A professional operation from start to finish. It was easy to set up an appointment and I received a text confirmation immediately after scheduling. I was able to reply to the text with images so they knew exactly what they were dealing with and what they needed. I received a text when the plumber was on his way. We have a hydro run heating and air-conditioning system. We lost water tuesday morning. The system was put in many years ago and was not marked or identified. Maas and son showed up Wednesday morning. They identified the problem temporarily set up system to make sure everything was running. They made sure I had an electrician on their way before leaving. They were polite and friendly and didnt make me feel stupid with all of my questions. If and when my pump does fail I will be contacting them again.

Wow! We have water pressure for the first time in several years. Tom came right on time, had to haul a bunch of stuff up and down the basement stairs and did an amazing job of hooking everything up and cleaning up. My mothers basement sewer drain backed up this weekend. I was unable to resolve this myself (though thought I had twice).I called Maas & Sons this morning and they were able to get 2 very friendly guys out within an hour. They were great with my mom and her pets, and got it unclogged and working in short order. Very professional and nice. That alone would have been a good review. But when I reached out to pay my bill, they let me know that the guys in the field had made an error and the bill was actually much lower than anticipated. I hadnt actually balked at the original charge (I have no idea what this sort of work costs, I work in IT) and was really struck by their integrity on this as I would simply have paid the full amount on the original bill.So on top of prompt, efficient, friendly service - Maas and Sons integrity and honesty earned them both this glowing review and a future customer as I fully intend to hire them the next time I hit a wall with my limited handyman abilities!

Maas and Sons is an outstanding organization and I would recomend them highly. We recently had our well pump burn out on a Friday afternoon. With an hour left in the normal work day, Tom responded, and attempted every trick he could think of to get our water flowing and limp us to Monday afternoon. In spite of his great effort, the pump would not cooperate. Tom gave us the option of having a crew come Saturday morning on emergency call to address the issue, but I opted to wait for Monday. Tom moved our appointment from Monday at 3pm, to Monday 7am. With a torent of rain forcast for Monday, (we ended up with 4 inches in 12 hours)Tom and Charlie showed up before 7am, and got right to work. In the rain they were able to hand pull our well pipe and pump, replace all the old pipe (which was breaking in their hands) install the new well pump, run all the electrical, and have water flowing in just a few hours. It was such a sloppy, messy job, they both looked like they had been trying to wrestle greased pigs, but the took it in stride, kept our house clean and were always courteous and professional. Late, messy, not very personable but got the complete opposite.I bought a house that proved to be a fixer upper with many things wrong that were not noted by the seller.From my first call to Sarah to team Rudy - my plumbers, I was dazzled. When the Maas truck pulled in at 8:25 for my 8:30 appointment I thought it was a dream. They fixed my outside tap and updated it (from what might have been the original from the early 1900’s)The tub/shower had as much water pressure as a drinking fountain. I now have the perfect amount of pressure and a working tub/shower.Mess? Not at all. Not a water drop, dirt or dust from drilling. No evidence of what I can only assume was a messy repair.I will call them soon for my kitchen sink and disposal install.Just reading the reviews and I am a bit nervous about my bill. I did get a quote for the tap but not the shower. But still feel my review for service is exact.

We have used this company time and time again since we moved into an old farmhouse. Some were issues with the house...other times our 3 year old daughter would cause a plumbing issue or 2 and most recently a water heater. I love working with Maas & Sons no matter what the plumbing issue is. Their team is kind, honest and does not make you feel stupid when youre not an expert in plumbing. Today they could have easily told me I needed a new water heater and been on their way. They instead took their time to really research the issue with our current water heater by simply doing some maintenance and saved us thousands of dollars. Thats honesty. I wouldnt have known the difference if it could work again or not... and they chose to be honest. I really appreciate them so much and feel blessed to have them in our community.
