We used StarTech to repair a smart fan that short-circuited in our living room. The person I spoke with on the phone was very kind and helpful and recommended purchasing a ceiling fan as a backup so they could do an install in one visit, if needed. Of course, just as it was recommended, the fan was broken and they were prepared to build and replace it for us! The electricians that came out were very professional, kind, and helpful at explaining everything to us. They were even patient with my toddler who desperately wanted to climb their ladders. I would definitely recommend StarTech!

Brad and Carter were absolutely incredible. They were early, polite, accommodating, helpful, and were so thorough, neat and tidy with their work. The wiring was done impeccably, and the drywall repair work was done well. (I wasn’t expecting them to do any drywall repair at all and had already lined up a contractor to come fix it, but now there will be very little to do except sanding, texturing, and painting.) They even left and got a replacement piece for the ceiling square because it fell and broke when they sawed it out. The whole job was done splendidly, and I was so pleased with the entire experience. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you so much.

This is the 3rd time Ive had work done by Startech. They do a good job. My only issue is how they calculate time. Each time they have not had the breaker switches needed for the job and had to make a trip to Home Depot. It seems a bit odd that an electrician would not have an inventory of breaker switches on their truck. I believe they calculate this trip to the store into their charged time on the job. If it werent for this parts trip every time, Id give them 5 stars.

They do good work and I will definitely call them the next time I need any electrical work done, or repairs made, on my home. To make their service next-level awesome, my recommendation would be to focus on leaving the workspace as tidy and clean as they found it. A small battery operated vacuum would be something to consider; ensuring that the scraps from trimming wire is collected and disposed of; make sure you don’t leave fingerprints behind.

Patrick and Anthony arrived as scheduled and quickly assessed the scope of work. Both were friendly, focused and efficient in removing four very tired 20-year-old bathroon lights and installing mid-centurty modern fixtures — taking care to avoid the need for paint touch-ups. The star of this show was a mid-century modern industrial fan with a sleek silver body and wings to replace a very dated, heavy white fan. Ah. We were very pleased to have this done with such energy, verve and attention to our home! The only mis-step was I didnt ask and wasnt aware that Startech doesnt dispose of the old light fixtures, which is a nuisance; however, their charm and efficiency won the day. We were pleased to get an appointment to replace a chandelier just a few days after calling. Rob and his assistant got the job done and were then very accommodating in hanging 3 pendant lights that werent on the original work order. We noticed that the globes we had purchased werent identical, so we shopped for matching pendants and they returned the next day to replace two pendants, all within the first invoice. How can you not recommend such service?
