Because of their 24/7 response to repair issues we had a diagnosis, a very fair estimate, and a new furnace all in less than a week. And we couldn’t have been happier with the installation crew. Gage, Jordan and Gavin were polite, respectful of our home, knowledgeable, and everything was installed with a great regard for detail. They patiently answered every question, and then thoroughly cleaned up when finished. And … everything was completed just two days before our family showed up for Christmas. Again … we couldn’t be happier!

We had a full hvac Trane system installed September 13th 2024. Install looks amazing, removed the old system, paid attention to cosmetics and functionality for a great looking system, a great functioning system, followed up and addressed our one concern with a remote sensor. Followed up with another visit to insure our satisfaction. Highly recommend this company for any hvac and plumbing needs. You wont be disappointed.

Cool air was coming out of my ducts when I turned the heat on. So I called William Masters and their nice receptionist told me that a specialist was in the office right now and she would send him over!!! Within a few minutes Tory arrived & did my Fall furnace inspection!!! He found out my igniter cord had come loose so he plugged it back in!!! That took care of my problem & he finished the rest of my inspection!!! He was so kind & efficient!!! Now my furnace is all ready for the cold weather!!! This is my first new AC/furnace ever and I couldn’t be happier. The team of Tanner, Jordan and Gage were amazingly professional, informed about their product, and (hold on to your hat), refreshingly polite. Trane products speak for themselves, but where WM Masters shines brightly is in the training of their service persons. The gas and condensate piping were perfect, the condensing unit was square on the pad and the walk through was thorough. My house was cleaner when the team left, then when they arrived, including picking up a piece of garbage I didn’t think was theirs! Kudos across the board. I do look forward to putting my Trane unit through its paces, but with the wonderfully mild temps, I can’t run it in either heating or cooling currently, but soon. Thank you WM Masters.

When I first knew my AC wasnt working, Wm. Masters came out asap to diagnosis the problem and also sent someone to give me a free estimate for a new unit. I got 4 proposals for new units with varying prices the same evening. Wm. Masters also told me about possible rebates and tax incentives. They were able to install a new AC and furnace only two days later which was such a relief during the summer heat. The installers Gage and Zac were punctual, polite, informative, and efficient. When they were done, they totally tidied all work areas and showed me everything I needed to know to run the new system. Gage and Zac were both professional and friendly. I couldnt be more pleased with the whole experience.

We requested a project to install new furnace, A/C, humidified, and supporting duct work.An appointment with Shawn was promptly scheduled to assess the space and provide options. Communication was transparent and sincerely honest (available discounts, appropriate units for size and desired results in home, etc.). Once the scope and service was agreed to, we set an installation date.At install time, Buster and Gage did an exceptional job removing the old, installing the new, and communicating throughout. It was time to replace our worn out 27 year old furnace. .We called Wm. Masters and within 24 hours Shawn (Project Specialist) came to our home to discuss our needs. He is knowledgeable about the products they offer and showed us a variety of heating levels to choose from. Within days Buster & Tanner (Installers) arrived with our new furnace put. They put runners down in our hall and stairway to keep the floors clean while they worked. Five hours later the new furnace was up and running and now our home heating environment is much more comfortable. We highly recommend Wm. Masters for HVAC services and will call them again for other needs as they arise.

WM Masters is so prompt and professional. Shawn responded quickly when our heater broke down in December and was able to get us a new one within a few days. Their prices are very honest and reasonable, so we decided to get our whole HVAC system replaced. Tanner and his crew came and did a great job taking out our old system (laying runners so the floors wouldnt get ruined) and installing the new one which only took half a day. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend!

Ted and Tyler just diagnosed and fixed my sump pump’s discharge pipe that had broken right outside my house and caused chaos. Wm Masters installed a new Trane A/C and furnace today and I couldnt be happier with the service that I received starting with the receptionist, salesman, project scheduler, all the way to the installers. Karen was very courteous on the phone and answered every question we had. Salesman Shawn wasnt pushy and he was very knowledgeable about both the ACs and the furnaces. He gave us 3 options ranging in cost and features and didnt try to up-sell us in any way. He laid it out with information about incentives from the energy companies, brand deals, and tax rebates. (Prices were less than I expected and we qualified for 4 years, no interest...which made me very happy). The next day, the project manager/scheduler Barry scheduled our job. Also very nice. And then on the day of install, we had installers Zach and Gage. They were clean, courteous, and knew what they were doing. The install we received was absolutely top notch. Very, very clean install and I was given a nice walkthrough when they were finished. They showed me all of the controls I needed to know, and even put a magnetized shelf on the furnace with all of the reading material and manuals. After we were done with the walkthrough, they also showed me how to use, setup, and connect my new thermostat. I cannot recommend these guys more. I will be telling everyone that asks that Wm Masters is the Heating and Cooling place to go. Do NOT hesitate to give them your business.

