Well deserved 5 stars. There’s a reason this company has such good reviews. Loren and Justin were on time, worked efficiently, checked with us when they turned the power off to parts of the house (my husband and I both work from home) and then showed their work before leaving. We had 4 ceiling fans installed, 2 new gfci outlets put in and a switch replaced. They actually forgot to do the switch replace initially, but because they walked the job with us before leaving, caught it before leaving and did it quick!! I think one of the best parts about this company is that they quote up front. I knew exactly what this was going to cost and had time to allocate funds to the project. I have no idea what other companies charge, but I won’t be looking for anyone different the next time I need an electrician. Thank y’all!!

I found these guys on Thumbtack but called them directly. The office answered my call within a couple of rings. Estimate visit was scheduled within a couple of days. They had a cancellation so came a day early and showed up right on time. Estimate was fair and they were able to do the work (adding an electrical outlet to the other side of a wall in a closet) within the hour. Tidy work and cleaned up after themselves. Very pleasant humans.

Incredibly positive experience from when Efren came to bid until the guys cleaned up after the job. They were on time, did exactly what they said they were going to do, thought outside the box to minimize damage to the rest of the house and additional patching, were respectful, courteous, and carried some of the highest skill I’ve seen when it comes to a professional trade. I would 100% recommend them and hire them again!

Electrician showed up timely and fixed what turned out to be a more complicated problem. Original wiring by the builder was incorrect and new wiring had to be pulled. Justin came out this past week to install a new light fixture, replace some dimmer switches, and help run some CAT5 cabling from downstairs to upstairs.Running the cable entailed crawling under the house and working with me for 30 minutes trying to snake this wire down two stories into the crawl space below. Even though it was muddy, dark, and cramped - he persisted and eventually got it done! These guys will go above and beyond.Prior to Justin coming by, we had Efren do a ton of work and he was also extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.Plus our dog who is scared of most people was following him around like he was his best friend. Cant recommend Terrapin enough.

Another contractor pulled 220 wiring for a stove but didn’t actually CONNECT it. Installers had come back and pull a refrigerator, freezer and wine cooler so Garrett could correct the problem. He’s knowledgeable, efficient and reasonable. He met with the installers and made it happen, along with resolving other electrical issues. I would recommend him to anyone needing an electrician.

Terrapin Electric installed recessed lighting in my family room and replaced lighting fixtures. Adding the recessed lighting was complicated since all the wiring and fixtures were added within the existing ceiling. They worked with me from selection of the fixtures, spacing the fixtures on the ceiling and setting the brightness of the light. The lights have added so much to the room. The Terrapin was professional and easy to work with. Best of all, the prices are fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Terrapin and will definitely use this company as my go to electrical company.

Professional service at its finest. I could not have had a better experience with Jacob R. and Israel from Terrapin (and Josue R. for the initial estimate). They were responsive from the beginning (setting up a time for a free estimate initially, scheduling the work timely and when it fit my familys schedule, and working through any difficulties my home threw at them). They listened to our questions and addressed everything that we needed, and even put up with some lame dad jokes in the process. For reference, they installed two outdoor sconces in stone, diagnosed and fixed a faulty doorbell/chime as well as GFCI outlet issues in the kitchen, added multiple electrical outlets in hard-to-reach locations, as well as a handful of ethernet drops.Any time I have any need for an electrician in the future, Ill look to them first. Justin came and changed out a GFCI at my rental property today, Nov 7, 2023. He was very professional and explained the problem and solution. I really appreciate someone who is reliable, responsible and has good customer service and business ethics. This is my 2nd time using Terrapin and both experiences, with 2 different techs, were exceptional! Justin had just left and my tenant said she forgot to tell him about some loose wires. Out of kindness and safety concerns Justin came back and resolved the problem. My tenant and I are very thankful for his time and concern and highly recommend Justin!!!My first experience with Terrapin.: Josue was amazing. I had a tricky problem with certain lights not working in my kitchen. Another electrician completely misdiagnosed the problem, replaced some breakers (the wrong ones) and charged me for not fixing the problem. He then said Id need to replace my whole fuse box. Josue trouble shooted and fixed the problem in a very short time and the issue was minor and the cost to fix it reasonable. I did not need a new fuse box. I went with this company, as I previously called them for an issue that ended up being super easy to resolve. Since it was so easy, they didnt charge me and included it with their free consultation. That struck me as very honest, and I felt I could trust them with this larger project. I highly recommend and they will be my go-to for my future electrician needs.
