I called Coonse Well Drilling & Pump Company at 8am this morning due to my pump going out at 4am this morning. My Sub Drive Connect control box was showing an F5 error message. Gary Coonse arrived at 9am and after some electrical testing thought my pump had failed. The pump was installed 6 years ago when the home was built.During Gary’s further trouble shooting at the well, he found that 2 wires that were spliced together during the original installation had been rubbing together and exposed the wire to water/moisture which shorted the system. Gary could have easily said it was still a motor issue or a burned out control panel and I would have had believed him. But Gary has integrity, which is becoming rare these days, and showed me the problem. Gary fixed the wiring problem with a proper wire splice, which wasn’t done by the original installer. Gary’s fee was fair and I’m very happy to recommend him to anyone who is having pump issues or needs a well installed.

My parents pump & well from the 60s stopped working late December 2017. We were all going through a rough patch with Dad in the hospital and trying to get the well working again. I tried a couple of options to resurrect the old pump system with no success. I contacted Coonse Drilling. They came out to attempt to get the old system working but circumstances beyond their control caused this to fail. Shortly after this they worked us into their very busy schedule and started drilling a new well. The new well was completed within just a couple of days and then they installed a new pump and system. The new well and pump will be a great addition to Mom and Dads property and we could not be more pleased. Each and every time I had contact with them it was always positive and pleasant. Everyone I worked with from folks in the office, Gene with pump installation to Mike and Rob doing the drilling worked hard to make our situation much better. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Great work and timing to get Mom and Dad water when they needed it.

I have done business with Coonse Well Drilling and Pump for several years. The first time at our previous home, we had our water go off and I called 2 companies for competing bids. The first wanted to put a completely new pump down the well for several thousand dollars. Gene showed up, said my pump was fine, replaced our pressure tank which had a leaking bladder, and was out in a few hours for a few hundred dollars. I have ALWAYS called Gene since.A few years back we moved to a new property, and the previous owner decided to save money on the well construction and did not have screen filters installed. This has caused us numerous problems, that Ive relied on Coonse to address. Since I have Gene on speed dial, he has always fit me in when we are out of water, and been reasonable in their response time when the problems were less severe.Most recently, our subdivision lost access to the irrigation system that served our properties (5 acre lots). Gene came out and evaluated an abandoned well as a possibility and recommended a solution that would serve our subdivision. The other owners werent ready, so my wife and I were on our own. We hired a water engineer to design the well and system we needed to serve our home and irrigate our lot, and put it out to bid. Coonse was not the lowest, and the wait was several months longer, but in many respects a known quantity. The other company was the one that tried to sell me a new pump when all I needed was a pressure tank. So we waited our turn.Andy and his crew drilled the well, and Gene and his guys built the pump system. Both crews were professional and efficient, and we are very satisfied with the results. The water quality and performance are such a contrast to our old system its amazing. I strongly suggest you give this company a shot at bidding for your business.Greg Dickerson

Our family was without water for 3 days, we called around and he came right away and was helpful teaching us about our system with our well and went above and beyond to put us at ease with any questions we threw at him. I called after hours and left a message on their office line. I received a call back first thing the next morning. They said it would be the afternoon before they could send someone out so we called another company. BIG MISTAKE. The other company tried to charge us $1700 for a new controller that we didnt need and another $3300 for a new pump which we also did not need. In the meantime, Gene called me and I told him what was going on. He gave me a quick tutorial and then he came right out and took care of the issue. It was a broken wire and a service call fee of $152. A far cry from what the other place was trying to charge us! I will always use Coonse in the future and will recommend them to my clients as well!!

With all the stress that came with having no water in our home, all I can only say Coonse was amazing!!! Our pump in our well went out on Tuesday evening. That evening we had sent a message online for them to call us in the morning. When we spoke to them in the morning they had already researched and found out all the information needed before calling us. By 4pm Thursday we had water again! I had talked to April on the phone a few times to verify some information and she was very professional and kind. We highly recommend them for all your well Drilling needs. Thank you Coones!

Gene is always incredible to work with! I have used Coonse Drilling many times in the last 12 years. When you have no water the stress level in a home goes up significantly. My mother in law had no water last night.I called Gene at 8:00 PM expecting to leave a message and he answered. He said he could stop by in the morning to take a look at her system. He showed up at 7:30 AM and by 8:15 AM had a new pump controller installed. I cant say enough about Coonse Drilling. Absolutley incredible service with fair prices!

Thankyou so much for getting our well in place and for the communication that was going on between us. Rigs break down, sometimes wells take longer to dig than expected. Things happen and we were a bit delayed in getting our system in, but no harm done. I am grateful to know that if something didnt work years down the road that I would be taken care promptly as a return customer. We havent been able to fire up our system yet because of other contractors in order, but your costumer service has been outstanding. Thanks for letting me ask lots of questions, and providing the invoices as line items so I know what I am paying for.

My moms well went dry and she had no water period, to her home.I was referred to Gene by a friend at Caryon pump and he was out the next day.These guys ROCK!!We had to drill a whole new well,pump ....the whole nine yards and my mom was really worried about the cost. She is retired and on a fixed income.They gave us a quote at the time he came out and we both thought WOW!Not what we were expecting,VERY reasonable.They had her up and running in a matter of a couple days.They are very thourough and clean the site ,they even moved my camper out of the way for them to work!I would recommend them to anyone that needs a proper,clean,on time and professional job!Thank you all so much for the great work!

They came to our rescue when our old well (drilled by another company, no longer in business...I know....shocker) got choked by blue clay and we were running out of water. I would like to complement Mike, Kaden, Bret and Wyatt for the good work they did for us during the project. Also all the other people that worked for this project we didnt get to know. Our H.O.A. (Dunten Place) in Meridian has its own private well and after 14 years, our old pump finally died. I called 6 of the BIG well drilling and pump companies around the valley to get bids on replacing our entire system. Only 2 companies were interested as the old pipe/pump had to be pulled using a crane over one of our member homes at a distance of about 110 feet with power lines on 2 sides.Everyone else wanted the easy jobs, where they could just sit over the well head with their truck, but Coonse didnt hesitate and was very responsive to give us a bid immediately. They not only had the lowest of the 2 bids, but after speaking with Gene at Coonse, he reassured me that using a crane to pull the pump would be no problem, he already had a great contractor that he works with that had the right equipment and the more he described the type of system he would build us, I knew they were the right choice.The work went off without a hitch; nothing was disturbed around the home that the system sat behind; Gene got the whole job done literally in a matter of hours. He met me today at the well to start everything up for the first time as we were ready to begin our watering season and it went flawlessly. He explained how everything worked, how to winterize the system and built us a system that really runs itself automatically after he programmed our new controller...Coonse is definitely the first one to call for all your pump projects, Im so pleased with their work...Great Job!