The last 3 years, we had to add Freon on my AC to get through the summer. The cost was high and kept increasing because the Freon we needed is no longer available. So, we decided to change the entire unit since the HVAC unit was 24-year-old and needed to be replaced anyway. I called Shawn and scheduled a day for free quote estimation. He came a few minutes earlier, looked at the unit inside and outside and gave us 3 different quotes that would best fit our needs.We knew the HVAC replacement is very expensive, but Shawn made the process very smooth and gave us an unbeatable price compared to the others. Zach and Gage were awesome! Very friendly, they came and replaced the unit. They were professional, very neat, and quick.Thank you ALL!!! Highly recommended!

Woke up and house temperature was about 8 degrees higher that what it should be. So I went to website to see when I could call for non emergency service call. Website took me to a message page which was very easy to fill out. Within minutes I received a call to schedule. I was now an hour away at work but was told they could use garage code, check, then fix central air if would like. About two hours later may air was fixed and way cheaper then I had feared. GREAT SERVICE!!!!!

Memorial Day weekend my outdoor faucet went out and wouldnt shut off. What a bad weekend for this to happen! I called William Masters plumbing since I had used them many years ago for a new sump pump. Luke showed up in an hour on Sat. of that weekend- and said I can fix it but since it is on a hose and not leaking into the basement ceiling he said lets hold till Tuesday if I wanted to. I recently had a new A/C and furnace installed by Wm Masters. The professionalism definately showed up when Tanner and Gage did my installation. They both had my systems up and running in less than 5 hours. I read some of the posts that others had been saying and its definately true. These guys most definately knew what they were doing, all while being totally clean by putting down a runner so as not to scuff my hardwood floor and keeping dust and etc. to a minimum. We were talking to each other a lot but that didnt seem to slow them down. Both Tanner and Gage were extremely polite and respectful of the interior of my home. Where have all the technicians like these two gone? When they left I couldnt even tell that they had been working in my home. Sad to say that when they left, my home was probably cleaner than when they arrived. I would like to recomment Wm Master, Inc Tanner and Gage for any heating/cooling installation you may ever need. I have always had Wm Masters do all my hvac, in house water filtration system and a new water heater installation. Our HVAC system was over 25 years old and on its last leg. We were experiencing problems with the heat not keeping up. This was our first experience with Wm Masters. The repairman Gary responded quickly and diagnosed the problem. Gary was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Later we met Shawn who gave us all the ins and outs of all options, features, costs, and he provided us with options/quotes to consider. Shawn was fast and efficient - he wasnt pushy and he answered all of our questions. Working with Shawn on getting the contract etc was so easy and fast all in one day! Then our install was scheduled for only one week later! Gage and Tanner arrived on time for the install. They definitely knew what they were doing and worked quickly and efficiently. Zach explained the new system and installed the new thermostat. All 3 men were polite, professional and thorough. I highly recommend Wm Masters for any install or repair. They all far exceeded my expectations. The entire removal and install of H/V/AC was done in less than a day!

I cannot praise William Masters enough. They installed a Trane furnace for me in 2005, and this early Tuesday morning, during fridge temperatures, it decided to quit. I called the William Masters Service Department at 7:30 am, and by 8:00 am, Jake, the very capable technician, arrived to diagnose the problem, an unrepairable cracked heat exchange. Within minutes, he was able to contact Shawn, my usual service person who was in California at the time, and Shawn was able to walk me through the purchase of an updated version of my old Trane. I was amazed that Sean remembered my furnace set up and saved me from buying unneeded parts. William Masters applied my Nicor rebate to the price. By 8:00 am the next morning, my new furnace was being installed by trusty technicians Buster and Bert, and I now have heat and a new WIFI thermostat - all in a little over 24 hours after my first call. Ive always bought the William Masters Service Agreement, and its very worth it. Thanks to Shawn and the whole crew, even the wonderful woman who answered my call for assistance.

