    Furnace repair in South Bend Indiana, great troubleshooting and repair! One note, however - I was charged overtime because his schedule was full and he arrived in the evening twice (I didnt schedule evening service, and wasnt told that a late arrival would impact my bill). Ask about regular and overtime hours when scheduling your service. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend.

    For years, I lived in a house with differing temperatures between the first and second floor. Numerous technicians came out and none of them provided a solution. At last came Jeff at I&M who pointed out the solution and within 10 days had a new furnace and return vent on the second floor to resolve the issue. His expertise and knowledge by far exceeds the others.

    I have used I&M for several of my issues! 1) They have replaced a water heater, 2) repaired my ac (after another contractor told me it had to be replaced and was going to cost me $8k-$10k) 3) replaced an ancient furnace in a small home that we purchased at a reasonable price. They also work with my home warranty group who is amazing as well!! I&M will forever be at the top of my contact list!!

    Had previous positive experience with this company, so called on a weekday morning w/a plumbing emergency. Owner was calming & walked me through temporary steps, saying he would fit me in next day. As good as his word, he was there the next day (he called, too, to let me know he was on the way) & was able to fix the issue quickly as he had deduced the needed parts from our phone conversation. He explained the problem & his procedure to repair, & made sure the issue was resolved prior to leaving. He was respectful of my space (not leaving any mess), personable & professional.     Jeff has been out to service our air conditioning twice, last year and again this year. He responded quickly to our call over a hot weekend. He worked with our home warranty company to get a complete replacement. Our home warranty is always wanting to apply bandaids vs replacement. Jeff worked his magic and was able to get a full replacement, which was also an upgrade. Looking forward to a very cool summer with lower electric bills, all thanks to I&M Heating and AC.     When my AC went out in June, they quickly determined the cause and unfortunately for me, the entire unit had to be replaced. Once the parts arrived, my appointment was quickly scheduled and the whole replacement was finished by noon. Thanks to Jeff and his team for getting us back up and running.

    Jeff was called for an emergency refrigerator repair. He was prompt and professional.A part, an evaporator fan motor, was needed to complete the repair. Jeff ordered the unit and returned after it was received, to complete the replacement.The refrigerator now works as required. The price was reasonable. He also gave us excellent advise for any future major appliance purchase.

    Needed a water heater and I had used I&M before to replace another water heater. Overall I am very pleased with the job and enjoyed being able to carry on some small talk while the job was being done. I was told before the job was started that some water may spill out and the dolly may leave some marks on the carpet when the old heater had to be taken out. The owner went out of his way to ensure I understood what I needed to know about the heater and the area was cleaned up nicely after the job was done. One minor thing was that the appointment was set for 11am and a little after 1pm I received a call saying he was on his way. I realize he was busy with another job but I could have done some things during that time while I waited. By the way Tom Cone is writing this review.

    Our central air went out and we thought we had a freeon leak. So we called our home warranty and they sent out I&M. Jeff came last week Friday, inspected the unit and advised us there was no leak but to change our air filters. We did and it worked again. The next day it went out again. We called him back and he wasnt able to come back out until Thursday. (Understandable being summer- in high demand). He replaced the entire motor and even maintenanced a rusted open air vent in our basement. The unit was again in working order. A few hours later, it wasnt working AGAIN- so we called him, expecting voicemail as it was getting later in the evening. He returned the call almost immediately, returned within the hour, was about to change our thermostat when he found that my husband had unplugged a condensor box when they were cleaning out the unit with a vacuum. Great service. Very nice working with Jeff and getting such quick responses from him.
