Just an overall great experience. I sent a message and they called me to schedule within hours. I got an appointment for the next day. The techs were knowledgeable & engaging, and fixed my issue easily, and gave me good general advice on setup and operation for my sprinkler system. I thought the service fee was a great value.

UPDATE: A 3rd person came out to fix the drip system. I appreciate it. Let’s see if it works!Oops! After $2100 charge, my bedding drip. System. Insufficient work. Devon and Jose worked to charge me for new equipment, without EVER looking at my beds.Tried to talk with Devon. He insisted it all worked, even though it’s very clear after a water day that several bed zones don’t work.Devon did he doesn’t get paid enough to fix this issue. Stay away. They are very interested in selling new stuff. Just not fixing that which you explicitly explained was wrong.Warranty? Get on the phone, folks.Try to call these folks to fix stuff crew didn’t do properly. “I’ll contact my managers.” And then said they are totally busy.Never give money to this company

Was impressed with the service. Cavin was extremely knowledgeable and resourceful, so he knew exactly where and how to identify the root cause of the issue (damaged controller wires to valve box). He made sure to get my alignment on cost before completing the repairs and after complete, took detailed notes on the scope of work performed. Lastly, he shared some helpful advice for maintaining and improving the system in the future.

Andys people all work efficiently and scheduling is easy. They are now our first and only call.....

They came at the appointed time and sent the person they said theyd send, plus a helper (which is great because someone has to work the controller while someone else walks around and checks all the heads). They checked my water pressure, did a good job testing each head, dealt with some that were stuck, and fixed a couple sprinkler heads that were broken. I already knew my controller needed to be replaced, which they did and left the new one programmed just like the old one. Easy peasy.I checked the price of the controller online and I paid more, but I think it was a fair price because they knew how to install it and did all the programming.My one quibble is that they charge a $100 service fee for the visit, which doesnt include any work. I was surprised that they didnt waive the service fee when I bought the new controller for big $$ and said so. It turns out you have to *ask* for the fee to be waived, which they then did. I think thats low-rent, giving breaks to people with experience with this sort of thing, but not to newcomers. But otherwise, so far, so good.

Devon and his partner showed up quickly after I called, to shut the water off to my sprinklers. I thought they had broken, but no, it was my main water line. They quickly found the leak and were back the next morning to fix it. If I have issues in the future, they will be on my speed dial.

Had Lee and his associate come to our house to fix a sprinkler problem we were having. Called early and was able to be at our house at least an hour before scheduled appointment. Lee was able to diagnose the problem and fixed the problems in a timely and efficient manner. Cost was great. Would recommend Lee to fix your sprinkle problems without any hesitation!!!

My technician, Daniel was professional, courteous, and very knowledgable. There were several repairs required including a mainline leak repair and replacement/install of DCA. Several rotors were also replaced. Once the extensive work was done the holes dug were filled in and care was taken to put back everything expertly you could hardly tell where the holes were dug. Clean-up was exceptional. I have used Andys Sprinkler several times and will continue to use them for my future sprinkler and drainage needs.

Overall Thomas and his assistant did a good job. I was surprised by the costs of 6 inch sprinkler heads on top of the service fee. Two errors that I noticed however mild: one the start time is incorrect. It lists 1am when the start time is 10pm and on the overview form, it states no rain/freeze sensor when we have one on the back yard fence which should have been checked to see if it is working. Other than those two mistakes, the work was satisfactory.

I had a great experience today. The two men who came to check and fix our sprinkler system were punctual, thorough and knowledgeable about what they were doing. They were very respectful and did a great job. One of the men, I believe his name was Thomas, even went as far as explaining the sprinkler system to me (as far as knowing when to change the batteries, how to determine if there is a system issue, etc.). It was raining outside and they still had no problem getting the job done. I appreciate y’all’s knowledge and experience. My husband and I will definitely continue to use your services in the future.

Also gave helpful advice on other irrigation questions I had. We have tried 3 or 4 different irrigation companies over the years. Andys is who we plan to stay with.

Andys is my go to Sprinkler Company since 2011. Scheduling very easy, a heads up phone call and on time. Replaced the original controller(20 years old) because the control knob auto function was intermittent and I hadnt noticed. Original Zone 4 problem needed a 2nd troubleshooting visit because of time constraint. Broken/corroded wire was found very quickly on this 2nd visit just days later. New wire spiced in and Zone 4(and all others) tested good. Well done and highly recommended~!

