I came in contact with JVD Rooter via Homeserve company. For years I was having issues with my sewer line since I bought my house in 2019. I would have to snake it approximately every 4 months. Mark and his associate diagnosed the issue within minutes using a drain camera. His company was the first to do this after 4 years of issues. Apparently, there were roots in the main pipe at every joint. He used his machine to clear out the roots and the pipe looked good as new afterwards. He was meticulous in clearing every last bit of roots protruding from the joints. Other companies had told me that I would have to replace the whole pipe which would have costs me 15k or more. He was a life saver and this is the only company I would use from now on. Very professional and honest. Thanks Mark.

Mark is simply amazing. My main sewer line clogged the night of 31st due to a party event at home. He was dispatched by Homeserve. Though it was a weekend and New Years he still took thee call at my request and stopped by. He uncovered issues in the drain system, worked with Homeserve and cleaned the debris with patience. He could have simply unclogged and left but he made sure the underlying issue was resolved completely. I cant recommend Mark enough.

Wish i knew about you earlier.The Story:Called Mark through HomeServ as JVD was the only company that was responsive and worked after hours. I found out about him only after I got jerked around by another company because in my area, Homeserv prefers this other company (which Ive used a few times and will not name, and the most I can say about them is meh service wise). Lost 48 hours with them scheduling appointments and waiting for them. I got little kids, nightmare situation. Wish I knew about JVD and just made the original request with him.Anywho, not some operator, but he calls me himself. 15 minutes after I made the request. Told me when he left, from where, and when he was arriving, like clockwork. WowHe shows up, and it didnt take him a few minutes to identify where my problem was, and a few minutes to unclog the system.Its been a few weeks since he came and still no issues.Oddly I was happy the first company didnt respond to my request and I was able to meet a good plumber like Mark.Why I was impressed with him was not only how quickly he responded and acknowledged my problem, Sewer backup almost flooded my entire first floor during the day, but afterwards he went the extra mile to explain why this backup happened, what was causing it, and what work I would need to perform in order for me not to have this happen again. Gave me advice on a few other issues he saw as well.Great help sir, Thank you

I had a plumber from another company come and try to unclog the sewer line from our house. I wasnt happy with their work, guy rushed and wasnt patient enough to wait and make sure the line was clear. 2 days later I had the same issue, i called home served and they sent Jvd rooter, they came and not only did they unclothed the line but also went out fo their way to call home serve to get a camera in the lines. They took their time and managed to get the sewer line clear. I cant be more grateful with their outstanding work and professionalism.

I have the sewer line protection service through Suez administered by HomeServe and have needed service several times over the years. After being unsatisfied by their providers I finally asked for them to send me a different provider this time and I met Mark and his company JVD Rooter. I will spare you the details of my issues with main sewer line.Mark did a great job and was super professional, knowledgeable and clean. I will definitely make sure to ask for him again in the future or call directly!

JVD Rooter is excellent. We got them through our insurance Homeserve. Homeserve sent many other plumbers who never solved the problem of our sewage bwing clogged with roots. Mark came with a camera and located the problem and the next day brought a cutting machine that cut the roots out with no mess. No one other plumber was interested in solving the problem. I highly recommend this serve. Prompt, courteous, and hard working.

I have HomeServe ins. for my ongoing sewer issues. Most of the plumbers they sent to my house did the bare minimum or just put a band aid on the job. I even requested they never send some of those back to my house .Finally! We had Mark from JVD rooter sent to take care of our sewer back up and we saw the difference between mediocre and someone who goes above and beyond.Mark did not stop after the clog was cleared, he went a step ahead to snake both inside and out of the house to make sure that the problem does not return. I am going to ask HomeServe to put Mark from JVD Rooter as our permanent repair technician.

The reason why i decided to write this review , I had a bad experience with Lanzo Pumming They couldnt get the Job done they wanted to charged me $1600 to chnage everything . I did call Homesev only for my Clogged Drain Lazo Plummer wanted to make a deal instead of helping me. I Recomend this other Company JVD Rooter Mr Mark Kragiel the best Plummer He came in and did the job without any difficulties or tried to make any deals .JVD Rooter The plummer were very Professtional Mr Kragiel was the best of the best . Marek was punctual, professional and showed expertise. I had an overflowing basement laundry sink which turned out because of clogged exterior pipe. Marek knew the issue before even stepping inside my house, just by looking at my exterior pipe. He diagnosed the problem, got his tools out and got to work, in 98° heat at that! He was patient to show me what the problem was (roots penetrating the pipes) and showed me what exactly he was doing to fix it. Thank you for your promptness, and professionalism! Marak responded to my call for help within minutes.. It was late in the evening and yet he was still willing to come immediately to repair the water that was gushing out of my upstairs toilet into my basement.He was very kind and very knowledgeable about his work. He told us what to do so we could still use the toilet during the night,, and and since it could wait until morning he came the 1st thing in the morning and took care of it..He did a great job. Was neat and clean and very professional. VERY RESPONSIVE AND CALMING!To find someone like him who is willing to leave his home on a cold January night after working all day is a blessing.Maraks name and number are in my phone to call again for any future problems.Since I had to go through Home Serve because I am contracted with them, I can now ask for MARAK AT JVD to respond to my future needs.I should also mention that the original plumbing co. HomeServe put on my work order did not respond for almost 30 hours when they showed up despite having been canceled.I understand all these companies have their personal company work to take care of and that calls are answered in the order they come in. But there should be some way to get in touch with the company who is supposed to do the work for an update on when they will be there.Getting an answer that its the weekend and they are closed does nothing for an anxious, nervous homeowner.AGAIN THANKYOU JVD AND MARAK.I am so happy with the way he responded and the work he did I will certainly use him again and request him if I have to call home serve again

Marek has been the most professional service provider for my sewer system since I have been a member of HomeServe. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and concerned about finding the source of the problem. He engaged with HomeServe to get approval to use his camera to inspect my sewer system and found roots. He then followed up with HomeServe to get approval to come back to my home to clean out the roots. His willingness to share his knowledge with me made me feel confident that my problem will be resolved. Prior service providers came and cleared my sewer system but the problem reoccurred within 2-3 months. The last provider came and used a balloon system that only resolved the problem for 11 days. Marek was also concerned about the cleanliness of his service call. I am glad I requested another provider and connected with Marek. I am happy to write this review and recommend both JVD Rooter and HomeServe for their professionalism and concern in swiftly responding to my request. Thank you for your service.

In short, he helped me to become an educated consumer! By the way, I had this experience after complaining bitterly to Homeserve about my experience with Lanzo plumbing, whom they sent initially. Jvd is amazing ! Prompt and professional. I was so nervous when our toilet was clogged . We tried snaking it oursleves and it did not work . We could not flush any of our bathrooms or use the sink . Without a doubt...recommend this service. Professional, knowledgeable, thorough, prompt and clean. We had issues with our sewer line backup and thankfully have a contract with United Water. At 1st they sent out another company and they were here a few times, back and forth...always a temporary fix. Finally, they sent JVD, who found that we were continually having problems due to tree roots growing in the sewer line, which the original company did not see. JVD literally got to the root of the issue, and were able to cut the roots growing into the line and we havent had issues since. THANK YOU SO MUCH JVD ROOTER!!!

Marek is my hero. He came on Good Friday in the evening and got the line unclogged. Something Lanzo couldnt do for a day and a half. Not only that he ran a camera through and pinpointed a broken sewer pipe so i could fix the actual cause which is in the street; unfortunately not his jurisdiction. I would hire him in an instant for any plumbing job and would recommend Home Serve customers request him for fine service!
