I am very grateful for Saverio DAngelo and the team that Smiley Drain sent to help us! I could tell, right of the bat that these were skilled plumbers. The amount of empathy and patience was unexpected and extremely appreciated!Initially, we knew they would need to replace a portion of an old pipe, which was buried in the foundation, outside of my bedroom. Saws, jackhammers, shovels along with other tools were kept busy and after opening up the foundation, we found the bottom of entire pipe was rotted out, thereis no basement, I am ground level, ended up replacing 20 feet of pipe from inside my bedroom into the garage. The sludge and mold was no surprise. Our home had been under extensive renovations for over a year, and with a couple of weeks left before we moved in, found out out sewer line was completely blocked. After going through a different plumber, who was unable to dislodge the blockage or provide accurate information on our line, we decide to hire Smiley Drain Cleaning.Michael came out the next day to with his team and video, he provided us with a reasonable quote to install a proper clean-out for the main line in our backyard (huge plus for future needs) and have a hydro jetting professional come with better equipment for the job. Michael warned us that this may uncover a serious and costly $$$$ problem if it was a broken connection to the main line, but best case would be he can clear it with the hydro jet machine.The following Monday he was onsite to do the work and within a couple of hours, had dug the hole, replaced the pipe and was successful in clearing the blockage of roots. My family and I are able to move on with our final inspections and move in to our new home without delays. Michael saved our project, and my relief and happiness was overwhelming. I had a kitchen drain that was clogged. Tried snaking for 50 feet and did not help. Reached out to Smiley and they recommended Hydro jetting. They sent an estimate which was the market price. The front desk was responsive and easy to set up an appointment. The technician Darren came on time and reacted quickly . As the charge increases every 15 min after the 1st hour, the technician was quick enough to fix the issue within the first hour. He took necessary precaution to ensure the place is left clean inspite if so much grease that came out. He sprayed extra cleaning solution and cleaned the cabinets. The clog was removed. Been having an issue with Main Drain backup for 2 years now since moving into home. Had it unclogged 4-5 times. After getting what seemed to be the run around with other companies, tried Smiley Drain. Mike came by to hear me out and recommended the Jet so two engineers came by to clear the drain problem. Issue was cleared within the hour, however they required more time and would come back to do a thorough clean of the drain and inspection with camera. Darren came back and finished the process of jetting the remainder of the grime out of the line into the sewer. During the course of the inspection, he re-examined a dip in the pipe that was found and suggested two solutions to correct this type of problem. He will follow-up with Mike who will reach out. Overall I feel that everyone including Darren was honest, professional and feel that I was well taken care of. Response time was very good and wish I did not waist my time looking elsewhere first. Absolutely fantastic service! Cannot rate this company highly enough. Juan came at 8 am (same day) and cleaned out the blockage super quickly. He also cleaned the sewage that had come up and was able to give me some helpful tips for caring for my plumbing.UPDATE: Unfortunately, our sewer drain problems came back a few days later. Luckily for us, Juan was able to come back out to save the day! Not only was he able to get here quick, just like the first time, but he also was able to clean up the blockage free due to their 30 day guarantee! While here, I mentioned I wanted to get a jet cleaning of the sewer lines at some point, and he let me know he had the equipment on hand and could do it at that moment and for a reasonable price! Very quick, courteous and accommodating. Right from the start, the phone call was informative and to the point. Was able to send someone same day for service. Alex came out and explained what might be the problem. I had to take apart some of my retaining wall to access the leader drain and he helped me do that even though that wasn’t part of the scope. He helped with dismantling the leader, and we found the clog was actually right there and not the drain. So he said because he didn’t have to get the big hydro jet and inspection camera out, it would be a regular simple drain clog price. Happy to work with Alex and this company. Price would have been on the high side if my drain would have been clogged but they have the knowledge, experience and tools to get it done and their digital system made things much easier and more efficient too. I would use them in the future.

I called Smiley Drains to inspect my main sewer line based on the recommendation received from my neighbor and the positives reviews online. Stan was very informative and answered all of my questions while he was scoping the sewer line with the camera. Luckily he found no issues and said the line was in excellent condition. He replaced the old screw in plug with a lead plug that was just tapped in place. The plug doesn’t look very secure because it’s not screwed in like the old one, but what do I know, I’m not a plumber. He assured me that it will hold in place, I hope so.