They came in response to a warranty issue. The technician that had done my previous service had not adjusted my sprinklers correctly. I called, and with no push back from Andys, they were at my house within the week at no cost to me. They were very honest and explained the technician that had been to my home was no longer with the company. The new technician was so professional and knowledgeable. I ended up re-heading half my yard, once he broken it down to the number of gallons that I would be saving updating a 10-yr system with low water pressure and an almost constant breeze. Great work. We called in Andys to check out our irrigation system after we discovered a leak. We had hired a different person to do work earlier this year to ensure all our irrigation was redirected around new concrete being poured around our pool.Suffice it to say after we discovered the leak we discovered many issues with our system. Multiple breaks, and leaks UNDER our new concrete, broken relay wire under the new concrete etc.Andys got it all fixed. Were informative on everything at every step. I had a wet spot in the lawn and Gavin Taylor did a great job diagnosing the issue by doing a pressure test on irrigation system which indicated there was a slow leak. The issue turned out to be the valve which was suspect but was not leaking when everything was dug up around it. After the pressure test, he went back to be valve and the area was filling with water. Gavin was very professional and friendly. I have been using Andys for the past 3 years and this is my go-to company for any repair work on my sprinkler system.

Mike from Andys was very thorough and clearly explained 2 issues with my system. He showed me the defective controller and how it should normally operate. We agreed a new controller should be installed and Mike took it from their. He programed the controller based on the Pflugerville water schedule. In addition he pointed out my 6 solenoid values need to be replaced at some time but informed me I could do that when my budget allowed. I have used Andys and their team for the last 3 years.

Ok, you need to hear my experience of just how incredible these guys are— they went above and beyond. To start, I just bought my first house. There’s already an irrigation system setup, but it had a terrible Hunter X-Core controller (total POS, don’t buy one). I had already spent $200 getting the thing to work a few weeks ago from a competitor, and even they told me it was a terrible controller. Anyway, I accidentally broke the controller knob and this time decided to call Andy’s. I could have gone back to Hunter Sprinkler Services, but their technician was incredibly opinionated, blunt, and rude. I took a chance with Andy’s and BOY did it pay off. Cody and Ronaldo showed up, bright eyed and cheery, right on time. They took a look at the controller and told me what I essentially already knew: It was beyond repair. When Cody showed me their quote for a new controller my jaw dropped. I called their manager, Layne, to see if there was anything they could do to lower the price. Layne was kind, courteous, and inquisitive about my situation. I could tell he genuinely wanted to help; he was actively listening, and was ultimately able to drop the price a little. He explained that most of the price was in the labor cost (which ultimately paid back dividends; these guys were worth every penny). While Ronaldo got to work setting up the new controller (Rain Bird), Cody went around the yard looking for the various irrigation solenoid valves. I went back inside for a few minutes then came back outside. Rather than giving up Cody was still looking for the solenoids. I told him that the previous guy from HSS said I only had two zones, so there’d probably only be one solenoid. Cody said that didn’t quite add up, based on the number of wires Ronaldo was re-wiring from the older irrigation controller into the new one. I told Cody that the HSS technician mentioned as much, but that they were broken and it would be about $2,000 to fix the ones in the second zone. Cody just smiled and said something like, “Well, we’ll connect what we can and find out!” About ten minutes later Ronaldo finished, I showed Cody where the sole solenoid was (under a rock), and then Cody turned the system on. That’s when the first bit of magic happened. I had not one, not two, not three, but SIX zones! I had only ever seen one zone of sprinklers— about three of them— turn on. Lo and behold, I have something like thirteen sprinkler heads!! I’m 100% positive that the previous owner didn’t even know that, because there are permanent dirt patches on the front lawn in some of these zones. I had assumed they were from a lack of proper sprinkler-head placements. No, they simply weren’t hooked up to the Hunter X-core controller. The wires for the additional zones were tucked neatly under the controller, and the previous HSS technically didn’t do anything about it. Hah! As we walked around the house, with my mind completely blown from the amount of sprinklers I had never seen before, something else was blowing Cody’s mind: The water pressure. “Oh,” I told him, “Yeah, you should have been here a few weeks ago. I had a licensed plumber come out and adjust the water pressure, because apparently it was way too high on the inspection report.” Cody nodded politely, but I could tell he was still pretty concerned. “It was at 88psi before I moved in,” I told Cody, “But the guy that came out said he turned it down to about 50 before I moved in. I wasn’t home when he said he came by and adjusted the pressure.”... So what did Codey do? He checked my water pressure. What did it register at? 88psi— we had caught my previous plumber in a complete lie!! It registered at 122 without the irrigation system on, and 88 with it on. I was dumbfounded. That was now TWO different businesses that had taken advantage of me, a new homeowner, and then there was Cody and Ronaldo. Honest and kind. True to their words. They blew my mind today, twice.... So that’s my story! If you want a professional, courteous, kind, all-around excellent experience, go with these guys. You WON’T regret it.

