A/C went down on Monday. Called ARS and tech came out Monday around 8pm. Stated Compressor shot. And, because inside and outside units ran on outdated R-22 refrigerant, whole system needed to be replaced to current requirements. Comfort Advisor came out that evening to show us options. We chose a system. (We were told the new system would qualify for $2000 federal tax rebate). After installation, we did research and discovered our new system probably does Not qualify. Our system SEER2 has 14.3 rating and to qualify it supposedly requires equal to or greater than 17 rating. But...the ratings have changed every year recently...so understandable mistake. The installation team arrived on time and the removal of old and installation of new was completed in around 3 hours as stated.Follow-up inspection and electrical work done in friendly and timely manner. Overall...the work was completed timely and home is cool.

The professionalism of the team that worked on my project was not only impressive but such a pleasure. Their demeanor, attention to detail as well as expertise in their field was commendable. It was clear they understood the project and executed it seamlessly overcoming all the additional challenges a historic house comes with. Included in their attention to detail was the thoughtfulness and preparation they immediately executed by way of protective coverings for flooring, etc. and shoe coverings which protected my 125 year old wood floors.If I could, I would award 10 stars!

I have used ARS for my a/c work, and even had a Reme Halo installed earlier this year, but I needed an outside faucet leak repaired and their prices were ridiculously high. My plumber charges $225/hr and it would have been half the price to use him. It took less than 45 minutes to repair. Since I had waited over 4 hours for them to arrive, it being their last call on a Friday, and my faucet still leaking, I didnt have much of a choice, I had it repaired. I could have paid my plumber for 2 hrs. of work and still been cheaper than what they charged. They did a good job, but I will Never use ARS again for any plumbing issues!

He takes his time figuring out what causes the problem after finding the problem the he explains to you what needed to be done, repairs. Then he gives you options. Very quick response when my HVAC had a slight problem starting the other day. Even though the problem did not return after the first time.I was overdue for a checkup so I continued with the service.For a very reasonable price the technician checked the system, said I really didnt need a new capacitor or contactor. Then he completely washed off the condenser coils outside and checked the air handler inside.ARS did the initial installation of this system (ordered via Home Depot) in 2019 and it has worked extremely well since then. This 1800 SF home is kept cool in the summer and warm in the winter better than any of my houses (9 of them) over the years.

He also suggested and installed a new part which will protect our capacitor from future failures. Billing was quick and he explained the costs very well. Overall I am happy with the install the company is a third party contractor from Lowes. However, there was communication problems between their internal sales team, system designer, and installers. I was originally told install would happen on Friday, but when I called to confirm it was actually scheduled for the following Monday. Next, I was told install would only be eight hours, but minimal crew was dispatched and they did not have all the necessary supplies. The install crew was awesome, they stayed late to get some AC going to cool down my house from 80+ degrees and 60% humidity. Thus the four star rating instead of three. The crew finished the install (new ducting and heating) the very next day. The only concern I have is they travel from Austin to the Waco area for service and installs. Having such long travel time, communication is paramount to getting quality service in the least amount of time.

ARS, I completed my consultation on Sunday, 29 Oct 23, with patience, not rushed, everything fully explained, and went over the full process of what to expect for my project. I accepted the plan, labor, and parts warranty that comes with purchase, other options, and upgrades were offered to ensure I had the best options for my budget. The next day installation was completed on 30 Oct 23. They completed my entire AC replacement in a timely manner. ARS team was very polite, explaining my new system. Walk me through preventative maintenance measurements to keep my system running like new over time. The guys went over how to use my new thermostat, how to flush ducts, and how and when to change my filters. They even mentioned that ARS offers their customers an option for extended warranty pass the 10-year warranty, and option for home yearly service for a small fee. They treated my home with care like it was their own, even cleaned up after themselves and disposed of the old unit. I also received a military discount. On behalf of all service members and veterans, we are appreciative of that offer. If your trying to make a decision, on whom you will choose to service your needs dont hesitate any further , ARS is the team you want on your next project, my experience was white glove service.

ARS worked hard to complete everything to install the new tankless gas hot water heater. When the city inspector requested a GFCI plug they returned to install that.The tub faucet that we wanted to install wouldnt work with the plumbing setup they swapped it out and got us a faucet that will fit. We were rescheduled again and again by another plumbing company so I asked for a referral at my neighborhood Home Depot. I had a call back in 15 minutes and set an appointment for the next morning. John Medina, the sales rep was there at 9 am and he answered every questions I had so my decision was well informed. I ordered the water heater at Home Depot and the installer picked it up on the way to our house. Pete Lindeman did the install and he pointed out a lot of problems with the old configuration. After the install he walked me thru how he addressed each one. He did very precise work and the end result looked great! We were online by 4:30 pm! He connected us with Joseph Gilbert to help us with a new unit. Both technicians carefully checked the unit and ductwork and worked up an estimate for replacement of the unit and ducts. Joseph spent quite a lot of time ensuring that we would get the proper tonnage for our square footage. I definitely recommend ARS for all your service needs.
