Oct 2024 update:This is the second time calling Mister Sparky of Austin, and I am glad I did! I had a great experience with their technician Cory H. I had three non-working outlets, and Cory quickly identified the outdoor outlet as the root cause. He called ahead, arriving right on time, which I appreciated. He took the time to explain the problem and the planned solution clearly. Cory came prepared with all the parts needed to fix the issue. He provided estimates before starting and got the job done quickly, yet effectively. Im confident in the quality of the repair. Cory also mentioned improvements that I can do in the house (additional fire detectors) and a surge protector. I highly recommend Cory H. and Mister Sparky for their professionalism and excellent service.Note - scheduling an appointment is still a breeze!Original post: Booking an appointment was hassle-free, and Nathan promptly arrived to inspect the job and the breaker box. I found my go-to electricians! Matthew did a wonderful job installing a ceiling fan for me (no wobbling!) and moving an outlet to accommodate a future cabinet installation. Reasonable price, prompt and conscientious service. The outlet move was annoying but he was patient with me and seemed to really care about getting it right. I will call them next time without hesitation.

The thing that separates good contractors from the pack is that good contractors take responsibility for what they work on and don’t try to turn their mistake into a profit/upsell.Caleb is a great electrician and did an awesome job but what makes him a great guy working for a good company is that Caleb came back at no charge and with no argument, fixed a plumbing-related problem that was impacted by the electrical work.Caleb and Sparky understand what honesty is and taking full responsibility for theirwork.Great job guys !

Update 6/5/24Cory and Derek stopped by today for an inspection, and both did an incredible job. Thank you both for your friendliness and professionalism.---Romeo did a helluva job. We asked Mister Sparky to install a new ceiling fan, seven recessed lights and two start switches. It wasnt an easy job - our 18ft vaulted ceiling has no attic access and contains support beams that made it difficult to run wires, but Romeo delivered with minimal sheetrock removed. Showed up exactly on time and finished the job in one session. Thank you so much - we will definitely be using Mister Sparky (and requesting Romeo) again.

I decided to replace the breaker box because the box and breakers were original to when the complex was built in 1980s. Now I feel safer and confident with the job the young men did. Treyvon Walker was amazing. We lost power to our main bedroom and it was just a switch outside. Nothing major. So that was good. He didn’t charge for that, there was no fee to come. However, he did a complete safety check, explained to me what he thought would be good for our home and was honest about what didn’t need to be fixed. His honesty and efficiency were why I joined their annual service club. I will be hiring them in the dirt or redo our plugs and adding surge protection to our home. They were quick to get here!!

We are getting bids for a box replacement so we didn’t have an install, but I was impressed by the electrician’s knowledge and explanations. We did buy their annual service plan ($129) which includes an annual maintenance program and 5% off in services.Had a service today by Nathan. Really good guy and comparable pricing by Mr Sparky. Was clear about what needed to be done, explained it in terms I understood. What I liked best: came when they said they would. Had trouble with a competitor who no showed twice.

Then he checked out the outside garage light that had quit working. He quickly found the issue and repaired it.Jason provided education about smoke detectors and the safe house inspection they do. He told me they endeavor to leave the house safer than it was when they arrive. He also answered all my many questions about other work I might want done. This was a great first visit and introduction to Mr. Sparky. All questions were answered clearly and concisely, the first visit coupon was honored with no hesitation. Hurrah for Mr. Sparky! They did excellent work in a very short time, and I have been very pleased with what both of them did.
