Zach and Todd from Grayzer Electric just finished our 200A breaker panel upgrade and installation of a new circuit for an induction cooktop (in very cold weather, I might add), and I can highly recommend them based on my experience.From the start Grayzer let me know exactly what to expect for the process, including a timeline for pulling the permit and scheduling the disconnect for the upgrade. They gave me a reasonable and accurate quote for the job, showed up on time, and everyone was extremely professional and thorough in answering my questions. They even had the upgrade completed and power restored sooner than expected, which was very appreciated considering the cold temps outside.I couldnt ask for anything else. Ill definitely be calling them in the future to install a fast charger once were ready to get an EV.

Out of 3 different quotes Grayzer gave us the best price for 200A panel upgrade which included install of EV wall charger. Grayzer was great to work with. They responded the next day to my quote inquiry. I took some time to put together a fairly comprehensive summary of my house and where I would prefer to run the power for my EV charger to get it into my garage. They reviewed this information, acknowledged it in their quote, and confirmed that they would be able to execute to my desired setup. They were prompt with scheduling and made that process easy. On the day of install, they arrive slightly early (great), and knocked out the installation without issue (even though it wasnt the easiest of installs). I highly recommend using them from your EV Charger installation.

I had Grayzer install a level 2 charger (and optional whole house surge protector) on the exterior of my house. The entire process was very professional. They use an online system to present their quotation that tracks Q&A and pictures related to the project. They pull permits for the work. They were very responsive to all my quote questions. The install team (Max and Todd) arrived on time on the day of work, and worked very focused and diligently to get the job done. Max was the lead for my work, and was very happy to answer any questions I had. They cleaned up after themselves, made sure I understood how to access the required app, and talked me through the inspection process. For me, given the professionalism and permit procedures, they were a great value for the price charged. I would definitely recommend them.

I just wanted to take a moment to say how fantastic my experience with Grayzer Electric has been. I purchased my first Electric Vehicle at the beginning of Aug 23, that same week I started looking for a company to install my home EVSE (Charging device). I shopped around and read lot of reviews and I kept seeing Grayzer come up on Yelp, Google and Reddit. I figured I would get a quote from them for the work and it was magic from there! Their quoting process is simple and easy, answer some questions, upload some photos of your home and they got me a quote within 2 hours that was reasonable. From there, I confirmed the quote and they set me up for installation. They came to my home the next week, they arrived on schedule, were courteous and upfront. Both of the gentlemen that arrived took excellent care of my home and did a wonderfully clean and FAST installation of my EVSE. They even walked me through setting up my EVSE with the app! If you live in the Austin Metro area and need an EVSE or other electrical work done. I would absolutely recommend Grayzer!

I found Grayzer via a reddit post for Rivian owners. Of the 3 companies I requested quotes from, Grayzer came up with the best price and offered to help organize whats needed to take advantage of the EV charger rebate. They also offered to report the install to Tesla (Im using their universal charger for my Rivian). Their price actually matched my trusted electricians quote but he wasnt going to offer the other stuff regarding the EV rebate, so I went with Grayzer.Zack provided an ETA and was very thorough in setting expectations with me throughout the install process which was greatly appreciated. His install itself was very clean looking and he cleaned up after himself inside/outside my garage. Im very happy I went with Grazyer!

