the issue. Procedure was dryer vent cleaning with discovery of disconnected exhaust tube. Tech removed sections of dry wall to discover source with great skill and neatness. Disconnection successfully discovered. Wonderful service and highly qualified technician. Left the job after cleaning up and making sure all my questions were answered. Perfect way to do business. They will service all my repair needs from now on.

As a homeowner, I like to DIY when I feel I’m capable. After I botched what should have been a simple toilet repair, I contacted Rapid Repairs yesterday and they were able to send Greg this morning. I explained the situation to Greg and he was, to my surprise, complimentary of the efforts I had made. I had put a lot of time and work into this project and failure left me feeling pretty discouraged. So, his kindness was much appreciated.Greg was professional, knowledgeable and competent and I’m pleased with his repair work. I’d also like to mention awesome Meghan who scheduled my appointment for Wednesday, then called me back to let me know she found a way to move my appointment to Tuesday morning! Thanks for going the extra mile! Greg quoted a price before starting the work and I must admit it was a good deal more than I expected. But, I needed a repair quickly and they made it happen. Also, enrolling in their Standard Club Program for one year at $9.95 per month discounted today’s cost by 10%, reduced the service fee from $99 to $39, provided extended warranty, no cost annual inspection, priority service and 10% discount on future plumbing repairs. Good people, good work-I’m good with that.

This is the second time I have used this company, but the first time they have done an in-home repair for me. Dennis was my technician, and he fixed two doors that would not close in our home. He came and gave me a complete estimate, left to gather materials needed, and came back promptly to finish the job before lunchtime. I was very impressed that he was able to get everything done to my satisfaction in such a short amount of time. Everything works correctly, and we are very happy with the results! We would definitely use Dennis and Rapid Repairs again!

We needed some cabinets modified to fit our incoming refrigerator. I saw their commercial on TV at 6:30 am filled out the on-line request. Bryan called me at 8:00 am and Will showed up that afternoon. We were lucky to have Will who is a 3rd generation cabinet-maker assigned to our project. He provided the initial estimate, showed up to move cabinets, and returned after refrigerator was delivered to complete the build-in. He even sketched three designs for us to select. Great communication with texts alerting us of arrival times. We liked Rapid Repairs so much we signed up for the whole house inspection and on call maintenance program.

Craig made recommendations for building flower boxes on an outside deck and making significant repairs to areas of the deck exposed to rain and sun. He made good suggestions and a very detailed and accurate estimate of work to be done and time needed to complete. He was well organized and disciplined in his carrying out the job. I needed a few shingles replaced/fixed and spoke to a wonderful person when I initially called. She offered an initially price estimate, based on what I shared with her and said the roofer would give me a call that day to set up an appointment. He did call and was able to come out the next day. He arrived on time and was exceptionally professional and pleasant. He gave me a formal quote, which was quite reasonable, and then was off working. Completed the work within an hour, and sent before/after photos. They have a 1 year warranty on the work. The process couldnt have been smoother or more rapid! I would highly recommend their services.

Bennett did an excellent job of evaluating the situation and explaining the options. As he noted from the beginning, not the least expensive option, but the long history of reliability was really important. I have never found low bidders to have been a good choice. I plan to go with him on this project. When he finished the job, everything looked great. The door worked for the first time in 10 years - it was a very heavy metal French door- and everything looked great. The new weather stripping made it a little snug as far as closing is concerned, but he said to give it a few weeks and let him know if it doesnt improve.

Amazing work, incredible, talented tradesmen, and overall a fantastic experience. We were in a crisis. We had a drain pipe leak inside the wall behind our kitchen sink that apparently started slowly and then gushed. By the time we figured it out, we had a mess on our hands that included replacing old pipes and extensive structural damage. Not only did Rapid Repair come immediately, but it was all fixed in a matter of a few days with tradesmen working from morning to night. I cant imagine the headaches we would still be dealing with if Rapid Repairs had not been there for us. Greg is an excellent plumber, Murphy is a skilled electrician and the carpenter (name to come) knew exactly what needed to be done and did so masterfully. Their fees are a bit pricey. Wayfair delivered a bunch of very heavy bedroom furniture that needed to be hauled upstairs and assembled. As such they needed two people, so I essentially paid double their standard rate. I knew this going in and I felt it was worth it for me because I didnt feel like doing it, so I didnt mind. Dont get a quote from someone, review it, and then complain about the prices. Their customer service is TOP NOTCH. Greg was my point of contact and holy smokes was he awesome. He pointed out a piece that was damaged upon delivery and asked straight up if I wanted them to build it anyways (it was damage to the back of the headboard that I wont see, so I had them build it). This lead to me getting $400 back from Wayfair and being able to keep the damaged piece. He took pictures before and after. Greg also used a Magic Eraser to clean up scuff marks they may have left, but also cleaned up a couple other spots caused by another contractor since he wasnt 100% positive he didnt make them himself (he didnt). He also pointed out a couple drywall repair spots that needed touched up. Its a new construction home so the builder will repair under warranty, but the fact that he pointed them out was really nice. I will definitely be used them again for other services I dont feel like doing myself. I hate that I dont remember the other guys name, but it was four letters and started with a B. Bart? Also a fantastic rep who gave me some tips and recommendations on getting my Tesla charger installed.10/10 would recommend!

