Vincent was fantastic. Very communicative and pleasant. Did a great job on a new outlet install and an interlock switch; very tidy and efficient. Answered all my questions and showed the work as he progressed. Even accommodated an installation change to use my car charger plug as a battery backup connection and worked to get some money refunded. No hard sell on the Salt+ I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews. I’ll be calling for my future electrical and plumbing work.

The excellent service started with the specialist who took my call—friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient in setting up my appointment. Jason Sims and Tony went above and beyond when replacing my utility room light. They were incredibly thorough in their work and took the time to explain everything they were doing, and even walked me through a service plan—at no cost to me—to ensure everything was up to code, which was both informative and reassuring. We also shared a few laughs along the way, making the experience even better. I have a couple more projects lined up, and I’ll definitely be requesting them by name. The quality of work was top-notch, and they left everything spotless. Highly recommend SALT for any plumbing, air, or electrical needs! SALT Plumbing Air & A/C have won us over as customers for life. After years of trying to find a quality company to handle all of our needs, we called SALT after receiving a flyer in the mail. We needed help with our A/C units. We were not satisfied with our current A/C provider, so we threw caution to the wind and called SALT. Since that first call, we have used SALT multiple times! Their office staff is always polite, uplifting and helpful. We have used both their A/C service and plumbing service. Every single employee of SALT that has been at our house has been on-time, polite, professional and very thorough. We cannot say enough great things about SALT. If you want excellent results…CALL SALT!

I just wish our homeowner insurance would let us request SALT to do the repairs on any claims we might have. For certain if is an issue not covered by our insurance SALT and Pete will get the call. An incredible blessing to have a business to call on that still values integrity.

The technician Mike C. was awesome! feels like having a close friend doing some work for you. Asked if i wanted/needed anything before showing up since he needed to make a fuel stop . When I had a crackling light switch with pulsing lights, I knew I needed somebody to look at it ASAP. I called all over Austin and SALT was able to get to me most quickly. Jason and Jesse communicated with me about their arrival and what to expect, conducted a full inspection, diagnosed my problem (and other issues I asked about), offered more than one solution at different price points, and fixed everything all in one visit. I was happy with their attention to detail, patience in explaining their findings, and the cost of the solutions. Additionally, they were both EXTREMELY polite, kind, and funny! I felt very comfortable with them in my home. I will definitely call SALT again.

Craig Orozco did an amazing job. They came over to fix an outdoor outlet and quote me on some interior lighting upgrades so I could control and change the colors. The quote they gave was very fair for the amount of labor (had to cut new holes in a 13 ft tall ceiling down a hallway) Craig and his partner then killed it and in a few hours theyd made our house safer, more stylish, and i could use my outdoor outlet again!

I was inspecting the transformer to the doorbell when I uncovered a larger mess. Ive used SALT before at another address so I gave them a call. Will and Julio came out the next business day. They are friendly and professional as expected and took time to educate me and made sure I understood my options and choices. They fixed the root cause and the doorbell as well as pointed out some things I can address in the future. I appreciate having the list without the heavy-handed sales pressure.

Ive had Salt come out 3 times now for various things. First time was electrical work, the team was great. Second time was for a water heater check since I purchased the membership and this time my ac wasnt cooling so Aaron came out. He was very courteous, professional and really helpful. He showed me every detail of what he was doing and explained in a way I could understand. While I feel like its been a bit pricey, I guess its in line with everything else and I understand we all have bills to pay so I appreciate their expertise and knowledge.

Aaron M. Johnson was great. Explained everything in detail for winter HVAC checkup. We had the ducts cleaned, loosing air in the system in the attic-he corrected whatever needed to be done. Different type of filter-electronic one. Cleaned up the system.Aaron Marcus Johnson I give 5 stars.*****The 2 guys cleaning the ducts I would give them 3 stars.The two guys that showed first to clean the ducts were nice, they said that Aaron was not coming and I told them they were wrong. They called him and then Aaron called me and he said he was coming.The 2 guys cleaning the ducts kept forgetting which rooms they did and which ones they didnt. They talked to much and didnt stay on track.

Unless Zak moves to another company I’m never hiring an electric company that is not Salt again.Tony was also great. I just didn’t have as much interaction with him.And the company themselves handled everything really well. Their administrative staff and the procedure process runs smoothly.Only complaints are there’s not a tip option when paying and the mandatory answering phrase about lighting up my day is cute but maybe the customer service folks could come up with a few suggestions so they have other options. I’d be so sick of saying that 30 times a day if I were them.