Cant say enough about my experience with Brock at Grayzer Electric. I found Grayzer via a Google search and contacted them based on their high reviews. I was not disappointed. From the start, Jessica was very informative in setting up the appointment and guiding me in what I would need to consider in the install of a single coachlight over my garage door. Meeting the electrician, Brock, just carried over my buyers confidence even more. He arrived on time and got to work, helping me decide on placement, size, and set up. He instructed me clearly on not only how to direct the necessary masonry pre-work for my install but also on a recommended timer for my fixture. Next, he engaged me on desired fixture placement, treated all of my questions with respect and patience, and got to work on the wiring. The wiring and conduit was clean and unobtrusive. He saved me money by suggesting the timer setup and Ive not looked back. Neighbors marvel at how tidy the conduit and end results look. And the light is a beautiful add to my home. I contacted Grayzer Electric along with a few others last summer when I got my Tesla Model Y to get an estimate for upgrading our older mod-90s service panel and install a Tesla charger. At the time, it was a very good price, but I ended up going with a much cheaper option of getting a 14-50 outlet installed off our sub panel in the garage. Turns out, that was a mistake, as that solution gave us problems until I de-rated the charging by 50% to not kick off and overheat our sub panel breaker. I learned the hard way that old adage about having to do something twice.So this summer I decided enough was enough, and got new estimates from various electricians around Austin (the big names you all know).The prices were honestly shocking, but I also reached out to Grayzer again as well. They refreshed the estimate, which barely changed at all. Their reviews are great, so I said lets do it. Because Im not in City of Austin, they were able to schedule me the same week.Max and his crew showed up exactly on time, maybe a few minutes early even, and was very clear about everything that needed to happen. Once PEC arrived and pulled the meter, they all got to work, with him removing and replacing our old panel with a new Eaton CH, and the other two helping and running the conduit and lines for the charger. The garage of our 2-story is opposite the panel, so this was an up the side, over through the attic, and down the other. I did an outside install, since the Tesla Wall Connector is weatherproof.The final results are fantastic, and charging at 48A is so much better than 16A. The guys were easy to talk to, answered every question I had, were fine with me being nosy and watching them work. The inspection was smooth and took just a few minutes, and the whole job was done – including the wait on PEC to come back and push the meter back in – earlier than they originally said when they arrived that morning. The bill was exactly the original estimate, too. No overage.Fun fact: the total cost was $2k less than just the panel replacement estimate from the other guys, and about half the other full estimates I got. Grayzer charged about what I found when I googled cost to replace service panel. Fair price, honest people, great results.I would recommend them to friends, family, and complete strangers, like yall. :)

I found Grayzer from a long list of Tesla recommended installers. Let me say, I am SO glad I went with Grayzer. They visited my house and prepared a quote within days. All other competitors were slow to respond and over priced.Max P and Todd arrived on time and did the work swiftly with top notch professionalism. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical across my attic to the other side of my house. We were in the middle of a heatwave and the attic was extremely hot, but they met the challenge and delivered perfect work. The location of the charger requires running electrical in a very tight spot and was expecting conduit outside my house. However, they pulled off what I though was impossible and did a SUPER clean install. Nothing exposed, just a Tesla charger on the wall, exactly where I wanted it.Post install, Max P ran me through the warranties, wifi setup, basic instructions on things to do before calling for help. He was very knowledgeable with Tesla chargers and explained why I should pair wifi. Best of all, I am no longer charging at 4mph. My car charges above 40mph, a 10x improvement.Seriously look no further for an electrician. Having tried a few others on various projects, this team is the best.

On the day of install, a crew of two people arrived at 8 and finished the job under 4 hrs. The job was to run cable on both sides of house with conduit and fish through attic. The guys were professional and discussed the options with me before starting the job and were clean in their craftsmanship. Fully satisfied and recommend them for wall charger installs. 👍🏻

Im happy with Grayzer Electric since they thoroughly explained information and helped me understand so I could choose wisely. I wasnt sure which route to choose given the almost twofold price difference between installing NEMA ($500) and Tesla Wall Connector ($1100). If I chose the less expensive NEMA option now, I was worried that there would be issues in the future. With the help of an informed family member, I verified the information Grayzer Electric had given me and realized they are obviously professionals in their industry. I decide to use the Tesla charger they suggest. They no longer install NEMA, in any case. They installed my Tesla charger the day after I accepted their quote.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. I hired Grayzer to install a Wall Connector for a Tesla in my parking lot at my small condo complex. First, the communication with this company was above and beyond when explaining what was needed. I had a lot of questions since Im dealing with an HOA and property management. They were patient and very helpful & responsive. Then the quote arrived - it was detailed with a very competitive price so I hired them. On installation day, Max was incredibly professional, and the work was done perfectly. My neighbors commented on the quality of the workmanship and how pleasant the electricians were. Grayzer electric was great. I needed an exterior light installed where no light existed. The exterior wall is brick and another company I contacted wouldnt even do the job. Brock, the technician assigned to the job, called me two and a half hours before the scheduled time saying he was available. I was out but told him I could be back in 15 minutes. He was already waiting when I arrived home. He assessed the situation and found a good location for the light, consulted with me as to how high I wanted the light to be placed and went about his work. He told me it would take an hour to an hour and half to finish the job and thats exactly how long it took. Grayzer charges by the hour and then by the quarter hour after that and the cost was extremely reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Grayzer to anyone.

