Jeffery and his supervisor, Duane, helped me out with the pricing which I really appreciated. From now on, I dont think Ill need to look for another plumbing service. This plumbing team is reliable. Cant recommend Duane enough! We had a sudden mishap with our water heater right on the eve of Christmas. Despite the holiday, reaching Duane wasnt a problem. He gave us a suggestion to swap our old, bulky water heater with a new tankless on-demand model from a different brand. I was a bit unsure at first, but it turned out to be an incredible recommendation. Having used it for a few months, I can confidently say that its the perfect fit for our home. No more waiting for the water to warm up after someone else has had a shower, or scheduling laundry around bathing times. Its a fantastic product and has made life so much easier for us parents! So, we decided to seek help over the weekend when the leak began. First thing on Monday morning, we received a call from Micah, who wanted to gather more information about our issue. Micah communicated with the city authorities to get our water turned off at the street the following morning, and ensured a plumber was at our doorstep an hour later. He was incredibly courteous and patient, even when I had to ring him up a few more times to inquire about various aspects of the job. We had tried to get estimates and scheduling from a couple of other places, but none of them were as efficient and confident as Micah in coordinating our repairs and answering our queries swiftly. I regret that I cant remember the name of the plumber who came to do the work, but lets call him Justin. Justin was also quite friendly and professional. He explained our options clearly and carried out the repair perfectly. He replaced our worn-out valve and the main supply pipe from the meter to the water softener, and even tidied up the little mess left by the leak. He managed to complete all this work over a span of two days, putting in a total of seven hours. The company was very good at communication, always getting back promptly on calls. Despite being extremely busy, Paul had to momentarily leave for another job but still managed to finish the task at hand. He was punctual and even had the courtesy to call before arriving on-site, which was much appreciated. The toilet replacements turned out to be fantastic, but I am still awaiting some information regarding the labor warranty. Matthews Brothers Plumbing offers competitive hourly rates, but for longer jobs, it might be more cost-effective to opt for a company that charges per job. I appreciated that they were open to providing a detailed account of the hours spent when I noticed a slight inconsistency with the hours billed.

Recently, I heard a tale about a water heater bursting and causing a flood in a fully furnished basement. With this in mind, I reached out to them and had a discussion with Micah, the owner. I was curious about the lifespan of a water heater and mentioned that mine was about 20 years old. Micah responded that a 20-year-old heater has probably seen its best days and cautioned that when they fail, it can lead to a disaster. I also expressed my concerns about my water softener, which was consuming huge amounts of salt. Micah explained that a well-functioning softener should only use a moderate amount of salt and if I was refilling it every 45 days, there was definitely a problem. Cutting to the chase, Micah made suggestions for new equipment based on my request to provide a quote for what hed use in his own home. I reached out to them on a Friday and by Tuesday, the new water heater and softener were installed. The technician, Ruben, did an exceptional job. He was tidy, and he even re-routed some of the haphazardly placed plumbing lines from the original construction. The new setup looks custom-made. I couldnt be happier with the results. This was to expedite the process and provide him with necessary data to fast track the project! In no time, my old Water Heater was taken out and a new one put in place, all within roughly 2 hours! Justin went further to explain a few preventive maintenance procedures to carry out from time to time and suggested installing a Water Sensor at the bottom of the pan, that would alert us of any leaks! There were no unexpected additional charges, no nonsense, and no cancellations even in the face of an early morning snowstorm! I have been relying on Jeffery for MANY years and let me assure you, he is TRUSTWORTHY. His work is phenomenal and unlike what some others might say, he doesnt overcharge. Id be devastated if he ever decides to hang up his tools because once you find a plumber you can trust, you want them with you forever. Jeffery and his team are fantastic and have a great sense of humor, they dive straight into their work. When we required emergency plumbing repairs at my fathers house, which was in a terrible state, Jeffery showed up, did his job in a basement that I wouldnt dare enter and accomplished the task. Over the years at our residence, he has assisted in installing a new shower with a drain, line and other various plumbing tasks, all completed in record time. The most recent service was just this past week when the line to our garden hose developed a significant leak. Jeffery was outstanding and managed to install a new line swiftly. To sum up, these plumbers are simply fantastic. To cut a long story short, they provide swift estimates, high-quality work, and incredible efficiency. On the first day of a comprehensive repipe job, including the main, the water was restored to the entire house by 6pm. This was beyond impressive. We were situated in a place where plumbers and other tradespeople were swamped with work, to the point where we were receiving estimates to commence the task three weeks later. This was due to a significant leak into our 1960s three-story craftsmans foundation, which made a complete repipe of the original galvanized piping necessary. A day after reaching out, Duane arrived and formulated a plan to replace everything with PEX, including the heavily corroded main water line. Their quote was very competitive even before applying the military discount and a special deal they had going on. A few days later, Jeffery and his team showed up and managed to replace the entire houses plumbing with fully insulated PEX by 6pm. They even replaced the main line on day one, including digging 30 feet down through my concrete driveway. They added a few extra outdoor hose bibs and a spot for a future kitchenette and fridge ice maker line, which were last-minute additions. The entire piping was insulated with half-inch insulation, so im not concerned about pipe bursts anymore. Other than the drywall holes and the cut out driveway sections, you couldnt tell they had been there due to their excellent clean-up job. The repair team did a superb job repairing the drywall on all three floors and matching the various textures after the work passed the county inspection. They left everything primed and ready to paint, per our request. The driveway took a bit longer to finish due to inspection scheduling, but once it passed, they did a great job redoing it and its been sturdy for weeks now, even during the seasons first freezing temperatures. We went from only being able to use one shower at a time to being able to run all faucets and showers at the same time without a pressure drop. If youre considering a repipe or need one, you should definitely call these guys because they are outstanding!

They had an appointment for various repairs around the house, predominantly toilet repairs. craig, justin and ruben arrived punctually and finished the tasks assigned to them. However, we discovered after they left that the main fill valve they replaced in our daughters bathroom was left in the tub. Also, the main toilet doesnt flush properly and is somewhat slanted on the floor. The sink in the master bedroom drains rather slowly after they installed a new pop up. Nevertheless, Im hopeful that this feedback, coupled with a call to them, will rectify the problems were encountering in Boerne.

However, it wasnt as straightforward as we had anticipated. Even after installing a new cartridge in our Moen shower, it wouldnt turn off and just kept running. We had to resort to switching off the water supply for the entire house and muddled through the rest of the weekend. As luck would have it, such issues always seem to arise late in the evening over the weekend. When Monday rolled around, we decided to reach out to a reputable plumbing service. We spoke with Paul who was incredibly helpful. Micah, a professional plumber, arrived within the hour. Micah was able to rectify the problem in no time. Not only did he manage to fix the shower, but we also noticed a significant improvement in water pressure. To top it off, we were able to enjoy a warm shower for the first time in days. It was the best shower experience weve had, all thanks to their fantastic service. We cant recommend them highly enough.

I got in touch with Matthews Brothers Plumbing and had a chat with Duane regarding our malfunctioning water heater. Duane was amiable and promised to look into a propane heater option and get back to me with a price estimate. True to his word, he returned my call quickly with a quote and assured me they could come first thing the following morning. Around 8, I got a call from Craig saying they were en route. Craig and his team were extremely professional. The heater was situated in the basement, which required them to access through the back, where it was a bit muddy. They thoughtfully laid down drop cloths to protect the carpet. By the time they wrapped up the job, it was as if no one had been there. Everything was tidied up and the obsolete heater was taken away. I would highly suggest considering Matthews Brothers Plumbing for your needs. Very pleased customer!!