Update to the original review posted below .... The owner of Andys called. We discussed my complaint. He explained that the job manager should have adjusted the cost to reflect that they didnt need to do any digging to replace the wire since the trench already existed to replace the piping. So we agreed on a reduced fee and he refunded the difference. I can now say that the job was done well and the billing was adjusted to my satisfaction.The work was excellent, however, other problems will preclude me from using your company ever again. Specifically, when they bid on the job of moving 3 water lines away from my septic tank their bid did not include an estimate for moving the electric wires which control the sprinkler zone valves. I was unaware that wiring might be part of the job but their rep pointed out to me (after the pipes had beed excavated) that the lines always follow the pipes, which means this was something he was aware of but did not mention in the bid. But even worse than not bringing that up was that the job leader (who was back at the office ill) said the rewiring would cost about $125, but when the man on site quoted the cost it was about $500, a cost that was much more than the original bid for the whole job. I had to move the wires because they went over the septic risers, so I approved of the job. It took about 20 mins to cut the old, twist on the new, attach the grease plugs on each connection and drop the wires into the trench already dug for the pipes. I think $500 for 20 mins of work is extremely high. When I asked the technician why it was more than $125 he reported that he could have done it for that if he had used a bundled wire product (much tinier wires than what I already had in the ground). So that told me that, since the labor would have been the same, the cost difference was due to using older, heavier wire. I find that hard to believe; Anyway ... they got me this time, but never again!

This is actually for the Waco, TX location, but there wasnt a selection for Waco on the Google page...I called Andys when I couldnt figure out how to use my sprinkler controller (just moved in - no user manual provided...) and to see if my sprinklers actually worked. Wesley and Jonah came out to give me some training on the controller and make sure that the system worked. The old controller was no longer working well and was not supported by the manufacturer (it was pretty old...), so I had Wesley install a new Rainbird controller, and we ran all of the zones in the yard! Cool to see where things worked, but even better when Wesley and Jonah found and fixed a broken sprinkler pipe in the front yard and a few broken heads. They did not flinch from the wet and the mud either. :-) They also marked a line that will be impacted by my upcoming porch installation - so helpful! These guys were the greatest and I highly recommend Andys Sprinker and Drainage to anyone in need of a new system or a fix to an existing system.

I live on a downward slope next to an open area of land. Every heavy rain results in a “river and swamp” in my backyard. The heavy rains of 2015 took away most of my topsoil, and killed my grass. I called three drainage specialist in late January of 2016. All three came out, although it took all of February to get the onsite inspections. Joe Stukey of Andy’s was the first to visit. Of the three companies, only two bothered to submit estimates and follow-up. Again, Joe was first. Joe was able to fit my project into March, while the other estimators stated a three month lead time. Joe’s estimate was higher than the other estimate, but his plan was more comprehensive with a fail-safe in case the “river” made it past the first line of defense.Joe has been a pleasure to work with. It is not often that you meet such quality people on a construction project. Alphonso, the site leader, and his crew worked tirelessly to provide the results I was looking for. I did not have to micromanage the project since they treated my yard as if it were their yard. I think I am ready for the next insanely heavy rain, and I look forward to seeing the system work. I will use Joe again if I have irrigation or drainage needs. I highly recommend Andy’s Irrigation and Joe Stukey if you want your money’s worth.
