We only had a short window that we were in town and needed some plumbing repairs. We scheduled the Young guys to come out. Our travel plans changed a few days before and Jessica was awesome to reschedule our booking window. Doug, Alberto and Joseph came out Friday night as their last call of the day. They completed our repairs and also fixed a leak we weren’t aware of. They were incredibly personable, competent and efficient. We would use them again and highly recommend Young Plumbing! I cannot say enough good things about this company! They replaced a pipe running to the house, put in a new water heater, and replaced some leaking pipes. They are incredibly nice and honest, which is hard to find. They were great about giving us all the options and explaining everything to us. The office staff was also amazing. Alberto arrived to discuss several options and estimates with me for an old clawfoot tub with a faucet dripping about 8 gallons a day, and some very ugly PVC piping I wanted replaced. I was super nervous about prices, and had a very difficult time deciding on 2 style options. Alberto was extremely patient and pleasant and helpful with my indecision (and was very patient with my ramblings that had absolutely nothing to do with my plumbing issues). It was obvious that he knew exactly what he was talking about and I felt confident from the get go that this company could be trusted to be fair and to get the job done correctly. Alberto made the process less stressful and I am excited to see the finished project soon (and excited to not have to tote 4 buckets of water downstairs each day).Young Plumbing was highly recommended to me by a friend, and I understand why. Hot water heater failing. Pulled this company off the net at 10:30 am today (FRIDAY!!!)). Young plumbing said they would visit by 4PM this same day. We fully expected having to replace the unit (been there /done that several times over the years). However, their inspection revealed a sensor in the heater automatically shut it down . They adjusted the sensor and were confident it should not be a problem again. They committed to making the service call before the the weekend, were on time, analyzed AND fixed the sensor, all in one service call. We are happy to have hot water for the weekend w/o getting hosed. Highly recommend Young Plumbing Services in the Anderson area! Ron R

I had a crisis where my hot water heater had water spewing out the top of my unit under my house. Josef was the technician that came the same day the water leak was found. He quickly found the leak and what went wrong. He was such a professional technician and so knowledgeable about my unit and made sure all was operating properly before he turned my water back on. He showed me the problem and resolved it and showed me the photos. He made recommendations and helped me with the contacts. I can’t give enough stars for this company and the staff that even spoke to me on the phone setting up the same day visit. They literally go above and beyond for the customers. I contacted Young Plumbing on a recommendation from one of my suppliers. I had a leak that I could not find and called on a Monday morning and spoke to Jessica who answered promptly. She listened to my concerns and worked her schedule to have a crew out Tuesday morning between 9:30-10:30 am. I received a call from Richard, Lead Install and he gave a time of expected arrival. The team of Richard and Joey, Sr. Service Tech, arrived on time and introduced themselves and were very professional. They analyzed the situation and gave a very professional plan of resolve. After having Upstate Leak Detectors come out and pinpoint the area of leakage, I contacted Young Plumbing late Friday morning and spoke to Jessica again. She contacted her service teams and Richard and Joey volunteered their time on a late Friday afternoon to come out and do the needed repairs. They called with their estimated time of arrival which they met. Again both were very professional and having all the needed parts on their work vehicle, they fixed the leak in a very timely manner. They cleaned the area, filled the hole and promptly replaced the grass, lookin like nothing had been disturbed. This by far the BEST experience I have ever had with any contractor, and HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Young Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. I don’t enjoy shopping for professional services but it is absolutely necessary if you want to be sure you are working with people who are competent, honest, professional and who price their services appropriately. So when I find a company that meets all these criteria I quit shopping and expect to be treated well. It is a bonus when you can honestly say the service professionals are your friends. I am very pleased to have such a relationship with Young Plumbing Services. Over the last few years Richard and Michael have helped with multiple needs from a broken supply pipe to a full bathroom addition and I have nothing but good to say. Every time I see Richard and Michael it is more like getting a visit from a good friend than someone who is just there to do plumbing job. For my next plumbing repair or renovation I will again contact Young Plumbing Services and request my friends Richard and Michael.

