I had an interlocking kit and receptacle installed on my home for my Westinghouse generator recently. Tom was responsive, professional and took the time to explain, not only the 50 amp connection process, but showed me how best to use my generator. The price was also reasonable. A Plus service! All these reviews for generator hook ups, me too! After the big freeze I had them come out and do an interlock for me. They had to move some breakers, install the interlock and the input receptacle and it looks and works great. They did a 5 star job and I am way less stressed about weather issues.

I had a new Generac generator to install that was on site on a concrete slab. Dial One sent out an excellent engineer that knew what to do right away. He already booked the linesman to disconnect the feed to my home so he could do all the line voltage wiring and connect the low-voltage ones that auto-started the generator when the utility power failed. After the Linesman reconnected the power, the DialOne Engineer tested the installation and it has performed as expected ever since.I called around but no other companies could have installed the generator.

Working with this company was a pleasure. They were courteous, prompt and did what they said the would do when they said they would do it. Every person I interacted with was competent and worked with me as if the job they were doing for me was as important to them as it was to me.These days you dont normally find contractors like this. I cant say enough good things about them.On top of great service, their pricing for doing a custom job of hanging soffit lights on my office building was done at a reasonable price.

Over the years Dial One has installed an outdoor plug, installed a ceiling fan, and corrected a ground fault reset switch. They were always on-time and did excellent work, with quality parts.

We had virtually all of the lighting replaced in our house. The biggest change was the installation of over 40 can lights. Moises and Matt did a great job. They were punctual, easy to work with, made some great suggestions, and cleaned up after themselves. Cutting 40 holes in the ceiling is messy, but at the end of the day, there was no mess left. We are very happy with the result and the lights look great.

My first service call with Dial One Electric was handled by Jonathan - He was very efficient, knowledgeable, competent, kind, courteous and considerate...I had what seemed to be a complexed issue that Jonathan navigated like a Pro. I particularly appreciated how he easily assumed that I would be capable of things he trained me to do. Jaime G. was absolutely fantastic. Professional, knowledgeable, polite, and above all patient with questions! We were tripping breakers during normal afternoon/evening use. He walked through troubleshooting, figured out our issue, and was able to get our main breaker switched out all in one go.Who knew that geckos could fit into a gap the size of a pencil and then into the business side of a 60A breaker? Eric Felan and field Electricians Brian Laney and Dustin did an excellent job for a commercial job that we needed on very short notice. We understand many companies are often backlogged and are unable to perform jobs on short notice, so we dont expect Dial One to always be able to react so fast...but were thankfully that they did this time!We were basically stood up by another electric company that had very poor communication skills, but we wont bash that company, instead we just want highlight how well Dial One communicated with us, promptly came out to survey the job, and then executed the job. Brian and Dustin were professional and had great customer service!The work we needed was to replace 4 old school light fixtures with 6 energy saving LED lights, all on a 33 foot ceiling. These guys were initially willing to do the job on a short scissor lift, but at the last minute we were able to rent a 32 foot lift to make job safer and more do-able.Our lights look great and the job these guys did was excellent. I definitely recommend this company and I will reach back out to them for future jobs we may have.

I cannot put into words how happy I am with the service provided by DialOne. The electrician, Tom, was extremely thorough and did a fantastic job in diagnosing and resolving our electrical problems. Ok here is the scoop. Called several electric companies to do some work for me, actually change all the old lights and put new ones. I have used Dial One Electrical for years now on many projects. They have done small jobs such as change out light fixtures, added a phone line and ran power out to my pond. They also did a big home addition project including not only the electrical portion but they ran the data and cable lines as well. The technicians have always been very professional and knowledgeable and the prices have always been very fair ( not to mention my senior citizen discount they offer ). I will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a great experienced electrician.

This is the note I wrote to Dial One....Dial One Team:Just wanted to send a note of appreciation for the GREAT service I have received from Dial One --- all the way from the receptionist to the person that came out and checked my problem (I think his name was Linn).I couldn’t be more satisfied, as the repair did not cost me any $$$. Linn contacted Austin Energy and the customer service department took care of the problem. While you didn’t make any money from this transaction, rest assure that you have built trust and a lasting relationship.I just got off the phone with the Tybray Property management, who manages the HOA in my complex. I’ve shared my story and your contact info. Tybray was very happy that issue was resolved and said they would keep you on the short list of contractors for future electrical requirements, etc. I hope you get a lot of business through them as they have large presence in Austin.Also, I will be sure to refer you to my family and friends.Again, hats off to your entire team of staff!

Good ol Austin Energy decided my meter was failing, pulled it, then decided my connectors were too old and ran off with the meter and a note on the door. So, no power and 20 degree winter mix on the way. Found out about this at 2pm after finding the note. Called AE and they basically said too bad, you gotta call an electrician. Called Dial One since they were near the top of the search results.Dial One sent Tom out quickly, but took about an hr for him to get down to my house. On the way he had me txt him some pictures of the hole that AE left. Dial One got he permits started and Tom went back out to get the parts. He got it all repaired by 5:30 or so... Then was willing to sit around and wait for an inspector and then again for the actual crew who had the meter to put back on. Didnt leave until about 7:30.Austin Energy gets 0 stars for the initial inspector who clearly wasnt thinking about leaving a family to freeze.The AE crew that came out to inspect the second time and reattach the meter get some stars as well. Not their fault and they did their thing quickly and left.Dial One and Tom get 5 stars easy. Did everything I would hope for and more.

Workmen remodeling my living room lost track of how to rewire my two-way light switch. Even before that, it was not working correctly after my kitchen was remodeled, but it was working to an extent. We called Dial One, and the electrician got it working perfectly again with no trouble. Additionally, I was able to make an appointment within a short time after my call. I cant remember exactly, but I think it was just a matter of a few days.

Omg. These guys are simply amazing! Tom, the tech that came by to do work for us, was beyond amazing. He showed up at 9 and worked straight through till 6 PM pointing out several issues that were both electrical and other items to note about the new home we purchased. Recognizing I was new to the area he gave me phone numbers that would help me with problems that I have as well as gave me great suggestions that would save me both time and money. I expect somebody to just come in and blow through the 405 items I needed to be done. Tom did much more. He absolutely cared about the work you did and we found something wrong he would take care of it even though wedding on my list to be done I expected somebody to just come in and blow through the 4-5 items that needed to be done. Tom did much more. He absolutely cared about the work he did and when he found something wrong he would take care of it even though it wasnt even on my list to be done. As an example, he reprogrammed my fan so the remote control would work. Who does that?? I can’t say enough about Dial One as an organization and Tom as a technician! Highly recommend these guys!!

When I was calling around to get a quote from various electricians, Dial One was, by far, more responsive than anyone else we called.We had them replace the main panel in a house built in 1960, as well as ground some outlets and install GFIs. With each appointment, everyone arrived promptly and all of the employees were friendly and pleasant.The work was done well and the price came in under the estimate. The electricians were good about cleaning up after they were done and were very respectful of our belongings and property.I would certainly recommend Dial One to anyone looking for an electrician.