Im very impressed with Wm Masters service. After dealing with another local establishment and getting a not great experience, we called Wm Masters and they came and fixed the other places mess. They recommended and replaced a toilet which is now working as it should. We have a unique set of specifications for a water heater which they researched and installed. This device is also working fantastically. We had a very specific list of needs for the equipment and how/when the equipment was installed and Wm Masters performed these without error. I don’t recall names of the first group of installers from 2021, but similarly, Buster, Gage and Zac provided fast and courteous work in very cold temps! Even with our sales process from Shawn- there was no pressure and good information for us to make a quick decision. We have used WM Masters since at least 2012 or earlier for annual maintenance and it is worth it!

We have been using Wm. Masters since we purchased the new built house 27 years ago. They have provided maintenance service for both the air conditioning and heating twice a year since that time. We knew the typical life span is 20 years. Last Friday at 4:00 the air conditioning stopped working. By 4:30 someone had come out to attempt repairs. It worked for a few days sporadically. After contacting the company, Shawn came to our house and had estimates for us by Monday. By Tuesday we had selected both air conditioner and furnace. Thursday morning a crew of Jonathan, Buster, and Gage arrived to install both and were finished by 1:30. Due to an illness in our house, we had requested that everyone should be masked that entered our house. Each person was so careful and accommodating to this request. We will continue to use Wm. Masters for additional services as needed and would recommend this business and their staff to anyone.

We are very pleased with the overall experience from Wm Masters, from the initial service tech who diagnosed the issue with our old system, to the estimate on a new system from Shawn, and finally the install of the new system by Jonathan. Jonathan did a great job removing our old outdoor unit and replacing it with a new unit. We were impressed with the quality and efficiency of his work and the overall outcome. We had other service going on at the house at the same time and he easily managed around the other workers that were on our property.

Called to have someone come and fix 2 leaky tub faucets and install our kitchen faucet/garbage disposal. I was notified they were running behind, but the ended up not arriving until an hour and a half later. When they arrived they did a thorough inspection & informed me of issues I was unaware of. I appreciated the information but it meant they were unable to install a disposal or make one of my showers functionable. During the service, the two technicians were not the most kind and said things that made me feel incompetent/bad for things out of my control.The employee I spoke with on the phone did not discuss anything about charge, including that the customer is charged for travel time. This added a total of an hour and a half for the two technicians that worked on my home. Meaning I was charged almost 1K for two men to spend 2 hours at my home fixing a leak, cutting the water to one tub, and installing a kitchen faucet.Although I am generally pleased with their work and they did as I asked, the prices are a bit high, and communication overall could use some work.EDIT: The following morning the pin came out of my master shower diverter making both showers unusable. I called WM and spoke to the plumbing manager Mike. He apologized for the situation & brought two different technicians out that day and resolved the issue free of charge and did more than they needed to. All three of them were very kind and wanted to make up for the previous experience and did a great job. I am raising my rating from 3 stars to 4 for customer service, but the initial service is still unacceptable.

08/12/20: Chris and Josh did an outstanding job. They installed canned lights and multiple outlets in the basement. They noted that the LED lights can be dimmed and asked me if I want a dimmer switch installed. Not part of my original request, they installed an additional outlet in my living room and successfully trouble shot a problem I was having with under cabinet lighting. They then ran wire from the basement to the garage and added multiple outlets for my shop and installed two ceiling fans. Everything looks great. Chris and Josh were pleasant to talk to and they frequently verified with me the next part of the job before proceeding. This is the second time I have used Wm. Masters and I recommend them to anyone.May 2020: We asked three different companies for recommendations and bids for a failed sump pump. Wm. Masters was the only one to not only give me a realistic recommendation but they already had a bid prepared on their first visit. They answered my questions before I even asked them. They proposed a backup up sump and WIFI alarm system that met every whim I was looking for. Both Plumbers were were pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Right before the bitter cold weather hit last month, my 30 yr old furnace finally gave way on a Monday night. I called Wm Masters, since they had been servicing my units previously, and they came out that night to let me know the status of my furnace - DOA. After getting 2 other quotes and a LOT of education from all of them, Shawn was able to give me an excellent price on both new units. He even treated me like a valued customer and worked to get me on the installation schedule for that Thursday, since Id already been a couple of days w/o heat. His installation crew did a fantastic job of teardown of the old and installation of the new units. Since they already had the furnace on-site, they were able to get that done that Thursday. The A/C unit came in Friday, and they came out that same day to install it. I was able to get a service call on Monday, ordered on a Wednesday night and by Friday I had the new units installed and working beautifully. Im extremely happy w/ my experience!