Youngs team of two came out as scheduled and did a very nice, professional job of siting and installing a whole house shutoff valve and a new hose faucet.In addition, they discovered, located and repaired a small leak near the county water connection, and properly insulated the existing line entering the house under the deck. They also volunteered to do the work the same evening thus avoiding a scheduling problem, and did not finish until 9pm.Highly recommended!

It has been a pleasure to work with Doug Young, Jessica Young, and the plumbing teams of Young Plumbing Services.We originally visited with Doug to discuss options for a new water heater and whole house water filtration system. Ultimately we decided on the systems that best suited our needs.The 50 gal hybrid heat pump water heater and the ultimate home filtration system both came with 10 year parts and labor warranties. During our construction phase Doug found a leak under the house coming from one of the shower valves. Doug was very quick to report the issue to us and quickly began to contact all of the qualified contractors that was needed to make the repairs to walls and flooring. During the entire process Young Plumbing went above and beyond to get us ready for inspection and we never had to worry if things would be done properly. We can’t give a high enough review for their honesty and quality of work. They truly care about their customers and their actions are consistent with their word. Doug is phenomenal! We have had no hot water in our downstairs faucets since moving into a newly constructed townhouse two months ago. The builder and plumber that installed the tankless water heater have made numerous attempts trouble shooting in trying to resolve the problem however, Doug was able to isolate the issue and provided our builder and the installing plumber a solution to resolve the issue. Doug was very personable, professional (hes a master plumber) and focused on the solution as opposed to dwelling on why the problem existed. We highly recommend Young Plumbing!

Over the weekend I had an outdoor busted pipe. I called Young Plumbing in the hopes they could come out. In less than two hour Doug called and said he would be here in 15 minutes. He told me the goal was to get my water back on and reschedule for complete repairs. When I called to reschedule repairs I was pleasantly surprised that they would be that same day. Once again I received a call from Richard and James saying they were 20 minutes out. When they arrived, they knew exactly what to do and had all the right supplies and tools to complete their tasks. Young plumbing did a great job to add a small bathroom toilet and sink in my home office above the garage. They installed a new water line from the house. Doug scoped this out and came up with a great solution to take the pipe to the side of the house where there were no cables or electrical lines saving potential headaches in the dig. With all new water lines in the garage they disturbed very little of the wall to do it. He had another great idea to install a mini water heater inside the new sink cabinet so I did not need to take up space with a regular size water heater in the building. And I love my new yard hydrant out back next to the garage. Now I can wash the car right next to the building. Doug is a solution genius and I am delighted with the outcome. Young Plumbing is very professional and I had a project description and contract so I knew all the details and prices up front. They are also very neat and left my site spotless. If I could give a 10 out of 10 I would! The entire Young Plumbing team were terrific right from the first time I spoke with them...On time! Quick! Kept me informed while the process was going on even after hours! I went through my home warranty and they were the plumbing service assigned. They called me first thing Monday Morning had someone out to look at the water heater that day. Got the information to the warranty company that afternoon and since I told them I had a member of the family with a Medical condition (At home daily Dialysis) they went above and beyond to make sure the warranty company knew that detail and to get the claim pushed along quickly and a heater ordered. They called me back after hours that night to let me know the heater was ordered and that even though they were totally booked for the week they made room for me and the next afternoon they were here to install the heater! The guys were great and showed me where they were putting the new one and were in and out of here quickly! I cannot honestly say enough great things about this local company. I will be using them again as I have a master bath that will need plumbing work done when we start updating the bath. They are a local company and I would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone looking for a great company. I might add I never do reviews as I normally dont have good ones to give but this was the exception!

Young Plumbing installed our new kitchen sink and did yearly maintenance check. We’re so glad he detected three problem areas that could have caused us lots of damage if left unchecked. Doug and his assistant were conscientious about clean up and we felt completely comfortable with them in our home. They do a superior job of documenting what’s been done, for future reference.
