They have a young staff with a strong understanding of climate issues and the need to shift from burning fuel to make heat to extracting heat from the outside air. The process was seamless--great communication, clear estimates, and excellent work. Our project took longer than expected due to staffing issues, but GreenSavers very clearly communicated this beforehand so there were no surprises. Highly recommend!

Megan Cummings, consultant, was our initial contact for a mini-split heat pump. She was very thorough, professional and explained how the system would work. In comparison to other companies, GreenSavers (Megan) was the only company who offered the Within Reach Incentive, interest-free financing and told us how to apply for a federal tax credit. In addition, the GreenSavers installers, Luke & Chris, and the contract electrician, Wynter at kerelectric, were awesome; very professional, polite and informative. And they they cleaned up when finished! A great experience with GreenSavers and we love our new heat pump!

After doing the initial audit, which was very educational and fun, we received GreenSavers customized recommended scope of home improvements. After that, we obtained a comparative bid from another reputable contractor in the area, to do the same work. WE were a bit surprised and trhilled to find that GreenSavers estimate to be equal if not slightly lower than the other bid. So it was a no-brainer to contract with GreenSavers given the added bonus of their sustainability mission, relationship with the Energy Trust of Oregon, and their special attention to detail and best-practices. We trust GreenSavers immensely, and were grateful for their high-quality and affordable help in making our home comfortable and energy-efficient.

The HVAC installation went well after they brought out the correct outdoor unit. The window installation went well. We called them back after installation for some casements that didnt open well and the lead tech was here the next day. He fixed those windows and checked all the others. You can always get someone on the phone and they are helpful and courteous. The crew were careful, honest, wore masks in the house, and were very helpful.

I hired GreenSavers to replace a broken second-story window. These guys were very professional and did very quality work. Once I handed over the deposit check, they took complete control of the project, and went above and beyond to see it through to completion.They replaced all the trim around the window too, and came out on a Saturday to get the window installed on the week that they said they would. They even used extra paint from the touch up to patch some paint damage I had elsewhere on the house.Highly recommended!

Megan was first to help me and explained what I needed to do for insulation in my crawlspace as well as a new water heater and what would be best throughly, Taylor was project manager and she was easy to reach and always tried her best and Sergio did our insulation. Sergio was absolutely amazing and actually informed us about a leak in a crawlspace we wouldnt have known about if it wasnt for him. The plumber who came to fix the leak commented on the insulation Sergio did multiple times and how fantastic it was. I would certainly give them five stars if it wasnt for some miscommunication we had with our water heater scheduling and arrival, but I would certainly recommend them and use them again. The team at Greensavers really came through for me on a nuanced and complicated multi zone heat pump system. From the leg work of Megan who helped me with the design of the system to Josh the installer who was easy to work with and considerate of my ocd nature of the install being top notch. Initially I felt the quote for the system was high and I did price it around with 6-8 other central Oregon HVAC companies. None of them came anywhere close to the quote I received from Greensavers. And with the synchrony financing they offered going with Greensavers was a no brainer and I am definitely satisfied that I chose Greensavers. I strongly recommend Greensavers if you are looking at a Mitsubishi multi zone heat pump system. Don’t bother looking elsewhere, I did and all the other HVC players in central Oregon are just that, players who come off like car salesmen with laughable quotes (you know who you are). Simplify your life, don’t be a dumb dumb, go with Greensavers.

A couple months ago GreenSavers installed a Rheem heat pump hot heater for us. They provided great consultation on selection, fast and excellent installation and a very fair price. We love that we not only have lots of hot water, but we have also reduced our electricity usage. We would definitely turn to them again for future needs.

When we called Green Savers they responded quickly and were at our house in 2 days. Our attic , with no insulation, was filled to R 49 the next day. They also vented the attic and the shower fan so we would not have black mold on the soffit outside near the bathroom vent. Everything is working perfectly now and were so happy we finally took this step. We can tell already that our house is going to be much warmer this winter and we are going to use less pellets in our stove.

I enjoyed working with the whole crew at Greensavers starting with Megan who did the initial energy audit. Then came Josh and Chris who installed the tankless water heater. Next was Abel and Sergio who sealed the air leaks, installed eve and roof vents, and installed additional insulation in the crawlspace and attic. Last but not least is Taylor who did the project management and the post project blower test. Every one involved listened to my concerns and wanted to make sure I was a happy customer.Many deficiencies were found and corrected. There were three areas of my attic that had very little insulation and those areas corresponded to where I had icing problems on my roof during winter conditions. There were two bathroom fans that just vented into the attic space adding to the attic heating problem. Those fans were connected to new roof vents. The cause for many winter cold spots indoors was inadequate sealing around pipes and lighting fixtures. Inadequate ventilation of my attic was also addressed. The return air and heating ducts in the attic were lowered so they could be covered with insulation. The post project blower test showed significant improvement in the sealing of the house compared to the pre-project test.I am confident my house will be better able to withstand cold temperatures without icing problems on the roof during heavy snow events and use less energy. I highly recommend GreenSavers.