The Wm. Masters installation team (Jonathan, Aaron and Zac) did a good job on the installation of our new HVAC system. They were very professional and friendly. When the job was completed, they took the time to explain the features on the new furnace and how to use the wi-fi thermostat. The installation was done in a timely fashion by later in the afternoon.. When the old furnace stopped working, we called for a service appointment. The technician arrived early the following morning and told us the vent motor was bad. Since it was going to be an expensive repair, we decided to have the new HVAC system installed. We met with your salesman later that day and he set us up with the new system that would get our heat back on during the coldest day of the year. The work for the new installation was done the following morning. From the initial contact with the service technician on Thursday morning to the completion on Friday afternoon, everything was done well by all of your employees involved with this project. We also were pleased with the installation of our new Generac home standby generator this past August. The installation team for that project was also very professional and took the time to explain the features of the system and the setup on the internet. Once again, a good job was done all employees involved with the generator project.

Our boiler died late on a Friday night, and Wm. Masters late-shift support were friendly, gave us some good information, and after calling back Monday morning, we got a replacement scheduled for the next morning.Our plumber was Mark, and right out the gate he made a great impression. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and got to work immediately. Mark was outstanding. When the warranty authorization was taking too long to get back to us, he followed up with the vendor a good dozen times. When they couldnt produce, the folks at the main office moved it forward on their own. He got the boiler swapped out amazingly fast, and left no trace behind beyond shining new hardware. Moreover, Mark noted the astonishing state that our exhaust ductwork was in, and how unsafe it was (massive gaps in two places where exhaust had been leaking into our basement). He was able to work with the main office to get an HVAC tech out and had it replaced in short order.Absolutely outstanding, far and above what Ive ever experienced with any other company, let alone any other plumber.If you have -anything- that needs doing that involves plumbing, call Wm. Mike and Phil first came at the end of October to remove old cast iron and galvanized pipes in our house because of clogging and leaking (in the upstairs bathroom.) They installed new copper and PVC pipes to replace the old. It was a huge job and required a lot of creativity to make it all work in the space they had.We are so impressed with Mike and Phil and how hard they worked to make our plumbing work. They even took out and capped old pipes in the basement just to make the basement look less cluttered with pipes. Each day they were conscious of making sure the areas they were working in were cleaned up. They are friendly and polite and we enjoyed working with them.After a few months of remodeling, Mike and his assistant were back today to install and connect the toilet, sink and shower to the plumbing. Again, they were polite and friendly.We are looking forward to getting the final touches finished in the next few days so we can reclaim our bathroom and take a shower!

I called for an estimate, they called back right away to arrange a time and came out within a couple of days. Once I called them back with my selection, they came out to sign papers and that same day a project manager called to arrange an installation date that was within one week. The two gentlemen that came out to install were here at the time they said they would be and finished early. They cleaned up after they were done and you couldn’t tell they had been here. Once the order was placed they called with daily updates on when the shipping company said they would receive it. They ended up having big issues with the shipping company (not their fault) but kept me updated every day and after 4 or 5 days of not receiving the furnace they offered to install a slightly larger furnace they had in stock at no extra cost from the original quote. Unfortunately, the AC was not working even with the electrical fixed, but William Masters had an HVAC technician in town that was able to get it up and running in just a couple of hours. I really appreciate the communication and professionalism of both technicians and will definitely call William Masters in the future for service.

We have relied on Wm. Masters for several years. Their Service Techs have always been courteous, prompt, professional, and neat. This week Mike and Ryan replaced a kitchen faucet, new hot and cold shut off valves, and two shower heads. They did an excellent job. We have never had a complaint with any service we received and would willingly recommend Wm. Masters.

Brad did an excellent job, from his replacement of the water heater to covering my carpet with plastic to fixing the jets in my tub. Thank you!!If I could, I would give this company ten stars! My experience started last week when my water heaters pilot light went out and I had no hot water. Even though it was late Friday night, Brenda came and reset the pilot. She was wonderful. Because my water heater is 13 years old, I had decided to replace it for fear of a leak that could destroy things in my home. I made the appointment. Today, Mark came to install the new heater and told me to wait and save the money. That the heater I have isnt leaking yet and that it might very well last many more years. He told me to just monitor it and call if something needed done, that its near a drain. And no charge! Oh, he also adjusted my shower head in the upstairs bathroom and looked at the problematic jets in my tub. It is rare to have someone SO honest...He could have made a lot of money on me, but he didnt charge me anything. Im so grateful for this company, their honesty, and I highly recommend them and trust them! Thank you so much, Mark!!

