I cant express how grateful I am to have found Ryan. After a nightmare experience with a dishonest construction company that left my house in ruins and ran off with my money, I was feeling hopeless. The electrical work they had started was a complete disaster, and I was at my wits end because I couldnt live in the house.I reached out to five different electricians, and each one took one look at the chaos in my attic and basically said, Nope, too much trouble. Ryan has been to our house twice to help with electrical needs. The first time was with quite short notice, due to miscommunication between my husband and a different electrician. We needed the work done quickly, and Ryan pulled through with very little advanced notice.During the course of that job, speaking with my husband, we realized what a gem we had found! If we could build a custom house, Ryan would be the one to wire it without a doubt.When he came back for the second round of service, nothing had changed—professional, perfect work, and just what we asked for. Delivered at the price agreed-upon before hand in the estimate.As it stands, I know that as long as Ryan and PowerPro Electric are in Austin, there won’t be any other electrician in our house.You will not be disappointed.

There are times when you are trying a new business for the first time and wonder if you made the right choice. I was having my AC serviced and there was a concern that the AC circuit maybe popping in the future. I was recommended to call Ryan with Power Pro Electric and I’m glad I did. Ryan came out and checked the AC circuit unit and found it to be functioning properly and said, if it does pop, to give him a call and he would be back out. I asked him, what did I owe him, at least a service charge and he said, no. He checked it and it was ok. It’s nice to know when you are dealing with an honest individual.

Ryan of PowerPro Electric is now my go-to guy for electrical work. Just like his website says, he will treat your home just like it is his own - with respect and care. He knows what he is doing, is honest about his work and pricing, communicates well and shows up when he says he will. He found a breaker box in my home that had been recalled years ago due to severe fire hazard, and I googled it and found it was a serious well-known-in-the-industry hazard that previous electricians had overlooked. I am sleeping easier now that Ryan replaced it and also did a new stove 240 line for us. Fair and reasonable pricing, great person.

We reached out to Ryan via email on a Tuesday evening with a list of what we had issues with, and got a response back within an hour that included knowledgeable recommendations on each. He made time to come out that same Thursday, and fixed everything on the list. His hourly rate is extremely fair (and communicated ahead of time), and he was not only incredibly nice to us but our barky dogs as well. We recently found some other faulty light setups that he is helping fix soon. Highly recommend. He is busy and that is likely because he is so reliable & trustworthy.

I messaged PowerPro Electric on a Sunday morning, not thinking I would get a quick reply. To my surprise, they responded immediately and came out to the home within 2 hours to help with our issue. Ryan and Brittany are wonderfully communicative and care about their service. It took Ryan no time to diagnose our issue, and fix it quickly. Ryan will be back soon to install a new thermostat for us, and Im looking forward to it, as I can 100% trust his work and timeliness.

Ive had multiple contractors in my house over the years, and he was by far 1) the best Ive worked with, 2) extremely reasonable pricing, and 3) under promised and over delivered.This is exactly what you want out of someone doing work on your home. Great job! Thank you so much for a clean and quick installation of our charger! We plan to use PowerPro for all of our electrical work in the future.

He showed up on time, took care of the electrical issue we had, went above and beyond by moving our dishwasher to the garage after he disconnected it and his service was very fairly priced. I found Ryan based on his great reviews and after a similarly awesome experience, I wanted to contribute my own 100% unincentivized opinion to support him as a small business owner building up his client base. I asked how he got started, and electrical work is literally the family business. He grew up in a family of electricians with 2 local businesses, and his is the 3rd that he founded when striking out on his own. I forget the other two, but its irrelevant. Hes located in South Austin and does great work so Im sold.Ryan was very up front about his service fee, and I was happy to know that it could be put towards repairs performed in that visit if I wanted. I actually really appreciate the option to have someone come out for a set fee and then decide whether or not I want them to perform the repairs. He takes (in order of preference) cash, checks, and cards, though cards do incur a 3% pass-through fee that hed otherwise have to eat. Thats expected for any independently-run business, and frankly even large businesses pass the processing fees onto customers these days, either directly or in goods/service pricing.The day of our appointment, he texted an hour in advance to confirm the time he anticipated showing up, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. He was friendly, patient, professional, and extremely understanding about the dishes I hadnt gotten to before he showed up.I already knew I wanted Ryan to perform the work after figuring out what was wrong, and I think I only ended up paying about $20 more than the flat service fee. All of the outlets are now working. He also gave me tips to avoid future issues and showed me how to do something really, really basic that I should probably know as a homeowner without making me feel like an idiot. Great job all around! Wed use him again without hesitation.

While my job wasnt a big one, Ryan saved me a nice chunk of change. Ryan knew that my breakers had a lifetime warranty and could be swapped out at no cost. He replaced two of my bad breakers as well as swapping out another old one that was flying around. Afterward, he sent me a message with the exact breakers I have and the support line for that company.