I received a postcard for $120 hot water heater inspection and flush from Salt. I called to scheduled and was able to get the same day. Dylan Wilson, and a trainee, Christine P. arrived to do the flush on my Tankless hot water heater. They were very polite and answered all my questions about my tankless. Boy, was I surprised when I found out that they were also checking my plumbing inside all for the same price. Of course, it was so they could tell me about their Maintenance plan. It cost a little more than my Previous plan but he had raise his price over 60% and it only included AC and furnace whereas Salt Included electrical, plumbing and AC/furnace maintenance so I did not mind listening. It appears to be a good deal, but I always have to do more checking before I move forward. Thanks, Dylan and Christine!

Fortunately prior solar installation installed a new breaker box. They were able to move all my 220 lines to the new box saving me from having to replace the breaker box.

Ive been dealing with SALT for about two years. My calls are answered promptly and both the plumbers and electricians have always arrived within our scheduled window, or earlier when possible. Their explanations have always been clear and both plumbers and electricians have been friendly and professional. I like SALTs practice of offering three levels of service at different prices and I have never felt pressured to pick the highest or to schedule immediately. I recently had a new water heater installed. There was a problem with the installation and they responded quickly and fixed the issue with no additional charge. Theyve also been considerate about my budgeting concerns (work needing to be done but quarterly taxes due). I highly recommend them.

Michael was very very patient as he tried to determine why our a/c had all of the sudden stopped working. He took the time to understand why the system stopped working, more than likely because of a power failure and trip to the house and a/c system, and upon learning why he suspected the problem occurred, reset the a/c system, ensure it functioned correctly and like before (running the diagnostics and initialization procedures), and ensure the compressor also worked as it should given the probable power surge the night before. He also took the time to explain all of this to me. I always enjoy working with SALT technicians, whether plumbing, electrical, or HVAC, because I feel like they take their time to do the work, correctly. I highly recommend SALT.

Anthony Salazar and his apprentice did an excellent job addressing our electrical needs. The ballasts in our two 42-year-old fluorescent light fixtures that are recessed in our kitchen ceiling were causing the lights to flicker and light up slowly, or sometimes not at all, when turned on. Mr. Salazar recommended replacing our outdated fixtures with maintenance-free brighter LED wrap lights. The old fixtures were removed and the new ones installed quickly and professionally! The difference between the old and new fixtures is like night and day!!! ...absolutely amazing!!! My husband and I are very pleased with Mr. Salazars recommendation, his expertise, and his professionalism. He and his apprentice were extremely courteous and personable, and their customer service was excellent! Jason and Yolanda came out to help install a new ceiling fan in our primary bedroom that stopped working suddenly. They were kind, thorough and efficient. During installation, they found some errors that a previous electrician made and fixed them. We now feel safer knowing those issues were addressed.It was our first time using Salt and we are very happy with the results. We also appreciated that the total cost was discussed up front prior to starting work. Thank you Jason and Yolanda!

We had such a fantastic experience with SALT! We’ve not even purchased anything from them except for a diagnostic appt on our hvac. But just our initial interaction with them during their evaluation has us sold on the company. They’re professional, but personal, and incredibly easy to talk with. They spent plenty of time doing a full diagnosis and then spent even more time sitting down and explaining what exactly was wrong (and used clear explanations so that I, as a very NON technical person, could easily understand! As a woman, I can’t say I’ve EVER had a home repair person actually take the time to explain what a certain part was called or what it actually did. They would usually just speak to my husband or speed over it assuming I didn’t care). The respect they paid to both myself and my husband as co-owners of our home was definitely noticed. They took time to interact with our kids, which also made an impact on me! Our little guy keeps asking when they’re coming back and if they’ll be able to stay and hang out…haha. I really appreciate the professional work they did as well, completely and thoroughly looking at every possible problem and solution. We already look forward to working with them to get our stuff sorted out and get our air running smoothly again!

I switched over to SALT for my HVAC maintenance after having a negative experience with another local HVAC company and I couldnt be happier that I switched to SALT. Rory was the technician and he was amazing. Prior to his arrival, he called and said a time slot opened so he could be to my house sooner than expected which was great. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and thorough in his work. After he finished his work he sat down with me and went through his findings. He was very honest in his assessment and did not try to upsell me on anything not necessary. He also patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. Id highly recommend both SALT and Rory for their HVAC needs.