We had a need for an electrician on short notice at our home on a Friday late afternoon. I contacted William Masters and the person scheduling appointments was very sensitive to my situation and spent time trying to locate one of their electricians who could come on short notice. She was successful and notified me that the electrician, Josh Scaggs, would be at my home within the hour. I found Josh knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Even though it was a late Friday afternoon he took the time to explain to me what he needed to do and why. As we are selling our older home he also took the time to explain to me important information about our homes wiring (what was newer wiring and what was original to the home). This was our first experience with an electrician from William Masters but we had the same quality service with Josh as we have come to expect from their heating/cooling technicians, particularly Gary, over the past several years. I would strongly recommend Willam Masters for your heating, cooling, and electrical needs.

Brad has serviced our HVAC system for years. He’s always on time, conscientious, and thorough with great customer service. On Christmas Eve the old furnace had developed a cracked heat exchanger. Daron quickly gave us an estimate for a new furnace and had it installed before the end of day. The installers were very professional and got it installed in no time! We had discovered a gas leak on the outside of our home and had to have the gas turned off until repairs were made. I contacted Wm Masters first thing the next morning and a technician was there by early afternoon. He assessed the problem and we discussed options. Once we agreed on a course of action and the repairs were made quickly and correctly. Less than 24 hours after discovering the gas leak the repairs were made and the gas was turned back on. Outstanding job! Shout out to Karen in the office as well as Phil and Mark in the field. Top notch service all the way!

Ive used Wm. Masters for many years, and Ive always been pleased with them. Brenda is our HVAC expert and she keeps our furnace and AC working well. Shes very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Its nice to see her twice a year for our HVAC tune-ups, and if we need something between checkups I can always count on Brenda and Wm. Masters. Gary has also been out to work on our AC a time or two and hes a great guy to work with too.Brad is a plumber at Wm. Masters. He has done a lot of jobs for me and Ive always been pleased. Im wrapping up a pretty significant kitchen and garage remodel project. Brad did a great job re-routing gas lines, water and sewer lines, etc.Chris, the electrician did a lot of the electrical work on my recent project. He is great at what he does and he doesnt mess around. Ive been very pleased, and sometimes amazed, with Chriss work. I know a little about a lot of different trades. Some tasks I was a little concerned about were no problem for Chris.There are many others that have done a great job over the years. I dont recall all of their names, but Ill try: electricians Josh and Brandon, plumbing apprentices Josh and Ryan. The ladies that do the scheduling are also nice and helpful (Lindsay?). And I love the text message reminders for appointments.Everyone at Wm. Masters that Ive dealt with has been very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. Also, I get the impression that its a good company to work for. I highly recommend Wm. Masters. You can find cheaper plumbers and electricians, but I feel they are the best in terms of overall value. From my experience they treat their employees and their customers right. Thank you Wm. Masters!

Had to replace a 30yr old furnace and get some plumbing done. Everything got scheduled, financed, and fixed very fast and efficiently. Everyone I talked to was very friendly and helped me understand what was happening and why. Ill definitely call them again if and when I need more repairs.

Nothing but good things to say about Wm Masters and their expertise. I use them at my house for HVAC and plumbing work and I have dealt with them on commercial electrical projects for my work and they always make sure they get the job done. When coming to your house, they always protect the flooring and spend the time to talk with you and explain the situation and the solution. I recently had my HVAC ducts and dryer ducts cleaned out and I really appreciated the gentleman who came and did it. He was very kind and answered all my questions.

My home A/C unit compressor failed on me and I called Wm. Masters and they came out same day to verify what I was fearing. Sales person contacted me the next day to review current setup and to go over about 5 different options from just the minimum to a full system replacement. Once I made a decision, I was contacted immediately about scheduling the installation. Installation techs were very prompt and did a fantastic job on full system replacement. New system is up and functional and looks great. Everything was cleaned up and looks very professional. Highly recommend Wm. Masters as the entire organization appears to be very professional and well run.