I would highly recommend Grayzer based on: Service, Professionalism and Cost. I recently had recessed LED lighting installed in our master BR, study nook and living room with vaulted ceilings. First off, their receptionist/scheduler, Jessica, is fantastic. Very friendly and helpful explaining their service and pricing. They schedule within a 2hr window...also a plus in my mind.Electricians Jim and Logan(? hope i got names right?) were very clear on when they would show up the day prior and then called ~45min ahead of arrival to ensure I was home. Both days they actually arrived early! Pretty surprising based on other contractor experiences Ive had. Ultimately, they installed 13 beautiful lights across three rooms in 1 1/2 days and were very friendly and informative while they worked.I will likely be calling Grayzer again as I start my next project in the very near future. thanks!

Project: Installation of an exterior fan on a front porch without existing electrical connection.The electricians from Grayzer worked tirelessly to determine a way to run electrical to the porch in the most aesthetically appealing manner possible, which due to the construction of the house was not an easy feat. Brock was able to get the wiring routed through interior joists directly out to the porch joist which I wanted the fan hung. Upon completion they left my home clean. I feel their prices are reasonable and their electricians are courteous, prompt, and extremely competent.I would recommend Grayzer Electric for your electrical needs.

Just recently bought a house needing some electrical repairs and decided based off of reviews and a personal recommendation that Grayzer Electric was the way to go. I was not let down! Victor was able to quickly repair all of the issues that I had (faulty wiring, missing GFCI plugs, improper grounding, hot and reversed plugs, blown transformer). He went above and beyond to do everything that I was hoping for. He even offered to install my newly purchased Nest doorbell after troubleshooting the existing faulty doorbell wiring. They were able to schedule me quickly for a home remodel job. Placed a total of 7 recessed can lights with dimmer switches. Max was awesome; very friendly and courteous and always giving suggestions and tips on how to do the job better. He stayed late on a Friday to complete the job and made sure everything worked perfectly and the job site was completely clean. Prices on par or better than other places. I will be using them again and asking for Max in the near future for my next round of recessed lights and other small electrical jobs.

Found Grayzer Electric from a web search. I called them to set a schedule. They provided me a complete estimate for installing LED lights in my kitchen (ceiling) and adding a dimmable switch. Estimate was very reasonable. The electricians Victor and Dylon arrived as scheduled.They explained the process for installing the LED lights and how they would light up the kitchen area. They carefully spaced out each LED light so that all areas of my kitchen had the proper amount of light.When all was completed, the kitchen lit up perfectly. With the combination of the six LED lights (HALO Ultra thin) and the dimmable switch they installed, the lighting is exactly what we wanted. They even went over our living room lighting and showed us what they could do to improve the lighting of our living room.Both Victor and Dylon were very professional and courteous and made sure we were happy with all aspects of the work. Good job!!!A great first impression and would be happy to use Grayzer Electric again.

Excellent experience! A breaker started tripping, and after my own troubleshooting, I assumed it was a worn out breaker. The problem turned out to be a mixture of a ceiling fan fixture and flaky LED bulbs. Max was excellent. He was friendly, listened to my info, and did a methodical troubleshooting. He took time to explain what he was doing, and give me specific instructions if I had similar DIY future issues that I chose to do myself. The bill was only for the 1 hour minimum charge + parts, and he was patient to do everything thoroughly. He even called the next day, to ask if everything was still working well. Grayzer is a winner, and Max represents them well.

After fixing the fan switch, they helped me maximize the hourly minimum by offering to complete the installation of a ceiling fan I had been putting off. All that *and* they came in under estimate. In summary: switch fixed... ceiling fan installed... all for less money than anticipated.