I recently sold my home in the Summerville, SC and had some issues come up during the home inspection and CL-100 inspection. I contacted Rapid Repairs and knew from my first conversation with Bryan I was going to hire them to take care of all of the issues. He was quick to come out to my house to take a look at all of the items (mainly crawlspace issues, but I also had an external door replaced and a few other odd jobs). Bryan took the time to explain to me what needed done and the process required to clear all inspections before closing (didnt assume I should know) and was honest about his pricing and what he could and recommended be done. The work was quickly scheduled, Charles, that came to do the work, was on time every day he said hed be there, kept me informed, and completed everything he said hed do each day. I was working with a short time-frame due to the closing date approaching so having someone honest about expectations and timely meant a lot. I cant recommend or praise this business enough!

He had to return on the following day to complete the work and he was still prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. I obviously received the price and then I gave a not so favorable review. The previous one was that for exactly possibly Ive been insanely busy but I would never ruin a business or try to hurt them in any way for any purpose I am extremely sorry and I have tried to rectify it have told them this and I will use them no matter use them what situation is as soon as humanly possible. Whether they want my business or not or if I want to use them or not. I feel I owe them that much because I dont know who saw the review or who didnt! It wasnt even 24 hours before I was on the phone with them trying to apologize it all wasnt peaches and roses trying to get that done. If I make a mistake I am the first one to admit it so I am admitting that I was hasty and Im rectifying I cant possibly know how many people saw that review but it couldnt have been too many people but how should I know. The only thing I do know for sure is that I have talked to other and as far as attitudes go there are other companies that I might prefer to use even when I was apologizing profusely and trying to make it better. In fact they told me I did not need to use them as a company. I dont know many businesses that can freely turn down business but once again I am not the business all I ever did was get a price and it was not for a curtain rod it was a shower curtain rod that screwed into the wall. I also know I had said that I had a laundry list of things that needed done. The quality of their work is solid and they stand behind it.Rapid Repairs came by our office to caulk sinks (a contractor installed a few years back). Our concerns were water damage and mold . The repairman asked a few simple questions, looked at the sinks, and found the cause. The sinks were not properly secured to the wall when they were installed. The tension caused the seal to break over and over.He cleaned-up the drywall (no mold!), found the correct hardware, secured the sink, and replaced the caulk. The issue was resolved, the fees were reasonable, and I was happy. . . but that is not the end of this story.A few weeks later the caulk started to fail. Rapid Repair, came out the same day we called them, replaced the defective materials, and there was no charge (I was pleased to find out that it was covered under their warranty).

Shortly before we sold our house, the inspector found some rotten wood in a door frame wed known nothing about. Rapid Repairs quickly came out to assess the situation and then worked our job into their schedule to replace the rotten wood, and issue the CL-100 clearance letter so we were able to get our house sold by the contract date. I was very impressed by their responsiveness and attention to detail.

Not only are these guys hard working and highly skilled, they are kind, dependable and trustworthy. They went the extra mile to help us and several neighbors after hurricane Dorian. When another business took our money and disappeared after putting up our storm shutters but never taking them down, Rapid Repairs came to the rescue. They worked so hard to get five home’s shutters removed and even stayed after dark to finish the job. I will call Rapid Repairs any time I need a job done.

We have used Rapid Repairs twice. Both jobs were done perfectly; they even cleaned up after themselves. One job was simple - hanging shelves and a TV. The other job was much more complicated - replacing a water damaged ceiling in a bathroom. I was expecting to have to repaint the walls but it wasnt necessary. The work was performed quickly. I don’t know how he manages so much but actually stopped by on his way to his other appointments to help me out with an old lamp that is very important to me.I actually asked him if he sits outside my neighborhood until the exact time he promised to be here so he could continue to be on time every-single-time. And today, I asked if there was anything he couldn’t fix. He couldn’t come up with anything and I am not surprised.The very valuable thing about Dave’s work is that it stays fixed. I had a great experience with Rapid Repairs today. I needed to have some fascia repaired that fell off during the recent hurricane. Charles showed up EARLY for my 8:30 appointment and completed the work swiftly. At a place that charges for every 15 minutes my fear was them taking longer than what you would expect the job to take. That certainly wasnt the case with me. I recommend them to others. In fact, Im going to have them out to do my electric water heater in the not-too-distant future!
