Update: Another 5 stars for McConnell plumbing. Our main supply line started leaking & flooded our crawlspace. The ground was frozen so the water remained. Once again, I tried my regular plumber, & once again they were unavailable. So much for being a Platinum Member.I called McConnell Plumbing next & even though they were booked, they kindly made room in their schedule to dig up my front yard & fix the leak.Im so grateful to these people & from now on they will be my first call when I need a plumber.Original Review: October 2023Ive lived in Anderson my entire life. Ive hired many plumbers over the years. My first experience with McConnell Plumbing was my first 5-star experience with a plumber. They answered the phone when I called, had someone available when I needed, did the work efficiently, & charged a fair price. This is from my sister who does not leave feedback directly:McConnell is just the best, they set the bar for service and expertise. The two gentlemen that came to my house were just that, perfect gentlemen who treated me with respect and took me seriously even though I know virtually nothing about plumbing. They explained things in a way that I could understand without being condescending in the least.They were realistic about space requirements, yet resourceful with space limitations. They were nonjudgmental about all the paraphernalia that had accumulated in the basement and furnace room.Even if you have to go on a waiting list for service, they are worth the wait β they do beautiful work! -

Called to ask about a service on my Generac generator. Explained what the issue was and they recommended I try a new oil pressure switch versus spending the money for a service call. A new switch was ordered and I installed it in about 5-minutes. Problem solved!!! Am very thankful for their service and professionalism. $45.00 instead of a $100.00 (just guessing) service call. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!! -

I seem to be the naysayer here, but this company came out from an insurance claim for a leaky shower. After they left, the guy didnt go into work the next day so they had no idea what was going on with my house. I tried to take a shower the next day and no water. Whatever the guy did made it completely worse than before and I am unable to take a shower. Plus the guy was over an hour late. I am a very unhappy customer.Also, when I spoke with Chuck, he suggested I call the insurance company and send a different plumber out to fix the issue, which the insurance company would not do. So Im still stuck with a plumber who only made the problem worse, from a leaky shower to no water at all.Update: I called them back and they did a great job the second time around and Im a happy customer now. -

We suspected a leak in our crawl space, Keagan and an associate came out and found the leak. They were professional and very helpful in swapping out the pipe and fixing the problem. We highly recommend McConnell! -

I called McConnell plumbing on a frozen water pipe issue and they were at my house within 45 minutes to look at the problem. He found the problem pretty quickly and resolved it. Gave me some ideas to help elminate further issues. Chuck, you have awesome people working for you. Kevin Burk -

My basement flooded recently and had two other plumbers come out and not know what they were doing and one said my sump pit didnt have aerating holes in the sides and those had to be drilled. Well that wasnt my sump pit. The next guy came out and looked at my actual sump pump and said it was broken and needed to be replaced. Ashley from Mcconnells then came out and was able to fix the sump pump in under 5 minutes (trust me I watched him). He explained exactly what went wrong and what the other plumbers SHOULD have done first. Even tho he fixed that one, I still had him come back to install a brand new one with a back up pump and he made sure to go over everything with me, how it works, what to do, what battery to get for the backup pump. He knows what hes doing and he does a great job. I will only be calling Mcconnells from now on for any plumbing issues. -
